Arlington Community Orchard: what do users think?
Scott Goldstein: Nice hidden gem in town. So often you see natural spaces that get torn down to become industrial. It is not often you see parking lots transformed into a public community orchard like this. Well done.I have never picked any fruit or veggies from here, but it's a nice destination to pop off and see when walking on the Minuteman Bike Trail.
Ingrid Hartman: Amazingly beautiful and abundant garden - free for all to enjoy! Highly recommend coming here on a summer day to see what is growing, or to have a nice picnic. You can even harvest some fruit or herbs!Created and lovingly maintained by an Arlington local to serve the community. It’s a testament to the difference a single person can make when they want to manifest a vision of gratitude and abundance for everyone around them.
Aneil Tripathy: Beautiful community space
Christina Harrison: I am so happy to learn that this place exists for the community to share. I spent some time there yesterday and I saw several families come and enjoy the space. One woman came up to me and said that she was really happy to learn that anyone could come and pick berries, fresh herbs, and other fruits. We took a moment to be happy together. :)
Joy Powers: I absolutely love the Arlington Orchard. I come here frequently to look at the beautiful plants, harvest herbs, or just sit at one of the picnic tables with my dog. I’ve made the best iced tea from the abundant mountain mint that they grow here! Truly one of Arlington’s most sparkling hidden gems.
Ben Barkan: Awesome space with a great selection of fruit trees. All the fruit is free for all to harvest.
