ImprovBoston: what do users think?
Laura Love: This was such a blast! Can't wait to go again!
Mary Sullivan: Great classes, friendly people, hilarious instructors.
Kayleigh Shuler: Showed up for an intro to improv class (April 2022). No one answered the door and no phone number to call, so we left. Very disappointing :(
Elizabeth: Great venue and organization. The staff clearly like what they do. I've only been to shows here prior to COVID, but a friend has also taken an improv class here before and highly recommended it. Hope they are able to bounce back easily after COVID.
Simone Stivi: The new comedy school manager is very rude and unprofessional. If you’re a working professional don’t bother trying to enroll in classes. These classes are for full time students only. If any unforeseen events come up and you’re unable to attend a class they are terrible at putting you in for make up classes and then refuse to work with you after you’ve missed two classes. Waste of money.
Diane Kaye: We went to the New Years Eve family show at 4PM on the 31st. It was beyond bad. It was abysmal. Improve Boston should be embarrassed and ashamed. Simply dreadful. It was dark (and it was a kids show) and there was no talent. Please don’t make me pay and travel to Cambridge for an entirely amateur show.
Mike: Really fun venue to spend the night with friends and family. Our group went here for a bday and we all had a blast. The show was hilarious, engaging, and overall just a bunch of fun and laughter. The small bar and snacks available were great (beer, wine, chips, m&m’s, etc) and the performance was wasn’t too long or short in length; it was just right. I highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for something fun to do in town, either for the whole family or a night out with friends (all ages friendly).
Martina: Ive seen second city live in chicago and boston improv is even better!!!! Love & recommend 3
Sally Walker: Great little comedy spot!
Marshall Versteeg: I usually get nervous that improv performers will mess up but I never felt that here. We saw their mainstage performance and it was fantastic! Plus the cheap drinks makes this a great night out.
Yuval Rykaczewski: Tonight I paid $18 to see a Trump supporter get kicked out of a mediocre impov show simply for voicing his opinion, and then for cruel jokes to be made about him and his family. I will never be returning to Improv Boston. Talk about safe spaces, I thought Improv Boston would be one, but sadly, it was not. Props to the man who stood up for what he believed in. I did, too, when I walked out of the show early. If only I could get a refund for my wasted time and discomfort.
Eric J Hepler: UPDATE: This location no longer possesses a foul odor.
Maddy Shiel: Went to the Halloween space Odyssey "Gore fest" on Saturday night. Paid SIXTY dollars for two tickets. Biggest waste of money of my entire life. This should be more accurately called "5th grade Halloween musical." The whole thing was basically just weird singing. Didn't laugh/couldn't even bring myself to chuckle even a single time. I know comedy is subjective but I couldn't even see from any view point how this was supposed to be funny. So bad. Would have left halfway through except we weren't allowed to leave after it started. 0 out of 5 stars. Wish I could get my money back.
Reda B.: Amazing experience for improv show on Sundays at 6:30… for only 5$. Great team that interact with the public and make them participate. It s funny !
Hagai Lerer: Upclose and intimate. We had lots of laughs! Beer and snack available for purchase.
Jenny Xu: Really great experience here with my friend during a Mainstage for the first time — the actors were hilarious and they were extremely good at engaging the audience in the skits and making sure that people had some voice in what the next act would be. Had me laughing out loud a lot and I didn’t expect much but this place blew me away! Would recommend as a night out with friends.
bruce r: The least funny.
c w: Sunday night stand up
Gabby Perez: Awesome improve show. Will be back soon.
Michael Manak: Battle Royale last night was brilliant layered hard chop cuts of real just what we all need to hear for a good laugh! Thank you!
Debra Falzoi: Proud of a theater that can take a stand against exclusion

H G-C: Amazing vibes and great turnout for comics. First time going and am really bummed to hear they're moving to the Harvard from Union Sq.
Joshua McCauley: The comics were fantastic and that was even before I started drinking. I really appreciated seeing local comics, new and established, doing great work.
Mark Grabowski: Terrible comedians
John St. Amand: The best
Richard Lyons: Always a good time and every night is jam packed with comedians who take it to another level. A stress reliever indeed.
Belinda Post: Christopher is hilarious
Cindi Sakuta: The comedians were funny. The bartender did a great job!
Suramya Sivarajan: It was my first time ever in a comedy show and I really enjoyed it. I liked that each star only had a few mins so you get to enjoy a variety of acts. I would say I enjoyed every 4/5 acts. Nice crowd, beautiful bar in the front. the cocktails were yummy but not strong. Laughed a lot and enjoyed the company whats not to like. would go again!
Jeremy Gartland: Came here for the first time and really enjoyed it, laughed, groaned, had a bunch of drinks and all around good time, would recommend.
Anthony Valleau: Great Valentine's day. Host was ok but the comedians were great
Dylan Polin: This place was so fun and really well put together. Not only do they have a bar in front, but a waiter/waitress who walks around during the show and silently gets drink orders. Plus you can legit order ramen noodles!Host is awesome, space and atmosphere is great. Will go back as much as possible

Nick's Comedy Stop: what do users think?
Deanna Hannan: Not a big fan, jokes were too vulgar and just not funny in any way. Things have changed...
naruto uzumaki: They will pay comics in cocaine! 3
James Stewart Jr: No parking, no food, 3 of the 4 comics were pretty funny. Security at the door searches everybody coming in, I assume so you don't bring in your own liquor
Patti McDaniel: They need to turn there heat on and the floors were very sticky .
Amit Schechter: The venue was weird (we were sitting in a very uncomfortable angle to the stage - on the side almost behind it). Security was somewhat uncomfortable and aggressive.
Alec Chin: weird spot- you shouldn’t have to be asked at the door (after u are thoroughly patted down by a bouncer) if you’re looking for the comedy club.FREEZING INSIDE, empty venue, escorted to the bar immediately after paying. Whole thing just seemed odd
Matt Wilkinson: Odd venue that is a night club after shows (comedians made quite a few jokes about standing at a DJ booth). Comedy is hit or miss, but you get what you pay for and is to be expected at a smaller venue. Bare bones drink selection, though server is great and attentive. Would have given four stars if not for the expired (2 year old) Trulys they are serving.
Patricia Greenberg: Went to Nick's on a Saturday night. Horrible experience. Place was half empty. Bouncer upstairs was forward and rude. The one waitresses was forgetful, slow, and she shorted me on change when i paid my tab.Bartender upstairs made up for it out of his tips. This place is not living up to its name.
T. MR.WILSON (BODHI-SATTVA-SÕĹ): NAMMYOHORENGEKYO
Krystal Fernandes: Absolutely wonderful. The lineup and the final act were all too good. Love it. And the waitress lady is fabulous!
J Phillips: Great place to catch some local comics! They were all great and we had a blast. The waitress is the best!
Steven: Thank you for Billy Boston Red Head Burr
Nidah Khalid: I don’t recommend coming here. We were here for a small show and the bouncer patted my partner down unprompted. The security person was very rude to us and was calling us names. I’ve never experienced anything like this.
James Kuczmiec: The club next wall over was overpowering. The lack luster comedy show
Ameera abu-alsaoud: Hilarious comedians!
Bren Brennan: Great headliner
Michael Porreca: Enjoyed the show and service. Starting comics and headliner were good. Standup at these places isn't guaranteed though, keep expectations in check and enjoy!
Chris Bramble: Hilarious! My first time watching live stand up and it was awesome!
Suzette Randall: Great show
Alvin Perez: A little funny
Alex Walkowski: Bare bones comedy venue in a nightclub space. Drinks were a fair price, bit expensive ($10 for well) and other than a few tables the seating was mainly folded seats in a pit area. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Show itself was a bit of a bust, which was disappointing.

Improv Asylum: what do users think?
James Washer: This was recommended to us by multiple sources, however didn’t really live up to the hype. The cast are all very talented, however a lot of the show seemed to be pre-rehearsed with multiple skits etc, which is not the improv we came to see.
Maddie Archer: A 100% must visit while in Boston! The show we went to was so much fun we ended up coming back for the midnight “raunchy” show as well. Such a great night out with friends, definitely recommend.
Anushka: Amazing show!!! Solid improvisation. I liked it and that the audience was involved in the performance. My husband and I enjoyed it immensely, cool jokes, we laughed heartily. Definitely recommended to everyone. Don't miss this show- this is a brilliant !!!
Ian Dunbar: Phenomenonal time, highly recommended if you get the chance. Just make sure to lean into it.
Karen Nakitende: We didn’t know what we were going in for but up to now we still laugh at the jokes. 10/10 highly recommend
Brian Hoffman: Been several times. Always a fun experience. Great place to bring out of town visitors.
Tim Asinger: The show was great, very original and high energy
Kate Rodgers: We had the best time here!! Caught a Sunday night show and it was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone 👏🏼
Laura Love: We loved the late night show (Raunch!). It was our first time, and we cannot wait to go again. The cast was hilarious!
Eco S: I thought the show was pretty mediocre. They didn’t use the crowd suggestions to the fullest and the actors weren’t that good. Each skit got cut off before it could even get good. It felt like a high school performance.
Deborah “Debbi Lee” Flagg: First timers. So much fun! Would recommend and return! Great job!
Robbie Ashton: Shows sell out multiple times a week, and for good reason; easily the best comedy in Boston
Alex Drake (Adrake1234): Very funny show in the North end great day to end the night!
Gustavo Herrera: Funny! I wasn't expecting it to be so fun and engaging. The place is in the basement of a building in the North End, a little bit small, which is what makes it more engaging. There is a full bar on premise so you can get hammered before the show starts, it makes it even more fun and funnier. Highly recommended!
Keke Butterfield: I had a few safety concerns. One way in and one way out. The world is crazy and I need to feel like I have options. Chaotic inside with no one to tell you where a line starts or ends. The bar seemed pretty sufficient.
Derek Shaw: So much entertainment, so funny, and truly just an all around great time!!!!
Victor Robinson: Was a lot of fun. Took my 16 year old daughter and her friends. Lots of laughs.
Jason Burke: Meh. Not saying improv is easy, it’s not. And I do think a lot of these people were witty and good actors on the spot. But the material was extremely bland and TikTok-ey. But I guess that’s also the audience in Boston? Can’t kill ‘em for it hence the 3/5, but if you’re interested in comedy in the form of Tim Dillon, Nick Mullen, Shane Gillis, Tom Segura, old Howard Stern etc (that brand of humor that pushes buttons), I don’t think you’ll enjoy this show. If you're into comedy from former theater kids, you’ll love this show.
Danijela L: Crowd pleasing sketch comedy spot for late night weekend entertainment.
Chris Femino: Funny and personable.
Peter Bacchiocchi: Great show, lot's of fun
