Leslie Weeks: I brought my cat here to stay for a couple of nights. Upon arrival I was told I couldn’t come in and see where he was staying and how big the condo was. I was also told that they wouldn’t interact of touch my cat for 24 hrs, “to make sure they can handle him”. Now, I understand a few hours or so, but to go 24 hours without any one giving him attention, is just completely wrong. The woman who checked him in, was so rude and abrasive. She dropped his carrier close to the ground.Also, their website states that the nightly rate is $32 a night. When I checked him in, I was told the fee was $36 a night.They should honor the website price but instead the owner blamed that on the web developer and that she has been trying to change but that it’s on them to fix it.I had such an uneasy feeling when I dropped him off. When I went to pick him up they wanted to charge me for 3 nights instead of 2. There was nothing on their policy about check in/ check out. The woman who checked me in, mind you this was all done In a parking lot, never said anything about the hours.This place is in an office building, which I feel is not appropriate for a cat boarding place is in. The one thing tbough that really upset me, is not being able to see where my cat would be. They never sent any pictures or say how he was doing. I tried to call the next day but no one answered. When I picked him up, he cried. I have never heard him cry like that before. It broke my heart. I would not bring him back there. I just didn’t feel comfortable and should have just left with him then. That was my mistake.

Renn R: I highly suggest Chez Mieuz Cat Kennel. We had to drive from Worcester to drop our cats off but it was 100% worth it. We choose this kennel not only because it was cat's only, but our cats can also board together as well which was very important to us.One of our cats also need's medical attention every day, and when we picked them up after our short vacation they looked just as well as we had left them!We will 100% return. Thank you to the staff! You were all so very kind.

I departed for my vacation on September 28th, 2021, and returned on October 14th to pick up my kitty.A week into boarding, I received a phone call informing me that my cat had loose stools and was not eating the food I provided for her.I was going to cut my vacation short but, the person caring for my cat ensured me that it was because she was not used to the environment and asked me if she was a stray.A stray! Very insulting, considering I purchased her from a registered CFA breeder. She is a shy kitten, and I made that clear when I turned her over to them. I provided hemp chewable to calm her nerves if she was uncomfortable.The caretaker took it upon herself to change her food to Meow Mix or some other low-end brand instead of giving her the food provided.When I picked my baby up, she was traumatized. I saw the pain in her eyes. She was so happy I came for her and could not stop rubbing up against me.Immediately I noticed she hadn't had any grooming whiles in their care. Her hair was matted all over. Dried blood and stool covered her bottom.It appeared to be an infection in her bottom region. The gravel filled her hair; my baby went from a show cat to a rag doll.Request to facetime my cat was not honored; due to the owner not giver the caretaker permission to facetime me. All emails to the owner went unanswered.Persian cats require a lot of love and daily grooming. If you're going to run a kennel, please know what the various breeds require so that you can meet their needs. Playtime or time outside the cage should also increase from two twenty-minute time slots per day. Now I see why she went into distress being locked in that cage all day.I wish my kitten had a different experience on her first boarding, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

Angela Bartlett-Burgos: I wish there was another location closer to Boston. I'd help run it! The condos are big, I haven't seen anything like these for sale. They may be custom-made. A few different rooms as well. They provide bowls, litter boxes with lots of litter, new kitty beds, a play area, calming spray, etc. I can't say too much yet because it hasn't even been 24 hours and I'm the human. Ill see when I pick up my cats in a few days.

Jesse Taylor: My husband and I were invited to a wedding in Georgia and were unable to find someone to take care of them. When I learned about Chez Mieux Cat Kennel and after reading a bunch of glowing reviews, after checking it out, we made arrangements for them to stay there for 5 days. It was so affordable, too. Being away from them was torturous and I called almost every day we were gone to check on them. The cats had such a great time, it was hard to get him in his carrier to go home. I was so happy and emotional, I thanked the woman who took care of them. I was so happy, I gave her a hug.We will definitely board our cats there the next time we travel.

Kathryn Packman: We have boarded our cat at Chez Mieux for 7-10 day vacations at least 3 times per year over the past couple of years. I would not think of going anywhere else. It is clean and comfortable, with knowledgeable and caring staff. Most (if not all?) have formal veterinary technician training, and it is clear how much they love cats! Sometimes he’s so happily playing with them that he pays me little notice when I return to pick him up. That’s a sure sign of a happy feline!

He loves going to day care so much that we cannot say the word "common dog" at home because as soon as he hears the word he thinks he is going to daycare and stands by the door.
