2008 TSH: Delivers quality product as promised and owner is customer focused. Will not deliver in the rain or snow if at all possible. The cord was about the same size as another company’s 2 cord delivery, very uniform manageable sizes and truly dry. Great experience.

J H: Very happy overall. I ordered a half a cord of wood at the start of October and, like other reviewers, was wary about paying upfront through Paypal. A week went by and I hadn't heard anything, so I called and left a message asking for an order confirmation.The very next day I got a call back - turns out that they HAD called me the day after my order and I (like a typical millennial) didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the phone number. I also didn't listen to the voicemail that they left me, because, well, millennial. The man I spoke to (Nick?) told me it would likely be around three weeks for delivery because of high demand.It ended up being closer to four weeks, but I suppose that's to be expected at this time of year in New England. I'll know to order in advance next time. I'm very pleased with the amount and quality of the wood - I am sure that more than a half cord was delivered. It's of a great size for my small cast iron stove, and plenty of variety in terms of wood types and sizes and shapes. Little to no loose bark, and just enough thin/split wood that I can easily break by hand to use as kindling.I hear what the other reviewers are saying as far as wait times, but I think that most problems can be resolved by ordering well in advance. I'm very happy (and very warm now!) and will continue to use TinderPro into the future.

Dave Collins: I had a bad customer experience with Tinderpro - I cannot recommend doing business with them.First of all, I had to pay the full amount up front, and got no order confirmation. I had to reach out myself (call and email) to get a response back. The email said the firewood was in high demand and delivery would be “a number of weeks”. Strike 1, but somewhat expected.Weeks go by with no email or call. I again had to initiate asking for an update before the holidays. Response was non-committal and blamed mechanical problems and weather for delays. Strike 2.Almost 2.5 months after ordering, and 20 emails back and forth, Tinderpro started suggesting delivery dates. The only offerings were weekends, and I’m often out running errands on weekends so that didnt work. During a multi-day stretch of good weather, I asked for a weekday delivery and got a no. Strike 3. Canceled my order and got a refund.So after 2.5 months, dozens of emails, and hundreds of dollars tied up not earning interest, I got no firewood this winter. Part of it is on me for waiting far too late in the year to order, but I cannot recommend doing business with Tinderpro.

Kevin Hughes: Their website has you send money directly via paypal with no confirmation or anything. I contacted them in November prior to sending the money to make sure they had kiln dried wood on hand and could deliver relatively soon. He replied and said they are a 'couple of weeks' out. That seemed ok so I sent the money and didn't hear anything. A few weeks go by with no reply and I call the phone number, leave voicemails and multiple emails but never hear back.I cancelled the paypal transfer I had sent and within 20 minutes I have someone calling me asking why I cancelled. I explained I never heard from them and thought it was a scam. He explained they were busy and it's going to be a few weeks but they are definitely going to deliver the wood and he gave me his personal phone number so I can text him to ask for an update if I want to know where I am in the line.3 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I texted the phone number and he said he's hoping it will be the next weekend. That weekend passes with no more contact from them. 3 more weeks go by and I don't hear anything so I text again asking where I am in the line. Again he says it might be next weekend.I ordered in November and it's now the end of January and I am not very confident I'll ever get this wood. If I do, they definitely need to work on their communication with customers. If I don't receive my wood, I have been scammed. I cannot recommend working with this company and please save your money.

Angela Ciprari McInerney: This was my first year using Tinder Pro. Our usual vendor is not delivering wood anymore and I liked the convenience of being able to order online. I was a little nervous at first because I ordered, paid, but the site didn’t ask for an address or requested date. Don’t be worried-Bob communicated with me in a professional, timely manner to arrange the details via email. Nick delivered our wood and was very nice and professional as well. The wood is great quality as well. It was a good experience and I will be using Tinder Pro again.

He gives me a good mix with extras of my favorite kind of wood plus large pieces which I use for a backlog plus good variety of smaller and medium.Burns great. James Fitzgerald: I ordered a 1/2 cord of firewood online and received it within a week. The firewood is really good quality. All hardwood with little to no bark. Paying for the firewood through BillMeLater is a plus. I would have given 5 stars if stacking was included. Stacking it myself is going to turn out to be a couple of days work with my schedule but it'll be worth it. I'll buy again next year.

Florian Zimniak: We got half a cord of wood delivered to Cambridge in September, and we've been very happy with both service and wood quality.The wood was delivered as scheduled, and the stuff is just great. We bought kiln-dried, because we need to keep it in the basement (bug free!). The wood lights easily. It comes at various sizes, which is great: half of it in smaller pieces to get fires started easily, and half of it in larger pieces to keep them going. I guess we'll need to order more soon...

T'sera Mirescu: Been using Beech Hill for a couple of years after recommendation from our neighbor. Easy to book, stacking service is nice and the guys are fast, and much better price per fire than buying bundles from anywhere. Looking forward to trying their kiln dried wood this year. 1/2 cord lasted us 2 years for an indoor hearth and an outdoor pit we use at least a couple times per month, sometimes more than once a week, during 8-9 months of the year.

There is a good mix of different woods there.The wood that I received had more moisture than I would normally expect for seasoned firewood, possibly due to some recent rain. Tom was very apologetic and offered to deliver some kiln dried firewood so I'm covered while the seasoned delivery finishes drying. I am very impressed with the customer service.
