Bryan Berner: From my first call to MHB I was impressed with them. I spoke with a lady named Barbara, Who could quite possibly be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She was informative, friendly and extremely helpful. They were able to get me in for an appt. extremely fast and Barbara helped with insurance that I wasn’t sure would cover treatment, Thankfully it does, Thank you again Barbara. DR. Applebaum was great. Explained everything very clearly so I knew why/what was happening and how to correct it. “Kevin number 2” Who did the bone scan was another very friendly/cool person that talked you through everything. The lady that makes the appointments and schedules tests after your visit . Was amazing! I really can’t say enough about this place. It was my first experience with them. And it was an extremely good one. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the entire office just has a really good vibe to it. I would highly suggest checking them

AA M: RN Kevin Flinn spent about an hour with me explaining medication and discussing all of my concerns and then some. I walked out feeling very comfortable about treatment plan. His bedside manner was outstanding and talking to him was extremely easy and free flowing. He was an extremely nice person who knows his stuff. Have met with Nick a couple of times since and had great appointments. Very personable, east to talk to, answered all my questions. Wish I didn’t need to go here but this is the place to go for men’s health problems if you need to go somewhere.

Stuart Kyle: This place has gone way downhill. I can't get anyone to refill a medication that they put me on. They know I need it and it's a maintenance medication that I really shouldn't be skipping. I don't know if they're short staffed or what, but they need to be honest about their ability to serve patients and not tell people they're going to do something and not do it. It was a good experience while it lasted but I can't recommend them anymore.

Tuesday LTSG: Not knowing what to expect, I entered this office as if I were entering a spa! The decor was anything but cliniclike and every staff member from the moment I arrived to the moment I left were incredibly professional, friendly and madee.feel I was a longterm.client. Peter V was attentive and showed genuine concern for my situation and developed a.an with the promise we'll.get to the bottom of this. I did leave feeling the best that I have in a long time from.my !!condition

Fraga: I went to see this oriental osteopath doctor, Anna Ham, DO at the Cambridge Health Alliance, because having been at the ER a couple days before and not having been able to give the Er the specimen, I needed a stool test. Not only she denied doing the stool test , she assertively discussed releasing medical records from MGH and Brigham to the CHA to which I agreed. I have been going to C.H.A to see my provider (which Ham was substituting on this day) and he already had a system in place to see my medical records from MGH and Brigham & Women's. But I did not want to argue with DO Anna Ham, over what seemed to be a needed step - sharing records. Because of the number of pages and paragraphs to be read and wanting to save 'doctors valuable time', I trusted the doctor and signed without thoroughly reading papers, only skimming them. I read enough to notice that one asked for release of psychiatric records from Bos Med Center. She abused her power and authority and had me sign forms releasing psychiatric records from BMC when we had only discussed releasing records from Mass Gen Hospital and Brigham & Women's , which actually is not needed as CHA, MGH and B&W are in the same computer system. When asked to correct and cancel this unauthorized request, she replied she did not think she could reverse process and dropped the problem on the hand of three or four African American and Haitian receptionists, and another three or four Oriental receptionists that work at this C.H.A North Cambridge Clinic - and myself to try to have, according to Anna Ham, I.T. reverse the authorization! I found the receptionists and nurses' aids were resentful towards me for not 'wanting my records known to them'. So, I in one phrase explained that one's psychiatric history is personal. As I was walking away from reception one of them said: "I wonder why she doesn't want us to see her records?". I contacted Bos Med Center the next day and let them know what happened between me and Anna Ham, doctor of osteopathy; I asked them NOT to release my records to C.H.A. They were very receptive and said: "We can certainly note on your records that you don't want to have them released to the C.H.A. This was said with a little laugh in the voice over the telephone and the person repeated: "Oh the Cambridge Health Alliance...!" This has been my experience with this doctor of osteopathy, Anna Ham, which I hope not to have to consult again for her arrogance and authoritative attitude. Not a person to level with.
