Simoni Skating Rink: what do users think?
Helen Photos: we rented this place out for an event and they failed to accommodate even half of our provided capacity. would not recommend ever. such poorly managed and planned out.
Ben Hunsberger: Bad event hosting
Lital Asher-Dotan: Nice rink, not too cold, sufficient parking spot, close to Star Market and Marshalls.
Sávio Júnior: Great for kids
Adrian B: Nice rink! There's also lessons running every week for any age group.
TJ Swiderski: Ice was in great condition and the staff was very helpful
Vincent Harris: Nice place to ice skate good for kids to good when it's hot out side good hockey game
Zuleyka Batista: Family ambience ,youth and kid hockey
Samuel Kravitz: Great place to watch a game. Nice environment with friendly staff
Becky Romatoski: Pro shop hours: M-F 5pm-8pm, Sat 9:30am-6pm, Sun 3:30pm-6pm
David Dana: Old school roller blading - Bronx vs. Boston - with food trucks parked outside how awesome is that? The crowd is mixed and pretty knowledgeable about the players and when I asked how the hell this game is played people were really helpful. Let me say another good thing about the food trucks: oysters, fish tacos, wow. Get to a roller blade match at Simoni Rink (just don't park in the mall parking lot).

Skate @ Canal District Kendall: what do users think?
kingsley st jean: That was a good experience, for first time trying ice skating, the space is not to big so that give every body whise trying ice skating cor the firat time to have a closer thing to stay on the for a little rest
Alain Bolaños: Buen ambiente. Chicos muy amables y serviciales. Me hicieron descuento porque me estacioné en un parking sin validación.
Christopher Fernandes: This rink is conveniently situated in Kendall Square close to restaurants and the T, and I enjoyed skating there. The skating throng is amiable and of all ages at night, when the lights create a lively mood.
Jane Hannah: Amazing location a reasonably priced, well-kept rink. There is a worker who skates like a sleek speed demon, and it is fascinating to see.
Lydia Chew: An outdoor ice skating rink during the winter. Tickets are $16 (includes skate rentals). They have both figure skating and hockey skates. The rink is smaller than the indoor ice skating rinks I'm used to, but comparable to other outdoor rinks. The view isn't as nice as the one at other Boston rinks (like the Frog Pond at the Boston Common or 401 Park at Fenway), but slightly cheaper to compensate. There are quite a few businesses nearby where you can get a hot drink or a bite to eat.
Joshua Soto: Awesome spot for a quick stake. Not too crowded and well maintained.
Michael Moussa: Can't beat the price
Laurie Lodge: Very attentive instructor, great experience!
Brian Foley: Staff was great - they made everything really easy (except for the skating itself, of course, but hopefully that'll come in time!)
Igor Toropov: Nice rink near office. Half size of standard hockey rink.
Raffi Raffi: OMG SO FUN MY CHILDHOOD LIFE WAS THERE ALWAYS
Maurice Karpman: Outdoor skating is fun, but rink is small and oddly shaped.
Scott Shedeck: Helpful and friendly staff, but small rink that gets super busy and chaotic
Tammy Wong-Bigelow: They are very nice and the prices are very reasonable. When the skates I bought online were hurting my feet, they allowed me to use their rental skates free. My 5 and 2.5 year olds had fun there.
Basak Ozer: My 5 year old took a lesson with Imani. At this age young when trying something new, connection is what matters the most, and the teacher makes a huge difference. Imani is gifted with little kids. My daughter felt comfortable, safe, had so much fun, and wants to try again. Imani was helpful answering lots of questions from us parents as well. thank you
Chris Mauri: Nice place to be outside on a warm winter day. All skill levels represented so great place for beginners to slide around.
Sarah Dewart: Excellent teachers. Great staff. Very clean and well run.
Katelyn Crossley: The staff and service here was above and beyond expected. They made sure that we had everything we needed and it was a wonderful day.
Heather Satterwhite: Such a fabulous local rink!
Keila Knobel: My 13 y.o. had her first ice skating lesson at the Skate @ Canal District Kendall and she had a great time
Theresa Vallese: I enjoyed skating in this rink which is conveniently located in Kendall Square near the T and food venues. During the night, the lights make the atmosphere festive, and the crowd that is skating is friendly and includes all ages.

Johnson Ice Rink: what do users think?
Jason White: Super fun and addictive
Rayhua Wu: Compared to Walker (Building 50), this is the much preferable place to get to take one's finals. The building is so much nicer.
Ed Eisenstein: Ice is nice!
Sunil Narang: Kids love this place
Jonathan Mills: Kinda run down building definitely needs work
chef Soko: Smooth concrete floors, very consistent on level, and easy to access structurally sound beams for rigging. Parking challenges and subway grating on loading dock is only negatives!
Sheldon Ross: I was there while there was no ice Rink. The location was reprurposed for another type of event. But MIT has an athletics complex!
Haeseong Kim: MIT student price 5$ for skate rental
Kehily arita: Muy bueno
Albert Gnadt: It's a skating rink
Adrian B: Bill sharpens skates quite well! The ice is nice and on weekdays, its pleasantly quiet! Much quieter than other rinks, letting you practice spins and jumps safely. The ice is harder than ideal sometimes though.
Hashim A: Best place to play hockey in Cambridge!
Daniel Gorbunov: One of the best rinks in Massachusetts!
Victor Brunko: An excellent place to have some fun and exercises
David Cohen (SpeedSkaterBoston): Ice rink open to the MIT community.
Steven Anthony Rivera: alright rink, kind of old looking
Jeanie Pearson: Ice is kinda crappy but it's free for MIT students with skates
Jakob Weisblat: Not an ice rink in the summer
Mason Astley: Pretty standard ice rink
David Walter: Pretty fun to go ice skating during the school year, but many times they will run out of popular sizes.
Kay G: Very spacious. Love the MIT facilities.

The Skating Club of Boston: what do users think?
Chris Murphy: First time visitor to the club for open public skate. We called ahead to confirm we could rent one of the skate assist units for our toddlers to use (first time on the ice for both of them) and we were reassured that if we arrived early, we could claim one for our session. We arrived 20-25 min early and all skate assist units were already “reserved” for a private birthday party. We get out on the ice with my two little ones and the birthday party is using the only 5 skate assist units as ride on toys pushing each other around at high speeds and messing around - all kids were 8+ year olds. Please fix this - discourages us from wanting to come again/peruse any lessons or courses from your location.
Mary: It is the best place to take your kids for ice skating classes. Both group classes and private classes are available. There are also some charging stations available in the parking lot.
Bruce Barnett: Exceptional facility for folks who love ice skating.
Kelly Angelo: I thought it was great went for the National Excel Skating Competition. We all had a great time. I didn't realize how big this place is. I found pictures of my cousin from his high school hockey days back in the 60's. This place is amazing
Tom Tom: Beautiful facility showing dedication to figure skating first. Wonderful.
Joshua Jadwin: Only a review of Skating Academy Boston. Not the skating club as a whole. Very disappointed. Tried for two classes. Save your money and take the kids to open/family skate and teach them yourself. Would not recommend for novice skaters under 6 years old (maybe this is too young to teach skating for most kids anyhow) . Nevertheless, the actual instructors seemed to have little training. Some did not know how to encourage or talk to young children. The teacher to student ratio was insufficient. A supervising on ice instructor was abrupt and and borderline mean to my little guys. Class felt haphazard (Evan more than usual for a class of 4 year olds). No effort for the type of imaginative play that I've seen with soccer and swimming classes for kids of the same age. There were different instructors each week which makes it tough for kids trying something new.
walid makouk: Best in the east
Todd Nichols: Beautiful Rink..
Eric Gagnon: The club is open! Everyone needs to wear masks, and only 10 skaters per session are allowed on the ice, and coaches need to stay on the boards, but the club is open and Triple Axel's are being practiced.
David Velepec: Went to visit the rink but we were told it was for members only and we were asked to leave. Maybe the women at the desk could of asked us if we were interested in a tour.
Tony R: Wish I could give 0 stars based solely on the utter buffoons that drive in and out of this place.
Mark Seu: This is the best figure skating club ever
Robert Allen (86Carrera): This is a beautiful facility to watch figure skating in. The seats are very comfortable. There is a good amount of parking. The facility is clean and kept up nicely.
Richard Fernandes: Beautiful place for skaters
Matthew Mattis: I will share my experience with the Skating Club of Boston. But, I would like to call out some reviews where I find it really pointless.Parking - Yes, they charge for parking because they need to maintain the building and make money. Try going to a concert or sporting events, they charge more than $15 to park!Eating - they have a small restaurant that makes a good amount of plates and there is an upstairs bar for members only. The only problem is that they tend to close earlier than the rink and it's expensive.Free ice - not sure what one member wants. But, complaint that there wasn't "open ice". Do you mean Public Skating? They have it on Fridays and Saturdays. If you're talking about pond ice, then make an effort to make one of your own and maintain it. Either that, move to Minnesota where they're are plenty of them there.Instructors - they will help your kid. But, they're your kid and your kid is more comfortable with you tying their skates or fixing gear. The Instructors are there to teach and will help if needed. It's not a daycare where you drop them off and leave. Seriously.Speed bumps - I agree that the speed bumps are very large and it's because idiots have sped and almost hit several people in the past. That's the reason they put it there. When it first opened, the bumps weren't there. But, after several close calls, they decided to make them. And, they made them bigger because the original design, people still sped through. So, if you're bottoming out, it means you're going to fast!As far as the facility, it's a nice facility, restaurant needs to match the hours of the rink and the store pretty much makes their own hours. Good luck trying to sharpen your skates if needed as you need to make an appointment and it could be days. Sometimes, they offer walk-ins. But, rarely. As far as the facility for training, it's great for elite skates. But, maybe too much for beginners/recreational. Some coaches tend to use the hallway and comfort areas, making it very irritating for parents waiting for their skaters or trying to squeeze in some work.
David W.: Nice and new looking rink but really wish they had better wifi since on their best day it's barely 1.5mbps. I also wish they put in a restaurant/bar like most new rinks these days have instead of just a snack bar. Last gripe is that they didn't build enough parking for events so they charge $15 for parking which is kind of crazy given that you already are buying tickets for the event/show...shouldn't that include parking since there is no other way to get there and it's in a very industrial area.
Gerry Gan: Incredible skating venue! ...and it's not freezing rinkside!
Vik K: Great place to skate with a group for fun, but not the best spot to practice any skills. Extremely crowded on weekends, the facilities are all new and clean. Beautiful second floor, with a library and lounge. Good place to take your kids, even beginners.
George Athanasiou: We had BOCH ICE and settled instead for this highly privileged skating club which to my knowledge doesn’t even have open ice for the public?? Great!!!Froggy's "pond" or Hartshorns Swail (park) which is a humongous field (that is below grade) Norwood fills with water every winter for the town to skate is a great alternative!...If only the weather would comply & stay frozen And then we wouldn’t need all these overprice skating rinks that have no time available for paid open ice.
Nagela Nukuna: Only the most incredible skate shop! I love it here - the staff is incredible, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The facility in general is tremendous. Love this rink!

Ed Burns Arena & Ice Skating Rink: what do users think?
Sarah McDonnell: 4❄️. Typical rink. Nothing fancy. Women's bathroom had 2 stalls, 1, which was broken door but it was clean at least. The snack bar is open most times, and there are vending machines. Parking can be tight if activities are at fields on either side. Easy to photographer from the bleachers with no netting.
Heber Romero Téllez (Psehgaft / Cookiemonster): Excellent place for get fun family moments
Olga Pekalska: Fantastic arena, great service by staff and location is great.Skating is amazing, even for first timers. Will definitely be back again.
Drhhtff: w place fr
Jim Elsenbeck: It was fun to try and skate again, and introduce our granddaughter to skating. Rental skates in pretty good condition, facility clean, prices very reasonable. The day we went was perfect, not crowded at all. Lot's of other beginners. Recommend the milk crates for helping first timers!
Patti Alquist: Very friendly staff, fun environment for all skill levels.
Leah Woolf: I’ve been going here since I was little. It holds a lot of memories, and it is a wonderful place for all sorts of people. Great for kids
Siri Belton: Cash only, popular public skating. Dull rentals, but good hockey skates otherwise. Won't sharpen personal skates either.
Dan Whittier: Solid 5 on 5 for a Thursday mid day stick and puck
Buddy Boy: Ed Burns was my High School math teacher in 1975. He was a great hockey coach because he was an expert in Geometry so knew angles and were the puck would land after hitting a certain area of the boards. He was also fascinated about why students stood in a circle when they smoke a joint. This was 1975 so a lot of that happened in HS back then. RIP big guy.
Samantha Desmarais: Great place for public skate. Well controlled for social distancing, masks required, so we felt safe. Maximum 25 people felt like not a lot of people on the ice. So fun to skate here.
Maggie Fleming: The staff here was super helpful sharpening my skates and making sure my old skates were safe to skate on. I came here from a neighboring town that was not so helpful with this. I wish during public skate there was an adult or older teen enforcing the pre-teens to be a little more careful. Lots of experienced skater kids not being courteous of other skaters of all ages and abilities. This isn't a good place to skate on a Friday night if you aren't the best skater. I felt like I was at a middle school dance. To be fair I did the same thing as a kid 😂 With a skate guard they could encourage reversing direction after cleaning the ice to be good to your old lady body. I prefer the frog pond in Boston where they do that, and there's more adults than kids.
Bob Vincent: Really cold rink.
Hendrick Melo: Best ice skating arena for general public skating in the metro west area. Two hour blocks on the weekends make a really pleasurable time to skate with family and/or get a nice workout.
Amber Bifolck-Fisher: We have been coming here for youth skate lessons for two years and my child is always making progress. Very much satisfied.
Murph The Man: Ice ice baby
Amber Whizin: Yes, great ice rink. Go there.
Max C.: Well maintained local skating rink. I only wish they had a free hour a week skating sessions like Medford and Somerville, if necessary free for ARL residents. I'd then come there more often.
MaryAnn Corliss: Cold rink, great seating.
Brenda Ferro: It's great because you can see clear through the glass. Feels like your right on top of the game. Great view
Babak Cohanim: Can get really crowded
