CHA East Cambridge Care Center: what do users think?
Renan Miranda: Always very well taken care of my self, very good staff, nurses, doctors, every one treats you very good,My primary Doctor Cassie F. Is always awesome, she treats me very well, she is very worried with everything that is possible going on, last time she went above and beyond to help me with problems,So Thank you Doc, and every single one that works here and at the CHA.
Jack D.: The care was fine. Their billing customer service is awful. They will not ask if they don't have your insurance info and bill you an inflated price for your care.
Michael Feigenson: We had a wonderful visit as always!
Johnson Lin: Sandra is the best nurse, and the front desk staffs are helpful. The CHA at assembly row closed accidentally, and we visited CHA at East Cambridge for assistance. They helped us out efficiently and patiently informed further solutions for us.
Anna Friedrich: Were castigated severely by the front desk lady for being late. After abusing us, the lady spoke in a simpering tone to a nurse on the inner phone in front of us, the patients: an ailing fatigued mother who had dragged two toddlers through terrible heat.
Charlotte Xia: Charge absurd facility fees for a televisit.
Paulo Alvarenga: Tivemos excelente experiência sob os cuidados deles
Marcos araujo: Se frank.. no good do dr.
VB S: Not professionals at all.very rude people ,Stay away from this place if you can. They treated me awful a few times.
Christopher Daley: The staff are wonderful and the building is brand new.
Sophia Wells: My medical appointment visits are always 😊 helpful according to my schedule with excellent 👌 medical doctor and nurses
juggawest: Mostly empty
Joanne Musto Pacheco: Christina was great, explaining things to me about my health, Very helpful!
Izamara Damazio: I’m being a patient since 2002 and love the environment, doctors and staff
Dawn McCormack: Amy is the best
iSantoS: Good service Safe environment
Rosie De Assis: I like the steps they are taking in keeping everyone safe in this covid era.
Vicky Tran: I was a new client to CHA Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge @163 Gore St #2 last year and visited them once and never come back again. This is the worst location and I'll not recommended to anyone of my friends. I wish I could give a zero star to this place.1. The customer service is the worst, they never pickup their phone and this literally every time I called them, I waited for more than 10+mins.2. I went for a physical checkup at this location, all the doctor did was asked me a FEW QUESTIONS and sent me home. Later they sent me a bill for $140 (which I already paid them $82 out of my pocket, which I shouldn't do it). I've tried to resolve the issue with them multiple times but it useless, and also have mentioned this MULTIPLE TIMES during and before my visited that if something they'll charge me out of my insurance service they should have let me know.3. I had another Pap smear appointment with this location, they called to cancel my appointment a NIGHT before my visit which I already requested to take a day off from work for my visit.4. The technology they use are outdated.5. The HR is a mess, all they can do or can say is "there is nothing I can do about it". I wonder what they're hiring for?6. Overall, this location is trying to get you visit them as much as possible and does some extra things or trying to overcharge your insurance for it. And what happens is that if your insurance does not cover. They will just continuously send you the bills or send your account to the Debt collection.WARNING, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!
Marcia Goncalves: Been going there and seeing the same doctor for 22 years.
Annabelle Costa: This is the 3rd CHA location I've seen a PCP at. Hate the Revere office and Everett office is ok but they are often running late. When my PCP left CHA altogether I was on the hunt for a new one and found a doctor i liked out of the E. Cambridge office. Nicest facility I've been to at CHA. The staff are exceptional. My first appointment there everyone I crossed paths with welcomed me to the office. I really love my new PCP, Dr. Batlamarthy (spelling might be off). Happy I made the switch
Mirem Rivera: Awesome service going in all the way to coming out. Dr and nurse are the best! 💯

Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care - The Marino Center for Integrative Health: what do users think?
Eelie T: Impossible to get an appointment because no one answers the phone - you have to leave messages but never get calls back!! Karen, the scheduler, says you’ll get a call back by “end of day” in her voicemail greeting yet 2 weeks later, I’m still waiting after multiple messages. It’s infuriating and no way to run a practice. I will be looking elsewhere for care.
Fatima Titi: I just chick in for my follow up with my doctor. The lady that she works downstairs to the right( customer service ) has a poor customer service/ she doesn't know even know how much is my co-payment and answer to any of my questions and she did refuse to gave me a receipt after I swept my card twice, she was completely rude to me.
PaD GAP: Superb care!
Betty Yu: I’ve been coming here for 10 years. I had other providers until I was forced to switch to Dr. Hiromichi Miyashita because my PCP was overbooked.Best thing that ever happened to me. Dr. Horomichi Miyashita is a gentle soul, a great listener, and very honest. He’s extremely intelligent but never condescending. His staff are great, remember me by my name and always goes above and beyond to help me where it’s for refills or referrals. I truly feel like Dr M cares about his patients as more than just numbers. Very lucky to have him as my provider.
Christina Ptak: I came here for years to see Dr Eliezer. Since she left I’m not happy with Marino center. A couple weeks ago I went in to see Dr Miyashita for radiating shoulder pain, where I was sent to have xrays. I was told the Dr would call and give me my results within a certain timeframe. He didn’t so I called Marino Center to inquire and still didn’t get a callback.Yesterday I called at 9am to see if they could call in an antibiotic for a UTI. I am all too familiar with UTIs and can easily identify it, gave them my symptoms and requested some one call a Rx in as I was in pain. They said latest they would get back to me was 4pm?!I wait ALL DAY. Finally someone gets back to me to tell me Dr Miyshita left early without taking care of it and Dr Pugh wouldn’t write a Rx unless I came in. WHY? I have been a patient there 8 years. There is no test for a UTI. I seemed like a way to run up a bill. Poor customer experience. I’m done.
Linda Roberts: I have been going here for over 20 years and only have wonderful things to say about Marino's! Nearly every doctor, specialist, nurse, etc I have ever seen there were nothing short of Amazing, and contributed greatly to my health and wellness journey! The are all about healing, body mind and spirit and care deeply.
Brooke Christensen: I’ve been a patient of the Marino Center for almost 8 years. Dr Pugh is practical and thorough. He found something none of my other primary care doctors had. I love how they have labs there including an EKG. When I was pregnant with my first, I thought I had the worst case of the flu ever known to man. It turned out I had hyperemesis gravidum. The doctor who saw me truly cared and wouldn’t let me leave until they gave me 2 bags of fluid in their office. After that, my OB always sent me to the emergency room, which was not as nice and quite expensive. I recently saw Dr Miyashita for 2 sick visits. He spent 45 minutes with me the first time listening and trying to help. The second time he found what we think was wrong with me. He never rushed me and he seems like a really good doctor. I like the Marino Center for how they have so many things in one location too and the nurses who have helped me or answered my calls have also been awesome. The office is clean and updated inside, making me feel comfortable. There has always been parking too even though there are not that many spots.
lisa deker: I have been going to the Marino Center in Cambridge since 1999. I have received wonderful care and was able to discuss any issues at ease. Dr. Pugh has been my primary doctor since day one (1999) and I hope he never retires :-). Donna Georges was my primary nurse and always looked beyond her knowledge in the effort to seek best treatment if she didn't have a straight answer for it. Aside from great medical care, on the admin/reception sides, while I recognize at some point the answering service was not that great (hence the 4 stars), I feel it has improved tremendously. I have encountered great professionalism from Deb who always tries to accommodate my (sometimes) quick appointments' needs. Of course things have changed a bit since the center has been affiliated to the Mt Auburn hospital, but I am really happy that the Marino's team kept their primary focus which was to serve the patient in the most "natural" caring form they could provide. They have managed to keep a good balance between traditional and progressive health practices. I feel I can benefit from both "sciences" in order to keep my health in good check. I highly recommend the Marino center and its dedicated health team. And thank them for their dedication to patient care and well being. Keep the good work!
Marilyn Hilliard: I came across an article in a magazine in the Whole Foods check-out line about scalp acupuncture for tinnitus. After years of unmitigated suffering, I found a specialist at the Marino Center, the closest credentialed facility near me. After my first visit there were immediate results in the volume and intensity of the noise. It has been years since I had peace and quiet. Second session was today. I am looking forward to great things from Ms. Vicky Chen, acupuncturist extraordinaire.
Florinda Freda: I rate this place one star not for their doctors but for their customer service. Poor social skills, they always seem angry and uninterested and so unfriendly, my blood pressure is usually high the first time it is taken. Also, if the office is closed, often you are asked to wait until the next person is available to answer. I was first in line for 45 minutes two times in a day only to find out they were not open. I am tired of the poor customer service and am currently looking for new doctors. I
Brendan Luther: The Doctor was thorough and nice however the bill I received seemed way higher than expected for the lab work. I never received a physical bill outlining if it had gone through insurance. Wanting to better understand the bill, I called the Marino Center's Billing department 6 times over 3 months, left messages (no one ever picked up) and was never called back. Even got Mount Auburn Hospital (the parent hospital) involved and even they could not get answers from the Marino Center. Unbelievably bad customer service.
Alexander Noviello: Miyashita is a fantastic doctor
Abigail Carpenter-Winch: Had a horrible experience with them messing up the billing, was passed from person to person over the course of months.
Randi Alvarado: This office is completely non-responsive to any request, and you wait on hold for at least 10 minutes every time you call for anything.I asked for a referral to see an allergist during my appointment and the doctor said she would have someone email me , no emails were ever received even after following up I received no referralTo make matters worse, I called for a refill on my asthma medications repeatedly for 2 weeks before they told me my Dr. was on maternity leave (which makes sense as to why they were never called in), the after hours physician was the one who told me and wound up calling them in.If I could give less than one star, I would.
sidney brien: The Marino Center in Cambridge, MA is an oasis of excellent health care and patient concern. The whole staff is very attentive, courteous, pleasant and patient when necessary. My PCP, Dr. Pugh, really cares about my health and, though I have mostly had very well educated and effective doctors, he is the best Physician/Teacher I have ever had. I always learn something from him with every visit and his comments direct me to my own further research. Some doctors just let you discover important facts on your own time. I hate that. In addition it is a multi-disciplinary medical center with its own diagnostic lab and it is easy to get to. Thanks Marino Center.
Alex Mottern: The main gym of Northeastern, means it's always kinda busy. You should be able to get the machine you want though, so long as it's for cardio because they have at least 5 of everything. They have classes, which I've heard good things about, but haven't been yet.The track is great, and theres a lot of room for people to go at different paces.Great view of Huntington, which is great for people watching if you're bored on your treadmill/bike/elliptical.

MIT Medical: what do users think?
Samuel: Convenient if you are on the MIT health insurance and want something close by, but consistently poor quality of service. I have had multiple occasions where the receptionist forgets to mark me as checked in, so I end up waiting in the waiting room until I go back up to the receptionist. My PCP has misdiagnosed me even after I explicitly asked if I had a certain condition, so I normally try to bypass the PCP and just ask for a referral to a specialist. Urgent care often sends me on my way with no information on followup unless I specifically ask (e.g. for a referral to a specialist or physical therapy).
Buck Leach: Have never had a problem with my health care. Courteous, professional and helpful care.
Morgan J: The nurses are absolutely horrible and don’t actually help you. The doctors are all extremely fatphobic. 0/10 but unfortunately I have the MIT insurance and have to come here. The male (bald) front desk assistant at primary care is AMAZING and so helpful though!!!!!
Hilary Chang: I had a terrible pain in my throat due to covid so I requested an urgent care appointment. There seems to be some mistakes in booking that when I arrived the front desk could not find my name on the list. But they quickly resolved the issue and got me in a room for treatment. I was impressed how welcoming the front desk were. I did not expect such a warm greeting since as today lots of people have already gotten covid. The front desk kindly asked how I feel and suggested me to use the grocery service when she knew I live on campus. That was extremely helpful. Dr. Luanne was very kind and caring. She gave me a through examination and very useful suggestions. It was a relief to receive such a warm and caring treatment in the hell of covid pain. Thank you all medical workers for providing such a wonderful experience in the time of covid.
Sam Maldonado: Rude/unfriendly staff
Hao-Wei Pang: I had an appointment at 10 am for a test at the second floor and checked in on time. I waited till 10:30 am and no one came to claim me for my appointment. When I asked what’s going on, it turned out they don’t even know who is supposed to do the test for me and they didn’t bother to figure it out until I asked. It makes me wonder if they really know what they are doing. Very unprofessional.
Will Bradshaw: Rudest receptionist I've ever met
Star “LoveIsWicked” Water: Hello. At MIT medical there is only ONE good nurse that actually asks how you’re doing. Next, the doctor rushed through us and also told us that the Urgent Care only focuses on the throat and other upper areas, even though my son had really bad leg pain. The nurse asked what the scale out of 10 was and he said 9 which was horrible!
C: I have had mostly pleasant experiences at MIT Medical, but for this experience, I would give 0 stars if I could.I called to confirm that my partner (an affiliate who had recently graduated) was still covered under the student plan after he was involved in a car accident. The person on the line confirmed that he was.He brought his medical insurance card to Urgent Care and they AGAIN confirmed that he had coverage. After all exams (x-rays, a splint) and a few hours, he was notified as he was leaving that he DID NOT have coverage and would be marked as a self-care patient. If we had known that he did not have coverage, we would have explored different options instead of settling immediately on MIT Medical after being MISINFORMED (TWICE) about the status of our insurance. We are currently awaiting a reply from the student plans office regarding this situation and will update this accordingly.
Mircea Dinca: Unless you are literally dying, avoid this, as you will never be attended to.
Ginnette Powell: Dr. Nguyen in dental is awesome. I'll be asking for her for all my appointments.
Lennart Bock: Was there for urgent care and definitely recommend MIT Medical. Very skilled and friendly personnel!Make sure to make an appointment online to skip the line.
Ali Daher: Horrible service. One doctor in urgent care had me promise after I was trying to convince her of crucial tests precribed by my PCP (who was not available that week and told me to pass by urgent care) that she would only do them if I promised she would not be responsible for following up with me on the test results. It was absolutely humiliating.
Sam Locke: I've been to a lot of doctors in my day. Not all of them have been particularly warm, welcoming, or acted like they wanted me there. Never so much as at MIT Medical, however, wherein I was scrutinized without a filter by Dr. Amirnazmi, who was appalled by the medication I was taking to the point of speaking most unprofessionally about it, as well as the state of my hair [something I am sensitive about] which was in bad shape due to illness. Her bluntness, abruptness, and the way she rushed around was exhausting. She did manage to listen to a couple of my concerns, but namely, I felt like a number instead of a person. I suppose that's the cost of attending a busy university facility, though. And it seems a lot of people had similar experiences.
Libby Falck: Wish I could rate different departments separately. Urgent care is AMAZING. Can be a bit of a wait at the wrong time but the people are lovely, kind, caring, and everything a healthcare team should be. The pharmacy is HORRIBLE. Seriously - get your meds somewhere else if you can. The pharmacists are unfriendly, unhelpful, and generally don’t seem to give a damn about patients.
Michaye Ledford: Extremely sexist. The first time I went with light-headedness, fatigue, and fainting spells, they wrote it off as "this is normal for women" and told me to "just go eat some protein." It took them a week to diagnose me with anemia and repeated effort on my part to say "I think this is what my symptoms mean."Now having abdominal pain up to my ribs, they won't throw off the theory of menstrual cramps. Pretty sure my uterus doesn't go up into my ribcage, thanks.I've had a friend who went for wrist pain which they diagnosed as a sprain; it was fractured. They obviously try to rush diagnoses and "wait out" any illnesses they can't think of off the top of their heads.
Vira Semenova: Update:My older experience was OK, but the service today was excellent! They treat abdominal pain very seriously and promptly.I was in fever having 102F, called MIT Medical Saturday 9am and asked for telephone instructions. Had to wait two hours and make 2-3 more calls to finally speak to a doctor. Was subsequently prescribed peptobismol for absolutely zero complaints of stomach problems (it was actually sore throat).Visited next hour in person using Uber, got steroids that helped immediately.
rajesh sharma: Surroundings are neat. Wait time is typically 1 hr. The treatment process is very slow.
SUN JIN MOON: Worst. Very slow. It takes avg. 2 hour before talking to a nurse. No doctor at first sight. No appointment. I come here because of school insurance. But I will never come here if I have to pay myself
Wenmin Chen: My experience with MIT medical in the past year has been a complete nightmare. Before I go into the details I must point out that I actually really like my primary care physician at MIT Medical and have only positive things to say about her. However, MIT pediatrics, Urgent Care, and pharmacy have been just awful. First, MIT urgent care prescribed incorrect dosage of medicine for my son and I only realized it because my son was prescribed the same medicine before. After the medicine problem was corrected, I was short 15ml of the medicine and MIT pharmacy refused to give me the medicine. Second, a doctor at MIT pediatrics misdiagnosed appendicitis as constipation even though I kept saying it could be appendicitis, resulting in complications that landed my son in the hospital twice. I filed a complain and as a result they are now overreacting. Just yesterday, my son's primary care physician freaked out and asked me to take my son to the ER over the phone when it was not warranted. I told her it could be strep throat but she refused to listen and threatened me by saying she would still ask me to take him to the ER anyway if I wait to have her examine him no matter the outcome of her exam. After multiple hours of waiting in the ER and unnecessary tests and ultrasound, the diagnosis was indeed strep throat. So basically she wasted my time and my money ($100 ER copay vs. $10 at MIT medical) as well as thousands of dollars of insurer's money.
anthony duggins: On the few occasions I need to see my Primary Care Doctor the clinic only ever gives me an appointment approx 4 weeks away. Each time I have made an appointment for an annual checkup the original appointment is cancelled and another one made at a significantly later date. It is comforting and stress reducing to know I can use the English NHS when in England. The counter staff range from being unfriendly (therefore stress inducing) to friendly.

CHA Inman Square: what do users think?
Pietro Di Luzio: It’s convenient nearby where I live. I wish they would upgrade the phone system.
Kevin Lipert: This office is completely dysfunctional - they lied about calling for a Telehealth appointment that was needed for a deadline. Unreliable. I’ve heard that they also send their patients bills to debt collection agencies with no warning. Seriously, don’t go here.
Thomas Matthew Orr: UPDATE: I followed up as requested by CHA to discuss this experience. That email has received no response after 3 weeks....I'm new so I can't speak to the quality of care, but they need to seriously improve their handling of covid screening.I went in for an appt and was turned away at the door for a very minor and brief sore throat that I had a week prior. I mentioned this in an online pre-checkin screening 3 days prior, however, it seems that nobody had reviewed that form.I was told to self isolate and given a sheet explaining that I was at high risk of having covid. It took 30 minutes on hold to reach the "COVID triage center" at which point after two minutes it was concluded that the sore throat without a fever should not have been classified as a covid risk. However; since I was on hold for half an hour the appointment had lapsed, and I couldn't be seen for another 3 weeks. It's absurd that this screening couldn't have happened in real time, or before the appointment.
Cora Van Hazinga: I was charged a $40 copay for a well woman birth control visit. Called 5-6 times to have the copay removed. It is now in collections. This is not a good office for women.
Violet Neff: These kind and skilled folks work so hard for their community. I feel grateful every time I come in. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me and so many others.
Claudia Harmer: I've been trying to get in touch with my doctor but nobody will respond and the reseptionist had no idea what to do and this has been happening for two weeks.
Jill McCain: Luis, one of the medical assistants, is amazing. He goes above and beyond. I have taken my son, who is very anxious, twice now to do blood work with Luis. He had a terrible experience at Cambridge Hospital when one of their phlebotomists didn't hit a vein at first and so proceeded to move the needle around inside his arm to try to get it. Since then it's been extremely hard to get blood work done on him. Luis, though, was unendingly patient, creative and upbeat, and gained my son's trust. Our appointment today took an hour to complete because of my son's anxiety, but Luis stayed friendly and encouraging throughout the whole thing. I am so very grateful to him.
Teresa Reis: Website says they open at 8:00am. Just called. Office takes phone calls only at 8:30am. They should clarify that on their website.
mrsdrkn: A great practice
