E J Hrynowski: After a home inspector found issues with our burner that our previous provider missed, we switched to Arlington Fuel and couldn't be happier. I forgot to schedule an annual service for the burner and understood it would take a while for the visit. Not long after I got a call that there was an opening due to a cancellaton, and the techncian fixed the issue identified by the home inspector and resolved another problem that could have been a serious safety issue. A couple months later we were without heat when a component failed and Arlington Fuel was in the basement working on it in fifteen minutes. Five star service without a doubt, HIGHLY recommended.

Karen: Stay away from this place. Arlington Oil service is very quick because if is local but it is very lack of organized. It’s contract is vague and won’t protect you from conflicts. They will find all possible excuse to charge you extra money.We called Arlington Oil for a heating system service call which was payed by service contract. later on it turned out to be a plumbing issue. We decided to move forward to a different plumber contractor. But obviously, it upsets Arlington Oil, and although NO plumbing services have been done and Arlington was asking us to pay FULL plumbing service fee! Crazy! Stay away!

Steve Alvarez: Arrogant rude customer service, over-priced oil they don't seem to want to deliver when you need it, and the service on the unit not good. Switched to Cubby oil who is the exact opposite.
Green Vale: Roberto Fuel used to be great when Chuck Roberto owned the company. Chuck always had the lowest prices, best service, and would go out of his way to treat his customers right. Unfortunately, he sold the company to Arlmont Fuel and things changed for the worst. Their fuel prices are now about 40 cents per gallon higher than a lot of the other providers and they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them when you call.
Benjamin Corduck: I've been using Roberto Fuel Inc. for years. No complaints. The service team knows my boiler and keeps it running perfect. The fuel truck has always kept my tank full. I have checked their fuel prices and they are always fair market value.I would recommend Roberto to anyone looking for oil fuel and or boiler service.

Daniel Harrington: A JOB WELL DONE!On 16 June 2022, the MacFarlane Energy Co. sent two HVAC technicians, Jonathan McElroy & Jordan Trombley, to my home, in order to install air conditioning line sets.Before the appointment day, MacFarlane had sent me numerous emails and text messages confirming the service appointment as well as a photo of each technician. This was a nice addition to the messages which provided added security of who to expect to service the equipment.The team arrived on time. Jonathan McElroy explained to me, what and how, he and Jordan Trombley would repair the HVAC equipment. The team was at my home for a full day. Periodically Jonathan, would explain each step that they were working on and the outcome. Jordan was a keen observer of what Jonathan was explaining to me. Jordan would also provide his expertise on the procedure involved at that time.The team took numerous readings from their equipment to insure that everything was at the correct pressure readings and the mini splits were operating correctly at peak performance.Overall I am very satisfied with the performance of the MacFarlane Energy team members, Jonathan McElroy and Jordan Trombley.Daniel HarringtonWalpole, MA

They are very knowledgeable and helpful with the Mass Save program, were the best quote I received from the 5 installers I engaged (and even pointed out how a few were trying to oversell me unnecessary added capacity and complexity). They were communicative on timeline as we battle supply chain delays and hammered out the install with great attention to detail as soon as the equipment came in. Would highly recommend MacFarlane for any HVAC service and particularly Mass Save minisplit install.

Richard Troupes: This was the second time Trevor was at the house. On arriving he remembered to asked if we had any problems with the thermostat controls ghat he had replaced a few weeks earlier. Even though the system was installed by another company, he was very knowledgeable about its operation. He did a tune up of the system and looked at the condenser after my wife asked him. We will ask for him whenever we need to have work done. Very happy with MacFarlane and will call them again without hesitation.

Stacey McCullough: After looking at a bunch of options, I picked S&D oil because of their rare combination of excellent reviews and low cost, and because John made a great first impression on my vetting call.I signed up a few weeks ahead to get a first fill in mid-November, mistakenly thinking I was leaving plenty of buffer. I didn't keep an eye on the gauge, and he hadn't quite made it to us when we ran out... on Thanksgiving morning! I called in wondering if anyone would be picking up messages on the holiday. John did within minutes, and came out and filled our tank right away, saving us from a very cold holiday. He was completely gracious about it, without any hint that perhaps there were places he's rather be on Thanksgiving. We waited until after he'd left to open the bill, wondering what kind of furnace priming and emergency service charges we might have racked up due to the worst-case timing... and found he didn't charge us a penny above the oil itself.Definitely feeling like I made the right choice for our new supplier! Doug Peterson, who provides the service for the furnace in cooperation with S&D, is also great.
