100 Memorial Drive: what do users think?
Patricia Brown: Honestly, it’s a beautiful place to live in but the rent price is definitely ripped off. It’s way too expensive for what you get. I think they should lower the rent price reasonably.
Stella Fab: New tenantI'm giving it a 5, great location, stunning view of Charles River and Boston skylines. The fact that it's central to everything makes life super easy.Decent apartment with stairs on the inside, I like the added space, the window railings can use a bit of a touch up, but this is minor, and can be fixed by a simple coat.I really like the fact that I am able to wake up to the views every single day.The staffs are very helpfulIt might not be a modern apartment, but it's been retouched on the inside and feels very homely.Neighbors are polite & generally easy going. I love the tranquil that comes with the apartment and ofcourse its centralization.Cons:You have to pay a monthly fee for parking, when I rented here I wasn't sure I wanted a car, now that I'm planning to get one, this my only pain.
Vicky Xu: CKo is the most wonderful of hosts with a wonderful place. She has the most stocked of kitchens (she even has ketchup!) and the most ergonomic of work stations (there is even something cool you can stand on!!). Her walls are filled with pictures and love, and she has creams of all kinds you could ever want. And her presence of grace and care fills the entire space ❤️ 12/10 would recommend!
D AK: This place is a big scum !! And one of the worker was so rude with us and he was extremely disrespectful!! Thanks God we have not applied for this place!!
Jim T: The staff doesn’t make you feel at home. The apartment corridors are foul smelling. The only reason anyone signs a lease here is the balcony, but it's not worth considering that the balcony will be unusable for most months. Save your money!
Ivaana Muse: Really blessed to stay so close to campus in a very safe community and in the center of things.
Adam Hesterberg: Great views, pretty well sound-resistant walls, cheap for the location.
Mohammad Alkhadra: I've had an awesome experience living at 100 MD. The convenience (i.e., proximity to MIT) is simply fantastic, and the management and staff are friendly and hard-working. The building offers parking (though at a monthly cost) as well as small gym and a skyroom.
정은혜: I have lived in 100 Memorial Drive Apt since this year, and I am writing this review for the people whom are considering living here. PLEASE avoid living in this apartment and PLEASE do not make the same mistake that I have made.PROSOf course, there are pros. I chose to live here because of its fantastic view over the Charles River, but this is the only positive thing. The view of 100 memorial drive apartment is the best in Cambridge. You can appreciate the river, sky, and buildings always.CONS1. Constructions: there are a lot of construction near this apartment. There are supposed to be 6 roads to access the front of my apartment, but now only a one-way road is available (the back of the apartment is accessible through memorial drive, but forget about calling an Uber at this location). First, you have to detour to walk to subway stations. This apartment is very close to Kendall/MIT station (red line), you may walk to the subway station in 2 minutes without those constructions. However, due to the construction, you have no choice but to walk almost 10 minutes to get to the station. Moreover, there are dangerous trucks and instrument for the construction, so you have to be careful while walking near the apartment. Second, Uber drivers often cancel the ride, and many cannot find the entrance because of the construction (the most they can do is stay on Ames street; enjoy walking 5 minutes in heavy snow every time you call an Uber). This is not the driver's fault, but the construction. You have to call Uber drivers every time to make an adjustment. Lastly, if you have a car, you should also detour to arrive at your parking lot.2. Heating: maintenance already checked heater in November in my place. The maintenance contractors said it is ok. However, both November and December, even at temperatures at 46 degrees Fahrenheit (8 degrees Celsius) and 19 degrees Fahrenheit (-7C degrees Celsius), the heater was not working. I asked maintenance to fix it. However, the guy blamed me for two reasons. First, this apartment has central heating that will be turned when the outside degree is less 50F. Second, he checked my temperature (of course, the heater was broken, so the temperature was not correct), and said the temperature is normal. BUT I felt extremely cold, and asked him to check again. He was annoyed and called the heating company. I had to wait during the weekend, and bear with only small heater. When they finally checked my heater, they found that the heater was not turned on (the switch was inside the heater, where residents do not have access to). They never apologized.3. High price of rent: the rental price is ridiculous, compared to other apartments near Kendall Square such as Third Square or Watermark East/West, 100 memorial drive is cheaper (maybe $300). However, when we compare the facility and maintenance, other apartments are luxury apartments, and 100 memorial drive apt is too old and the price of rent should be lower by at least $800 per house.4. Old facilities: this apartment was built in 1970s. the kitchen is old and small. Even though there are a dishwasher and an oven, you cannot use them. Also, they often fix the water systems, so you cannot use the water once in every month (they do tell you in advance though). Elevator is old, and they maintain one of them frequently, disallowing the advantage of using two elevators. There are 400 units, using one elevator (except for elevator located in back door for heavy furniture or garbage) is very inconvenient. The windows are old as well, you can see rust on the sides.5. The scent of smoking: there are balcony and roof top in the apartment. I not sure where people are smoking. However, obviously, I could smell distinct scents of burning cigarettes and marihuana in the hallway. Now I am regretting living here, but I should live until my contract. I should have searched for as many reviews as possible on the internet or asked people living here. This is why I am writing this comment. Please think twice before you choose to live here.
Ruhua Jiang: Update July. Great! They are not only offering you early morning noise, but also night noise (7:50pm at this moment now and there is huge construction noise outside the building) as perks.-----2017 new tenant pay attention!! When you visit the apartment, you will see a huge construction site right next to the apartment (kendall T station direction instead of side facing the river). Every 7am there will be loud (seriously, just ask anyone who lives in this building where their apartment facing that direction, i think most of the apartments rooms are) construction noise, make sure you can take this and sleep well enough. Even foam earbuds won't works that well I have to say. The window can't reduce any noise unlike most modern apt window do, also, they can't keep you freezing in the winter either anyway. The good thing about this apartment is the staff are friendly, and you get the 24hour package handling. The major point of living here is to save you commute time if you work around Kendall Square. That's why I added one star. If they can do something about the window (which seems unlikely, because people has complaining for years, they seems don't care, might because there are so many people want to live here which drives the demand so high so they seems don't care about these "details" ... ), making it double window so can reduce noise and keep you warm at winter, then I would say it worth 3.8 star. It's expensive I have to say, but I am not complaining that, the location is just perfect. But paying such expensive with such living environment, I'd recommend think twice and ask someone who currently living here.
Abduala Ben Mahmoud: No idea about the staff but the building in general is old and shady
Nicola Ferralis: Management tried to convince me that an old apartment in the basement, with old and rusty kitchen was "vintage and people like vintage stuff". Snake oil salesman. Position is great but there is better housing around.
Renee Tavares: Gorgeous and uniquely designed.
Will Vahle: Excellent building
Lynx Carlton McClellan: The staff in the office are helpful and friendly - Tom, Nate and Mark : )Dennis in maintenance is professional and confident in his work - no worries with having him in your space. The residents on the elevator speak to each other and inspire a sense of community.Best of All - the "Concierge" Desk folks smile, offer helpful advice and keep your packages safe and ready for pick up!I love it!
Victor Wang: Really nice place to live in the heart of Cambridge/MIT/Kendall, with easy access to everything. They have been increasing their rent year over year (not surprisingly!), though if you are looking for convenience, it's still a good deal for all you get. The 24/7 concierge was really helpful for me, handling my tons of Amazon packages.

Mary Baker Eddy Monument: what do users think?
Brooks Payne: Glorious! "Mary Baker Eddy was buried in an open-air mausoleum that was designed by the renowned New York City-based architect Egerton Swarthout. Swarthout explained why he included no roof, saying there should be “nothing between the grave and sky but flowers.”
Te Liu: By the Halcyon Lake, beautiful, peaceful ad tranquil.
Jack Mathis: I discovered this monument (gravestone?) by accident when touring this park-like cemetery. It is by far the most beautiful I have ever seen anywhere. My understanding is that it was done against her wishes and so it's existence is not generally known. Christian Scientists do not worship the dead or idols. Death is considered an illusion, and man is spiritual, eternal. Nevertheless, it is a fitting tribute to a woman who was arguably the most famous woman in the world at the time, and in my opinion the greatest author of all time. Despite the signs, many young people were hanging out on the monument because of its sheer beauty and the view from it. It literally looks like it was built last month... so clean, so pure, so perfect.
Toby Delk: A beautiful place

808 Memorial Drive Apartments: what do users think?
Sophia Wells: Better then it was before many years ago it was old structure now today of 2021 is much better. Making people lives much healthy place to live with family or busy schedules come home to a much considerate and specific needs.
dorothy flynn: There is a transition in management going on right now that will benefit residents. This is a very special community . It exists because of a hard-won battle for people vs profit on prime riverfront property in Cambridgeport. Also central to its longevity has been local commitment to affordable housing. I can say from experience that mixed-income housing is key for survival of urban areas and the people who inhabit them. There is appreciation for different cultures here, and it is a wonderful place for young people to grow up. They are supported well here and - as has been proved -it takes a vIllage. I speak, by the way from nearly two decades of experience and also from a background in community development. Oh, yes, those Views...
Lim Keunyoung: Perfectly same experience with Kendra. Elizabeth and the leasing office was the worst ever. I called the office before visiting, and the staff said Elizabeth would call back; but not. When I came to the apartment for the tour, she did not show up without any notice. She just ignored our follow-up mail. She is a fraudster enjoying putting people through trouble with the fake. Very kind and quick response at the first email and disappear next.
Yonah: Disgusting.
Kendra: Worst staff I have ever dealt with. We made an appointment to view some apartments with the leasing specialist Elizabeth. We took off work early to view the apartments. We showed up and the front desk person said that Elizabeth didn't come in for work today and she was the ONLY person that had keys to the building. Not sure how that is even possible as this is a huge complex. We emailed Elizabeth and she did not even apologize for being a no show/no call. She just asked to reschedule. We asked if we could do this later (5:30PM) so we did not have to leave work early and she never responded. Not sure how they rent any apartments with that kind of staff.
Mike Livertovsky: Great location. Apartments are modest inside.
Jennifet Aiken: Dcf is in that building
John Glover: Great place to live security on property is excellent.
Xiong Zheng: Very good
Tingyu Liu: Filthy apartments. Poorly maintained
Nakia Smith: Needs to be updated
Timothy Smith: Good place to live
Arvand N: Some floors literally smell like trash due to the trash rooms
Pasqualino Ferralis: Beautifull panorama
Mathan Kumar: Disorganized and rude staff at leasing office. We haven't seen such a disorganized leasing office in years. We have been trying to contact the leasing office for the past 5 days.. Even after leaving voicemail after voicemail, no one called us back. Their website said open today but no one in leasing was at work and the answering service had no clue about this. After 4th try, one of the staff asked us to stop-by in person. Next morning, we were in the office 8:30am and it was closed. We waited until they opened and were told the leasing agent would come in at 9am. She never showed up.. The staff showed no responsibility and no respect to future tenants. We got frustrated and left.I don't understand how a prospective tenant could connect with this property. We were attracted by the location but their service made us never to think of this option again.
Mohamed Elnaghia: Spoke with Daniel Sullivan the property manager, respectable person, and I went to look at a one Bedroom apartment, met with Elizabeth, she's very helpful and showed me all the amenities.
Anvi Gandhi-Nair: Bed bugs !!! What else would you ask for !!!!
Nicola Ferralis: Horrible management. Rent was raised by 30% with no willingness for any improvement on the apartment (after living for 5 years). Maintenance staff is good and very friendly, but contractors are cheap and highly unprofessional. In essence, a lot is asked, but very little is offered back for the price.
