Parsnip Restaurant: what do users think?
Christel Hayes: It's not a restaurant per se anymore it's a rentable event / workspace very nice with bar and kitchen available for use
Christopher V: Candle lit atmosphere and good service. The food was good but I don't think it justified the price. This seems more of a place to bring the parents than a group of friends specially if they are paying.
Joshua Marantz: Brussels sprouts app was sensational
Elizabeth Norton: I get the sense that this restaurant can deliver excellence, but the short rib dish I had was so cloyingly sweet from top to bottom that I couldn't rate it higher.
Nathan Higginson-Scott: Food was amazing!
Monica Renaud: Starting with coat room the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We attended a company holiday event in the beautiful lounge. The food was lovely to look at and even better to eat.I have now also enjoyed the Parsnip for my birthday. It was a lovely experience, near the fireplace and their decorated tree. Love it!
Ed Cabellon: Fantastic food and ambiance!
Jesse McNamara: Food and service were amazing!
Shawn Martin: We had every course (appetizer, salad, meal and dessert) and each one was nicely prepared with top-notch ingredients. Drinks were fairly priced and the staff was super attentive and on their heels throughout service. Great vibe - will definitely come around again when I'm in the area.
Rohini Narayanaswamy: We went on a Monday night and there were very few people at the restaurant overall.Food was good and great ambiance. Cocktails were fun.Service could have been better. It was a slow day for them and I was hoping for faster and more thoughtful service. But I come back again another day.
Philip Jacob: Holy cow, this place has gone downhill. I haven’t been in a few years, but Parsnip used to be a refined restaurant that served high end (for Cambridge) food, cocktails and wines. My wife and I were both very disappointed with our experience this evening. I ordered a cocktail: vodka, cucumber and St Elder were the main ingredients. Honestly, this is a hard combination to make undrinkable... but they managed. I sent it back once because it really seemed they had forgotten the St Elder, but their attempt at improving the drink did not yield better results. They offered to remake the cocktail from scratch did improve either. The food was on par with the cocktail, unfortunately. I ordered the Korean lettuce wraps for an appetizer... sounded good on the menu, but it was a DIY affair when it was delivered. Like, here are the ingredients, just assemble it yourself. And the ingredients were not particularly good either. My wife had a similar disappointing experience with her appetizer. The mains... oversized, unrefined, just pretty bad overall. If I got stuck in a Hilton in Ohio and was served food like this, I’d actually be relieved. But this is so terribly sub-par compared to what Parsnip used to me and to the previous restaurant it took the space from that I was really bummed to waste an evening there.Naturally, we won’t go back.
Thomas Chen: Small-plate focused menu with global influences. Ordered several small plates from the menu (mussels, lamb lollipops, fried oysters, and artichoke and arugula salad). Only ask is for punchier sauce on oyster. Other than that, all excellent! Had also a pleasing amuse of apricots.) Duck confit was a good surprise with the addition of liver; delicious and satisfying for even the liver hater in me. Interesting dish of sisig from the chef's background; a touch salty but fun and tasty exploration of another food culture. Ended with well balanced salted caramel mousse.
James Buzard: Did not have its act together tonight. There was no one at the reception table when we walked in; two people passed by and said someone would be with us soon. Then a third person, a waiter, checked us in, but without asking if we had a reservation (we did; it was for our anniversary, and I had said so in making the booking). We sat down. Eventually someone gave us water, and asked if we were only two (we were at a four-top). He said our waiter would be by “in a few minutes.” The whole vibe was off. Nobody greeted us properly, especially for an anniversary reservation. Staff people kept walking across the room without checking on anyone’s tables; there was no bartender behind the bar. Eventually the same guy who had checked us in showed up as our waiter. He seemed nervous. I asked him if everything was okay in the restaurant and he said they were a little understaffed. We decided to leave rather than to pay their prices.
Kit Parker: Fantastic appetizers. Great main courses. Prime location in Harvard Square
Kitsap View: when we went it was a quite place for dinner, an attentive staff with out being intrusive, the menus options are pretty good a vegetarian should have no problem here, vegans could eat here, but the meats and fish were great. the food is a quality item so expect to pay $50 per person without drinks.take the chef's tasting, and have the chef mix a series of dishes off the menu sometimes amended and present you a 5 course meal over an hour.
Troy Pfeffer: Unbelievable experience! Went with a large group and was the only vegan. We all ordered the multi course meal so I had no idea what I was going to get. What I got was amazing! The chef made something unique for me and I was the envy of the table. Here are just two of the amazing dishes I got. Can't wait to go back!
Jeffrey Salazar: Amazing food, service, and ambiance!
DanThuy Chu: The location itself is beautiful yet simple. We were able to sit right near the fire place, which is awesome for a cold night. Both my friend and I ordered drinks and the lamb, which was deliciously cooked. Their chocolate toffee cake is delicious! A little on the pricey side but everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs.
Souheil Adra: Location and location are great. The presentation and plating are creative and make for amazing Instagram pictures but the food is ok, nothing phenomenal or memorable, flavors are bland and portions are small.
Bradford Clem: Just not worth it. Staff were nice but had no knowledge of the menu and bar, and really just no knowledge of food and liqueur in general. Even tableside manner and lack of service showed apparent lack of training. I could go on and list at least 20 ways they could improve their service but just know, it's very deficient. Food menu was safe and showed lack of skill. We got a couple small plates and a large with no discernable difference between the two. Its a waste of time to talk about it any longer. It's the kind of place you can't wait to get the bill and leave. My wife put it best that we could have gone to shake shack across the street and give a homeless person a $100 and have had far better night/experience. The view outside was nice.
C Mac: We walked in. Restaurant was half empty. No one greeted us.We asked where should we sit.One guy sitting from the bar said “you can sit anywhere “. We sat and slightly moved the table .When we sat the waiter told us we cannot move the table in a rude way.

HaleemaHaya: Was very delicious.Definitely will come back again)
Chris Saccardi: Great place for brunch! It's cozy and nicely decorated, and the service is very friendly. The food is delicious and quite unusual if you haven't had Turkish food. A hidden gem.
Sarah Fletcher: What we ordered was very good. Several menu items were not available which was a bit frustrating, and was not explained but we didn't ask more about it either. Turkish beer was gone, wine was "light", two of the main entrees were not available. It's a very tiny place, with really cozy front window seats. I'd give it another chance; maybe on a Friday night rather than a Sunday afternoon.
Mohamed Khalifa: Awesome place. The kofta is lit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Abdurrahman Kilic: The man inside is so cold inside with a sullen facial expression like an ice cave and didn't even say hello or welcome, this is because the lady working there greeted him with a smile.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Johnny Khoueiry: Great place for authentic kebabs and Mediterranean food. They have great beer selection.Downside is the desert. The kunafa is not very tasty or authentic.
aydin kayabay: Good food delicious highly recommended
Shivangi Mehta: Comfort food in a small spaceFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Patrick Oleskey: Came in for an early Sat evening dinner and loved it. The server was attentive without hovering and had great recommendations. Baby eggplant app, all the breads, lamb, everything was wonderfully flavored. Finish your meal off with baklava and a Turkish coffee. We'll be back soon.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. Good spot for vegetarian.
Ash: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Paid street parkingMore
John Doe: The food is not tasty, they need to work on taste and spices, there was also an odor not good in the place.I've tasted turkish food many times far more delicious than this place food and much cheaper.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Emily Weeks: Dinner was absolutely incredible! Every aspect from appetizer to dessert was delicious. I highly recommend the baklava
Su Huggett: I have never had Turkish food before. It was yummy and such a quaint place. I love small spaces like that. It makes for better dining as its not too noisey. Loved that the one dish is called Su Borek.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Fakhera Hajri: They bring a bill including 20% tip with out ask me
Summer Wang: A very authentic place that reminds me of the good memories I had during my recent trip to Turkey. It’s a quiet restaurant, but full of flavor and joy. Food was delicious and exotic. Highly recommending to come here for brunch or dinner.
Ramy Abdulazziz: Adana kebab was among the worst I've ever had and for some reason, super thin. The rice also didn't taste good. No spices on anything either. Not sure if they were rushed or this is their normal quality but I won't be ordering again to find out.
Steve: Breakfast indoors was relaxed and the food delicious. I had the "Plate of Turkish Morning" for the sake of variety. It was delicious and reasonably priced considering the quantity and quality. The menu offers plenty of options so you're going to find something to your liking.
Chepkorir Sambu: I love this restaurant. It has such a feel-good air. The Turkish interior is beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the food is delicious. As a tea-lover, I also recommend the Turkish tea here.Oh, and Turkish music is played every so often; sometimes American music is played, but I prefer it when Turkish music is played. It makes one feel as though they are in an ordinary part of Istanbul, where everyday, life is beautiful, and life is life.I just like the ambience here. It's my peaceful, lovely retreat.

Mediterranean Grill: what do users think?
saurav uprety: Food was good but the lady at the counter was very rude. She said to my face that cannot dine in inside just because I ordered a takeout. This is not how one should treat your customer.
Tony Salehi: $$Another fantastic night at Mediteranian Grill in Cambridge. The food was awesome, as usual. Highly recommend it for persian cuisine. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Rain K: I love Persian food and I have so many reasons to love this restaurant. Hear me out as I explain as a non-Persian diner (1) Their Ash reshteh, which is hard to come by, is yummy, comforting and very filling. (2) All of the kebabs and the meat are flavourful. Even something simple as a grilled chicken is beautifully seasoned. (3) They offer freshly brewed black tea and it’s delicious!!! Do yourself a favour and order it after your meal. (4) There’s Persian ice cream on the menu it’s delightful especially because of the rose & saffron flavour. Lots of pistachios on the outside & inside add texture. (5) There’s tahdig in the appetizer section. (6) Their baklava is fresh and crispy properly made with pistachios (not walnut!)
