First we got our feet checked and as I suspected my left foot and right foot had different probations. My left running shoe wore out much quicker than right! Second I got the right shoes!! 1080 or 860!! We were helped by many, including Ben (Penn alum!) And Calvin. Sorry I forgot the name of the gentleman who measured my feet. HE WAS THE BEST! Delay no more and go get your feet tested. NB got it right! Watch out Nike! You are boring now.

Key Patterson: I went to this store to exchange a gift that was purchased online, that I had been told by text/talking to customer service that I couldn't do via telephone or in person. Since I've been a New Balance customer for 20+ years I highly doubted that I wouldn't be able to do the exchange in store with my packing slip in hand. Text/talking to customer services solution was for me to either keep the unwanted items or return them and have the purchase go back to my relatives credit card which I didn't want. When I walked into the store I was greeted warmly by Monty. I explained my situation and he was more than happy to help me. He helped me pick out new items in store and when all of the items were not in stock in the size I needed in his store he hopped online and ordered the correct size and had it delivered to my home. He also returned the items to a gift card and made the new purchases with the gift card just in case something went wrong with the shipping(which it did not the item arrived the next day!) So I wouldn't have another negative experience with talking/texting customer service. Monty went above and beyond in my humble opinion and he deserves a raise or at least employee of the month!

I normally do not find things I really want at the outlet only the regular NB store. I’m not sure if it does the same as premium outlet in Ohio -has different weekly deals but hopefully so. Yes I shall return for both stores next year when we come back

Then I asked for another shoe is a certain size and he had the nerve to rudely ask is that the size you are wearing now? I think I know what size I want. I would never give this shop my business and will be calling in a complaint to corporate. This man lost you a lot of money that day because it was packed in there and everyone walked out because of him.

David Elizondo: Staff was impolite and offensive. Came in at 5:40 knowing that they were closing for the day at 6pm, and needed to choose a pair of running shoes along with shorts and a jersey. They were unwilling to help and rushing me out. Even one of the members said: “you have two minutes…”, I couldn’t believe it. I was set to spend 200+ on my running gear and was totally discouraged to make my purchase. Walked out the door and took my business elsewhere. Outraged.

The thin and black-skin young staff told me he doesn’t have 9.5 but he might have a pair in 10, then I told him I might still want to try. And, when I tried the left one and feels gd so I asked to try the other one too, he becomes not friendly again and said “then I have to lace it up for you” (don’t really know why he said so TBH). Then my wife tried on a pair of display shoes by ourselves, and one staff , called KJ, jump to us and blamed us for trying display shoes, and ‘educated us’ of their store rules. He also pointed out how customers feel if they purchased a pair of shoes that was tried on by other customers. It is very interesting, and I am curious if new balance sell customer display shoes or all their stock shoes were never be tried on? You are not only showed us how unprofessional yourself, but also how bad of new balance evaluate their salesman. I highly recommend the new balance flagstore though. Rachel Johnson: I’ve been going to this specific store for my sneakers for about 10 years and they are always great at finding shoes that let me keep going despite having long-term (20 years now) planter fasciitis. Got another great pair yesterday. The staff is absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable and I cannot recommend them highly enough. You also don’t have to be a runner—I am not—but if you want the best sneakers with the most comfort for whatever reason, this is definitely the place to go.

Sheel Patel: Marathon Sports is the place to go for anything related to running/walking/healthy feet! As someone who just started running, I was a bit daunted to go at first, but Steve helped me from the moment I stepped in and was incredibly kind. I explained what I was looking for (beginner running shoes), and Steve gave me expert advice after watching me walk and analyzing my feet/pressure points on a very comprehensive machine. He kindly broke down what kind of support I should be looking for in a shoe, and brought out 3 solid shoe options with an additional insole option as well. He answered my questions and showed me other shoes I was curious about, and gave me advice on other running gear as well. It never seemed like he was in a rush and helped me for at least 30 minutes until I walked out with a fairly priced pair of Asics. I look forward to going back and urge anyone who is looking for a pair of athletic shoes, for running or not, to work with the expert Marathon Sports staff.

Look elsewhere.The in-store associate that “helped” me wasted a half hour of my time as I attempted to return an item I ordered online using AfterPay. When I initially spoke with him he took my reference slip and attempted to return the item like I assume he normally would. When this did not work he spoke with his manager who instructed him to call a support number to process my return. He attempted to call this support number several times and then told me he could not reach them. I asked him if he was calling AFTERPAY to assist in processing the return to which he said yes. As he was unable to process the return in-store due to being unable to get in contact with AFTERPAY support, the associate then gave me three different numbers to call to assist in my return. Unfortunately the associate failed to mention that the AFTERPAY “support” he called was actually an internal FinishLine support team that specifically assist in AfterPay orders. Once I figured this out I called him out on not being clear about this and furthermore asked him why he would give me numbers knowing that they would not be able to assist me as none of the agents I spoke to sit on the internal team.This is extremely frustrating because it is a waste my time, the time of the people I spoke to and ultimately his time because had he been clear I would have left after my first interaction with him. This is a clear demonstration in what results when someone has poor communication skills and has to interact with the general public. Finish Line, you all need to do better.

joseph frunzo: a much better less crowded hectic location than the store at Downtown Crossing its a tad small but has enough selection that you can mostly find what your looking for except shoes/ shirts etc its there just limited its also pretty much empty due to the fact its located on the 3rd floor of the Mall in that corner next to the Macys Home Goods store ( not the actual macys an off campus part of it) prices and service are on par with others if your around stop in its not too bad and is good enough though i do live closer to the Burlington Mall location i prefer this one a bit more due to its more Centralized location close to Boston and everything nearby.
