Lexington Christian Academy: what do users think?
Matt: Great teachers, great community, great athletics, overall great school and a treasure to the Massachusetts community
Alana Spaeth: Do your children a favor and research this school to the highest extent. They come off professional, academic, with the intention of portraying excellence but are anything but. I normally am not one to post public reviews but this school is a disgrace to the Massachusetts community. While I’m sure there are children who have positive experiences with this academy, they don’t stand true to their quality or standards and should not be reflected that way.
Luke Skywalker: I love this place the teachers are amazing
Michelle Motta Dardeno: We are in our second year at LCA with a family history dating back to 1975. We are big supporters of the academic rigor, the culture of Christian values and support for every student both in the middle school and high school level. Families are valued with many opportunities to stay engaged with your child/ren's education. While reviews can be compelling, the real test is a visit. I encourage you to visit, spend the day, speak to current students, families, teachers/staff and most importantly...watch + listen. It is a special and unique educational experience nestled in the heart of Lexington. My test? My children are happy, love to learn, want to go to school and can’t wait to return the next day. They want to try new things, cheer their classmates on in sports and make new friends.
Jim Petipas: I have had a connection with LCA since 1992. Initially as a youth pastor in Lexington and then as a father of two daughters, one who graduated in 2016 and another who is currently a sophomore. While a youth pastor many of the students in my youth group attended LCA and I had the opportunity to visit LCA on many occasions. I would often recommend the school to families that I met. I am still doing that today. Both of my daughters have received and are receiving excellent educations from LCA. It is a nurturing environment that encourages students to discover. Discover not only academically, but socially, athletically, spiritually and artistically. From what I have witnessed the faculty and staff genuinely love working at the school and caring for the students in such a way that creates an environment of excellence. Both my wife and I are active in volunteering at the school. We are very thankful for the opportunities over the years to be connected with LCA!
A FC: We have two daughters who have flourished at LCA under the loving and discerning care of the faculty. The faculty really get to know the students, challenge them, and draw out their gifts and talents. Our girls started in 6th grade and are now in HS. They've been able to participate in Honors and AP level courses, play sports, participate in the performing arts, develop great friendships, and grow spiritually. It is a small school, so, if someone wants to be lost in a big crowd, this is not the place. It has the advantages of being small and does an excellent job of overcoming the disadvantages of being small (such as variety of courses and sports offered). As parents, we value education highly and have benefited from some of the best schools and Universities in the country. We were searching for a school with high academic standards that also truly loved our children. We found that at LCA.
Amber Moody: Lexington Christian Academy is more than a school - it's a community where our children are growing and thriving. It's a place where our children's natural, God-giving talents and abilities are not only uncovered and revealed, but honed and strengthened day by day. The faculty and staff sincerely care about each and every student at LCA. From their state of the art facilities, to the playing fields, to the performing arts center, there is a place to grow and thrive for every student at this school.
Danielle Athanasiadis: We visited LCA and fell in love just walking in the door. The atmosphere exemplifies the strong educational, faith based, athletic, community, and family like setting that we have been in search of.Though we have been part of the LCA family for 2 yrs our daughter has found where she belongs, where she can be herself, express herself, learn, and be just be part of a community as one.
Isaac Milton: Fantastic School
Tylerswag 89: Good Fantastic
Donna Stewartson: Wonderful school
Maria Calvo: My friend loves it there

Suryadi Hertanto: Matthew 5:14-16 (WEB)You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Jesse: Great people and everyone is nice.
Igor Danciães Almeida Silva: Attended the service in Portuguese once. It was very nice. Nice and friendly people.
Erin O'Brien: Gospel preaching Presbyterian Church with Amazing music.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: what do users think?
Patricia Franks: I have been attending meetings at this church for almost two years. I moved to Boston to attend university and I knew very few people. These congregations welcomed me in and I was able to find so many good friends. I have learned so much about Jesus Christ and felt so much peace. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds are welcome! People typically wear dress shirts, dresses and skirts to Sunday services, but these are not required.
Stephen Kramer: Fantastic fellowship.
Matthew Von Trapp: Nice building, nice people, amazing doctrine
Jesse Cummings: Great congregation and community. Very friendly people with elegant and beautiful thoughts about Christ and His Gospel. Very uplifting.
Emily Bartholomew: Met great people from the congregation! This building is peaceful and the focus on Christ is evident. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!
Megan Williams: True living church, complete with real living prophets!
Jordan Hakes: I go to the Longfellow Park YSA ward here. Couldn't find a nicer community of Saints. Plus there are activities happening all the time so its easy to make friends. Member of the church or not dont be afraid to visit, they're always more than happy to make you feel welcome.
Deborah Gaz: This has been my chapel/place of worship since I was a little child. I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the font at this building at the age of 8 before my family began attending church at the then newly built Latter-day Saint chapel nearby in Belmont, MA. This chapel in Cambridge, MA, became again my place of worship when I started attending college in Massachusetts and ever since (22 years and counting) except for the brief amount of time it was closed for renovations after a fire and again during the pandemic. I have fond memories and feelings for the countless members, church leaders, and friends I have met and learned from over my life worshiping here. A very special building in my life and faith.
Jonnie Larson: I've been going to church here since 2013. Sunday worship is great and there were a lot of fun activity's going on here during the week (up until the Covid Pandemic struck). Looking forward to things hopping here again in the future. All are welcome here whether you are a member of the faith here or not. There are three congregations that attend here. These congregations are for people who are not married- the 3 congregations ages range from 18 up to 45.I receive a spiritual foundation (centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ) for me life by going here.
Blanko suazo: Clean gospel...
Nicole Smith: I've attended Church in this building for the past year and a half. I also had the privilege of attending Church in this building a decade ago.Located about a 7-10 minute walk from the Red Line Harvard Stop and off numerous bus stops, it is convenient to get to. The building has a lot of history, originally used as a mission home it has also been the home to many congregations of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After a tragic fire on May 17, 2009 this building was renovated within the standing exterior brick walls. The steeple is also the original from before the fire. I'm personally grateful that the building remains - it holds so many memories and within it's walls my testimony of Jesus Christ has grown and been strengthened on many occasions.
Aubrey Odom-Mabey: Great congregations! The members are so welcoming and excited to share their thoughts and faith with each other regarding the gospel of Jesus Christ. Great start to my week!
Adriana Morales: What is the schedule for for sacrament meeting?
Garrett Anderson: I had a good time here for my brother’s missionary farewell. Great people.
Robert Bolar: Looking for a positive message and some nice people to worship with? This is the place!
Andrew Wait: This place and people help me strive to be a better person.
Cosme Oliveira: Best place to be
Darrin Simpson: Great building! Great neighborhood! Amazing people!
Matthew Morrissette: The Longfellow Park 2nd Ward is full of wonderful, warm people that have always been very helpful with trying to help me settle in to a new ward. This was my third ward in a year (I moved around a lot), and wasn't looking forward to going to another one. But the people here always made me feel very welcome and I fit right in. I will be sad that I be leaving it soon, but I hope to come back and visit often.
Dawn Hawkins: Went to church here for 5 years while in college and working. A powerful and insightful group of young single adults and students. Always felt so welcome, even though I was kind of shy. Learned so much about the Gospel and just life in general from the great people here. Church on Sundays usually starts around 9 and 11 (you can check with them online for other times) and they have lots of activities throughout the week, including basketball, volleyball, bible study classes, dinners, group activities and more. Loved the location - so historic, a beautiful building. Perfect for Sunday afternoon strolls. If you're looking for more meaning and understanding in life or just some great uplifting people to be around, consider stopping in. Visitors are welcome.
Elder Chapman: The congregation here is very friendly, I moved in just a few weeks ago and already I feel a strong connection to the building and the people.
