Spindler Confections: what do users think?
Zara Sofia Parra Gonzalez: Wow ! The service, the flavor, the decor ….. wow im speechless 🖤
Dan Hegsted: That is really fine candies sold by very kind people. It was a pleasure to shop there but a greater delight after we got in the car and began to enjoy the fine craftsmanship.
Gina: So many good treats. And there’s a woman who works the counter that is so delightful and passionate about the products who was very helpful. I tried their brittle and a few different nut butter cups and they were delish.
Tom Atkinson: The highest quality of indulgences curated (and created!) by a kind and passionate proprietor. Take time to enjoy the museum quality antiques that line the walls, and check out the other high end shops on this amazing block. More than just a store, Spindler’s is an experience!
Logan Mancuso: Friendly owners, excellent products!
Manas Purohit: I get chocolates from here every holiday season and they never disappoint. I always get the bon bon boxes and they are expensive but the variety and deliciousness of the chocolates always puts a smile on everyone’s face
H G-C: Good place to purchase classy and delicious candy made in-house.
Sunessa “Sunny” Schettler: Wonderful little shop. Unique collection of handmade chocolates and locally produced sweets for gifts, stockpiling, and support of small businesses with integrity.
Nicholas Barris: The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the chocolate was delicious! Also I was shocked by the amount of dairy free options.
R J Philpott: Wonderful shop of specialty confections & gifts! Friendly staff were so kind to my sister & I, even staying open a bit late to let us shop! The chocolates & caramels are divine, btw. I love this charming store; full of wonderful items to indulge in & to gift to deserving friends!
Michael Reekie: THEY ARE BACK!Munching on a dark chocolate peanut butter cup as only spindler makes them as I write this.
Gloria Ha: These chocolates are delicious!! I especially loved the passionfruit and lemon. Simply exquisite.
B B: I'm so sorry, but this is the worst tasting candy I've ever had.
J Geise: Huge holiday hit!
Austin Hughes: Wonderful little shop. Bought a bunch of gifts for friends and family and they look delicious. Online ordering and pickup were quick and easy.
Laura Houlette: Delicious, beautifully crafted chocolates and other sweets. The salted maple and the apple cider caramels offer a nice taste of Massachusetts, if you're looking for gifts for people out of state!
Lori Rivera Fine Art: Awesome candies. The salted caramels are my favorite!
EJ Ciramella: Buy chocolates, take a class, get educated - fantastic store and ultra knowledgeable owner. Go now.
Lan Alexander: Delicious handmade chocolates in super cute packaging! The owner is super nice and very knowledgeable. I can’t wait to take the chocolate making class with my husband.I would definitely recommend this shop!!
Cristina Logg: Best chocolate and caramels in the Boston area!!
radha raghuraman: Lovely chocolate boutique with very warm and friendly staff. Jeremy will make you feel at home. His lavender filled dark chocolate pieces are one of a kind and a must-try!

Praliné French Patisserie: what do users think?
AndreEugenie Vasseur: Got the lemon tarte, it was for the lack of a better term watery , and missed that slightly creamy quality. The macarons were really, really disappointing. Nice packaging, but honestly probably the worst macarons we've ever had. Taste and texture both failed.
Natalia Preciado: Clean space, friendly staff. Nice desserts. Coffee was okay. Good collection of teas
Can Inci: Really nice place to take a break. The coffee was excellent, the butter croissant delicious, and the hazelnut cake was excellent. The portions were ideal. I was full but not overwhelmed. Friendly service and nice interior.
Francesca Gordini: It hits the spot! Finally a place that sells pastries (both sweet and savory), tarts and wonderful sweets in the classical French/European style. The savory choice is wonderful and it's what makes me give them a 5 star review. Prices are reasonable and the food is really good, so is their coffee!
Crystal Rene Burney: This place is such a hidden gem. I love a good, authentic croissant and this place delivers. The staff is efficient and kind and the shop itself is never crowded. It’s a perfect spot to read over a cappuccino.
Frankie Frankie: Hallelujah! Finally a venue that sells pastries both savory and sweet, tartes and all the fine kind of delicatessen typical of European/French cafes! Music isn't too loud nor overwhelming. Great place for an afternoon tea and a conversation with a friend or to read a book. The selection of pastries is marvelous!
Ian: Excellent coffee and breakfast at a reasonable price
Jeff Curtis: This French bakery is just below the Sonder Hotel and is a delicious way to start the morning off right. I had the chocolate almond croissant and it was incredibly flakey with rich dark chocolate chunks. Goes great with an espresso. There is also a wide assortment of other classical French pastries and sandwich options. There is always a steady flow of customers through the door and seating is limited.
Jarvis Chen: Absolutely lovely bakery in Central Square! Great pastries with a wonderful variety. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. For their customer service alone, they deserve 5 stars, but the pastries are also excellent. A bit of a hidden gem, but worth exploring for
Robo Cob: Pretty good but for Cambridge there are better options
Howard Phillips: Very authentic and meticulously prepared food. Wonderful service too.
Nick ohneName: Top Quality. 👍🏾😃
Jake McClanahan: Stayed in a hotel near here so stopped through for coffee and a quick breakfast one morning. Our food was delicious (I had the ham and cheese croissant with bechamel and my wife got the bunroll salmon), and didn't cost as much as I was expecting (8-10). The pastries were honestly difficult to choose between because everything looked fantastic. In the end we got macaroons and both agreed they were done of the best we've had. Will be coming back if we get the chance.
Sean: Happened to be walking by, good stuff, but it's no Colette.
Antoni Abella Vendrell: Not only tastiness is all over the menu, the staff were extremely kind. Even though the kitchen was closed, the assistant offered to make a delicious serrano sandwich for my wife, who really appreciated it and proceeded to devour it. Nice coffee, great pastries and patisserie. Must try!
Craig Cameron: The staff is very polite. All the pastries are made fresh daily and are SO delicious!!
Emilie DUVALLET: We got the chocolat and caramel tart for 4. The thing was Soo small, no way you can feed 4 people on it, maximum 2. We had as well the Paris-Brest the chou was very tough, either over baked or not fresh. And for the cream it is a shame that with a bakery called Praline, the cream barely tasted like it. Finally, it was super expensive I am not sure it was worth the price
Laura Lotfi: I love their patisserie it makes you feel a small bite of france,!
Amal Mohamed: Highly Recommended, best place for having your breakfast 🍳 and branch, the most amazing Cortado I had ever, they used the best coffee beans George coffee beans
Rene Adaimi: Best croissant in the Boston area.
Nas Nasro: The first weeks after they opened, their Macarons were tender and tasty. I returned everytime I went to Boston. However, I went there a few months ago, and purchased $100 worth of Macarons, for them to be hard and dry. They were selling days old Macarons. I returned a few days later and purchased a pastry and a couple of Macarons with my cappuccino. The Macarons were again hard and dry. I told the employees about it, but they were just trying to tell me that's how they are. I asked them to try one and see how hard and dry they are... They didn't want to. I was already bummed that I ended up throwing the majority of the $100 Macarons, but even trying to show them their crunchy and dry macarons in front of them, they just brushed it off... Thank you, but no thank you. Worst part, is that a few of my family and friends who got had and dry macarons didn't even warn the place, they just didn't go back.

L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates: what do users think?
Lynn Piers: Excellent shop, amazing chocolate. Super friendly customer service. Don't miss shopping here.❤️
Poojitha Shetty: This place has "The BEST Hot Chocolate" period. It's just perfect!Love the Burdick cookie as well.
Fatma Dahmani: Overrated and overpriced. The quality of the chocolate is very average and we’ve had much better chocolate elsewhere for half that price.
Aude-Marie Alem: You can't get wrong, just go!
Zachary L. Zavidé (Zack): Interesting decor, a homage to continental design but the Mocha was too sweet.
Kevin Zhou: LA Burdick, a chocolate haven divineA place where sweetness is always in line. The cozy decor is hard to ignore,And the staff's warmth is hard to deplore.Their coffee's aroma lures you in,And the chocolate animals make you grin.Lambs, penguins, and mice so sweet,It's hard to pick which one to eat.Oh, how I wish LA Burdick was here,So we could indulge in chocolate cheer. Alas, it's not in LA with me,But my memory of it shall always be.For anyone visiting its cozy nook,LA Burdick's sweets will have you hooked.A chocolate wonderland like no other,A place to indulge and savor each flavor.5 stars for vibe, staff, and food.
Jesse Tordoff: A happy and delicious place!
Kai-yan Lee: Always the best hot chocolate!!
Kevin Barhydt: Again and again we return to L.A. Burdick and are amazed.Got lucky this time. The district manager happened to be in the shop and guided us to some really fun chocolate covered citrus, apricot and mango. Beyond good!Teas and snacks were delicious, and I enjoyed an amazing gluten free baked dessert.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amanda Kilburn: I still gave it a 3 because we’ve had better in the past, but I was super disappointed when I took a giant bite of a very burnt, hard as a rock cookie.. for the price it was extra sad.
Spencer Carpenter: Amazing experience
ilknur yalazan: The best chocolate I’ve ever had. It’s a great gift for special days. We love it!
Taísa Ilana Moura: Caramel latte o melhor. Lugar bem pequeno, mas com um café maravilhoso e um ótimo croissant
October Black: Delicious sipping chocolate and assorted chocolates. I have a gluten intolerance and did not have a reaction
TONY MUCI MATTA: Un buen café en este sitio culminó nuestra jornada del día!Recomendado
Trevor: Expensive, but great
Rashmi: Had hot chocolate with milk and it tasted amazing. It's not the chocolate powder in milk version, instead it's melted chocolate which is why I believe it tasted great. I would love to visit the place again to try other items on the menu. The place was a little crowded when I visited, but I can see why!
Ethan Schultz: Wonderful hot chocolate and cozy vibe
pranitha r: The last pic is the recent one. Seems like they lost their touch for the hot chocolate drink? The last 3 times i tried dark chocolate drink was not the same as before. I have been to this place once in a week from past 2 years but highly disappointed from the last 3 times.
RIYA PAREKH: Looks like they have their own recipe for hot chocolate & I am all for it!! The ginger bread was good too! Would go again!
Savan Visalpara: Their signature hot chocolate was one of the best we have ever had.

Flour Bakery + Cafe: what do users think?
Captain Space: Great place for coffee and food and hi speed internet.
pluksaa chueayoonan: Yummy yummy
Samir Sen: Good range and variety of tasty cakes. Reasonably priced.
Peggy Acker: Great sandwich and pastry!
Patty Goodman Hayward: Tasty avocado toast, salads, and cookies
James Barna: Everything is great here
paula gaete: Love this place
Gopal Chopra: Super tasty sweets, copy hideaway and the occasional vegan muffin to die for
la. nskey: This was a vibrant bakery and clearly a popular choice in the area. The staff were friendly and the coffee was quite decent although you have to get there early if you need a quick turnaround. We waited over 10minutes after ordering a coffee to go. It was suggested I try the sticky bun, which I found the pastry itself to be very dry but the huge amount of sticky toffee topping on top definitely helped!
Eva Jellison: Always a home run! Love trying their seasonal and holiday offerings. Hot cross buns were delicious.
Juan Manuel Bermúdez Fernández: Buen ambiente
Govinda Raut: Great place. Excellent service.
Jennifer Liang: Delicious sticky bun!
Bettina Asche-Matthey: Avocado toast for breakfast. The best start in a new day you can imagine.
Momo Tran: The chocolate chip cookies here are absolutely delicious and one of the best in the area. I would come back to try other pastries!
Scott Brenham: Could not compete with other local bakeries especially bread bakeries. You could revamp the business.
Shirley Mulford (Shirl): Delectable!
Jennifer Miller: Nice, cozy place. Friendly staff. Small selection of GF goodies but the were yummy!
Rafael Gonzales: Sticky Bun was worth it. Also had cinnamon roll which was good as well. The chocolate brioche was a little rich for me but the other three in my family loved it. So it had to be good. I’m just not really a chocolate guy. Definitely visit if you need a coffee and pastry.
Lydia Chew: I grabbed a roasted sweet potato sandwich. It actually wasn't at all what I was expecting - the apple slices and the sauce are reminiscent of spring/summer, while roasted sweet potato is typically a fall/winter item (plus, it's chilly outside). That being said, the combination was still tasty. I also love that it's a local cafe owned by an Asian American woman. I'm happy to support and will definitely be back!I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a photo before diving in, so this is one-half (the bigger half) of my sandwich.

Sarita Nori: EH chocolates is my new favorite place for handmade chocolates!!!! Will be buying choc gifts from here for a long time!
Leah Klein: The most perfect chocolate you will find just about anywhere. The chocolate they use is so smooth and their bonbons and confections are creative and perfect versions of anything you can imagine: just think of your favourite candy bar, ball game snack, caramel confection, peanut butter disk - this will be the best version you have ever had.
Michael Nathan: I am repeatedly astonished at how good EH chocolates are. I would list all my favorites but there are too many! That being said, the pecan caramel clusters are particularly universally liked in my family.
Kristina Brunelle: There are, quite simply, no chocolates out there that can compare to EHChocolatier's chocolates. I frequently give them as "thank you's" to personal and professional contacts and I frequently get effusive missives back, thanking me in return for the glorious chocolates! Try them - you will be delighted!
Michele Anderson: I live in New Jersey but only order chocolate from EH Chicolatier. Love their chocolate there is no better. It’s always fresh and made with love
Agathia Wright: Most delicious and beautifully presented chocolate! Would definitely recommend 🙌🙌

Royal Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Cambria Russell: The staff are kind and happy to answer questions. Lots of yummy options!
Celeste De Palma: Secretly holds some of the best cannoli in town. Dare I say, it comes second to Modern's? Yup! Modern's Royal's Bova's Mike's.Oh, but this little bakery has THE BEST Boston creme pie of all of Greater Boston. Unparalleled, hands down. This is one of my all time favorite pastries shop. Another neighborhood gem 💎 ✨️ 👌
George Moore: Was walking by with my wife considering purchasing something but you can see a mouse running around on the floor behind the counter. Eww. Skip this place until they fix their health code issues.
Rosalie Lynne: We always get my mom a birthday cake here every year, and it's always great. Friendly service and wonderful pastries.
Gwen Sregnier: Yum yum cannot go here too often or you should.
Diane Bartholomew: I travel 30 minutes to get pastries from this place, and there are plenty of pastry shops where I live. Need I say more!
Tekie Anday: Good Italian pastry. The flavors are amazing as well. Few things they need to consider: the hours of operation need to be extended so that people can catch them after work hours. The menu needs to be flexible for customers to order their choice flavor at the size of their party. Some flavors aren't available unless you oder them bigger in a party of 35 people or over.
Ricky Sánchez (Ricky): Maintaining over the decades good quality and variety
Hayley Barber: I hate to say anything negative about a small, local business but I walk past this place often and, anytime they’re closed, this place is CRAWLING with mice. Please address this infestation for the safety and health of your devoted customers.
Paul Surette: I got two pastries and a soinach & cheese calzone. Was quite good. Small store which keeps prices down.
Simone R.: Amazing!
Joan Amaral: Royal Pastry has the best whipped cream cakes and Italian cookies. Haven't found any that compare to either of these.
Kelly M: They have the pizza, homemade like my aunt makes like our northern Italian family did. The sweet stuff is great, but they do the pizza RIGHT!
Gould Kathy: it was great
Ananda Mishra: Amazing food for the prices. Its a hidden gem in the neighborhood.
Harry Gordon: Excellent authentic Italian bakery with friendly service
Marcus Böick: Amazing cakes!
Jamie Goodin: Fresh. Very good
sonali srijan: Bought two birthday cakes, the black forest and the strawberry chocolate cake. Both were amazing! The bread wasn’t dry, cream seemed fresh, fruits and the jam between layers went very well overall with the cake. Also loved the fact that it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. Will definitely be my go to place for birthday cakes.
MsStingFan: Great pastries--this shop has been around forever!
Greg Keyser: Best Italian pastry in the Boston area, hands down.
