ImprovBoston: what do users think?
Laura Love: This was such a blast! Can't wait to go again!
Mary Sullivan: Great classes, friendly people, hilarious instructors.
Kayleigh Shuler: Showed up for an intro to improv class (April 2022). No one answered the door and no phone number to call, so we left. Very disappointing :(
Elizabeth: Great venue and organization. The staff clearly like what they do. I've only been to shows here prior to COVID, but a friend has also taken an improv class here before and highly recommended it. Hope they are able to bounce back easily after COVID.
Simone Stivi: The new comedy school manager is very rude and unprofessional. If you’re a working professional don’t bother trying to enroll in classes. These classes are for full time students only. If any unforeseen events come up and you’re unable to attend a class they are terrible at putting you in for make up classes and then refuse to work with you after you’ve missed two classes. Waste of money.
Diane Kaye: We went to the New Years Eve family show at 4PM on the 31st. It was beyond bad. It was abysmal. Improve Boston should be embarrassed and ashamed. Simply dreadful. It was dark (and it was a kids show) and there was no talent. Please don’t make me pay and travel to Cambridge for an entirely amateur show.
Mike: Really fun venue to spend the night with friends and family. Our group went here for a bday and we all had a blast. The show was hilarious, engaging, and overall just a bunch of fun and laughter. The small bar and snacks available were great (beer, wine, chips, m&m’s, etc) and the performance was wasn’t too long or short in length; it was just right. I highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for something fun to do in town, either for the whole family or a night out with friends (all ages friendly).
Martina: Ive seen second city live in chicago and boston improv is even better!!!! Love & recommend 3
Sally Walker: Great little comedy spot!
Marshall Versteeg: I usually get nervous that improv performers will mess up but I never felt that here. We saw their mainstage performance and it was fantastic! Plus the cheap drinks makes this a great night out.
Yuval Rykaczewski: Tonight I paid $18 to see a Trump supporter get kicked out of a mediocre impov show simply for voicing his opinion, and then for cruel jokes to be made about him and his family. I will never be returning to Improv Boston. Talk about safe spaces, I thought Improv Boston would be one, but sadly, it was not. Props to the man who stood up for what he believed in. I did, too, when I walked out of the show early. If only I could get a refund for my wasted time and discomfort.
Eric J Hepler: UPDATE: This location no longer possesses a foul odor.
Maddy Shiel: Went to the Halloween space Odyssey "Gore fest" on Saturday night. Paid SIXTY dollars for two tickets. Biggest waste of money of my entire life. This should be more accurately called "5th grade Halloween musical." The whole thing was basically just weird singing. Didn't laugh/couldn't even bring myself to chuckle even a single time. I know comedy is subjective but I couldn't even see from any view point how this was supposed to be funny. So bad. Would have left halfway through except we weren't allowed to leave after it started. 0 out of 5 stars. Wish I could get my money back.
Reda B.: Amazing experience for improv show on Sundays at 6:30… for only 5$. Great team that interact with the public and make them participate. It s funny !
Hagai Lerer: Upclose and intimate. We had lots of laughs! Beer and snack available for purchase.
Jenny Xu: Really great experience here with my friend during a Mainstage for the first time — the actors were hilarious and they were extremely good at engaging the audience in the skits and making sure that people had some voice in what the next act would be. Had me laughing out loud a lot and I didn’t expect much but this place blew me away! Would recommend as a night out with friends.
bruce r: The least funny.
c w: Sunday night stand up
Gabby Perez: Awesome improve show. Will be back soon.
Michael Manak: Battle Royale last night was brilliant layered hard chop cuts of real just what we all need to hear for a good laugh! Thank you!
Debra Falzoi: Proud of a theater that can take a stand against exclusion

Equinox Franklin Street: what do users think?
prakash garg: Spacious and clean, that's what I was looking for, in a gym. I found it here. Very generous staff.
Alí Limón: Excellent sports club with a lot of equipment and fun classes. All trainers and advisor are very friendly. I recommend you contact Celia Fleckner, who has been an amazing membership advisor for me.
Ty Smith: Decent gym. Has everything you need but closes at 2 PM on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. For a gym that you pay over $200 a month for its a bit ridiculous.
Hamza Malik: Really good gym equipment, but subpar customer service and communication (pulling teeth comes to mind 😅). To be fair, a couple of their agents at the reception are superb, very friendly, and helpful!More so, they consistently struggle with having the HVAC system in the right settings, and it is usually the luck of the draw if you are going to be comfortable or miserable inside the Franklin Street branch. Oddly, that's not the case in their other branches. On the flip side, their fitness classes are really good. That's one of the things they have done right, and a special thanks to their phenomenal yoga instructors!I think dropping the ball consistently with HVAC and communication warrants a single star from me.
Naj Nakharis: Went in for a tour before starting a membership and love the gym. It's very clean and has all the equipment I'd like for a workout. Love the extra service they offer members. Met with Celia, she was very kind and answered all my questions. She sold me on the membership and how they tier their personal trainers. Highly recommend.
Colleen Li: Horrible customer service experience. They promised you what you would get after joining, and this would be gone when your “account manager” leaves equinox. Once that person is gone, you’re left completely in the darkness. Nobody to contact and if you call them they only tell you someone would reach out to you. Besides, once the person you managed to contact leaves the location again, you have to start over and find someone to help you again!
Arthur Zeitz: The employees are the nicest I've ever seen at a gym or anywhere honestly...if you are looking for a place to workout I highly recommend.
Maria R: Don't remember
Lori Prado: If you are looking for a community where you belong, with like-minded people to help you move towards your fitness goals, Equinox Franklin Street is the place for you! Best gym I have been a member of.
Joe Santillan: Adam Curry, the new GM at Equinox Franklin, is excellent. A glitch in Equinox's billing system resulted in members being double billed. Adam made a difficult situation less stressful by explaining what happened and what was being done to resolve the issue. He put me completely at ease. It's obvious that he really cares about this club and its members.
Andrew Brooks: My favorite of all the Equinox locations in Boston, nice selection of different machines and free weights, etc. The upstairs weight floor gets amazing natural light which is so nice during a workout. My only gripe and reason I took off a star is that it isn’t open on weekends, cause I’d choose this over Sports Club any day. Overall though, love this place and it definitely exceeds the Equinox standard in most respects.
Declan Codi PhD: Very nice facility, definitely has the best locker rooms out of all the Boston locations. The club on Avery street should take note. Most of the staff are pleasant, especially the membership consultants (but they’re salespeople), a couple of employees forget they work at Equinox, they have the work ethic and mentality of people who belong at a planet fitness.
Jonathan martin: I initially had a lower rating, mainly because the gym was closed to setup for an event that I was unaware of. Looking back, equinox did the right thing by sending an email out letting everyone know it would be closed, and the event was for a good cause.Overall, I would recommend equinox but keep in mind that during peak times the place can get crowded and the cleanliness of the facility can fall behind a bit during those times. Even so, it’s a lot nicer than showering at most other gyms. I wouldn’t mind more flexible hours, but I’m probably the minority in that compared to everyone else.
Aquarius: Extremely crowded during rush hour. Newly renovated locker room is nice.
Alex Rockwell: 1 star for not honoring my unsubscribe requests, a shower area that usually smells like a sewage backup, and a deplorable/rarely varied music selection .
Asu Terat: More places should be as friendly.
Mia Shin: I'm a member of Century City Equinox in Los Angeles and I love my gym, but it one tops CC.
Fazit/Summary: Zu teuer, unflexible Raten und fragwürdiger Gastumgang./too expensive gym for only members. No trial or flexible rates.
Kevin Nguyen: I am a big fan of gym's that have tons of space. This gym has two floors. It has pretty much all the equipment that you need. I am training for a men's physique competition and decided that this will be my primary gym. Only gym's in the suburbs have size so it says a lot that this Equinox here in the financial district has size and space.
Kenn Aquino: This place is absolutely fantastic. From the friendly and welcoming front desk staff to the spotless Locker Rooms-it's a high quality experience. I have been a Fitness Instructor, and a member at many different facilities, all over the country, and this one is top notch.
Penny Oh: Thought I would love it but it just wasnt for me.Thanks but no thanks

Equinox Chestnut Hill: what do users think?
Connor “dubsc” W: Best Equinox location in Boston. Staff has great energy!!
Kenn Soendergaard (RealLifeDad): I like this spot - It's what you can expect of an Equinox, expect there is not a store at this location. Work out, hang out in the lounge, snacks / drinks can be bought off an iPad.
Martin H: Just a bad experience all around. Staff is great, just a very uncomfortable experience that this company has curated...
Rosemary Henson: Truly genuine and kind group of people with great practices in place both for fitness and your safety. Highly recommend if you are looking for a diverse community of fitness minded folks!
Rebecca Walsh: The coaches care deeply about your journey into a healthy lifestyle. If you are new to crossfit or new to working out in general, everyone makes you feel comfortable and wants you to succeed in your goals!
Blanche Lott: They lead by example! Best coaches that you will ever have!
nancy F.: My home away from home. Inspiring staff and members. Good equipment, nice workout space.
Brittney Walley: Loved it!
Javier Davogustto: Just try it,full equipment, pool, nice environment, I recommend it
B 3: NOT this lifestyle!ONE MONTH IN…mice running from cafe,empty toilet paper & toiletries,Hasty COVID policiesANDANDANDgetting assaulted by a custodian!DO. NOT. RECOMMEND. Ever‼️
Jack Chen: Great place over all! Came here once a while. Equinox basically satisfied my traveler habit!😆
Barbara Smith: I love the calming effects of the music in the locker room and it was just nice to be back in a supportive space. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and super understanding. Definitely worth the investment.
Jennifer Valliere: If you decide to join, I would HIGHLY recommend joining their workout group classes. You will learn so much and see an improvement in your body and endurance.
Gayle Roemer: This gym is first class and very reasonably priced for visitors. It is a must visit gym when in town. Recommended!
Leonard Arnold: Great gym and great staff. They keep the class sizes small, so it never gets crowded even the class is full.
nancy friedlander: Inspiring members, trainers, staff.Always someone cleaning.I'm happy to belong.
Lena Owens: Really enjoying my membership at this Equinox. The classes are great, especially ones taught by Richard, Julie and Shai. I always enjoy my time here and they try to give their members a luxury experience. I love the sauna, spa, and pool facilities and the locker rooms, bathrooms and showers are always clean. I feel like the attitude at this Equinox is good, no judgment in the environment or from the floor trainers, everyone's positive. It is expensive at $200 a month, but you get what you pay for and it's one of the best gyms in the area. Definitely worth it as long as you can go a few times a week!
Augustine Vu: Dope gym, Dan is the best trainer!
Arlene Hodges: This is a serious gym but doesn't have all of the intimidation associated with a serious gym. All levels are welcome and encouraged to push harder and harder. If you are looking for a gym I encourage you to check out Equinox Chestnut Hill!!
Suzanne Thompson: Beautiful building, polite and attentive staff, and clean showers.
Miso Soup: They tricked me into a 1 year contract. They don't say anything until after you sign and want to quit. Everything they claimed to offer was a lie. The personal training never happened. The class schedule conflicts with my schedule. The pool is moldy. They put my clothes in the men's locker room twice and their laundry service stole my brand new shirt. Yes. They provided a gift card to make up for their errors, but to not mention anything about the 1 year contract until now? Crazy.
