Joseph Marks: My experience was OK. The showroom, selection, and prices all seem excellent to me. The consultant who helped us through the process was very professional, friendly, and competent. I would easily rate the buying part of the process 5 stars. Where things did not go so well was installation. I bought a granite vanity counter with sink to be installed on a free-standing vanity, and the installers made three mistakes: 1) When looking from above, the counter was rotated relative to the cabinet enough to be noticeable, 2) looking from the front toward the wall, the backsplash was offset to the right of the counter by a good 1/4" which was also easily noticeable, and 3) they were quite sloppy with the silicone on the backsplash, which is now very apparent as the silicone ages and turns a little brown. The installation I would rate a 2.

Rich Schelin: We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel that is, well not going well. The one shining star in all the darkness has been the Granite Place. Unlike all of the other contractors they came and measured when they said they would. They came out and installed half my counters today so we may get a working sink after 15 weeks without, and will be back to install the other half when the right cabinets show up.Luis and Junior were professional, didn't leave a mess, were friendly, and the counters look awesome. They checked in to see if they could come early, then showed up right at the time they said they would. A sadly rare trait in contractors these days.I wish I had the name of the gentleman who came to measure, he was great as well.

Karen Moore: We purchased a quartz remnant to be used for 2 bathrooms since it was the only beige piece they had. They initially cut the slab for the 1st bath, but they did not cut it correctly. Our plumber told us it was cut incorrectly because he couldn’t hook up the sink to the plumbing. The 2nd set of installers came back and wanted to cut our brand new sink so that the quartz would fit. But we told them no, and that they needed to recut the stone to fit the countertop. The 3rd group of installers came and did a good job of finally cutting the piece to fit. However, there was no more of the slab left to use for the 2nd bath. So I went to their stores and saw nothing available that was similar. So I asked for my money back. After 3 weeks and many emails and phone calls, I finally got my check back but only because I went there in person to pick it up. I would never go back to this place again.

Liz Portanova: This store has a beautiful showroom and huge selection. The sales process was great and turnaround was very fast. When we got to install, however, the crew was sloppy. They damaged my brand new cabinets both by breaking interior pieces off the sink cabinet and by banging the counter into a corner on a $1500 panel - damage that could not be fixed and The Granite Place was unwilling to engage with me on addressing. The crew wouldn't have even told me about it if my contractor hadn't seen it happen (they kept silent as my contractor picked up the chipped off piece of wood and said hey watch it!). Additionally, the seam was contaminated with filth from their tools, and I ended up with a dark grey line on white counters. While The Granite Place did provide good service and tried to fix this, the damage was done and only marginally improved. I went here based on all the fabulous reviews on Google so I just wanted to add this perspective. With all the granite options out there, I would not use them again.

Clarissa was extremely patient - and very knowledgeable! I emailed her so many times I was afraid she might block me ;) She answered every message quickly and always offered support. Someone offered to purchase our kitchen cabinets (including all countertops) but they wanted the counter granite and island granite to be in one piece - a VERY difficult task. The crew worked tirelessly to do that removal and were SUCCESSFUL! We'll be remodeling our bathroom next and they'll be our first call.

Brady Treanor: Our countertop installation took an extra week because these guys cut the hole for the sink wrong, leaving us with no working kitchen for a week. After finally correcting this the neglected to apply the needed caulking. Overall they were very careless and lazy, wouldn’t recommend.

Firstly, our fabricator in maine referred us to 5 or so places in and around Boston and CBS was the either the only one or one of two that was open on weekends. I really wanted my husband to choose the stone with me so this was very helpful. Our fabricator then fell through bc of timeline issues and Gilziane was so helpful in getting me squared away with my second choice and keeping my slabs on hold. There was also a very wonderful gentleman who moved the slabs around for us to choose our favorite two out of three. Great business- lots of choices - super responsive. Highly recommend - we are ecstatic to see the white macaubus on our kitchen counters. Their selection was one of the prettiest in this type of stone… looks like Jupiter sand. Ahhh! Exciting!
