They have tools that help you with everything from calculating your chances of admissions, exploring colleges, and writing essays. They even have live events that cover lots of admissions topics. They really provide a thorough road-map for the entire college planning process.

Xiudong Sun: Their sales person was very knowledgeable about college application. After a phone call, I was immediately sold and signed the contract, somehow believing that was the level of knowledge and expertise they will provide to me. However, at the first meeting/phone call with the advisors, I found both of them to be very inexperienced. One just finished his first year in college and we were his first client. The other, the mentor, was just doing a summer job before she went to graduate school in the fall. After one hour of talk, I found them not knowing more than I did as a parent. In fact, the mentor even said something erroneous. After told that I could not choose more experienced advisors, I decided to cancel the contract. But I already had to pay over 400 dollars. The contract is written in a way that after the first meeting (which is often arranged after the full refund period is over), you will already be ineligible to get full refund. So be careful. It is a blind purchase. You don’t know what you will get. In my case, I wasted more than 400 dollars for an hour of call to find out they are not good.

They were extraordinarily helpful right from college selection to helping with essays as well as navigating tricky college deadlines!! They came through brilliantly and we are simply ecstatic for the overwhelming positive outcomes for our daughter -- she got EA acceptances from both MIT and UChicago! There was so much relief for all of us in December! At first I think I was like any other high school student, I was ready to complete the entire process with out once looking for guidance from a professional.
