Nabeel Khan: Went to collect my order after class. The place is located in a part of town that has a Caribbean and latin American vibe. The staff were super nice and got my order for take away ready in no time. I loved the plantain chips, the fried fish and the curry chicken. This curry was new for me in terms of spice and flavor compared to a south Asian cuisine. I have another serving left with fried chicken that i shall be enjoying tomorrow as this serving was shared between two people.

A A: Scammed me and gave me old food that’s been sitting on a hot plate. Woman tried to up sell her old food and kept asking me if I wanted more sides. She tricked me in the end by asking me if I wanted some chicken as if she was giving it to me, thankfully I asked how much and she told me 4$ for a chicken leg and a wing that was so old and toasted that I wouldn’t have even taken it for free. I was just trying to be polite. Terrible place, you will get sick and spend a lot of money for dirty old food.

Tesh Pimentel: The food here was incredibly flavorless. I decided to give this place a real shot and so I ordered a variety of different things. Their pollo guisado (stewed chicken), res (stewed beef), baked chicken, chicharrones, rice and beans, guandules, potato salad, moro, and 3 empanadas….. it was mostly all flavorless. Quite disappointing. Not an accurate depiction of Dominican food. There are a good amount of Dominican restaurants in Boston, being Dominican myself, I know how bold and delicious our food is. This wasn’t it. The only thing we ended up eating were the empanadas (which were ok) and a bit of the baked chicken. The baked chicken at least had some flavor, but the actual technique in baking it was an issue. The skin wasn’t rendered enough, and so it wasn’t as crispy and it had a rubbery texture underneath the bit of crust that it managed to form in the oven. Overall I spent almost a hundred bucks and I unfortunately had to toss most of it out. My husband and sister also didn’t like the food and refused to eat it.

Also had their empanadas which were stuffed to the max and perfectly fried. I didn't try it but I love their idea of rice bowls for a Domincan spot. I haven't seen that except with Asian food so props to Las Palmas for the creativity. I have had their food for a catered event too and nothing was left! We all knew it was good. Clean, fair priced, I could go on. I WILL be back!!
