EVOO Restaurant: what do users think?
Silpa Das: We had a team dinner here..lovely cozy place in Cambridge..food was great..the salad was scrumptious..soup was great..half chicken was enormous..crisp blueberry ice cream was good..the staff was very warm and helpful!! Loved the dinner here..Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Stephen McDonough: Great 🍕 place
Lucy Loo: Food here is innovative and well prepared. They use nice fresh ingredients and rotate seafood offerings. The salads are spectacular.
Asan Muhammed: We can talk about Del Friscos (amazing customer service), Moo, or Abe and Louis and none of them compare to the garlic studded steak at Evoo. Its often undercooked, so get it butterflied if you want it medium well or well done. You cut into it and the whole cloves of garlic come falling out. Its simply incredible.
Dileepa Wijayanayake: Good pizza good foodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Madeline Cortes: We used EVOO for our wedding rehearsal! We consider ourselves so fortunate to have discovered this restaurant on a Kendall Square food tour a few years ago. At the time that we booked, they were closing the restaurant on Friday evenings and sectioning off the areas for private events. Luckily, we were the only event in the restaurant the evening of our rehearsal dinner. Management’s communication was flawless and personal. The chef and their team assembled a delightful menu with seasonal dishes that highlighted the classic flavors of New England for our out-of-town guests. Even the vegetarians dined like royalty. And we loved that they included one of our engagement photos on the printed menu. They really made what would have been a small part of our wedding weekend into an intimate gathering of our closest friends and family. We plan to go back to celebrate our first anniversary in a place that has become so special to us.

Bing Jedi: A very fine restaurant sharing the same bar with the Za next door. Friendly and thoughtful serving staff (Eileen & Tristan). In close proximity to Charles river and steps away from the kayak launching site, the spacious outdoor tables are good place to hang out at all times. I have tried both lunch and dinner on different occasions and never got disappointed.
shelley: Before any more time goes by, I need to post an EVOO review. Last month my son and daughter-in-law hosted their rehearsal dinner at EVOO. The tasteful and pleasant private dining room was just the right size for the small reception of around twenty guests. The service was impeccable, the servers completely delightful. It was the perfect venue to begin the weekend festivities. Oh, the food: THE best beef tenderloin I’ve ever tasted. My husband felt exactly the same about his salmon. (Please believe me.)There can be a lot of nerves that need to settle down at the start of a weekend like this, with some family members meeting for the first time. The staff was excellent at making very happy campers of all of us. I cannot recommend EVOO highly enough.
Nir Melamoud: bread and bean paste in oil not great, salad was goodsalmon was ok, but i didn't like the risotto at all.extremely small dishcarrot cake wasn't great, but I'm not a fan to begin with.
Christophe Diot: very nice people (and service) and average food. wine far over-priced.
Dalia Ornelas: This place offers food with fresh and local ingredients. We tried the salmon, the hamburger and the pannacota. Everything was really good, we particularly enjoyed the hamburger and dessert. The staff was very nice but we waited for a while for our food to come.
Pratip Banerji: We went to EVOO for dinner on the night of their reopening. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was absolutely amazing. It's nice to see this gem up and running again.
Maureen Meyer: A bit expensive but our meals were great and so was the service. For a Friday night we were surprised to walk in and see it was rather quiet. Kendall square may be busier doing the week? Not sure but it worked for us. Also, the restaurant was toasty warm on a cold night.
Justin Torre: Slow, also extrenely over priced. There is so much better food around the area. Dont waste your time
S T: Great service. Good place for business dinner. Simple menu for large groups.
Andy Milo: Very good food, with each course tastier than the last.
Shlomi Cohen-Ganor: The food was good but not great, didn't justify the cost IMO.
Ceri Callander: Lovely atmosphere, attentive service and really good food.

Oleana: what do users think?
Ignacio Perez: Great venue with a very high standard of service and food, while still being very relaxed. Love the unique wine selection.
Mel: Oleana is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Every dish is bursting with flavor and very creative. The waitstaff is always super nice and helpful, and while it may seem expensive, I think it's quite reasonable for what you get (especially when compared to other places in the area). We ALWAYS order the topik, fatteh, and sultans delight, but everything I've ever had here has been delicious. I couldn't speak more highly of Oleana - definitely go here!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. At least 50% of the menu is vegetarian or can be made vegetarian.
Anthony Maiorana: Everything about our experience here felt amazing. Our reservation was at 8 and we got seated relatively quickly even though we were a bit early. We had a cozy little table in the bar area.We did two tasting menus plus cocktails and a couple of other dishes and the vegetarian creativity at this restaurant absolutely blew us away. We felt so lucky for getting to eat here. Definitely worth going and spending some time here
Tim Lapinskas: Recommended dishes Turkish Style Profiteroles, Hot Meze, Sultan's Delight, Lamb GyroMore
Larry Slate: Great flavors. Portion sizes small as advised.
shrinidhi navale: Nice for a one time experience. The cold dishes were good. The baked alaska was extremely sweet for my taste.Really pricey for tiny portions.Parking available on street and in a lot across the restaurant.
Arthur Athanas: Wonderful dining experienceParking: Tricky but doable. Pay attention to the trafficWheelchair accessibility: Seemed to be fine. Entrance was a ramp
Ahmed Kamal: Hands down my favorite restaurant in Boston. Gives that “finally, something new” taste after every other run-of-the-mill restaurant. Great taste and texture to every dish I’ve tried. Also a good variety of dishes without deviating much from the cuisine.I tried their peer restaurant, Sarma, and it was really underwhelming. If you have to pick one, make sure it’s Oleana.
Max P: Came here on a double date and we shared a whole bunch of plates family-style. I don’t think there was a single plate that we didn’t enjoy. Will definitely be back!
Aude-Marie Alem: My fav restaurant in Cambridge so far.And I did plenty!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joe Lillis: Wonderful restaurant!
Lauren Summers: The Moussaka was rolled up in the eggplant instead of like a lasagna. So flavorful and hard to make. Also loved the Fatteh. Haven't tried that dish before. Cozy bar and ambiance. Great wines too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fatteh …More
Geno Castro: Easily one of the best restaurants in Boston. Great selection of mezas, and drink menu. Presentation of food is spectacular. 10/10 recommend.

Icy Kendrick: First time at a Turkish restaurant and it was great. Lamb was a little salty though. I got a negroni and it was fine but I think a red wine would have gone better with the meal. We'll try it again when we get back in the area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fatteh, Za'Atar Bread …More
William Lane: Incredible dining experience as always. Incredible food and service.Recommended dishes Whipped Feta, Baked Alaska, Sultan's Delight, Topik …More
Gail Stewart: I highly recommend Oleana. The food was exceptionally good due to interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. The service we received was terrific. The staff were friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Deviled Eggs, Sultan's Delight, Hot Meze, Lemon Chicken Za'Atar Turkish Cheese Pancake …More
Zhe Gong: Made reservation more than three weeks ahead of time and went there for birthday dinner on a Thursday night at 830pm. The restaurant is small (elbow-to-elbow dining) and extremely noisy. The dishes we ordered were not bad (three spinach falafels, two quail meat bites, a few braised beef bites, lamb and cabbage bites, whipped feta, and baklava), however definitely not worth the price (three falafels for $14???), nor the hype. The service was slow. Overall it was not an enjoyable experience and I left super disappointed. If you are rich (or have a super tiny stomach) and get impressed easily, maybe this place is not too bad a choice.

Season to Taste: what do users think?
Farah Ansari: So unfortunately I found this place underwhelming for the price spent, I felt I was paying for the atmosphere more than the food (which it's a lovely place). My party ordered the arancini, tuna crudo, gas station Quail, and cajun shrimp and grits. Overall, we felt majority of dishes lacked seasoning and a flavor profile. The arancini base was crab filled and although I smelled it, I did not taste any crab. The crudo had a nice base for sauce but the amount totalled 4 small pieces which okay fine but it did not leave any want for more. The shrimp were well cooked for the entree but the grits felt bland with barley any Cajun seasonin, and as for the gas station Quail, it felt like a small dressed up version of fried chicken with sides, though the coleslaw was redeeming. The drinks were very nice and the staff were great. Would be curious to try the beef tartar and other cocktails but that's all.
Kate Froehlich: Absolutely delicious meal. Had a great time here. My only note is that the bar stools are not suitable for plus size patrons - I’m a size 22 and was unable to sit comfortably.
Valerie Guiraud: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Meghrik Assadourian: We had an amazing dining experience last night at Season to Taste! Finally i can say I have experienced good dining in Boston/Cambridge area. We ordered 5 of the appetizers and 2 main dishes and shared among 4 people. Everything was beautifully plated and seasoned to taste ;)Drinks were also tasty. Will go back again soon.
Andrew Nilson: I try to reserve 5 stars for only the restaurants that stand out and this sure does. We ordered the Mahi and the Pork loin. For an appetizer we enjoyed the pork belly. Two incredibly different meals in taste and presentation both both outstandingly good. If I could rate the cocktails I would rate them 4 stars mostly because none caught my attention when perusing the menu. However after a shot and a miss, they brought me something I did enjoy for the evening and tasted great. Would go back anytime.
Davina C: Great food and great service!
Steve Ansell: Very consistent out, very good, not haut cuisine but imaginative and well balanced menu, good wine selection and service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Dark Chocolate Bavarois …More
Michael W: My date reservations fell through at a nearby restaurant and when we went to Season to Taste they were at full capacity, so they literally put us at a table in the kitchen. Our waiter was exceptional, the drinks were great, and the food was unreal. The chef is interactive with his guests and gave us a personal description of each dish. For any gluten free people out there, they are knowledgeable and can make the majority of dishes gluten free.
Linda Loz: We came here for out anniversary just bc we wanted a place where ppl actually said there was good food.. and everyone was right!! All the starters were so amazing we decided to have 3 and the fact that the drinks are well balanced and excellently prepared! 12 out of 10 would recommend! Even service was great!! The gm eventook the time ro introduce himself! I wish they continue to grow and can't wait to see it happen!Vegetarian options: Didn't have but they're on the menu and the looked and smelled delish
Zeno Doeleman: Food was outstanding, hitting every note one could want, creating an all inclusive dinner experience through taste, texture, visual and aroma. The favorite at the table was the pork belly and tuna fine crudo, which blended hearty flavor with light texture and zest. The two made a phenomenal paring. We didn’t order any of the mains because the variety of appetizers were so appealing, tasty and frankly, filling.Staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional and cozy.Rob the owner personally made sure we were enjoying ourselves and explained the thoughts behind a few of the dishes, creating such a personal experience that it was hard not to feel like you were in his personal kitchen. In an ever expanding sea of restaurants in Cambridge, all with different taste and ideas, Season to Taste has found a way to nail everything you would want while dinning out. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Jayson Hreczuck: Outstanding! My wife and I came here for a birthday dinner and were not disappointed. Small menu with seasonal items, in farm to table style. I had the Gas Station Fried Quail and the wife had Creole Spiced Mahi, both came highly recommended.Do not miss this gem of Cambridge.
Rob Harvey: One of the premier, must-hit spots to eat in Cambridge. The chef and staff are amazing and surely will deliver a culinary experience you won’t forget!
Sadie Harrison: A well-deserved 5 star rating!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tara T: We had such a wonderful meal at Season to Taste! We shared a few small plates and 2 mains and all were delicious. The buffalo brussel sprouts, burrata with acorn squash, and tuna crudo were all favorites. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff and owner were lovely. A great night out - would highly recommend!Recommended dishes Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, House-Made Potato Gnocchi …More
Courtney Wong: Pretty phenomenal food, generous portions, in a fancy setting, for a very reasonable price.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Camille Brunetti: This is a great new restaurant—frankly too nice to just be plopped on Mass Ave! Nice atmosphere and and the community table was a fun experience. The drinks were delicious, and the food was great! The chef was so friendly and lovely to speak with. He sent out an extra dish—the Parisian Gnocchi, so good—as an apology for our food coming out too quickly (one dish got there before our drinks). The gas station quail was great but the beef tartare and the gnocchi were great! The crème brûlée (pictured) was amazing!
Luke Craig: If I could give them six stars I would! Season to Taste is everything a higher end restaurant should be. Although most entrees orbit the $30 price range, and usually in my reviews I never see a meal as worth that much, here they are. Not only is the food seasoned perfectly (as one would guess from the name) but the portions are actually really good. This isn't a place you pay $30 for two bites of well cooked lobster, you actually get a full delicious and satisfying meal. And when I say things are well cooked and seasoned, I mean it. I have had steak tartar and lobster many times, and I hated them every time, thought they were absolutely disgusting. My boyfriend got the steak tartar appetizer and the lobster entree and I tried both, and I loved them! They were so flavorful and the textures were perfect. The pork belly appetizer and blue fish entree I got were wonderful, each with an amazing kaleidoscope of flavors. I absolutely recommend this place, I'd try anything on their menu.--UPDATE--Just came back to try the new place and it's still just as good! Only gripe was a tried the bone marrow app and it was a very tiny amount of bone marrow. Granted, this was my first time eating bone marrow anywhere, so maybe that amount is the norm 🤷
Sudarshana Chanda: Their namesake in North Cambridge used to be one of my top 5 restaurants in the Boston area. The food was amazing and the service was memorable. This new restaurant, unfortunately, has nothing in common with it except the name (and the owner, as we learnt later).I went to celebrate my birthday and ended up leaving thoroughly disappointed and without ordering dessert as we had initially planned. The staff is probably really busy, so we want to be empathetic to that, but they ignored us for a while, instead turning their attention to a couple who arrived after us (perhaps they looked better dressed than us?).When they finally did take our order, my partner asked for a cocktail recommendation - something sweet and creamy, and our server suggested sultana swing, a cocktail that turned out to be not creamy in the slightest and extremely strong. My cocktail, night at the opera, was good. The dishes-Tuna crudo (1 star, didn't even taste like fish, and was incredibly bitter.)Beef tartare (2 stars, tasted odd)Carrots (2 stars, honestly I used to love this dish at their old place but even this tasted completely mediocre and plasticky)Burrata (3 stars, the flavors were good but it was much too cold. Burrata is best served at room temperature)At the end I asked if there was a change from the old management and was told that everything except the owner had changed. Yep. That is evident.Given that I live steps away I was thrilled when I first saw their name here and excited to patronize a local restaurant, but alas, that is not to be. You're better off taking a few more steps and going to Barcelona Wine Bar where the food is better and the service is warm, friendly, and attentive.
Jon C.: Was a big fan of the original location so I was very excited to try the new location once open. Unfortunately, it definitely seems like the magic is gone. The new space is much larger, taking away from the intimacy and ambiance from the first location. The food was at best average and the staff was working hard to keep up with the much larger space with many more tables to serve. Not a bad restaurant but pales in comparison to what it used to be.
Lindsay S: Dined at the bar. Outstanding food & drinks and exceptional service.

Christine Chao: Beautiful interior but brunch was quite pricey for the amount of food and quality of food that was served. The mushroom crepe was filled with onion ends and did not have much flavor. The potatoes were good though.
Peter Ph: Well appointed and not too tightly packed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good, though given there is "French" food on the menu, it's a shame the food isn't more authentic - very Americanized. The duck vol au vent was good. The biggest drawback is that it is very noisy when busy. If you like shouting to your dinner companions over the table, this is the place for you. If you want a relaxed dinner, maybe this isn't the place for you. Of course, the restaurant doesn't want customers to relax, as it is much more profitable to maintain high turnover.
Ben Jackson: New menu is full of hits, we had the family style porterhouse (pic), bunch of sides and the tagliatelle. Service was attentive without being on top of you and the beverage list is rounded out well. Solid spot for a group dinner or just to pull up to the bar for a nice glass of wine and some snacks.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chelsea Shin: It is a decent french place, but don’t keep your expectation high. We had a few dishes, but nothing really stood out. I may try this place again, but I will prioritize other restaurants over this one. Also, the atmosphere is kinda off, it is by the hotel lobby and it feels like a hotel restaurant not in a good way.
Aarti Choudhary: Talking about food- food was really good (vegetarian). Staff was friendly except the one who brought us at table. Another server was friendly, polite but was not able to explain whether the meat is cooked or not. Consistency of food are different. Sweet dishes are good. But I m not satisfied with food and the lady who took us at our table.
Simran Malik: The food was good, but even when we ordered the same dish the consistency was different. We had to wait even after an early reservation, the rest of the staff was friendly but one lady was making un polite faces while taking us to our seats. We experienced hostile behavior when we asked her about the dish which wasn’t fully cooked. We went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and was extremely disheartened after the experience.Though the place was beautiful and some dishes were really good, I don’t think the experience was something friendly towards us.
Ben Touimi: Food tastes amazing and the service is great. The place looks really nice and the staff is super friendly.
Christabel Barry: If you are a woman who wants to enjoy a drink in peace DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I reserved seats at the bar. It was a busy Friday night but the entire time we were harassed by a drunk man who hovered over our seats and wouldn’t leave us alone after being told several times to step back. The bartenders were too busy to intervene but they did see it playing out and did nothing. Do not recommend this as a safe space for women or queer people.

Francisco Ángeles: Fantastic location, good tables and lighting, and fine staff. The atmosphere is amazing. Food is okay. Not bad but far from memorable. The wine list could be (in fact, should be) so much better. Very good price per quality, though, considering the place’s look rather than food.

Parsnip Restaurant: what do users think?
Christel Hayes: It's not a restaurant per se anymore it's a rentable event / workspace very nice with bar and kitchen available for use
Christopher V: Candle lit atmosphere and good service. The food was good but I don't think it justified the price. This seems more of a place to bring the parents than a group of friends specially if they are paying.
Joshua Marantz: Brussels sprouts app was sensational
Elizabeth Norton: I get the sense that this restaurant can deliver excellence, but the short rib dish I had was so cloyingly sweet from top to bottom that I couldn't rate it higher.
Nathan Higginson-Scott: Food was amazing!
Monica Renaud: Starting with coat room the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We attended a company holiday event in the beautiful lounge. The food was lovely to look at and even better to eat.I have now also enjoyed the Parsnip for my birthday. It was a lovely experience, near the fireplace and their decorated tree. Love it!
Ed Cabellon: Fantastic food and ambiance!
Jesse McNamara: Food and service were amazing!
Shawn Martin: We had every course (appetizer, salad, meal and dessert) and each one was nicely prepared with top-notch ingredients. Drinks were fairly priced and the staff was super attentive and on their heels throughout service. Great vibe - will definitely come around again when I'm in the area.
Rohini Narayanaswamy: We went on a Monday night and there were very few people at the restaurant overall.Food was good and great ambiance. Cocktails were fun.Service could have been better. It was a slow day for them and I was hoping for faster and more thoughtful service. But I come back again another day.
Philip Jacob: Holy cow, this place has gone downhill. I haven’t been in a few years, but Parsnip used to be a refined restaurant that served high end (for Cambridge) food, cocktails and wines. My wife and I were both very disappointed with our experience this evening. I ordered a cocktail: vodka, cucumber and St Elder were the main ingredients. Honestly, this is a hard combination to make undrinkable... but they managed. I sent it back once because it really seemed they had forgotten the St Elder, but their attempt at improving the drink did not yield better results. They offered to remake the cocktail from scratch did improve either. The food was on par with the cocktail, unfortunately. I ordered the Korean lettuce wraps for an appetizer... sounded good on the menu, but it was a DIY affair when it was delivered. Like, here are the ingredients, just assemble it yourself. And the ingredients were not particularly good either. My wife had a similar disappointing experience with her appetizer. The mains... oversized, unrefined, just pretty bad overall. If I got stuck in a Hilton in Ohio and was served food like this, I’d actually be relieved. But this is so terribly sub-par compared to what Parsnip used to me and to the previous restaurant it took the space from that I was really bummed to waste an evening there.Naturally, we won’t go back.
Thomas Chen: Small-plate focused menu with global influences. Ordered several small plates from the menu (mussels, lamb lollipops, fried oysters, and artichoke and arugula salad). Only ask is for punchier sauce on oyster. Other than that, all excellent! Had also a pleasing amuse of apricots.) Duck confit was a good surprise with the addition of liver; delicious and satisfying for even the liver hater in me. Interesting dish of sisig from the chef's background; a touch salty but fun and tasty exploration of another food culture. Ended with well balanced salted caramel mousse.
James Buzard: Did not have its act together tonight. There was no one at the reception table when we walked in; two people passed by and said someone would be with us soon. Then a third person, a waiter, checked us in, but without asking if we had a reservation (we did; it was for our anniversary, and I had said so in making the booking). We sat down. Eventually someone gave us water, and asked if we were only two (we were at a four-top). He said our waiter would be by “in a few minutes.” The whole vibe was off. Nobody greeted us properly, especially for an anniversary reservation. Staff people kept walking across the room without checking on anyone’s tables; there was no bartender behind the bar. Eventually the same guy who had checked us in showed up as our waiter. He seemed nervous. I asked him if everything was okay in the restaurant and he said they were a little understaffed. We decided to leave rather than to pay their prices.
Kit Parker: Fantastic appetizers. Great main courses. Prime location in Harvard Square
Kitsap View: when we went it was a quite place for dinner, an attentive staff with out being intrusive, the menus options are pretty good a vegetarian should have no problem here, vegans could eat here, but the meats and fish were great. the food is a quality item so expect to pay $50 per person without drinks.take the chef's tasting, and have the chef mix a series of dishes off the menu sometimes amended and present you a 5 course meal over an hour.
Troy Pfeffer: Unbelievable experience! Went with a large group and was the only vegan. We all ordered the multi course meal so I had no idea what I was going to get. What I got was amazing! The chef made something unique for me and I was the envy of the table. Here are just two of the amazing dishes I got. Can't wait to go back!
Jeffrey Salazar: Amazing food, service, and ambiance!
DanThuy Chu: The location itself is beautiful yet simple. We were able to sit right near the fire place, which is awesome for a cold night. Both my friend and I ordered drinks and the lamb, which was deliciously cooked. Their chocolate toffee cake is delicious! A little on the pricey side but everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs.
Souheil Adra: Location and location are great. The presentation and plating are creative and make for amazing Instagram pictures but the food is ok, nothing phenomenal or memorable, flavors are bland and portions are small.
Bradford Clem: Just not worth it. Staff were nice but had no knowledge of the menu and bar, and really just no knowledge of food and liqueur in general. Even tableside manner and lack of service showed apparent lack of training. I could go on and list at least 20 ways they could improve their service but just know, it's very deficient. Food menu was safe and showed lack of skill. We got a couple small plates and a large with no discernable difference between the two. Its a waste of time to talk about it any longer. It's the kind of place you can't wait to get the bill and leave. My wife put it best that we could have gone to shake shack across the street and give a homeless person a $100 and have had far better night/experience. The view outside was nice.
C Mac: We walked in. Restaurant was half empty. No one greeted us.We asked where should we sit.One guy sitting from the bar said “you can sit anywhere “. We sat and slightly moved the table .When we sat the waiter told us we cannot move the table in a rude way.

Ramit Bhalla: Let’s talk about the good stuff first, the service was great and the cocktails were decent (lacked a punch but good flavors and presentation). The presentation of the food was excellent and everything looked great. The desert was decent, not too sweet and yet you can tell the deconstructed flavors. That’s about where the good stuff stops. The food was deeply underwhelming, 8 us and there was food left on every plate by the end of the evening. The grilled octopus was tough and charred, the pasta was under done and hard, the burrata was average it lacked flavor while the bread was soggy, the anti pasto while nicely wrapped was stringy and lacked flavor, the bread stick was soft and chewy. The pizza had a great base but the pepperoni was overly salty and didn’t taste right. The only truly edible meat was the meatballs which was nothing to write home about either. The only decent dish for the evening was Arrosticini. Overall I expected decent quality food from a place like this with its price positioning. Won’t be dining here again.
Matthew Hendrix: Sat at the bar and had one of their pizzas. Very yummy.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jon Happe: The service was horrible. It took 10 minutes for our server to acknowledge us after being seated, forgot multiple ordered items, and at one point, walked away from my debit card sitting at the server station. The good food and fantastic assistance from the food runners (who we saw more than our server) couldn’t make up for it. Next time, I think I’ll wait an hour for Cafe Luna a couple doors down the street.
Sungmin Hwang: Nice ambiance and staff but food was average. Got the mascarpone French toast.
Jesse Tordoff: Great Sunday morning brunch!
Ben Perlmutter: I arrived between 5:00pm and 5:10pm today and found a restaurant so empty that I wasn't even sure it was open when I was looking from outside. When I walked in, the hostess was on the phone, acknowledged me, and was helped by a waiter (maybe the head waiter?) who came and received my "table for one" request. The waiter offered to seat me at the bar, and indicated that his tables had reservations. I said no, I didn't want to sit at the bar, and he ... in a rather negative/complainey tone, indicated his tables were reserved for 6pm, and that I would have to leave by 6.From my perspective at this point, my first impression was that the restaurant was very inhospitable. It's not my problem when your tables have to be available, and I shouldn't be made to feel awkward when being seated by being told that this completely empty restaurant has reservations in about an hour. Frankly, eating alone, it's highly unlikely I would take anywhere near an hour to eat, and if the restaurant was mostly full, I would understand the desire to keep tables open or communicate that I could only be there for a limited time, but for a completely empty restaurant, that's completely irrelevant. The initial bad impression colored my whole visit. After that, the service was good. The waitress came and brought out water quickly and took my order right away, as I was already ready. My food came quickly, though the person who delivered it was mumbling, and I had a hard time understanding what they were saying. Had it been busy or had I been distracted, it would have just been confusing. The food was okay, but when I order a $30 carbonara, I don't expect the pasta to be undercooked. I like my noodles al dente, but I expect that they won't be mealy or almost crunchy. Aside from that issue (which is a big one at an Italian restaurant), the food was good. The portion initially looked extremely small, as it was plated in such a way as to make it look even smaller than it was, but it turned out to be the perfect amount, despite me being particularly hungry, eating lunch at 5:30pm.While I was eating, it was a little awkward, because there was a waiter walking circles around the empty restaurant, glowering and looking pretty antsy, though when I finished, I received a dessert menu quickly and upon deciding not to order dessert, I received my check quickly and was out well before the 6pm I had been provided upon arriving. In any case:First impression/initial service: 1/5Later service/tone of service: 4/5Food Quality: 3/5Speed of Service: 5/5Ambiance: 2/5 (empty restaurant, music was already too loud - I can't imagine how loud it gets in there when it's full)Overall: 3/5Some suggestions for the proprietor:- Have some 2-tops that aren't the bar. The smallest table I saw was a 4-top. That makes it hard in a busy downtown area to serve couples or singles coming in for a meal. It would have probably felt like a smaller impact to the head waiter if he could have seated me at a 2-top rather than a 4-top. You could easily make some of the 4-tops that are tables into adjacent 2-tops that you combine into 4-tops for larger parties.
Henri Triu: Food was uneven. Some dishes were good, others needed work.. Nice service. Was relaxing and an enjoyable experience.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Bianca Young: Great drinks, good wine selection and the service was great. I do wish the menu had a few more options but overall had a great time and would come back.
Thomas PIERROT: Service: 5/5More
Shashwat P. Baxi: Overall, this restaurant has a lot of promise. For vegetarians interested in Italian food, you’d think we would have no problem enjoying our meal here. However, I wasn’t thrilled with the entree selection (other than pizza) given the flavors of the pasta that were served. I found the eggplant pasta dish to be way too sweet and the other diners weren’t thrilled with their cacio e pepe. I’m sure the non-veg dishes were better, but the vegetarian pasta options weren’t up to par.
K Brennan: Excellent!! The food was incredible and our waitress was great! Everything came our quickly and tasted delicious. We got the panzerotti and crab cakes for an appetizer. For dinner Cacio E Pepe, Wild Boar Ragu, & Chicken Parm, all so so good! The drinks were really yummy as well!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chase Parisi: Solid dinner option with a variety of menu options. We had the grilled octopus (which was my favorite), the insalata di casa which was good, and the cacio e Pepe which was also pretty good. The cocktails are also great. It took 30 minutes before we were seated even though we had a reservation, but aside from this we had a great time and I would go back.
Sean Seungwon Jeong: Liked the atmosphere and food
