New Deal Fish Market: what do users think?
Karl Swanson: Best place in Boston for sushi grade fish, have been coming here for several years now for their tuna, salmon and tobiko!
Celeste De Palma: We discovered this neighborhood gem during 2020, and it kept us so happily fed during the shutdown. They always have fantastic quality and variety. It's not cheap, but you will gladly pay for quality seafood. Oh! Did I mention they have sushi grade fish cuts too? Fun date night idea, anyone? You can find some interesting Asian and Italian ingredients to make special dishes, and staff are nice about sharing their favorite way to cook their fish.
dushyanth subu: I had tuna poke for the first time in Hawaii and when I got back home I really missed fresh poke. So I started shopping around to see if any place in Boston sells fresh fish. Thats when I found New Deal. Their big eye or yellow fin tuna is so fresh and the poke cubes so soft even granny with no teeth can eat it. I go here atleast once every week now if not a couple of times. These people know their fish
Benjamin Sanchez-Lengeling: Great quality fish
Paw Pol Bos: Around major holidays lines used to be few years ago around the corner outside of the store. Prices are about same, but I see less customers. Tough times for business.
Naoko Camin (Nao): They have been one of the best fish market around Boston for over 35 years. This is the only place I trust to get fish for Sushi and Sashimi.
A A: 新鲜的各种海鲜 在市区. 不用跑到海边就能吃到的新鲜海产品. 值得去逛逛
Attorney Byron Knight: . It was part of the routine of getting fresh food for the week. That was about 40 years ago. Now, I bring my sons for the best and freshest fish out of the water. They go to the dock 2x's a day to get the variety and fresh fish that they are known for. Carl and the crew have maintained the best customer service throughout the years. They know their fish, where it came from, and how to cook it. Don't be afraid to experiment there is a recipie waiting for you! New Deal always has great fish, and their fresh sardines are delicious. FYI, you will often hear Carl taking bulk orders for local restaurants....it's that good- that is why you gotta go early, especially on the weekends or holiday seasons. Yup, if you can't get it straight from the ocean, get it from New Deal Fish Market.
Mike Katz: The Fish is incredibly fresh, the staff is knowledgeable and personable. I truly enjoy shopping at New Deal fish market. They usually have a wide variety of whole and filleted fishes.
Marcia Griffith: Good quality fish 🐟 and seafood.
oo-: The best sashimi fish market in Boston. Atlantic salmon is awesome.
Quentin Fennessy: First class selection and service for seafood and some specialty grocery items. Ship here if you wantto make your own sushi
Junji Morokuma: My favorite and very local best fish market where I fetch my sashimi grade tuna, salmon, scallops, etc., even some yummy Makaochi if lucky. 😋Also has frozen unagi, and all things needed to make sushi as well. Their salmon burger patties are awesome as well! So lucky to have such great fish market in my East Cambridge neighborhood!
Neil Judell: Fabulous fish market. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Good selection - very helpful staff.
daniel delpapa: Great knowledgeable fishmonger. I highly recommend.
Xu Zhang: It’s not the cheapest fish market. However, you get what you are paying for. We went here multiple times and never feel disappointed. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to find some rare parts, for example toro. Highly recommended!
durielthered: Super friendly staff and fish were very fresh
Dan Cogswell: Been buying fish here for a decade. Always fantastic!
Andy Sanders: You're a human that wants top grade seafood: go to new deal fish market, get top grade seafood, be happy. It's really that simple. The dry scallops are a special diamond among diamonds, as good and often better than what you'll find at local sushi joints. This is a no brainer, buy your seafood here, really.
Kathy Marygold Small: Bought a pound of otoro that we paid $49 a lb for was extremely chewy. Barely edible. When you cut it, you know right then if it's tough and they have knives and had to cut it so they knew...so not cool. Besides that, the blue fin was good so 3 stars average.
Aran Nathanson: Great fish. Very fresh. Fair prices . What more can you ask for?
