Tuhina Dayal: Horrible customer service. I gave a saree blouse for stitching and they messed it up - put the closure in the back when I had specifically asked for a standard front closure blouse. Had to come back a second time because the measurements were off. So not only do I have a blouse that I cannot wear on my own (because of the hooks in the back) but the fit is not great. On top of that Smita herself was extremely rude and just walked away when I was telling her my displeasure.About 15 years ago, I went a couple of times to get my eyebrows threaded by Smita herself - and she never followed my instructions - just did what she wanted - her customer service was terrible back then too. So I stopped going.I was hoping after 15 years, customer service would have improved. But unfortunately they haven't.

She pretty much removed my eyebrows so when I went home I had to paint over them so I look normal. I am so upset with their service - really have been going there for years and so disappointed at their new staff and how unprofessional they are !

Vanita Sood: Smita is great, I've been going to her for years. She's always accommodating, even when I call last minute she tries to squeeze me in, which I appreciate given how busy she is. If she's booked at the time I request, she'll give me a few alternatives which is much more helpful than most other places that will just say "sorry busy at 3" - which isn't nearly as helpful as "busy at 3 but can you come to 2 or 5 instead?". Compared to other waxing places, she's also the most thorough and efficient. I've paid up to 3 times as much for a leg wax at a "luxury salon" only to see a big missed patch as I get dressed after the service and when I pointed it out, was told "sorry, we can fix it next time". Really? Well this has never happened at Smita's; she's systematic, doesn't miss patches, and does it all fast. The other thing that distinguishes Smita from other waxing places for me is she listen's to special requests - e.g. when I scraped my knee I asked her to avoid the scrape and she did. Others will nod and then go into autopilot and ignore any requests like that.

joe hoeboe: That dude Jason is super nice. I imagine he deals with some street stuff sometimes, and you can see his patience and acceptance extends out far around him. Has a good understanding of what it's actually like to busk too. Makes sure you're informed.
