Christ Church Cambridge: what do users think?
Brent: This church, quite literally, hosts programming by far-right Putin propagandists who blame America for Russia's invasion of Ukraine, deny atrocities committed by Russians in Ukraine (Bucha, Mariupol, mass kidnapping), and use dehumanizing and anti-Semitic language to describe the Ukrainian people.I will not go, but if you ever do, please tell Reverend Katherine Ekrum that her behavior is not very Christ-like.
Jordan Brown: Lovely experience
Chandra Batra: The building needs repairs makes me sad
Andreas Wisler: Schöne, kleine, feine Kirche. Ein kurzer Abstecher lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.
Lady Jay: Very welcoming 😍 🙏
Ron Yang: What can I say? It’s my spiritual home.
al king: Good People!
Natban Tarani Jr.: There is a lot of help for people who are homeless and they care about the person's wellbeing. The food, clothing that is donated and the programs are free.
Daniel Mosher: Historical
RoadTrip NewEngland: George Washington celebrated mass here.
Nmesoma Salome Ogbuani: Beautiful church and Music
Joshua: Beautiful and relaxing
Aaron Noll: This church was especially welcoming to "seekers" like me. The priest gave a lengthy talk before communion about how all are welcome to take it. (I crossed my arms for a blessing.) This was the most welcome I have felt in any Episcopal church on that score. People generally were welcoming there. They have a library and the Christian Education class seems awesome with plentiful guest lecturers. This church certainly appeals to my intellectual needs. The church was very full, a nice thing to see. They seem to have a lot of visitors. (The two pews in front of me all had visitors too.)
Nick Baker: An amazing service! So much participation in the choir and all other aspects! I attended to listen to the bell choir, which was so great! Please you need to visit! You will feel so welcome!
john abdallah wambere: My favourite house of worship very supportive, focused on social justice work and community support
Max Boesch-Powers: I have been a part of Christ Church Cambridge for about 5 years, and I love it there. Very Welcoming!
Pete Shelzi: Nice church. It is always clean and orderly.
Elio Maggini: Open welcoming community with strong sense of social service.
Josiah Dykstra: Historic, simple church. Excellent music and choir at the 10:15 service.
Elly Stout: Beautiful place, friendly people
Alex Showers: Warm community striving to improve society through local engagement. Uses religion to bring people together as opposed to reinforcing decisions. For example, all are welcome to receive communion.

New School of Music: what do users think?
Adriana Healy: My daughter did the cabaret for kids summer camp last year (2022) and she had a wonderful experience. Staff is really friendly and did a great job in guiding the kids through the steps to put the show together, including composing the music.
Ben A: Our experience with piano lessons here has been excellent. A good school with a lovely community
Kateri Cox: I would enroll the next time around!
Joe Kitsch: This is a wonderful music school with a talented and knowledgeable staff. I mostly go go to see performances and special events; it’s a nice cultural oasis in the hum drum mainstream of entertainment of the Greater Boston area.
Philip Jacob: My daughter went here for years and had a wonderful teacher... until the teacher didn’t respond to us over the summer, gave away her spot and only told us at the last minute, two weeks after the school year started. The administration totally dropped the ball on getting back to us to help us understand what was going on with scheduling. We feel strung along and blown off. What a joke. Very disappointed. The building is old but quaint in a Cantabrigian kind of way. Parking is usually very tight.
Juancarlos Martinez: This school is a mess. I'm not sure if it's an incompetent school manager or the funding just isn't there, but the state of the school is a mess. It's crumbling right before our eyes. The only redeeming quality is that the instructors are actually very great, but the administrative staff are an absolute terror to deal with.Listen, there are many different schools of music in Boston in addition to highly qualified private instructors. You will do better elsewhere, and this school needs to do better.
Mai Vu: I have had a bad experience dealing with this school. Their administration is unprofessional and frustrating to deal with.I initially signed up online for a children group class for my 4 year old daughter who then decided not to go to the class. The signup was done in the week just before the section started, and I called the school up before the first class to see if I can get a refund. The registrar who answered the phone said Yes, I could get a refund but I would have to call back next week since the person who processes online payment is not there that day. The next time I called back, she then said that No, I cannot get a refund because of their policy on group classes, which she wasn't aware of!After a couple of phone calls back and forth, the registrar said that she will speak with the director who will call me back. But the director never called back and I had to call her up the week after.I told the director given that we withdrew before the first class started, my daughter has not even been to the school and is not learning any thing from this school, keeping the whole payment is not justifiable. I am willing to pay some penalty and request a partial refund. The director was all apologetic but was to no help -- she finally offered some credit transfer (which I had also initially suggested) to the summer school only. But by this time I have made summer plans, and have in fact lost all interest in sending my daughter to this school. In my experience, the fact that the registrar was not even aware of the refund policy, and that there was no follow-up from the director as indicated, all emanate that this school does not really care about its "students", or at all about educating music. All it cares about is keeping parents' money regardless whether the child is learning -- or has even started at this school. The more interesting thing is that even after all these conversations, the school keeps sending me email about new classes, events and asking for feedback on their classes. In one of those feedback questions they say that they regularly apply for funding through multiple foundations, individual and corporations who request to know what impact their school (NSM) is making on students, families and community. Well, the impact has been negative and I would not recommend giving money to this school, given their unprofessional handling and attitude in this case. My daughter could still be a potential student at their school, but after this I would not send her there and would not recommend NSM to any other parent.

St. Paul's Parish: what do users think?
Charles Downing: Met McGowan who works at the church. While I took pictures from my camera around beautiful Harvard Campus and Cambridge. She asked where I came from. I said North Carolina. She said she is from Chapel Hills. I said from Raleigh. Small World. She invited me inside of the church. It was such a massive and gorgeous church. I told her I am 8x great grandnephew of Sir George Downing who studied theology at Harvard University.Class of 1642. We are the Downing/ Winthrop family of Boston and Salem during the 17th Century. Cheers
Sandra García: It has been my parish since I moved to Boston. It is so beautiful😍 also, the community is welcoming 🙏🏻
Carlos Mattos: Amazing church
Dan Fortmann: For the best liturgical music in greater Boston you are hard pressed to find any congregation with the history and resources of Harvard University's magnificent Catholic parish St Paul's. Billed as the best boy's choir in North America their weekly contribution spans repertoire Mediaeval, Renaissance, Classical, Romantic and Modern. Go to listen or to sing in one of Cambridge, Massachusetts' many American architectural wonders.
Patrick Scott Welsh (Paugh): Saw the Christmas in Harvard Square boys choral concert here. Just a lovely experience. And I'm by no means deeply aware of this art form, just wanted to get out in some cold and hopefully snow (we did!) with the fam and get the holiday feel going (we did!).But after reading up on the art form and this particular group in the event pamphlet it's quite impressive! The director has been all over the world and was an organist at St. Paul's Cathedral in London so I imagine that's the apex for that vocation (and one of my favorite places on earth). There are still tickets available for the next show on the 18th if you're looking for something to do!!
Goldenpie Hk: church that serve the Harvard and the community
Saleh Daher: The boy's choir takes your breath away. They are angelic. The homilies are almost invariably engaging or thought-provoking. The parishioners are friendly and helpful. The old church is magnificent and has been recently restored.
Jim Arcand: The marble, statuary, paintings and general beauty of this church should not be missed. The choir of angels could welcome one to the Pearly Gates. It has to be the gem stone and top treasure of the Boston Archdiocese. Michelangelo would definitely approve. Breath taking beauty and artistry in all respects. Artists and craftsmen of superb quality and talent.
David Mackay: Catholic church, large clean and open. Good place to stop and meditate or pray. Priest was friendly.
Der Rosenkavalier: Saint Paul Parish is a lovely and beautiful church. The Masses are an experience. Unfortunately, as I have learned from first hand by attending in person, if you are in any way different from what others consider normal, if you do not have money and if you are not a man, they will either show you the door, call the police on you or ignore you. Jesus the Son of God welcomes EVERYBODY. Saint Paul Parish does not.
Kit Parker: Beautiful Christmas Eve service
Luke Tsai: Traditional and faithful, and amazing boys choir. Street parking near y is free on Sundays
Susan Holland: Wonderful parish! The people are so friendly and it's really beautiful.
Allen Widjaja: Nice church.
Juliana Andreina Perez Garcia: I recommend bible studies with Ben and the women’s group, confessions on Saturday at 3 pm, Mass during the week at the super convenient time of 12:10 pm and the wonderful masses where the solemnity, respect and formality is sublime, it prepares you and invite you to be in the presence of God. The music is a piece of heaven on earth with the voices of the children’s choir. I highly recommend this wonderful place for prayer. On the left side you’ll find the Blessed Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus and St. Josep. Look at the paintings, they are inspiring and full on love
Robert Carney: Wonderful church. I lived right near the church for almost two years and after moving 25 minutes away (biking), I still attended this church before moving out of state despite there being numerous churches nearby. This parish has something for nearly everyone. A Choir School that sings at the Sunday 11:00 AM Mass during the school year, young adult group, campus ministry (undergraduate and graduate students), a group for young families, coffee hour after the Sunday 9:30 am and 11:00 am Masses, Adoration, multiple Daily Masses each weekday, and opportunities for study of the faith, spiritual growth and practice of the corporal works of mercy. And finally, the sanctuary of the church is just absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend. N.B. I have not lived in the area since July 2019, so some of the details of the ministries may have changed.
monique mckenna: Amazingly helpful!
Kristopher Kuss: This review is specifically to commend Peter and the food pantry volunteers, they are great. I don't know anything else about the parish
Reinaldo Martinez P.: Nice to pray and make contact with the community
Harold Brown: one of the last great churches...i go every Sunday..and my daughter does ccd here..they do dinners and breakfasts here.. great church beautiful inside and the people are very inviting..
Bennett Chaney: This is a beautiful place. That being said, however, the message that was delivered was unacceptable for being a socially biased and ignorant lamentation on a national public policy in regulation of pregnancy terminations. My wife and I lost our/her pregnancy because it had become clear that there was no chance of survival of our child and my wife would be at serious risk if we did not accept this.It was not our decision. The delivery of the message was done in a way that was dismissive of the health of the potential parents and even touted the issue as being something that is based on the convenience to the man and woman. It was not our decision.I was shaking. My wife was in tears. It was not our decision.I do put effort into giving positive reviews for places around the city, but this is an experience that I cannot brush off of my shoulder. When the imp jumps at you with barbs and knives, you have to fight it.
