Jean Yen Smith: Loved the city, my host family, class activities, & teachers’ teaching methods & friendliness! The locations of the school & the host family are very convenient to walk to & are also quiet enough although there had been this traditional singing & joke telling festive events almost every night at the near-by plaza, they were happy, joyful, & pretty music & sounds to my ears & wished that I had energy to join them! I was also particularly surprised by how safe I felt on the streets in the center of the city, even in the early evenings, which was the opposite of what I had read online concerning the crime report before my trip there! All in all, I highly recommend studying Spanish at such a wonderful school & beautiful city of Guanajuato!

Trina PaStarr: Language international helped me schedule a one month Spanish school in Cuenca, Ecuador. During the pandemic so much across the world was closed or had limited hours and was all super confusing to figure out. Language international helped me figure out the best fit and organized all the back and forth with the school for me. I ended up loving my school, Yanapuma, the teachers and the facilities. Great quality. Definitely recommend!!

Jesse: This past summer I took a ten week beginner lesson with a private tutor. The price and convenience were unbeatable, giving me flexibility to fit the sessions in around my busy schedule. However, I did not feel challenged enough during the course of the program, as the curriculum seemed to lack structure and direction. Moreover, after signing up, there was no interaction at all with CILA - regular check-ins would have been nice. I'll revert to self-teaching for now until I can find the optimal set-up for classroom learning.

Mary Mack: I took a class a few years ago in the Winter from this place. It was ok. I travelled in once a week by boat and bus from Nantucket--had to miss some classes because of weather and cancelled boats. All in all, it was a good experience. I am probably at a low intermediate speaking level now through self teaching. I've tried to sign up again many, many, many times and no one ever answers my emails or calls me back. They said my pronunciation was unusually good. Is that a bad thing? Please call me back. Thanks.

Eric Schneider: The chinese class experience is a little scattered, because people start/drop classes whenever (doesn't have the pressure of school) but it's a pleasant, casual place to come and practice with other people who want to be there (for a plethora of reasons).
