Scott Kirby (KscottK): Don't let the outside fool you or turn you away. This is a gem. Skip the fries, or even the Greek fries, and get the rice! The moussaka has a bit of cinnamon and it's delicious. The souvlaki is very good. I want to try the smoked sausage! Good lentil soup, too. Great, friendly kind staff. Wish I got his name, but the young guy who served us was the best. His brother works at the sister restaurant in Arlington, and we may be going there for breakfast in the morning!

Rachael Berman: We had a delivery order for 30 people that I placed just a few days in advance. It was delivered hot and fresh, perfectly on time, by a very nice and gracious man. We had all sorts of different things from the menu and they were all really, really good. The party was a memorial for my parents, and the meal was so easy to order, and so perfect that it helped to make the occasion very special. There were plenty of leftovers, too, which will be well appreciated.

Leah Klein: Love this spot. We often do takeout but its nice to dine in too at lunch or dinner. The tzatziki is completely addictive. The Greek fries are delicious. The soups are always good. The gyro sandwiches and plates are out favourite. My vegetarian child always enjoys the vegetarian gyro.
Elaine Cope: My husband was so worried that the Greek Corner would close during the pandemic that he tried to be their best take-out customer. They are still a go-to for us. You can call 20 mins ahead and your food will be ready when you get there. Try the Avgolemono soup if you have a cold -just like my MIL used to make when the kids were sick. M M: My friend and I took my wife here for her birthday. We met up late so we were hungry! For 5 people, we ordered 5 appetizers, salad and 4 main.For apps we got the 4 dip which came with very thin pita. The consensus favorite was the tzatziki. The eggplant and Tamara (carp roe) were close runner ups. The scordalia was like mashed potatoes... Could skip it. The grilled octopus was ok. A bit burnt for some pieces but at least it wasn't mushy like many other restaurants. The gigades (Lima beans in tomato sauce) was tasty. Good to have with some bread. The loukaniko (Greek sausage) was pretty sizable and flavorful. The Greek salad was alright... Came with a slab of tasty feta. The grilled sardines were exactly what they were. Very lightly battered and bite sized snacks.For the main dishes, my favorite was the shrimp desfina. It was almost like a risotto topped with garlic shrimp. The tenderloin tips were super tender. The crinkle cut fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sea bass was a bit overcooked where the skin was too charred for me and the fish was a bit dry. Lastly we had the mussels chablis. So good with bread.They don't skimp on the portions. The waiter was also phenomenal. He gave us some suggestions, was attentive but not overbearing. He brought out the cake which they sliced up already and sang happy birthday with us. Then when we had some leftover, he didn't even ask if we wanted a box... He just brought it out as if he read our minds.Very good experience!

Dolphia Arnstein: It’s like a mom-and-pop joint. The owner was hot and sweet. The food was beyond delicious!They were able to seat us without reservation. The drinks were delicious. Tim Zajac: We flew into Boston and stayed in Cambridge. We chose Desfina's from the reviews and for proximity to where we stayed as well as finding a "local" restaurant we could never find at home. We walked to the restaurant , ordered an appetizer, 2 entree's and dessert with a glass of wine. Everything was great. Loved the local "part of the fabric" atmosphere. Food was terrific and our waitress was exceptional. She (and other wait staff) gave us all of the service we needed while giving Faith and I time to experience the great food and company.Go visit and enjoy!

Patrick Moran: Not the best falafel in the world but you get what you pay for with chain restaurants. It is a convenient and close vegetarian option for me.However, the reason I am giving a low rating and why I will not be patronizing here anymore is because of the manager. Every time I see him there, he is belittling and disrespecting his workers and barking orders at them. Maybe he thinks that this will make them more efficient and better workers, but all I see are timid workers who are afraid to make mistakes around him and it creates an atmosphere that must be incredibly unpleasant to work under.

Friendship Music: I was picking up a DoorDash order for one of the Halal Guys’ customers. I asked to use the rest room, because driving around delivering food for local businesses eventually leads to nature’s call. Upon asking to use the restroom one halal guy told me that the restroom was “only for customers”. When I explained that I was delivering food for them, via DoorDash, I was referred to a different halal guy who told me that the restroom was “out of order”…now I’m no halal guy, but the restrooms can’t be both for customers only, and out of order. Not only will I never spend another dollar of my money in this restaurant, I will never again accept a delivery for halal guys going forward. Shame on you. I was literally there to make you money. I felt like trash. Nobody deserves that.

Hear me out as I explain as a non-Persian diner (1) Their Ash reshteh, which is hard to come by, is yummy, comforting and very filling. (2) All of the kebabs and the meat are flavourful. Even something simple as a grilled chicken is beautifully seasoned. (3) They offer freshly brewed black tea and it’s delicious!!! Do yourself a favour and order it after your meal. (4) There’s Persian ice cream on the menu it’s delightful especially because of the rose & saffron flavour. Lots of pistachios on the outside & inside add texture. (5) There’s tahdig in the appetizer section. (6) Their baklava is fresh and crispy properly made with pistachios (not walnut!)

No garlic sauce given with chicken (nor was I asked if I would like that sauce which traditionally comes with it). Spicy chicken is no longer marinated, they now just add a spicy sauce on top of the regular chicken. Salads (fatoush and Greek) no longer have lettuce in them, just way too much green peppers. Baqlawa was dry.

soybean: I was a little scared about this place because of the reviews, but I was in the mood for Mediterranean so I went anyways. Glad I did! We ordered the falafel plate and the mixed shwarma wrap. Both were delicious, especially the falafel. The cashier was quiet(but was generally kind) and the shwarma was a little dry, but ordering tahini definitely helped. The fries are not hand cut as advertised, they looked like frozen McDonald's style fries and I got about 15 of them for $5.There was the option to pay to add sides which I thought would be a fun way to try things out, but they removed the salad that was supposed to come with the platter and piled the additional sides all on top of each other, only adding one falafel when I ordered two which was really disappointing as well. They also didn't include utensils which I had requested.I only got two bites in, and I already am feeling sick.
