M H T: A lot of unleashed dogs. I was almost bit. Its a nice place to walk or bike.
Samantha Bates Church: You need a Cambridge resident parking sticker to park in the parking lot. Itโs a great place to take a walk. Very popular place in Cambridge so itโs not the most private place to get back to nature but itโs still beautiful. Part of the path around the lake is paved and the rest is compacted dirt, which I prefer. Lots of loons and swans. Little Fresh Pond in the back is a great birdwatching spot. Thereโs also some super cute wood benches along the path. Thereโs a chain link fence separating the path from the water.

Pratyush Rai: Lovely place to have a stroll/jog around.We do have a golf course, lawn tennis court and a children's park around.

Tommy Casolaro: Fresh Pond is super nice. There is a nicely paved path around the pond, as well as some dirt trails, space for dogs, and other overlooks for enjoying nature
Wise Guide: Such a lovely park with wonderful scenery and a semi-large loop to walk.A couple of problems:When you get on the loop, you have to complete it. (if you're with an elder or child, consider that there are limited number of seating available and not much scape paths from the loop).No bathroom available in the park (or at least I haven't found any).It's hard to find parking around the area (if you don't have Cambridge parking permit).
Nora Chuff: Cambridge only parking (not even guest passes allowed)--heavily enforced. Cambridge registered dogs only --apparently enforced. The Fresh Pond dog beach would be a great place to let your dog cool off during the summer if it weren't regulated by nativist a holes.
Tom Chretien: Pristine park. Lovely rolling hills and beautiful waterfront.
Lauren Adams: You can't park here unless you are a resident of Cambridge. Even though the parking lot was mostly empty when I went, I was told to leave or I would get a ticket. There is no guest parking. The street I was told to park on nearby (not that near) was also resident parking only, so thank you to the gentleman who kicked me out for saving me a parking ticket, but no thank you to the alternative parking suggestions. I drove home noticing that pretty much every street in Cambridge requires resident permits, and I realized that the city of Cambridge really does not want outsiders to visit. Fresh Pond is essentially an unofficial gated community amenity for the wealthy residents. Everyone else, do not come.

Dayan Siri: Nice place for walking and running but was crowded at the time of our visit on saturday noon

CES: Really nice place for a family walk. We walked the loop with our six year old twins and it was great. Everyone respectful of social distancing and mask wearing as required.

Sheffield Monsters: 10/10 pond. Absolutely beautiful. Perfect for all your pons needs.
Meenakshi Shinde: This pond has beautiful sunset views. The walkway around lake is of about ~3miles. There is another small Lily pond besides fresh pond where dogs can play.

Wise Guide: Spy Pond is such a lovely place!It has benches, tables, and play ground. It's great for having a small gathering or picking up a take out and having it on the benches.The Minuteman bike path is crossing east of the lake.Boating is possible and fishing is allowed, but not swimming.Overall it's a clean park with a wonderful view.I only wish it had bathroom available (there is a portable one sometimes available, but you know the condition of the potable ones...).

Sudarshan Bhattacharjee: A big pond with beautiful scenic environments. Boating and fishing are allowed but no swimming. Thereโs a playground for kids and families can spend time in the picnic areas just by the side of the pond. I like this place. You can find lots of ducks swimming around the pond. Parking place is small..

Vincent Rudolph: Spy Pond is a great place for a nice view, nice to look at while sitting on the edge. I do not recommend swimming in it, but there is no reason not to. It is always cool to look at the boats from the Arlington Boys and Girls club. Great place to have a picnic or hangout with your friends.
