Mandy Xu: please do not come here! had a a terrible customer experience

Christine Chao: Beautiful interior but brunch was quite pricey for the amount of food and quality of food that was served. The mushroom crepe was filled with onion ends and did not have much flavor. The potatoes were good though.
Peter Ph: Well appointed and not too tightly packed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good, though given there is "French" food on the menu, it's a shame the food isn't more authentic - very Americanized. The duck vol au vent was good. The biggest drawback is that it is very noisy when busy. If you like shouting to your dinner companions over the table, this is the place for you. If you want a relaxed dinner, maybe this isn't the place for you. Of course, the restaurant doesn't want customers to relax, as it is much more profitable to maintain high turnover.
Ben Jackson: New menu is full of hits, we had the family style porterhouse (pic), bunch of sides and the tagliatelle. Service was attentive without being on top of you and the beverage list is rounded out well. Solid spot for a group dinner or just to pull up to the bar for a nice glass of wine and some snacks.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chelsea Shin: It is a decent french place, but don’t keep your expectation high. We had a few dishes, but nothing really stood out. I may try this place again, but I will prioritize other restaurants over this one. Also, the atmosphere is kinda off, it is by the hotel lobby and it feels like a hotel restaurant not in a good way.
Aarti Choudhary: Talking about food- food was really good (vegetarian). Staff was friendly except the one who brought us at table. Another server was friendly, polite but was not able to explain whether the meat is cooked or not. Consistency of food are different. Sweet dishes are good. But I m not satisfied with food and the lady who took us at our table.
Simran Malik: The food was good, but even when we ordered the same dish the consistency was different. We had to wait even after an early reservation, the rest of the staff was friendly but one lady was making un polite faces while taking us to our seats. We experienced hostile behavior when we asked her about the dish which wasn’t fully cooked. We went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and was extremely disheartened after the experience.Though the place was beautiful and some dishes were really good, I don’t think the experience was something friendly towards us.
Ben Touimi: Food tastes amazing and the service is great. The place looks really nice and the staff is super friendly.
Christabel Barry: If you are a woman who wants to enjoy a drink in peace DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I reserved seats at the bar. It was a busy Friday night but the entire time we were harassed by a drunk man who hovered over our seats and wouldn’t leave us alone after being told several times to step back. The bartenders were too busy to intervene but they did see it playing out and did nothing. Do not recommend this as a safe space for women or queer people.

Ashley Proietti: Colette hosted our engagement party. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration perfect! Everyone loved the food and had a great time. Not to mention the decor is stunning, the perfect background for celebratory pics! Would highly recommend.
Francisco Ángeles: Fantastic location, good tables and lighting, and fine staff. The atmosphere is amazing. Food is okay. Not bad but far from memorable. The wine list could be (in fact, should be) so much better. Very good price per quality, though, considering the place’s look rather than food.

Craigie On Main: what do users think?
Sherif Gerges: Tasty, portions are pretty small. One of the better restaurants in Cambridge/Boston.
Ephraim Eugene: Best ever. Please come back!To Megan Davis...you came to burger restaurant to eat vegies??? Smh get a life
Karen Messick: The Craigie Burger.....that's all that needs to be said.
Sandy M: Craigie Next Door is a great outside dining option. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is comfortable. Very enjoyable. Can't wait to return!
Meggan Davis: Came here for the first time and, after hearing lots of good things, were pretty disappointed. All around, food was good, but not excellent, and there was a general lack of thoughtfulness for the diner’s experience. We did the vegetarian tasting menu. We started with a beet hummus that was a wonderful color, but served with a total of six vegetable bites, and the cauliflower was too big to dip into the jar of hummus. Not a big deal if not for contributing to the “lack of attention” theme. The big disappointment was that the vegetarian main was a heap of blackened vegetables. They were farm fresh and tasted good enough, for sure, but to serve a pile of vegetables as a main shows a real lack of creativity. They even served it with the sauce that was meant for the meat main (a plum-like sauce, for duck), as if grilled zucchini and duck have the same flavor profile. Felt like being a vegetarian at a large catered event where your only choice is grilled vegetables or portobello—so they can just do the same thing to the vegetables that they do to the meat. For ~$125 a head, I’d expect something that felt less like an accommodation and more intentional.Another lack-of-attention detail was that we spent the evening listening to the kitchen’s music, which was more Tony Hawk skate jam than outdoor fine dining. Nothing wrong with the music per se, just doesn’t match the vibe at all.The wine, however, was delicious, and our waitress was quite attentive—so the meal had lots of redeeming features. I think maybe if I’d paid half the price and hadn’t been sold a “fine dining” experience, it would have been perfectly good. It just didn’t meet its own expectations.
Dave S: My favorite restaurant anywhere, including my own state of Rhode Island and my hometown of NYC. I have often driven the 1 1/2 hour trip just to have dinner at Craigie and then go back home afterwards. Tony Maws is a very talented chef. I never order off the menu. I just sit down and order whatever he is making that night (the Chef's Whim?) and have never been disappointed. I wouldn't dare do that anywhere else. Even the food items that include ingredients that I don't ordinarily like, are delicious. They are also serve one of my favorite scotches and no other restaurant has it. You cannot go wrong at Craigie. It's alittle pricey but it's worth every cent, and I'm not great at spending money.
Kevin Karch: They don't oversalt nothin
David Martinez: Great atmosphere food was exceptional
Emily Washburn: Exceptional service from start to finish with our server Max! Although some of the menu was a little out of my comfort zone(bluefish pate and duck) because everything was so well prepared and delicious that it was easy to enjoy our whole meal and explore something new!
Ronnie Mcd: a bit overpriced, but its hard to find a place like this in cambridge
ziyad Aldegaither: The Burger is amazing. The fries are superb. Everything is great in terms of quality of food. This is Howe I remember it at least, last time I ordered from them was 6 months ago. I have been trying to get an order in for the past two months. The new online pick up system is awful. I try to plan ahead of time before things sell out but the system doesn’t update until the day off ordering. I hope management sees my concern and know that I am a loyal customer that have been trying very hard to get food from your business. However you’re making it harder for me to stay as a customer. The food is great, I’m not sure about the service anymore.
Michael Kenney: The burger is worth the publicity, the rest of it feels a little precious but I continue to come back for that burger. Chef’s kiss.
Richard Trilles: My Favorite restaurant!!
Yegor Smurnyy: Went to pick up food on New Year eve and the line was unreasonably long, 20 mins, could be organized much better
Eric Connors: Only the second time I've been able to enjoy this place and the food was truly exceptional just like last time. I can only imagine how much better it would have been if we have eaten at the restaurant, no fault of theirs of course. I will eat here every chance I get!! Tony, thank you and I hope you make it through these tough times!
Tony Darosa: Never open
Laura Scrimgeour: The outdoor dining experience is really phenomenal - they did such a lovely job with the decor and the sparkling lights! The food is of course just as spectacular as always - Tony Maws is quite the master chef!
Elizabeth Tassinari: was so looking forward to chegs whim and i wasnt disappointed! the food was excellent!
Caroline Luis: Love this wonderful restaurant. The burger is always worth the hype. The ever-changing menu never fails to bring wonderful ingredients to the table full of flavor and beautifully presented. The Craigie Next Door patio is an awesome response to the limitations from the pandemic, and the food lives up to the restaurant’s reputation from before.
Danah: Amazing experience definitely a must
Susan Russell: Ordered Chef's Whim tonight. After weeks of cooking at home, it is clear why it's called "Chef's" whim. Our meal exceeded expectations (for take out) and reinforced how much we enjoy Tony Maw's culinary skills. And we have enough left for lunch tomorrow. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

Marina Orlova: I liked this place. The place is small, so I highly recommend you make a reservation before going there at least on the weekend because they might be packed. The food was great! I ordered Fresh Maine Lobster Bisque and Chicken Coq Au Vin. The Lobster Bisque was great because it had many lobster bits inside. Not in many places can you find this kind of Lobster Bisque. My main dish was tasty too. The chicken was soft and the sauce made it extra delicious. They have frog legs and escargots. Maybe I will try them next time. I tried their Aperol Spritz and it was good. On the menu, you can find cocktails and French cocktails. I found that interesting. The service was good, your server was nice and friendly.

Luke Heald: Had a perfect experience here for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was incredible. The staff was also very accommodating and kind for a rather large party. I hope to return for another meal at Batifol soon!
Madeline Mindel: I did a tasting event at Batifol last night- I have not, in recent memory, had such a depressing meal.“Risotto” that was tasteless mush. “Beef Bourguignon” that was bland pot roast with out-of-the-jar demiglace. A “nutella dessert” that they didn’t bother to name, because it was low quality milk chocolate blobbed onto a plate with cookie crumbs on top.The “wine pairing” for a 5 course menu was 4 half pours of bad wine, 2 of which were the same.To top it off, I had to listen to the chef talk about the food… I don’t know how he kept a straight face.It was…. like bad wedding catering from 2002. I can’t imagine that the restaurant experience would be any better.
Patrick McKenna: Spectacular, 5/5!!!! The warm, inviting atmosphere draws you in for an intimate meal. The staff are friendly, caring and outgoing. Props to the chef as the food was delicious, and tasted so fresh. The drinks are outstanding. Pierre the bartender was so amazing that even after we left and we’re halfway home, I had to walk back to complement him to the head of the restaurant. It’s incredible when you have service and someone that cares so much about your experience, that they go out of their way to make sure you are having the best moment of your day with them. That’s Pierre. This restaurant delivers on so many levels, where so many others fall short. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Parking is available along the street. The T is 2 blocks away for easy access.
Jorge Feteira: Boa experiência, local muito acolhedor, tanto da para estar so balcão a beber, com jantar ou almoço descansadamente, na fica no centro de Boston, por isso não seria uma escolha óbvia, mas e bem agradável o local.
Mehdi Si Moussa: My friends invited me there to celebrate my birthday.Food was really tasty and deserts very good.Unlike many places in North America, this restaurant wasn't loud, we could talk to each other comfortably and the atmosphere was really nice. Can't wait to try their brunch 😋
Michaela Shtilman-Minkin: Great cocktail. Great ceviche (special - should be permanent); albeit a bit of a small portion. Good boeuf bourguignon, but I think it needed more sauce. I asked to get about half of the portion to go and when I got home I saw that they didn't pack the carrot and most of the mushrooms (and definitely none of the sauce). Not a big deal, just would have been a little nicer. Super creamy crème brûlée. Service was good as well.
Nolwenn Lemoine: We spent a lovely night at Batifol. The food was great and we loved our cocktails. We also ordered a crème brulée and it was delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful. It was pleasant to see a good teamwork. It’s a solid place and I will 100% be back.
Jennifer Tamkin: The risotto was delicious! Great wine & service too :)
Jacques Martin: Wonderful experience, I will returnDietary restrictions accommodated Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten free, Dairy free Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend …More
hadeel zreik: Way too expensive, considering the small portions and burnt food
Misha Fop: We ordered all the specials and everything was so tasty. Excellent cocktails. I loved the atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. I can’t wait to try their regular menu along with brunch.
Nakul Kadaba: Great upscale french restaurant in Kendall square ! Came here for a surprise date night and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Great space, though harder for larger groups. Given the tables, this is made for date nights or smaller groups (less than 5) enjoying an evening out. There were several highlights with the food. The appetizers were varied - the salmon and feta dip was not mixed well but good. For main courses, duck and beef dishes were big hits. We did not get the salads or chicken (poulet) but our waitress did state they were good for lighter appetites. In terms of drinks, cocktails were amazing! Lots of variety - vodka, tequila, and gin among others - and really delicious. They had a decent wine selection as well. Most of the wines were french, but they had some US domestic as well.Service was good, though some things could be improved upon, such as communicating wine or drink pairings, and providing more clear recommendations for appetizers and dessert. That said, we got our food relatively quick and were always checked out without overdoing it. The price is definitely something to consider, but given it's kendall square, it is going to be a bit higher end. Regardless, enjoyed the time here and hope to come back again soon!
Amy Navitsky: Food: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Peter Jackson: Great cocktails but let down by the pricing on the food. The cheeseboard starter was nice but micro portions of each cheese - completely overpriced. L Tj: I had high expectations for this place, but was left disappointed. The server only talked to my husband. He didn't acknowledge that I was there. Vincent's: what do users think?
Han G.: There were very few options for meat entrees, so I settled for the duck breast, which turned out to be inedible. The sweet potato was undercooked and overly salty, the duck was greasy and tough, and the pickled vegetables were excessively salty. It seems that most of the positive reviews were for the drinks, which I did not try, and the service was also lacking in friendliness. I could only manage to take two bites before feeling like I might be sick, and I ultimately threw the rest of the food away. It was a shame to waste it, but it was barely food...
Izze Cota: Great food and service! We arrived around 530p on a monday and it was super quiet. The waitress was lovely and answered all of my questions. We had the gnocchi, carrot tartare, vegetable grain and duck, everything was delicious but the veggies were the star of the show. We're looking forward to the fajita night and will definitely be returning!
Katelyn Pringle: The only reason this isn't five stars for me is the location's a bit out-of-the-way and when I went there was no AC. But the food was superb, and so where the drinks. It's an intimate place so it's probably be a good date spot.
Leah Klein: This visit we went for brunch. Everything was delicious. If you like soicy get some house made hot sauce with the meal. The space is warm and cozy and feels like a hip version of an old country inn. The staff are cheery and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back again. Everything from the ketchup to the tortillas and sausage are made in house.

Kimberly: Good ambience and cozy vibes. Food was fine - a bit boring and lacking creativity. Went for dinner and their drinks were very good.
Mat J R: I am absolutely confused by how this restaurant has 5 star reviews. Our food was not as others' pictures depict and we were absolutely shocked. When asked how our meal was, we did explain that we weren't overly satisfied. Our waiter appeared a bit disgruntled and they did nothing to resolve the issue. We were still charged a 20% service charge on top of the tip. I would not recommend this place to anyone, it was very unfortunate.
Nic: This place is absolutely the worst. Food was like puke and to top it off, they add 20% on for staff wages, to allow you to reward the staff for delivering you puke. If you want puke on a plate this is your dream place. All of it was dreadful.
Sanjay Talluri: Cute space, great cocktails, very friendly staff!
Tarun Dhadwal: From the moment you walk into Vincent’s, the staff is very welcoming. It’s a very intimate place and feels like you’re home. The menu is influenced by many countries to create some very unique dishes. We had the octopus and potatoes for appetizers. The rabbit and flounder with mussels. Very filling and had to take some home. We finished the night with a chocolate tort, delicious, but the crust was a bit hard to cut through. Overall, the food and service were wonderful and would definitely go back again.

Sharad Wertheimer: Brunch potatoes were delicious, great crisp texture and tasty seasoning. Breakfast plates are great bang for your buck! And it’s a brunch place where you don’t have to wait 45 minutes for a table on Saturday morning :)
William “Rhino Reviews” Clark: Attending an event nearby. Figured we would "give it a try" and wow so glad we did. From the second we stepped in, the experience was excellent. The incredibly friendly host ended up being our server. Absolutely outstanding.Started out with the two special drinks of the night, a Wabi Sabi and an Antibes. Highly recommend both. And if you have app, make sure you try the Vincent's Board. Tonight it had a salmon pate. The mix of flavors with the drinks. Totally on point. For dinner, we had a duck breast and the masa gnocchi. The flavor combination with the perfectly cooked duck was amazing. The duck fat cashews...wow. The gnocchi was not the normal Italian gnocchi but again the flavor made it shine and the gnocchi themselves were like tiny golden pillows that melted in your mouth. If in the area...definitely give it a try!
Andrew Horn: Very cool vibe, great bar.
