I recently had a date event with 60 people on board the "Lexington" boat and it was truly amazing. Dayna, and the rest of the team made planning the event very easy and stress-free and the execution on board was flawless. The two-story boat had more than enough space for dining and dancing. And the massive speaker on board, connectable by bluetooth, was very convenient to play our music at a loud volume. Every member of the crew was great as they handled all the responsibilities necessary for us to be able to just enjoy ourselves the whole night. The team is very flexible and accommodating, and also just great, fun people. I highly recommend that everyone interested reaches out and at least begins a dialogue with the team about planning your event, because they really make it so easy, and it is SO fun!

Santosh Verma: Excellent experience. We rented Henry Longfellow on April 15th for my wife's 50th birthday. Our event coordinator Macoy was easy to work with and was available to answer all our questions. She coordinated with the outside catering company to ensure they had everything they needed. Our bartender Carrie and captain Andus were great. With 25 people, the space was perfect. Parking was super easy and inexpensive in the CambridgeSide Mall. This was an ideal way to organize a private party in April in Massachusetts with incredible outdoor scenery and also protection from the elements.

Charles Riverboat took care of most of the details (table linens, flowers, catering, sound system, etc.), so all we needed to do was bring some minor decorations on board and create our own playlist.Everything went smoothly, the guests all enjoyed themselves, and we were able to just enjoy the party! The price was extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend the Charles Riverboat Company for any private events you'd like to make special!

CJ Callahan: Outstanding way to see the fall foliage. We went on October 6th. We should've waited until the next weekend, as the colors were better then. This was a perfect day! It was 64 degrees and sunny, but we still needed a light jacket on the outside deck, so dress for that. All in all, this was better than the Boston Harbor Cruise, because the photo ops were so much closer.

The tour guide was very informative and the sights were spectacular. We got some amazing photos and even got to capture some close up photos of planes landing in Boston airport. William Lopez: It was pretty great! The tour was great we got to take pictures learn about some historic facts about Boston that I personally never knew, and most of all the great sunset! Oh my what a great sunset it was truly everything was great! The only thing that I will say to improve on is when the person who speaks through the microphone, you barely can hear him but it’s most likely because of how much people were talking I couldn’t really hear that much but all in all it was a pretty great tour! There’s also a cafe and a snack bar and I think it was only cash but if you don’t have cash and don’t have a card don’t worry! They have a atm right when you walk into the boat! And also if it is your first time going just like I have the ticket registration is right next to gate C to the left, which I didn’t know until last second! Hope this review helps first timers and just the overall experience that will see if you want to give it a try!

Marc Silverstein: Very disappointed with the New Years Eve cruise. The lines were unorganized for boarding. The boat was overcrowded, but the rain did prevent most people from going on the upper deck. The food was ok at best. Took over 30minutes in line to get drinks at the bar, both times. Over an hour of the cruise lost waiting for drinks. Party was said to have a 20s theme but other than how guest dressed, no effort was made. At least the view of the fireworks was excellent.

Susanne Nielsen: Wonderful sunset cruise of Boston Harbor. Lovely weather day so they didn't have quite enough outdoor seating. It's a nearly half mile walk from the Tea Party to Rowe's Wharf, so be prepared.

The captain was nice and the tour guide was loaded full of Boston knowledge (some might call him wicked smaht.. haha). The crew helped us find a place to charge our cell phones while we sailed. The crew member at the bar was very friendly. The crew thanked us for joining and told us to enjoy our night. Very pleasant staff and fun outing. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A couple of thinks you can improve is the variety of the snacks and the music. It was a radio station with commercials, not great for a full moon night. Maybe instrumental music or romantic to match the night experience.

There were a couple downsides. if you plan on partaking in an adult beverage, keep in mind that the prices are high and it’s cash only. There is an ATM machine on board which will set you back $4.50 per withdrawal. On the upside, the bar staff was friendly and professional. Finally, we sat in the back of the boatand could not hear the narration’ being provided. But none of this should stop you from experiencing this lovely boat ride on Boston Harbor.
