Richard Thomas: Helpful and professional staff. Great prices. I love the smell of fresh cut Christmas trees! They have dedicated parking spots just a little ahead on the opposite side of the street.

Lael Stanczak: For the second year running, our tree is amazing (full, symmetrical, fragrant, accepting water) and we have no plans to stop coming any time soon. They are knowledgeable, honest, eager to ensure buyers are satisfied with their choice, and very helpful after checkout moving the tree to your vehicle. I understand why this is a 50+ year institution. I found them on Google and I hope you do too. This year the second tree they showed us was the winner and, as it is now decorated, it is clear that we made the right choice on the tree and on Boston Christmas Trees.
A C: Employees are friendly and helpful, but the trees are simply top notch. They’re fresh from the farm (not sitting around for 1+ weeks before thanksgiving) and they’re always beautiful. I’ve purchased trees several years in a row now. This year I moved out of Boston but ended up coming back because the tree lots near my house all had thin cachectic looking trees. Anyway, this year was fast and simple. I told the employee the height and type (Frazier vs Douglas), he pulled out a tree and it was already perfect. No missing spots, full of healthy needles/limbs, came with fresh snow to boot (yep, they were unloading the truck from up north right before I got there). He bundled it up, took off the end of the stump, and had it tied to my car in less than 10 minutes. Prices are also very competitive, but it’s cash only. Free parking across the street too.

Ari C: Overall, an amazing locally-owned business. Never had a problem in person. However, 9 out of 10 times they are rude when answering the phone and often hang up intentionally. Having an attitude when I simply called and asked how much a 7 ft balsam would be is completely uncalled for. Beware.

The people are super friendly. It is a family business so everyone is there to help rather than get you out the door. So happy with our tree. Will be back here next year !

You couldn't ask for a better group of people to have help you. They're always willing to provide the best quality and do it with a smile. Love going there. Wouldn't be Christmas if I didn't. Just purchased 6 trees from them...friends wanted trees for great value and that last..wouldn't go any other place definitely the best around!
Joy Franco: What a great place! It’s a small lot but it’s such a convenient location and still has plenty of options. The workers are so kind, friendly, and helpful. I think the prices are also very competitive (trees are just expensive). So happy with my 7’ beauty and very grateful the guy helping me did a fantastic job of securing it to the roof. Made it home no problem.Also I think the live garland and wreaths are 100% worth the money. They’re just gorgeous and smell delightful.

RoadTrip NewEngland: One of the best places to get trees in the city. In the IHOP parking lot on Soldiers Field Road super convenient for Allston, Brighton, and Watertown. We get our trees here year after year and have always had a good experience

Marissa: I didn't think I'd ever be leaving a review for a Christmas tree farm, but here we are. We got the worst tree we've ever had in over 15 years. I'm talking worse than our Home Depot buys when we first started putting up a tree. It was crunchy and dropping needles within 3 days of going up, when we assured they were "cut fresh". I contemplated bringing it back, but at that point, you've done all the hard work of transporting and putting it up. For what it's worth, it was also the most expensive tree we've ever purchased ($140 for 9ft) which makes it that much more painful. I'm sitting here on 12/23, looking at bare branches that have fallen, also a first. I've never in my life seen a tree literally wilt before my eyes. I had to put fake presents under the tree to hold up the branches, wild!! I would ask the owners to be selective with your vendors if these weren't your own trees, be honest about when they arrived and really consider if the pricing matches the product. I know it was an off year for trees, but man, it's disappointing to put in all this work and effort and not get even 2 weeks out of it.

Jen: The staff are very friendly and helpful, they even secured the tree to the top of our car for us! The prices seemed comparable to other farms in the area but they were the only ones who put the prices on their website, which is helpful. Be sure to bring cash, no credit or debit accepted for the trees. Would definitely go back again.
Riven Hart: Very cute with a great selection off about 5/6 ft to about 12ft. Everyone is friendly, including the wondering dogs. Free coco and candy canes!
Jennifer Banks: The trees were okay, the barn is picturesque, but we had bad luck with our experience there. There is almost no parking, which is stressful, on top of the fact that the crowded parking lot is where they had the table with hot chocolate and candy canes. (Edited to clarify that these are free, but the table is right in the parking lot area.) So if you are driving, people (kids) are darting out in front of you, and if you are trying to have some cocoa, you have nowhere to wait to get it except in the path of cars. Also, it was so busy we got no help loading our tree on the car. I was disappointed given the high online reviews.

Christianne McKinnon: I was deciding between this place and another that hasn’t sprayed for years. Mistletoe looked cute and fun and were on a list for minimizes pesticide use. I called to check when they last sprayed and they asked why I wanted to know- I explained and he rudely explained everyone sprays, etc etc. I finally asked if there was a reason they couldn’t just tell me when they last sprayed. He said it’d be summer and then abruptly hung up. I typically try not to leave bad reviews, but to be treated so badly and having to explain myself for just asking a questions as really disappointing
Jenna Vanessa: We had a wonderful first experience here. Easy & accessible parking. The moment you first walk into the barn you are instantly hit with that perfect nostalgic Christmas tree smell. Their selection of trees was the best I have seen in YEARS at any Christmas tree farm. The trees were trimmed and cut to perfection, full of branches and just beautiful healthy trees with so much variety to choose from. Outside of the barn they had a bonfire, free hot chocolate & candy canes with awesome Christmas music. A bonus was all the cute doggies walking around with their Christmas bandanas. And last but not least the staff was amazing! All the high school kids were so hardworking and helpful. They definitely made our experience great! We will most definitely be back next year.

D S: Adorable farm. Makes you feel like you’re in a hallmark Christmas movie. The owner and staff were all super friendly. We just had a baby and he gifted us with a free ornament for the baby which was so sweet. They have free hot chocolate and candy canes by a fire pit. The whole experience is very laid back and fun. Such a memorable experience. Thank you!

Vanessa Keys: This is my second year getting a tree from Christmas Trees in the Mail. The process for ordering, shipping, tracking and delivery is seamless. It's great being able to select a two-day window for delivery, and to be able to track exactly when the tree will arrive via Fed Ex. This year I added a saw to the order because when the tree arrives, there are directions that you need to cut off a section of the trunk so that the tree absorbs water. This made a big difference so I highly recommend! The tree was 6' as promised as well but my only complaint is that the bottom of the tree is very sparse on all sides- I tried my best to hide the bald spots with ornaments, but I have seen trees much more full in the past, unfortunately. But overall, I definitely recommend - it saved me from having to carry a tree down the streets of NYC which is huge!

Tree is SO healthy, SO full, with such a wonderful fresh pine smell.
