A Michael T: As far as I care, this is the company that declined all offers from the town of Belmont to create a safe community path to pass near Belmont High school from their borderline.Instead, their actions will cause a longer path, from the other side of the train tracks, higher risks of injury to our beloved kids and citizens. That’s of course if derailed plans actualize despite all difficulties.If a company does not care about the safety and convenience of the citizens of their community, I would doubt their commitment to their clients.

I consider Aotco to be more of a business partner than just a vendor that provides us a service. Aotco has always been willing to work with us to develop unique solutions to our complex problems. Furthermore, Aotco also has worked on improving our product with their knowledge and skill when it comes to plating our aluminum piece with extremely tight tolerances. If you have a unique need, I would recommend giving Aotco a call and seeing how they can be a partner to you.

Had an employee drop off some parts yesterday that we needed anodized and I just received a call with a price quote (we've had Aotco do some hard coat ano in the past). Aotco wants .85 cents each part (409 parts) for type 2 red anodize, I was very surprised at the cost!Jessica called to give me the price and she was extremely polite and professional and forwarded me to Bob who she said is in sales. He was short and gruff with me as I explained how I was surprised about the price and tried to mention that I've had these exact parts anodized by FM Callahan in Malden and they have charged me quite less for the exact same job (.35 cents a part). His response was (as he cut me off from talking) "we don't compete with FM Callahan" and he continued to explain the price is the price and if I don't like it that I can pick up my parts.Really? Nice salesman Bob, way to retain a customer. So I had an employee drive an hour each way to drop them off yesterday for a rush job (which by the way Aotco said a rush job would take 4 business days, wow 4 days is a 'rush job'???) and now I have to send my employee back an hour drive each way to pick them up. HUGE waste of our time.As writing this review I received a call from Jimmy who is the anodizing supervisor for Aotco. He was replying to a voice mail I left for them yesterday and he was unaware of the calls I had with Jessica and Bob this morning. He was polite and professional (as Jessica was) and took interest in the work I needed done and my concerns about pricing. He also explained to me that Bob was the VP of Aotco ..... WHAT ... BOB IS THE VICE PRESIDENT! I thought he was just some rude salesman, now that I know he's the VP I'm really floored. He really has no people skills, don't believe me? , just call him yourself and see how he talks 'AT' people.You must really care about your company, Bob, when I customer has a concern and all you can say is come pick up your stuff. If I had spoken with only Jimmy and Jessica I'm sure we could have worked something out and the job would have been done. Jimmy even explained that the .85 a part seemed excessive and asked me if he could work on the pricing and make this job happen. He seemed genuinely interested in keeping me as a satisfied customer and he talked WITH ME and tried his hardest to fix the situation and make this job happen. If I could split this review I'd give Jimmy 5 starts and Bob ZERO stars. If this was my company I'd put Jimmy on the phone and keep Bob away from it.FYI, I have thousands of parts coated every year, I'm not a newbie to this. These parts were an easy .875dia x 2.25" long 6061 with a .300 through hole, no masking no color match and nothing special involved in this job, just a simple color dip.Well Bob looks like we're doing what you suggested and we'll pick up our parts ...... and oh yeah, off to FM Callahan in Malden to have a professional job done, at a reasonable price where we're treated properly. Glad you feel your company is making so much money from overcharging other people that can blow off my company that spends thousands of dollars a year on coating parts. You won't get a penny from us every again.
