Lisa Maccarone: Not happy with installation of my chain link fence. The posts are a lot higher than the fence itself. Looks ridiculous. Also, where the gate is it's all uneven looking on the bottom. The whole gate on that side needs to be fixed. I have called multiple times regarding this and no one has contacted me back as to when they will be out to fix it. Meanwhile the fence is all paid for. adrienne gatien: I had an extremely unpleasant conversation with a man working on a property next to my property. I asked why he was installing a fence with the wrong side facing my property. He said that he'd never heard of facing the right side of a fence toward the next door neighbor ' s house. He rudely asked me to show him where such a thing was written. I told him it has been a good neighbor policy that has been generally adhered to for many years. He continued puffing on his cigar and dismissed my question as frivolous.His attitude and tone were highly offensive and unnecessary. He was completely unprofessional and I would never recommend his services to anyone.

Rory Allan: Fensu is the best fence business in the area. The guys do fantastic quality work and the owner is a great guy. We've had them replace and reinforce a few sections of our old fence and there is an obvious difference between the quality of work of the old fence and that of Fensu.Fensu saved our bacon this weekend too. A section was more or less toppling into our neighbor's yard. I emailed the owner, referencing an old estimate from about a year ago we didn't proceed with at the time. The owner got back to me (on a Sunday), kept the original quote and said he'd call me the following week. The next morning, Monday, the owner called and said his crew had an opening and he could load them up and send them over. The guys replaced the toppled section and reinforced a post in the back that was wobbling, all in about 2 hours.We are going to have Fensu back this year for some additional work. There is no question when it comes to choosing Fensu.

We moved into a new construction home that had a partial fence up that was not our style and we needed a full enclosure for our dogs. I met with Mike at the property the first time where he walked me through different design options and placement locations for gates, etc to give us a few options. We then worked with the owner, Chris, to nail down the final shape/length of the fence, who was incredibly patient as we changed our mind a few times on the perimeter location of the fence. John Scola: I worked with Fensu in May 2022 to rip down an old wooden fence around my patio and put up a new vinyl fence. Chris was my primary point of contact at Fensu. Chris came onsite for an initial meeting and then came back a 2nd time for a meetup with the mason I was working with, as I had our patio updated at the same time as the fence replacement and wanted to ensure Fensu and my mason were aligned on the approach to the project. The project required coordination to have the old fence removed and new metal poles core drilled into my retaining wall on which the patio sits, then the mason took two weeks to do the patio, and then Fensu came back to install the vinyl fence. Fensu did all of the work on time and in a professional manner, showing respect for the property. The crew did a great job communicating with me to make sure the two gates were installed in the direction I expected them to be installed. They had to do some custom work where the patio meets the driveway wall and they did a really nice job with that section of the fence. Overall very good experience with Fensu and would recommend them to others looking for fence work. Some plant casualties are inevitable (and worth it) but I think they tried their best to work around them. saoulons: We used Fensu do a large wooden fence project for us. We did this during the height of the pandemic when materials were in short supplies and demand for fences was at an all-time high.We got quotes from 3 different vendors and Fensu was the only vendor that would respond digitally and be very responsive. This was very important to us as we didn't want to wait 2+ weeks for a fence vendor to redraw a design by hand and mail it via snail mail....Chris and his team at Fensu were top notch when it came to installation, thought-partnering on different options given the grade of our property, and humoring our changing our minds a few times on the configuration. Every installer who came from Fensu was prompt, courteous and hardworking. The materials were also top of the line (northern white cedar) and the fence panels were very hefty; we expect the fence to last over 25 years. Given how responsive Chris is over email and txt, I have no doubt that we can rely on Fensu to provide great customer service should we ever have any issues with our fence.Fensu may not be the cheapest option out there, but be weary of "cheap" vendors, they are most likely pushing lower quality materials. We highly recommend Fensu for a top notch quality product and experience that is much more "2020s" than other fence vendors who feel like they are stuck in the 1980s, where you have to leave a voicemail, wait at least 1 week for a call back and wait 2+ weeks for a quote to come via snail mail...Service:Wood fence installation

Kevin Kosiorek: The team from Fensu recently installed a scalloped wood fence around the perimeter of my back yard. Their price was competitive and the quality of the fence and installation was excellent. The ground is very rocky, but that didn't stop the team from digging the post holes to the proper depth. Each post is solid and reinforced with concrete. The pics speak for them self. I highly recommend. The swing set in the background is from Hearthside Patio.

elizabeth stevenson: I got an estimate from this company for a backyard fence and at the time of the estimate was told that they could probably do it in 3-5 weeks, possibly earlier. My husband and I discussed it and agreed to move forward so I called and left a message with the answering service that I was ready to go and sent in my deposit as instructed ($4500).The check was cashed, but I was not contacted by the company.I called and left a message requesting a call back to establish a start date. The answering service told me I would get a call back shortly. I did not receive a call back.My husband then called and left another (more frustrated) message requesting a call back. He received a call back almost immediately and was told that they couldn’t give a start date. He was told that by the contractor that “in 35 years I’ve never given a start date.” The conversation became heated and my husband was told that this wasn’t going to work and our money would be returned. Then the contractor hung up on him.I really hope we get our money back.I am also disappointed that there wasn’t a better way to resolve this. There is no email or manager contact number on the website, only the answering service. I am not a person who enjoys writing bad reviews, but this seems like the only way to get a response from a manager. It is not good business practice to cash a deposit without contacting a customer to give even just a general start date. It does not instill confidence.

Nan Zhang: Giving them 2 stars. Here are the details.4 stars for getting the estimation visit scheduled and done. Not the fastest but get it in about 2 weeks, so it is ok.2 stars for getting the quotes and paperwork done properly before the installation. Several mistakes were made in the quote and paperwork, including not getting the quoted price right, missing some agreed options, taking several weeks to correct the mistakes.1 star for installation, the guy who came could not handle a minor tree obstruction issue properly. He wanted to take an easy way and install the fence with a 4-5 inch tilt of a panel to avoid the tree, which made the fence looked very ugly. He refused to correct it after multiple requests until I talked to the manager and asked to fix it or leave. Very bad customer experience, I got cursed at for asking the fence being installed to my satisfaction… an inexperienced and grumpy installation crew.Overall, not happy…

Called them to follow up and was told I would get a call back. No one called. Even if the business responds saying that they would like me to call back so that they can fix my issue, I can’t, in good conscience, give a place like this my business. It’s so unprofessional.Edited to add: Poor answering service or not, Mark should have responded directly after visiting for an estimate, and he didn't. Why is there no explanation on why Mark failed to follow up? Just unprofessional behavior on your employee and your answering services.

Ideal Fence's quote was not only almost $1000 less than our other quotes, but they were able to put the fence in the following week. Eddie the owner was highly responsive and very personable. Even called the next day to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. I would highly recommend!

Kristin Jardin: I tried to work with this company since the beginning of the summer of 2016. It is now November of 2016 and I just received the quote. I called the installer to find out a time for installation. Sure I am quite annoyed by this time for the lack of responses, but was told to find someone else. What a waste of time.

I take my dog to daycare next door to Ideal Fence so walked in one day to see what they had to offer. I walked in at opening and was helped right away by Brigitte. Each step of the way she has made the process simple, straightforward and easy to deal with, which I very much appreciate in my busy life! She has also gone out of her way to get details handled that could have been stressful for me, such as an unexpected change in our delivery need and also a last minute adjustment that was needed to the fence. The quality of the fence looks to be excellent and the level of service I experienced is just rare these days, in most any industry. I would highly recommend using them and appreciate how positive my experience was.
