Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Cambridge: what do users think?
Andrew Dykeman: Absolutely loved the staff. Room was well setup.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jaclyn Capalbo: The people here were so unbelievably disrespectful. There was a man harassing us all night. Instead of them understanding that a grown man should not be harassing and stalking young girls, they kicked us out. We were quiet and respectful the whole night but a random old man had a vendetta against us starting at 6pm because we were young. We were trying to go to sleep and the front desk called us saying we were evicted. As we were already asleep. They showed us absolutely no respect and we payed so much money. If you’re young don’t come here even if you’re absolutely silent. So much disrespect went on tonight. Now we have nowhere to stay and we’re on the streets of Boston as young girls. They don’t care!
Jas “#”: I don't know why this place has Marriott in its name ! My critique here will probably not do any justice to our hollow "transit camp" like experience at this hotel. But here is a bullet list for you !!- The receptionists at the front desk were pretty crude. Didn't care to even stand up once through the entire checkin process. Didn't tell us about any amenities. Nothing !!- The bathroom sliding door was half off its rails and wouldn't slide. So we had to practically lift it and move to get into the bathroom.- A concealing Panel below the Sink would come off on the slightest touch.- Breakfast is at different times everyday. Get ready to carry a notebook around, you may have to take notes.- They would not let you get breakfast if you are a minute late. Doesn't matter if they have to throw away their entirely massive array of gourmet selection. (Pun intended)- Our keys got disabled after breakfast, I guess they were asking us to leave. When I asked the receptionist why it happened, her response was "you must have done something". So I guess I did the same thing to both our keys. How likely is that ?We were so happy to get out of this depressing place. I feel guilty now, we could have just used Airbnb and donated the extra money we spent to a good cause.
Lisa Sanchez: Home away from home. I've been here four times already and I will continue to come back. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Great location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
양효선: 너무 깨끗하고 넓다. 가성비의 최고의 호텔..4성급인듯보인다.. 하루를 묵는게 아쉬울정도..mit coop. 블루보틀이 바로 옆이다..최상의 컨디션 호텔.강추
Cheryl Smith: Nearby activities: Very close to MIT and Kendell SquareRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Jesse Jacoby: Great location within a few minutes' walking distance to MIT, many phara companies, restaurants, bars, etc. Nicely appointed rooms with small kitchenette including full-size fridge with ice maker, microwave, utensils, dishes, sink, and dishwasher. Decent coffee maker to boot. Rooms were nicely laid out with subtle signs of wear. Nice clean shower, but with wall-mounted liquid soaps that got in the way. Pretty nice and well-equipped gym except for the elliptical which was in desperate need of maintenance. Fairly expensive for what you get, but that's the deal in downtown Cambridge.
Michael Gonzalez: Best hotel if you need a kitchen.Rooms: They have a kitchen.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Susan Sewersky: Our new favorite hotel. Convenient parking and an easy walk to the T
Troy Jones: Always helpful and professional staff, recently remodeled and the larger rooms are perfect for a long stay. New bar downstairs is a great place to unwind!
Mary Ellen Tucker: Rooms: Includes kitchen and sofa. Large size.Walkability: Near Kendall Square. Easy subway to downtown.
Guideaux Badaduchi: The absolute worst service out of any Marriott. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were polite but Jordan M was the most disrespectful person I have ever met. Would never stay here again.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Patrick: Functional hotel in safe area with sub Marriott standard (e.g plastic plates and cutlery during breakfast)
Shashwat P. Baxi: Overall, a very nice hotel in a perfect location in the heart of Cambridge. Anyone looking for long-term stay, should definitely look at this hotel. I was happy with the size of the room, the fitness center, the location, and the complimentary breakfast given the price and the comparative rates in the area. I would absolutely stay here again if I needed a place with a kitchen and wanted to cook my own food.
親父潜水: キッチンや馬鹿でかい冷蔵庫やダイニングテーブルもありますバスタブがあるのが嬉しい窓際のデスクワークスペースも広くゆっくり仕事が出来ます
Eugene Ing: Location was good but upon arrival there was a sewage issue in the lobby that the staff was cleaning out. The lobby stunk and there was raw sewage in a bucket. While I can appreciate that things happen the staff was rude and unapologetic. Apparently another guest who was drinking in the bar area complained about the smell and said their drink should be compensated. The entire staff was fixated on arguing and justifying why this guest was not deserving of a free drink rather than doing the right thing, which seemed very telling about customer service. If you are staying for an evening and assuming nothing goes wrong the place is fine but if something goes wrong I wouldn’t expect anything to be done for you based on this experience.

Gary L. Tucker Jr.: The bathroom door was dirty on the inside along with the door handle. The bathroom light switch had brown dirt on it. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Abdul Alim: We had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Chris Aguilar: The hotel is nice, generally speaking. With public transportation nearby this hotel fit our needs. Clean room, decent bed and bedding. Now the not so good. Price-$300+ per night is exceptional and definitely not worth the accommodation. No pool, sauna, or jacuzzi. The furniture in the room was dated and worn. Will be looking for a different location on our next visit
Gloria Zaw: Noteworthy details: EV car charge is availableComplimentary afternoon social drinks and morning breakfast make you fresh
G Frye: This Homewood Suites was great! We lived near Harvard and Central Square years ago and wanted to revisit. This hotel had so much to offer: free wifi, hot breakfast, laundry room, free parking, and a convenient location near the red line Alewife station (minutes to Harvard and MIT), It’s actually very close to Harvard Square. It’s right off the border of Cambridge and Arlington. There was a gym cross its parking garage, Mass BJJ across the big road, a gas station next to it, The Capital Theatre movie theater within walking distance, and a great restaurant Town Tavern across the theater. They did a great job keeping the breakfast items on the shelves. They also offered free food for Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm. It cost $3 to wash and $3 to dry, which is great compared to packing extra sets of outfits. They did a great job keeping the common areas clean. The staff were very friendly. Definitely highly recommend it for our family and friends.
George Johnson: You pay what you get for. While the rooms were large and cozy and I had a fireplace on the third floor... Every door, every hinge and every step in the building made a creak. Nothing really impressed. Impressive about their breakfast but there was some good amenities like free parking if you have a car.
Sonia Sangha: All employees here were fantastic. My review is not from a people perspective. It’s the actual quality of the hotel. The room with kitchenette I had was extremely dingy, musty and rundown. Not worth the price at all.The rooms in this hotel are in desperate need of a renovation. Very rundown and unattractive. Tattered and discoloured lampshades, dingy lighting, 3, not even 4, mismatched pillows on a bed - pillowcases looked old, broken toaster, tap in washroom leaking water onto counter, fabric shower curtain, I felt uncomfortable in the room and didn’t touch or use anything beyond necessary.Rooms: Very rundown and unattractive. Andrew Swinney: Unfortunately, I have to update my review. The issues of cleanliness I called out in my prior review have only gotten worse. I'll spare the details. Staff was kind to offer to fix it, but frankly, I'm just tired of needing them to fix something each time I visit. I would prefer it to just be right the first time.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Vanessa Aquino: The hotel is well kept and nice decor. Front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it's close to the city, supermarkets and restaurants plus it's in a quiet area. The room was clean and comfortable and everything was in working conditions. The only negative is the floors and walls. If you stay in the 1st and 2nd floor, you can hear the person above you when they walk around the room. I was below a room whose person walked heavy and seem like he/she was jogging around the room till 2am. You could also feel the steps of people walking in the hallway. Unless you're a heavy sleeper, avoid the first two floors. Otherwise, I plan to stay here again but will definitely avoid the bottom floors.
Ben Hur: Good location and good size to stay for 3 adults. Staffs are nice people warm and friendly. The room is a bit old time for refurbishment. Overall I'm satisfied.Nearby activities: Nearby to shopping for almost everything including restaurants. No issues overall rating is good.
Richard Yovichin: What a great experience! The manager at the front desk was nice and accommodating. The breakfast is awesome. The ladies do not overcook the eggs. This is the best complementary breakfast I have ever had on the east coast. Cuddos to the cooks for doing a great job!Hotel highlights Great value …More
boris furman: Fireplaces. Parking is cramped
Julie Waschela: I have to say through this tough little time in my family's life the people that work here are very friendly and helpful. So from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance are all great people and go above and beyond. They all work so hard to run this establishment. We appreciate them.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Michael Greene: This is a well-maintained and pleasant hotel, and the rates are reasonable. The location is perfect for a visit to Tufts - just a few minutes by car to get to campus. The included breakfast was surprisingly good.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Patty: Comfortable room. Good location. Excellent manager. There is no bar in the hotel like in the burington location which would me nice to meet visitors. There is one near by but not fun to walk there on a cold snowy day.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Susan Morris: Check in was smooth , room very clean and cozy. Children really enjoyed the game room. We will be back !!
Alexis Goss: They people are super easy to get ahold of and ask any questions. The room is spacious and the location is PERFECT!!

Extended Stay America - Boston - Burlington: what do users think?
Gladimar Villamil: Horrible experience! Every week they block access to my room, blocking my cards from working, they leave notices and call me constantly saying I haven't paid, when I have paid and I showed them my card statement that I've been charged! My card doesn't work to get into my room, I have to get an employee to come to my room and open my room EVERY SINGLE TIME I leave because the cards to get into my room have been blocked from working! It is extremely frustrating, I get here after working long hours at the hospital and have to deal with this every single day!Floors are dirty, sticky. The drain at the bathtub doesn't work.
Ryan Kelly: I booked this hotel because my wife and I wanted to spend our 1 year anniversary in Salem so it was close enough and the price was reasonable for the weekend. We got to the hotel around 5pm and when we got to our room housekeeping was still cleaning it even though check in was at 3. After about half an hour we saw a mouse crawl out from under the dresser. I called the front desk and told her about this and the only thing I was offered was a discount. When I said this was unacceptable I asked if we could go to a different hotel. They sent us to another extended stay about 10 minutes away. When we got there we had to pay an additional $700 and wait until a manager came in to get any money back. This was not told us when we left the other hotel. The second floor of this hotel in Burlington smelled terrible and out room, for some reason, smelled like Maple syrup. I tried multiple times to call the manager Chesterfield Coppin after getting back to NY to get some money back. It took 2 weeks to get a refund on the first stay. After this I was told I would get some money back on the second one but never received an answer. After calling customer service twice and being told I would be contacted by a regional manager (nobody ever did) I was able to get half the money of my second stay back. Apparently Chesterfield felt like my time spent trying not to be ripped off wasn't worthy of anymore than that. If you're thinking about staying in this hotel, don't. Go somewhere else...anywhere else. I'll never stay in another Extended Stay America hotel as long as I live.

Peter Gemmati: Great service from the night desk clerk, she was amazing, friendly and very helpfulRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Art Johnson: No cooking or eating utensils in room. When I requested some, I had to come from 3rd floor and haul 2 large containers up to my room. Found out while I was using the bathroom that there was no toilet paper. Called desk they said they don't deliver anything up to rooms. Check out day they came to my room twice before 8:30am to make sure I was out by 11:00am. Will never stay at one of these again.
Piyush Jain: Scammed on free breakfastRooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Ben Jams: Extremely terrible experience. I would avoid this at all costs and recommends everyone to do the same. They overcharged me for an extra night and customer service is completely useless so I couldn't even get a refund, claiming that I signed the receipt. They even gave me the wrong room and I walked in on someone else's occupied room... extremely unprofessional, unsafe, and embarrassing. They also only gave me 1 bed instead of the requested 2 but they were overbooked so they couldn't do anything about it.I would rather stay sleep in my car lol.
Stephan Chauvin: Excellent location and the rooms are acceptable, but you get what you pay for.Housekeeping removed several items from my room and then only returned some of them. One of the elevators doesn't seem to work. The front desk is vacant as often as it is staffed, and the fire alarm went off four times during my stay, two of them on the same day! Totally unacceptable, will never stay again.
Salvador Gomez: My wife and I stayed for three weeks arriving to Boston, and it was perfect in many senses: great attitude and service of the people, they were helpful and amicable the whole time (thank you all!), Location is very good with a nice grocery store a few blocks away and the mall with many good restaurant options and even a movie theater, relatively well connected with bus and highway. Most things at a walkable distance.Rooms are good enough, if any they lack an iron, and it is not clear enough that guest should ask for kitchen and dinning utensils. However, once that clear, our stay was great.
Sasha G: I would not recommend my worst enemy stay here. There were ants on the floor, dead bugs in the lights and on the wall. Dust on things and places that indicated no one cleans. Crumbs on the floor, all the cabinet drawers were stained with what looked like mold. The tub/shower was so horribly stained and completely not suitable for any guest to use. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to another room because of all of the above. I was told there were no other rooms available, and that maintenance would come check in the morning and he would leave a note with the manager. No one came, no one followed up. The vibe was very much, “you get what you get”. I did take pictures of everything. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Kaitlin Tipton: Rooms newly renovated and staff has been so amazing. Huge shout out to Evan for helping us out after a fiasco of a last-minute cancel on our verbo. Rooms are clean, spacious, and would definitely recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ofir Carmel: Room was not cleaned (messy bed, towels on floor, marks on toilet)Breakfast was nonexistentSomeone else also got a key to my room and almost barged inRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 1/5 …More
JC Mountain: Nice place for the cost. Each room has a kitchenette with a full refigerator, microw wave, and stove top. Pots, pans, dining ware available on request. Not sure about what we are now calling the Boston shower. See pic. But had good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Overnight there was very little or no noise.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
candlestyx: Key did not work so we could not get in room. After 45 minutes, clerk came to let us in with a master key. While inside, we saw the bathtub and the room were dirty. He never got the key to work and after 90-minutes we asked for our money back and left.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
Domenica Mora: This place is the worst hotel ever, I stayed there only for one night. First we kept hearing noises then we went down to the front desk to get tooth paste we ended up waiting more than 10 minutes because there was no one in the front desk and at the end a front desk agent came from outside like if he was just coming in. Leaving the front desk all by its self. After I get charged with almost three hundred dollars because unfortunately that night I ended up getting my period, and it stained. I spoke to the manager and he was just so rude, I was trying to explained to him that no girl knows when thier period is going to come and I think it’s not fair that I get charged with such a big amount of money when I didn’t mean to get the bed stained. Like periods are natural its not like I said I’m going to have my period that day. It was my first time staying there and trust me I wouldn’t recommend no one to stay in this hotel.

Sebastian Brennan: Thanks to the housekeeping staff for finding and sending some headphones I’d left in the room - top end service and a reason to return. Thanks
P.H Jeng: I stayed at the hotel from April 13 to 18, 2023, for a total of six nights. I used the bathtub from the first day, and the water quality seemed normal. However, on the third day (April 15) at 8 pm, the water that was released from the tap was discolored, as shown in the picture.I called the front desk, and they said someone would come to check it out. After inspecting the tap, the staff turned on the cold water from the sink and said it looked normal. He didn't know why the water was discolored and suggested we try running the water again or change to a different room. Then, he quickly left. After the staff left, we tried running hot water in the sink and found that the water quality was the same as bathtub, with sand-like particles. To make matters worse, when we drained the bathtub, the entire tub was filled with sand and oily substances, as shown in the attached picture. When we asked the front desk about the issue, they only offered to change our room to the same type of room on the same floor. They said we could let them know if we wanted to change rooms. However, we had already unpacked all of our luggage for the six-night stay, and we were unsure if the problem would occur again in the new room. It was concerning that such an incident could happen in a four-star hotel, and the staff's reaction seemed indifferent. At the very least, the hotel should try to find out where the problem with the water was coming from.Review at 9:30 pm on April 15, 2023
Nizar Elias: Rooms: The rooms are nice with a lot of space, the bathroom is good and has everything one might need. The TV in the room offers a bunch of streaming services and allows streaming from mobile device.

Standard room and amenities for a hotel of this brand and size. Will definitely be staying here again during my future trips into this part of Boston.
User P: Rooms do not reflect the advertised pictures. Staff is nice.
jack wang: I am beyond disappointed at this property, while I was eating I saw two mouse scurrying across the floor, I took a video and showed it to the desk clerk. Their response was “this is a 30 year old building, that’s expected.” At least pretend you care.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Extended Stay America - Boston - Woburn: what do users think?
Chris Ricci: Liked it a lot of great room's for the price. It was like a studio apartment. Nice getaway from everything. Nothing for the kid's to do there. Nice adult getawayRooms: The rooms were great they were clean and spacious.

Jason January: I arrived at the Woburn residence in May of 2022. I was recently separated and needing a place ready to go utility’s and such included while I am in the buying process of a home. Unfortunately the market is still very high and the Extended Stay Woburn met all my needs. The staff was great and friendly. There was laundry available which was a huge asset. The location was great as well right off the highway. The chamber service staff were awesome and did a great job on keeping rooms clean. Ty, Ling, Mike and Alyssa are a huge asset to this building. I don’t dread coming home to my room. I look forward to returning to my temporary home.
Moni Moe: My husband and I stayed here during my travel assignment from Oct- Jan. Upon arrival the staff was very spacy and didn't know what tenants was in what room, which seemed very strange to us. The staff was very rude to us the entire stay. The receptionist Alyssa went above and beyond to help us which we very much appreciated. In the first room we were placed in the toilet was broken the shower was not working properly. Each week we were harrassed by the employees to make payments when we paid faithfully every friday. The guy came banging on the door cursing and demanding payment. We got locked out of our room numerous of times and slept in our car out front of the hotel due to no staff being available for over 9 hours. When we called corporate about our complaints they suggested we book another reservation elsewhere when we already paid our money. No one accommodated us properly. I would not suggest this place on your travel assignments or just staying period.
Malisa Jameson: You can tell when you walk in that it has a worn down feel. Very small rooms and no dishes at all in the cabinets. Breakfast is a cup of coffee and a nutragrain bar.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Karen Z: I stayed there 4 years ago, but when we checked in our room was not clean and had a wet towel on the table so we asked for another room and that was smelled like cigarettes so we asked for a different room and we’re told if we weren’t happy with it they wouldn’t give us a different room. When we finally settled into our room an employee burst in without knocking. The pullout bed was extremely squeaky with any little movement and very uncomfortable. The breakfast was not much of anything and the coffee was so full of grounds it wasn’t even drinkable.
Chris Tafel: Place is pretty subpar manged had mice in my room
Jean-Luc Ruse: This is not a normal extended stay. From broken furniture to peeling up floors to staind carpets, to lack of dishes, to $500/mo pet fees to $3400/mo for what shouldn't be half that. To constant card key issues, and nobody at front desk for 45 mins to get my card key fixed. And on and on. This is a slumlord hotel. Trying my best to get another spot for my business trip.
Christopher Pearsall: NEVER EVER STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT ISSUES!I requested a Manager or Management to assist. I was told to get out or they'll call the police which I believe did happen. We drove 2 hours to Cape Cod and got CLEAN, GORGEOUS suite for the price of this... so called room..Rooms: GROSS. SEE PICTURES

Ginger Healey: While the staff is super friendly I will NEVER stay here again. My work made my reservation here and finally after moving twice. The 3rd room was ok. The floors were filthy. TVs won't turn on stove didn't work. Toilet seat not even attached to the toilet. The hallways smell of weed and trash.
Nate Sheen: Quiet location. I was impressed by the friendly staff and how helpful they were. The room was a little dirty. Seems like they rusg through the cleaning.Overall a nice property and quiet would stay again.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jennifer Hoffman: This is an older hotel in definite need of renovation. The staff was pleasant and helpful but the service and amenities were not on par with other Extended Stays that I have been to. They have filled in the pool with concrete, so they need to amend that photo. My room contained nothing in the way of supplies, including a glass, coffee cup, spoons, and a coffee pot. When I asked staff they said people stole the supplies so they did not put them in the rooms. I had to make 2 trips to the desk to get what I needed. Not what I wanted to do at 11 PM after a long trip. The room was clean and serviceable but this is not a hotel I would want to spend a lot of time at.
