Kassandra handles them beautifully and in four years there’s never once been a problem. At first I was nervous and she happily walked them one at a time until I was confident and ready for her to walk them together.She’s an excellent worker and just about always available to us, even with last minute requests. She was essential in helping us out when our kids were born, being on call to walk and care for the dogs when labor started.Kassandra is respectful and excellent at communication. If we are home, she is remarkably quiet coming into and out of the house. With COVID-19 in play, we talked through the necessary precautions. She comes in and minimizes what she touches, always wearing a mask and hand sanitizing before and after.Overall, we as so glad to have this woman in our lives. He got into the trash while we were at work and ate something moldy and apparently, poisonous, and because she came by to walk him, found him hiding and realized he was sick, she let us know and we were able to get him to the vet quickly (he made a full recovery!)Otherwise, we have him doing walks 3 times a week so he gets socialization with other dogs, and he loves it. He's also so much more willing to sit for a photo with the walkers than with us...maybe they just have the good treats, who knows.

Christina's daily reports on how Magnus did on his walks are detailed and helpful to us. Christina is also super diligent about protecting Magnus during walks in cold weather. Nancy Gold: I require intermittent pet sitting services when travelling and I honestly would not be able to travel were it not for the top quality care my dogs receive from Above and Beyond Pet Services. Each of our two dogs is high needs in their own way. I have a medically fragile older Dachshund, who is 14, a cancer survivor and suffers from multiple allergies. I also have a rescue Beagle who is extremely busy and exuberant, kind of like a giant squirrel. We recently went away for two weeks and the dogs benefitted from SUPERB care provided by Ian, Ray and Elise of Above and Beyond Pet Services. The best thing of all is that we are able to go away knowing that our dogs would get the care they needed and therefore we did not have to worry or be concerned about them! We received daily updates and when there was a question about their food, the office contacted me abroad to make sure everyone had what they needed! I got responses immediately and was super excited. I consider my dog no lesser than my own child and finding someone you can trust is very difficult.Based on the email responses I received and again the reviews I was happy to have finally found someone that would care for my pet well. I was suddenly ghosted and I followed up a couple of times, no response. I have received responses from other dog walking services saying they are full or have put me on waitlist or no response to my initial email at all which is fine. Just not professional to engage someone; talk about walking routes and schedule and ghost them for any reason. Could have been at least said there are no openings now. I wasted 3 weeks in back and forth emails; and could have looked elsewhere.

We have loved APC and the joy our pup has expressed every time any one of APC staff came to the door and the happiness he exudes up on his return speaks volumes. We are so grateful for the quality of service APC provided us over 2+ years they have hiked our pup 2x per week. It has always been such a relief to know how well he is treated and how reliable they are. I also LOVE that they are a cooperative of sincerely dog loving individuals.

Ashley Wilcox: Our chocolate lab puppy absolutely loves her time with APC. She does training walks with Angie and has gotten so much better walking on the leash, paying attention to us, and not jumping quite so much on strangers. She also attends plays groups with another trainer. They take such good care of her! I can tell Bergy has had safe fun at the dog park under APC's watchful eye. When Bergy is little older (and calmer) we hope to have her do hikes. We are also doing one-on-one training with Angie and it was been really helpful for learning about safe dog play, reinforcing training we do on our own, and tackling new problems that arise from a curious puppy. 10/10 would recommend.

Emma Willems: My 2 year old duck tolling retriever Luna has been hiking with APC since she was a few months old and we could not be happier that we found them. In early 2021, we were concerned about setting up a schedule that would ease separation anxiety when we would be returning to the office. Since day one, the APC team has treated Luna as their own. The team is professional and responsive and flexible when we need to adjust Luna’s schedule. Nothing compares to Luna’s happiness when she sees an APC member pick her up for a hike! She comes home happy and tired and in all pictures we receive she has a huge smile. We have also really valued the ability to rely on APC for dog sitting for weekends away—it’s like an extended vacation for her! In short, I cannot recommend APC enough to dog owners!!

We needed to find better ways for our pup to meet his extensive play + social + exercise needs, and Adventure Pups has been absolutely perfect for him and us. It’s so clear to us that his favorite part of the week is getting to go out with any of the Adventure Pups guides — he runs to the door whenever we say “it’s adventure time!” The group worked really hard to find a hiking group that was the right match for his personality and introduced him slowly. Our pup can be a bit anxious or reactive in new environments and the Adventure Pups team had the wisdom to understand what he needed to succeed. We also appreciated the convenience of having our dog picked up and dropped off from his hikes every day. We cannot recommend this group highly enough! You won’t regret working with them!

Ruby Wallau: We love the team at Adventure Pups! We started our puppy with the playgroups and moved him up to the hikes as he got older. He always came home well exercised and happy. Whenever he would see Tessa, Angie, Anne or Matt pull up outside he couldn't stop barking and jumping with excitement. We also had a great experience with their training package, every session was catered to what would work best for our dog specifically and Angie was always prepared with creative and thoughtful solutions. And, bonus, they share adorable photos and videos from hikes and playgroups!

Everyone who works here is a genuinely wonderful person, and totally committed to helping you and your dog (in a non-judgmental way - they get that dogs can be hard!). I've used training, walking, hiking, and playgroups and all the services offered are really excellent. Tessa, Angie, Anne, and Matt will give tips on what they think is best for your dog. My dog loves the people and the adventures, and I'm just so happy I found them. I'll also add that Angie is the best dog trainer I've ever worked with (and I've tried a few places) and things with my pup have improved so much since we started working together.

Zac Cronic-Powell: Adventure Pups walks both of our dogs regularly during the week. One of our dogs has a lot of anxiety and can be reactive while on leash - that's why we initially reached out to Adventure Pups. The team has spent the past 9+ months working with us and our dog using training walks so that he can be more confident out in the world. And the change has been amazing! The AP team spent time training us at the beginning of the process, which has helped us when we walk our dog. They also spent time getting to know our dog and easing him into challenging situations. Now he's at the point where he can go on hikes as if he were any other dog and (mostly) confidently meet people and take walks in our neighborhood! AP has also been instrumental in helping us de-escalate our dog's reaction when he's in stressful situations. He's just so much happier now that he's worked with AP. AP also takes our other dog on hikes during the week. Hike day is the best day because she comes home happy and tired. With both dogs, the AP team is very thoughtful when matching the dogs up with other dogs for their hikes and walks. They work very hard to respect the dogs' personalities and play styles. The team at Adventure Pups is patient, knowledgeable, and communicative. They really meet the dogs (and their owners) where they are. We highly recommend them for anyone with a dog.

I have been lucky enough to have them help train and socialize my pandemic puppy as well as taking first my older dog and then both dogs on wonderful outings. Skye would be picked up right at our front door, and came back EXHAUSTED. Money's worth for the play time, and was a lifesaver during the WFH days. We unfortunately had to move, and have not had any luck finding ANYTHING like this program. Nicole P: I’m really sad to post this because I really liked Stephanie! She took great care of my cats previous but recently she completed stopped responding to me and left me scrambling for a sitter for my special needs cat last minute (like the day before I left). I had texted her to schedule a sitter for Memorial Day 2 months in advance and she responded and confirmed I was on her schedule. However, when I texted to confirm a week before Memorial Day, she read my message and never responded. I texted a few more times and was left on read, then emailed and called. She never responded sadly. Now, a week later, I still haven’t heard back and am so sad and disappointed. Stephanie is amazing and takes great care of our pets but she left us in a horrible position and never reached out to explain.

Melanie H. Figueiredo: I booked Lucky Lucy's for pet care this week, as I'm traveling out of town for work. The owner (Stephanie) confirmed care for my dog, and has now gone dark - and is not responding to my emails for drop off, etc.I'm scrambling trying to find new care on Rover.com and patching together care with the help of generous neighbors and friends before my flight tomorrow. Good times!Stephanie has been really unresponsive in general. Go elsewhere!

Amanda Costa (amc092): We had plans to go away for a weekend and I was nervous about someone caring for our dog because he is basically my baby. He also has separation anxiety so I wanted to make sure I found someone reliable who wouldn’t leave him in distress. I am so glad I found Lucky Lucy’s. He boarded in a sitter’s home (Cass) for the weekend and she took great care of him. I got plenty of updates and pictures via text so I did not have to worry. As a bonus he was super tired when we got home from playing all weekend with the other dogs! I will not hesitate to re-book if we need someone to watch our dog again.

Nicole Porter: An amazing pet sitter! We have three cats and one of them has special needs and requires medication every 8 hours. It was so hard to find someone that would be willing to do that but Stephanie was not only able to do it, but made us feel so comfortable with leaving our cats with her! She is amazing!

Jennifer Yordy: Lucky Lucy's has been caring for our pets for a bit over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the service we've received. When we first started using the service, our dog was in treatment for lymphoma, so she had some special needs. After she passed away we adopted another dog, a husky mix with some behavioral challenges. Greg was absolutely fantastic with both our sick older dog and our exuberant young dog. He has been perfectly reliable, very concscientious in making sure our dogs are safe (ensuring the husky mix was safe and secure after occasional episodes of destructiveness while alone), and very loving and sweet with the dogs. It makes us so happy knowing that he has been there to visit and care for them when we aren't home, and to take them on adventures with other dog friends. We are moving out of the area soon, and the fact that we will no longer be able to use Lucky Lucy's pet care service is one of the only things that makes me sad about an otherwise exciting move.

Josh Wardell: We've been using Lucky Lucy's Pets for walking and in-home dog sitting for about a year now, and we could not be happier! Our dogs are not exactly normal and need a little special care and attention, and we had trouble with other app-based services; we really needed someone who could learn their mannerisms and predict trouble before it occurs. That's the special service you get from a small local company! Chip gives our dog a super long walk twice a week, and I have never seen the dog happier. We had lots of trouble traveling before and now we have someone who we trust to stay at our home and handle our dog responsibly. Lucky Lucy's is a small company with dedicated employees that love what they do. I regularly recommend them to others in the area!

Kim Allen: We’ve been using Lucky Lucy’s for about four years now. We used to use them for our elderly Beagle sonny, who was a super laid back and slow moving elderly man. Sonny saved all of his energy to find gross old food on his walks. All of the walkers were kind and patient with him and were beyond caring when he passed away suddenly.A year later we adopted another beagle named scout. Scout is the polar opposite of sonny in almost every way. Scout couldn’t be any quirkier and just a down right pain in the butt but Bijan has endless patience for him and I don’t know if we would have been able to keep Scout without being able to rely on lucky Lucy’s to walk him. Bijan works with us on any new training methods, gives insightful feedback and has been able to provide scout with socialization that he’s never been able to successfully do. Steven Pritchard: We had a great experience with Lucky Lucy's Pets. We were using Wag but found it to be totally unreliable for daily use so we switched and never looked back. Lucky Lucy's took great care of our German Shepherd puppy and we never had to worry about him while he was home alone. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a walker!

They truly care about their clients and furry friends. The scheduling, billing, and service is outstanding. The online portal makes things so easy, and each walk is followed up by a digital recap (sometimes including adorable photos.) We pay through Venmo, which is incredibly convenient, but traditional payment methods are also accepted. LLP always tries to keep additions and adjustments to your schedule with the same person. If they cannot, they introduce who will be coming and confirm that this is OK.Gina has been walking our buddy Oso consistently since we started. When we travel, he has been able to stay with her, which is so comforting as an owner. She drops us a note if she notices anything out of sorts with him during their time together. I know that Oso is part of Gina's family, and I see that reflected in her care. Oso was in treatment for Heart-worm for a five month period and the team at LLP was accommodating and thoughtful about adjustments to his care and his progress.The on-boarding process was THOROUGH, and others have noted that it takes time to get through this stage due to availability of Stephanie. The necessity of this meeting was trivial at first, but really set the stage for the level of care and thoughtful interactions we now know to expect from them! LLP is a small biz and run with care-first mentality. The standard of care this company provides is HIGH, and as the owner, Stephanie is the one to vet that you and your pet's needs can be met by them. I can promise you that once this step is passed, it's smooth sailing.We are going to miss the excellent care Oso has had once we move across the country. The bar has been set HIGH by Lucky Lucy's. Jennifer Madura: Lucky Lucy's is amazing! When I reached out to Stephanie for an initial consultation for my cat Lucy, she responded and was able to set up an appointment fairly quickly. We agreed to work together and the cat care she and her team provided periodically when I had overnight trips was outstanding. Then, we decided to adopt a sweet puppy and realized we immediately needed some help walking our new baby while we were away. Stephanie and her team were happy to work with us and she assigned us to Greg to care for our puppy. That was almost a year ago and he has been a consistent, reliable dog walker who our puppy has come to trust and love, which means we trust and care for him too. It's not easy to have to leave a fur baby with someone else, but Greg made us feel comfortable and at ease and he feels like an extended part of our family. I highly recommend Lucky Lucy's Pet Care. Stephanie employs reliable, dedicated staff and if Greg is assigned to work with you and your pet, you are super lucky. Aabida Saferali: Unprofessional and unreliable. After some emailing, I scheduled a new client consultation with Stephanie for a weekday morning. She simply did not show up, with no phone call or email and she has not responded to the two messages I left for her. I rearranged my whole day to be home for this meeting, and I now have no pet sitter for my vacation next week. If she can’t be trusted to show up for a face to face meeting, can she be trusted to look after your pets when you are away and unaware of what she is doing?

We've never actually met our dog-walker, but every time I see one of my neighbors I learn that they've seen her, met her, and love her. Prices are very reasonable. Check them out.

Stephanie and her coworkers have taken care of my two cats various times over the past year as I regularly leave town for short stints (1 week - 3 weeks).Stephanie is very easily accessible through email and responds very quickly; she confirms your trip a week or so before so that you can be sure your pets are on her schedule (especially reassuring when you have scheduled visits several months in advance); and whoever visits the pets always sends cute updates with photographs. Stephanie also goes above and beyond by sweeping or wiping up kitty messes.My cats are like my children, and being able to leave them in Lucky Lucy’s hands makes the separation much less anxiety-producing.
