Oleana: what do users think?
Ignacio Perez: Great venue with a very high standard of service and food, while still being very relaxed. Love the unique wine selection.
Mel: Oleana is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Every dish is bursting with flavor and very creative. The waitstaff is always super nice and helpful, and while it may seem expensive, I think it's quite reasonable for what you get (especially when compared to other places in the area). We ALWAYS order the topik, fatteh, and sultans delight, but everything I've ever had here has been delicious. I couldn't speak more highly of Oleana - definitely go here!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. At least 50% of the menu is vegetarian or can be made vegetarian.
Anthony Maiorana: Everything about our experience here felt amazing. Our reservation was at 8 and we got seated relatively quickly even though we were a bit early. We had a cozy little table in the bar area.We did two tasting menus plus cocktails and a couple of other dishes and the vegetarian creativity at this restaurant absolutely blew us away. We felt so lucky for getting to eat here. Definitely worth going and spending some time here
Tim Lapinskas: Recommended dishes Turkish Style Profiteroles, Hot Meze, Sultan's Delight, Lamb GyroMore
Linfei Li: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Larry Slate: Great flavors. Portion sizes small as advised.
shrinidhi navale: Nice for a one time experience. The cold dishes were good. The baked alaska was extremely sweet for my taste.Really pricey for tiny portions.Parking available on street and in a lot across the restaurant.
Arthur Athanas: Wonderful dining experienceParking: Tricky but doable. Pay attention to the trafficWheelchair accessibility: Seemed to be fine. Entrance was a ramp
Ahmed Kamal: Hands down my favorite restaurant in Boston. Gives that “finally, something new” taste after every other run-of-the-mill restaurant. Great taste and texture to every dish I’ve tried. Also a good variety of dishes without deviating much from the cuisine.I tried their peer restaurant, Sarma, and it was really underwhelming. If you have to pick one, make sure it’s Oleana.
Max P: Came here on a double date and we shared a whole bunch of plates family-style. I don’t think there was a single plate that we didn’t enjoy. Will definitely be back!
Aude-Marie Alem: My fav restaurant in Cambridge so far.And I did plenty!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joe Lillis: Wonderful restaurant!
Lauren Summers: The Moussaka was rolled up in the eggplant instead of like a lasagna. So flavorful and hard to make. Also loved the Fatteh. Haven't tried that dish before. Cozy bar and ambiance. Great wines too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fatteh …More
Geno Castro: Easily one of the best restaurants in Boston. Great selection of mezas, and drink menu. Presentation of food is spectacular. 10/10 recommend.
Namratha Subhash: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sundae-Turkish Coffee Ice Cream, Sultan's Delight, Turkish Style Profiteroles, FattehMore
Lamia Youseff: Good food and ambiance.. desert to die for. Make reservation ahead of time though... same day reservation are hard to come by.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Icy Kendrick: First time at a Turkish restaurant and it was great. Lamb was a little salty though. I got a negroni and it was fine but I think a red wine would have gone better with the meal. We'll try it again when we get back in the area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Za'Atar Bread, Fatteh …More
William Lane: Incredible dining experience as always. Incredible food and service.Recommended dishes Whipped Feta, Baked Alaska, Sultan's Delight, Topik …More
Gail Stewart: I highly recommend Oleana. The food was exceptionally good due to interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. The service we received was terrific. The staff were friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Deviled Eggs, Sultan's Delight, Hot Meze, Lemon Chicken Za'Atar Turkish Cheese Pancake …More
Zhe Gong: Made reservation more than three weeks ahead of time and went there for birthday dinner on a Thursday night at 830pm. The restaurant is small (elbow-to-elbow dining) and extremely noisy. The dishes we ordered were not bad (three spinach falafels, two quail meat bites, a few braised beef bites, lamb and cabbage bites, whipped feta, and baklava), however definitely not worth the price (three falafels for $14???), nor the hype. The service was slow. Overall it was not an enjoyable experience and I left super disappointed. If you are rich (or have a super tiny stomach) and get impressed easily, maybe this place is not too bad a choice.

Moona: what do users think?
Fatimah Alshaikh: food was top notch! best mediterranean food or any food I’ve tried in the area for that matter! def coming back! i came with 2 lebanese people and they loved it as well, so passes the culture check!Recommended dishes Fattoush, Dips Plate, Eggplant Fatteh …More
Marjorie: The eggplant fatteh is possibly the best thing I have eaten in my entire life.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggplant Fatteh Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes …More
Ibrahim Mansoor: After what felt like an eternity of waiting (a month to be exact), our anticipation for our visit to Moona, an Eastern Mediterranean & Arabic restaurant, reached its peak. This intimate, mosaic-tiled gem is perfect for any occasion, but it's especially ideal for date nights.Four of us embarked on this flavorful adventure and the place was bustling with patrons throughout our two and a half hour culinary escapade. We decided to embrace the communal dining spirit by ordering and sharing dishes instead of going the traditional appetizer and main course route.Round 1:Dips Plate (mustard labneh, hummus, smoked baba, olives, pickles)Batata Harra (spicy crispy potatoes, cilantro, and lemon)Fattoush SaladThe smoked baba ganoush stole the spotlight, seducing our palates with its irresistible smokiness. The Fattoush Salad was a reliable choice, and the Batata Harra was a revelation - crispy, tangy, and just the right amount of heat. Hot potatoes indeed!Round 2:4. Msakhan Duck RollsEggplant FattehMushroom FarroLamb BurgerRound 2 was a battle between the Eggplant Fatteh and the Lamb Burger, both of which emerged as the undisputed stars of this round. The Lamb Burger's perfect harmony of flavors and textures made us swoon, while the Eggplant Fatteh's delectable layers had us speechless. The Mushroom Farro and the spicy Duck Rolls were also a delightful addition to our gastronomic odyssey.Round 3:Slow-cooked Lamb ShoulderAs a self-proclaimed lamb connoisseur, I can attest that Moona's slow-cooked lamb shoulder was nothing short of heavenly. It was so good that my inner carnivore emerged and devoured the plate in no time. The added touch of dates was surprisingly delightful, making it a true symphony of flavors.Round 4 (Desserts):Hallawa Cheesecake & KunafehI'm usually quite picky when it comes to desserts, but Moona's Hallawa Cheesecake and Kunafeh had me singing their praises. Both were stunningly delicious and served as the perfect finale to our feast. To wash everything down, I indulged in a pomegranate, cardamom, and mint lemonade mocktail. Whoever came up with this concoction deserves a medal – I had four refills and could have easily had more!Despite the packed house, the service was decent, and our food arrived with fairly good timing. Just remember to be patient and perhaps order some appetizers if you're on the verge of being hangry.Lastly, we recommend taking an Uber to Moona, as parking might be a bit of a challenge. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Moona's ambiance, menu, and the talents of the chefs. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu!
Sunny Qin: A bit pricy but all vegetarian dishes are delicious!! Highly recommend the vegetarian mushroom main dish! The desert is mediocre tho…
Ahmed Eid: Food was delicious, service was okay, portions were small, and overall it was nice place. Had the eggplant, carrot, and the lamb shoulder.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Margarita Kamenova: Great service. Great food. Great place. Highly recommend it.Update March 2023Back to Moona. The food is just as amazing as ever! A soul food to the next level. The octopus and the carrot salad are to die for! The farro brings your soul to life with its fresh warmth and comfort. I'm in love!
Hank: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken TagineMore
Aysheh Alrfooh: Recommended dishes Hallawa Cheesecake, Fattoush, Chicken Tagine, Musakhan Duck Rolls, Eggplant FattehMore
Nathan Kastner: Fantastic food, great ambiance, good music and friendly service. We went to Moona for a late dinner and were blown away by the flavor of the food. For 2 people: Dips Plate, Baby Carrots, Scallop & Duck, Chicken Kebab, Steak Tips, and Feta Fritters were more than enough food. The Feta Fritters might be the best dish I've eaten in Boston. Dessert was their cheesecake - one of the best I've ever had. Scallop & Duck also stand-out as a must-order dish. Don't have any pictures to add of the meal but would go back in a heartbeat.
Eric Baron: If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a romantic night out with your significant other, Moona is definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable date night. The restaurant's small plates are the real star of the show, each one bursting with flavor and presented with an artistic flair. The food is so delicious that I found myself savoring each bite and taking my time with every dish. The plates are perfect for sharing, which adds to the communal feel of the place and makes for a fun and engaging dining experience. In terms of ambiance, Moona hits all the right notes. The lighting is soft and intimate, the decor is tasteful and modern, and the overall vibe is relaxed and chill. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day or to celebrate a special occasion with someone you care about. All in all, I would highly recommend Moona to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
Fatima Farrukh: I’m sorry but I don’t get the hype. The food just isn’t upto par. Pretty average Mediterranean food which is my favorite cuisine. Easier to get a reservation than most places but I won’t be back
Am: Moona is a little Middle Eastern gem in Boston. We went as a party of four to celebrate several things and they didn't disappoint. Delicious food and drinks kept conversations flowing till late. Also, their staff is simply amazing and wonderful to chat with. Will love to go back againVegetarian options: Many vegetarian and vegan options available
Chris Spahr: This place is the best! Each dish has its own unique spice and incredible flavor - the atmosphere is very chill - drinks are extraordinary and a Lebanese beer washes it all down perfectly.
Sean: Truly some of the best food I've had in all the Boston area. This place makes me want to reduce some of my other five star reviews. Absolutely would return.
T. Z: The restaurant is too small always hard to get seated. Mezza menu are the greatest, eggplant fatteh was so good! The grilled fish came in big portion but the taste is kinda disappointing. I would recommend going for bar seat to have a drink and appetizers that’s all.Recommended dishes Feta Fritters, Eggplant Fatteh …More
Kyle Gil: Honestly stunned how amazing this dinner was . Manager Christine went out of her way to help us with our parties food allergies .the best customer service I have ever seen. I will never forget this dinner . Truly 10 out of 10 experience . I will tell everybody about this place .
Tiia Groden: This was one of the best dinners I’ve had in years. All of the food was unbelievable and the service was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and would give this a 10/5 if I could.Recommended dishes Feta Fritters, Musakhan Duck Rolls …More
Yazy: Not your average Lebanese food. If you are looking for a unique food, you must try Moona!Dined in Friday nightService is great, friendly staff, and nice vibeFood is small portions but packers with unique flavorsFor 2 adults, we got 2 mezzas ( eggplant fetta and Feta Frittas) and 2 from the mashawee ( grilled octopus and date molasses steak tips). We also ordered Halawa cheesecake and was so balancedThey also can turn any cocktails to mocktails And they were so deliciousEnjoyed our dinner at Moona and definitely coming back
Eric Song: Another great small plates restaurant in Boston. The plates are priced reasonably, and the portions are good so you'll end up around $40 per person. I recommend the Eggplant Fatteh and the Mussels.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggplant Fatteh …More
Juliet Iredale: Great and affordable food in a very cute setting! We ordered a couple of cocktails and small plates. Everything was very tasty and flavorful – their cheesecake was also very good.

Metaj Family: Went there with a friend. I got so bummed since I highly recommend it, but this place is NOT the OLD Aceituna. They must have changed owner, definitely never going there again!!!I got chicken rice plate and my friend got beef rice plate. Chicken was dry and tasteless and the beef looked like a cardboard, she didn’t even finish it. Humus tasted weird out of can like taste, I got extra tzatziki which they charged + $2, and it didn’t taste fresh ☹️I remember this place was vibrant and sparkling clean, not anymore! Dusty windows, employees didn’t look happy, everything looked miserable 😩I have never given negative reviews, but this place needs to step up the quality quite a bit.
Yara Seif: Best shawarma I’ve had in the US! Such an amazing find!
Eiba: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Hummus, Pita Bread, FalafelMore

Michael Moussa: Food isn't what it use to be. Got chicken rice plate and spicy chicken rice plate. No garlic sauce given with chicken (nor was I asked if I would like that sauce which traditionally comes with it). Spicy chicken is no longer marinated, they now just add a spicy sauce on top of the regular chicken. Salads (fatoush and Greek) no longer have lettuce in them, just way too much green peppers. Baqlawa was dry.
Amal Bajonaid: I’ve tried so many shawarmas in Boston, this place has the best chicken shawarma in Boston if you want to try the authentic shawarma taste, order it this way: spicy chicken (it’s not too spicy but has a better flavor than the regular chicken) add fries, pickles and garlic sauce, nothing more, definitely no salad in the shawarma 🙃 try it and enjoy the best chicken shawarma in Boston 🙏
A New: Delish beef and lamb with light seasoning. Fast service and pricing is comparable for the Kendall area.Recommended dishes Pita Bread …More
Isha Mittal: Would eat here again! It is an informal counter service restaurant perfect for a healthier workday lunch. I got the chicken shawarma pita roll which was fantastic. Really recommend the garlic sauce! I went on a weekday during lunch time and the place was super busy. I felt a little rushed while ordering but everything else was great.
Luis Cal García: Great place to have a quick bite with many Mediterranean healthy options. Lots of great food combinations, and even though it gets busy at lunch time, the line goes really fast.Vegetarian options: You can order the falafel instead of shawarma with anything
hodhod hod: To dry lamp and and not freshly vegetables and food they serve from yesterday night in second day or may be before it.
Michael Rotelli: Very bad experience.
Guy Bou Lahdou: Food: 5/5More
Yoyo MA: Meat was very dry. Left a lot to desired in the tasteFood: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Sina Rashidian: I came on a Saturday, everything tastes like leftovers from days ago.
Mark G: Shawarma was very dry with no sauce present aside from at one end. There were barely any veggies despite having selected multiple veggies options, and fries were disappointing. Chicken felt dry and old.
Karter Krueger: Food was good, except the fried cauliflower was very cold.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
