New England Olive Oil Co: what do users think?
Fatima S: The best place to buy balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Nice people and good variety. My favorite balsamic is fig and blueberry. I recommend this place! Thank
J Pietro: This minimalist shop offers freshly pressed seasonal olive oils from around the world and a wonderful vinegar selection to go along with them. What more do you need?
Jeremy Pasha: Not just a shop, its an experience! Stacy, the owner, personally gave us a sampling tour of all the olive oils in the shop, teaching us about their differences, sharing her favorite flavor combinations, and ideas for recipes. Their oils and vinegars are perfect for gifts as well as great products for amateur and experienced chefs alike. Go with a little extra time on your first visit so you can try everything. Trust me. Its worth it.
Thomas Dorrance: The service was very friendly and accommodating. Offer me the opportunity whatever I want it. Great experience.
Amrith Kumar: The best place to get really good olive oil, and a number of other specialty items. Great gift options for the holidays. Lovely customer service, great team.
Natalya Gud: Great quality products!
Serge Gud: Great store. Great service when David is there. If you are going there first time make sure you call and ask if David is there, otherwise you will be disappointed
SHEMIL OGILVIE: Wonderful experience I'm glad I went.
Brian Cummings: Great selection of flavor-infused olive oils and vinegars. David is a great guide and nice guy, too! Check out the Groupon deal...
Omid Mohammadzadeh: Unpleasantly rude attendant was the first sign of an unprofessional business. The olive oil and vinegar store that offers samples but has nothing to dip into; when asked, the answer was “use your finger”! So disappointed there is not a zero star when reviewing this kind of businesses!
Linda Fahy: The products here are exceptional! There are different Olive oils to pick from and different balsamic vinegar. The sales people are knowledgeable and are friendly and helpful.
Mary Sue Ankner: Many interesting flavored vinegar and olive oil. I expected more olive oils from different countries. White balsamic grapefruit vingat was a pleasant surprise.
Matthew English: Just an incredible assortment of infused oils and balsamic vinaigrettes. I will definitely be back to try some new ones!!
Steve Kludt: Lots of selection. Knowledgeable staff. Fresh variety of olive oils, infused oils and vinaigrettes
Pat B: Large variety, friendly staff, quality ingredients
Wai Lai: Nice variety of flavored oils. Samples of each are available. Goes well as a salad dressing or bread dip
AdventurousJenni A: Came here for the first time today. We will not be back. I've never been treated so rudely. The girl was clearly put out when I asked her some questions. I actually had to interrupt her on her cell to get a bottle filled for me.I've also never been to an oil olive store that offers samples but nothing to dip into it... we had to use our fingers... really folks??
Scott Snow: Great products. I would recommend trying this place out.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Joseph Sarno: Good stuff
ALEX MESA: Fresh fruit
APL Restoration: Nice place
Thomas Haynes: Always good
Jonathan White: Usually very crowded with long lines. It shouldn’t be hard to add more self-checkout registers… This is simply disrespectful to your customers. If you get anything from the hot bar, it gets plain cold by the time you check out. Moreover, the cashiers are the slowest ones I have seen at a whole foods.
Russell Deyab: Clean covid free, friendly environment very nice employees prices are just right..overall beautiful store.
Benjamin Sanchez-Lengeling: Good
Chante: Good products and big store
I-Ching Chiu: 物美價廉新鮮
Husang Lee: It's a small whole foods with limited selection. Parking is ample at least
Elias D: Honestly I drive the 10 minutes to this one instead of the Brighton one within waking distance on weekends because I have the privilege of having a car. The reasons being: there is always ample parking, it is never as crowded, there is always more selection of food, they sell wine & beer, and they have a deli worker who really knows how to slice prosciutto well.Prices are typical of whole foods. The store is very clean and the staff always friendly & patient with folks. There are only about 3 self checkout machines here but the wait is never too long.
Kristin OConnor: Always has everything in stock I go for in the employees are especially helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
JGal: Thank u 2 employee named Sayeem! He was so kind 2 me when I goofy spilled meatballs in the self -checkout. Cleaned up & helped me bag my items 2 boot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Zack Trapper Fey: Best whole foods in Cambridge
Dan M: Unfriendly staff but more so the store management in the grocery department. Only redeeming quality is its never too busy but I don’t understand why this is open with the Somerville and Central Sq stores so close.
Santiago.SE2gCB Brito: Todo es de primer nivel
vandeta ward: Good place to work
Yvan Pearson: The best kale
Treva Fitzgerald: Very fresh food and a very clean store. Everything we purchased was delicious!
Chef John Slattery: Great selection and service
Eoin Kenny: Quite a nice big store with a nice selection and not too pricey. I don't give it five stars because I just I'm not sure what a grocery store would have to do to earn that and I'm still waiting.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
JD D: I was just told this whole food does not have a restroom. And if people have to use the bathroom they have to go across the street to another business.
L Zsolnay: It's not one of the best Whole Foods, but the location is great. It is a bit small and doesn't sell alcohol. The one on River street is a lot better.
Sayed Mousawi: Other than pricing . It's all good
Darline Green: Despite its location this store rocks! Produce super fresh with a huge variety. Always food to test throughout the store. The bakery is out of this world. The staff is educated and willing to help. Lots of parking.
Colin Marcus: I've been going to this Whole Foods for years and it has gone downhill in a big way since Amazon bought it. If any health inspectors are reading our reviews - please visit this location! The vegetables are very old. As in, you buy some strawberries at 8pm, put them in the fridge, and the next morning they have molded. I've had this exact scenario happen FREQUENTLY with: strawberries, raspberries, figs, blackberries, and even blueberries. They sometimes sell spoiled meat. Like, slimy meat that smells like death. I've had this happen to me several times in the past 1-2 years. It's especially a problem with uncooked sausages and ground beef. At this point, I only buy vacuum-sealed meat packages from their freezer section. In a nutshell, it seems that they are desperate to never throw anything away even if it is expired - they don't care at all about quality. Which, considering the sky-high prices, is really insulting to the customers. These are long-standing problems and you'll find other reviews where people report the same issues.EDIT - I showed this review to my mom and she said "yeah I bought spoiled meat as well".
ANITA VARMA: Doing good. Bringing awareness about the importance of Fresh food.
Helen Paul: Wonderful experience
Tom Oscar Bjørnstad: Godt utvalg av dagligvare.
Christopher Audette: Meat department is very good friendly staff
Magali Bertolazzi Vezzaro: Large choix de produits.Note finale aussi élevée que le nombre de produits de qualité.Tout a un prix.😉
Ngoc Tran: The mango cake was really nice. Wish they have small portion so I can feel less guilty :)
Luis Polanco: De todo un poco, bien!!
Dan M: Parking can be crowded but surprisingly never had an issue. It’s a small store but the staff is generally friendly and no lines except for rush hour. I’ve had great friendly interactions with the cheese department. Wouldn’t go out of my way here though.
Its all Within: Needed a refund on a $3 carton of Soy Milk which went bad after 3 days. They wanted a receipt, "store policy." Unlike Trader Joe's and Shaw's, which will do it for you in an instant, they just trust you. Whereas Whole Foods wasted my time and that of the sales person and the snarky store manager, who said that he considered this a good use of his time. I can see the US losing ground to China because of policies and people like this. I'm a 20+ year Cambridge resident.
Alexandra A.: Great selection for a small store. Decent produce, deli and mini hot bar. Some of the best self checkouts too. Not finicky like a lot of other stores.
Nelson Hernandez: Love the butcher's department. Great service.
Rob Phippen: Excellent food on offer, and helpful staff. I asked about what cream to get, and got a great recommendation for cream from a local organic source, which also happened to be cheaper than the big name brand.
Chans View bomh1029: Awesome store, the best mashed potatoes in the world. Great employees!

Trader Joe's: what do users think?
Joyce The Voice: Always a good experience.
Sammy Shalaby: One of the good ones.
Dorian Blue: This place gives mom and pop vibes but it’s not and that’s amazing, all the hand written chalk board and friendly employees like your friends have this place a community like personality and makes feel at home, prices are a bit high but it’s all organic so I find it worth it
Seth Schorr: Good selection
Mary-Claire Smithson: Sometime in the last year or so the service at this store has plummeted. THEY DO NOT BAG YOUR GROCERIES AT ALL if you bring your own bags -- the checkers just toss the bags down, start scanning items as fast as possible and watch items pile up. Once they finish scanning, they will literally watch you bag everything. On a regular weekday morning when it's not busy, workers will literally stand there at their registers, leaning against registers with arms crossed, doing nothing, while you bag everything. A couple times I've asked for their help just to make it faster, and regretted it: the cashier, with obvious displeasure, shoved everything they could into one bag, overstuffing it, with avocados on the bottom. Just weird and utterly passive-aggressive, and obviously something the staff has agreed upon since you can look down the registers and no one is bagging. I can understand wanting customers to help, and I always did -- but literally not doing anything? I've been to multiple TJ's in Boston, NYC, and midwest cities in the past year and no others are this bad on service.Staff on the floor are usually super-helpful, which is why it's so mid-boggling that they are drawing a line in the sand with bagging?
Sherrianne Sparrock-Sandiford: For a busy store is always clean. Staff is friendly and items are ready to find.
Christine Ruest: Clean and always has what you need. Friendly professional staff
Tekie Anday: Not a typical get everything grocery store, but what's available in store is good quality.
Davis Sweet: I used to work at Trader Joe's, and it is a friendly place to work and to shop
Caleb Bergen: You already know
Игорь Мокеров: Очень обходительный персонал
Chief 0: Well stocked well staffed with helpful friendly people. Try the Curried Chicken Salad.
Hanka Staniecka: SUPER !!!!!
Paul Griffin: Always good if you know how to shop it. Won't get everything but many good items.
Karmen G: Muy limpio . Muy organizado y con buenos productos.
Chepkorir Sambu: Very easy to find things here!
Nicolai Cauchy: TJs is NOT good for produce or fruit. However it has a GOOD selection of meat (most in vacuum packaging), Mochi (ice cream balls in rice dough), nuts, and I love their Echinacea Lemon drink. The staff is IMHO exaggeratedly "wannabe hippie" whereas the prices are NOT truly community oriented. The particular store on Alewife Brook Pkwy in Cambridge does NOT sell alcohol (regrettably).
C S: Way over priced these days, I w been shopping here since they opened. The parking lot is a joke and that’s not their fault, but don’t go if you have an oversize vehicle because the parking lot is made for small cars only.
Florent Daccord: Outstanding people and great products. But pricey
Camille Both: Love this grocery store! The people are nice, the prices are fantastic, the parking is good, and the produce is fresh!
Alpha Jalloh: Fresh veggies

Trader Joe's: what do users think?
Bill C: Trader Joe’s is always good, but this one may be the BEST! Not the biggest, in fact they seem to restock the whole store every day, but the staff is amazing.
Josh: Lots of parking.
Eoin Kenny: Nice but pretty cramped.
Judy Rauchwarger: As always, great service and great selections
Carol Szabo: It is a typical Trader Joe's. Well organized, friendly checkout staff. Good prices.
Shane T: Nice people. Healthy choices. My wife--in preparation for the Boston Marathon--could not find canned chicken to make a simple night before, pre-race meal. They did, however, have precooked chicken in the refrigerated section which made an excellent 2nd choice, but also was a bit higher price. Nonetheless, we got our food plus some kombucha and everybody in the store, including customers were kind and helpful. I think the Bostonians can smell the country on me and recognize that I needed help figuring out where everything was. I am a fan, a product, and a practitioner of Southern Hospitality. I must say that Boston has their own form of it, but I just don't know what it's called up here. But everyone here has been great.
Mel: This Trader Joe's is HUGE! There is another one closer to my house, but I drive the extra distance here since they have more stock. There is also always a ton of parking available.
白河310: 楽しい
Chris Bailey: They have cosmic crisp apples. That is all.
Angel Pacheco: This is my regular Trader Joe’s. Now they have a policy that they give you the bag so you become their bagger. I didn’t know I had to start working for Trader Joe’s for no pay to do their job. In addition, they started rushing me to finish up packing because they had other people in the line. if they don’t like that, they should do the bagging. Not a great look. Don’t need a hassle. I’ll go down the street to Whole Foods
Chris Lowe: Love this place nice meats outstanding veggies and fruits
VM Vm: They have been around for a while and always available to the public .
Corinne Haase: First time at this location. Great, friendly staff who were very helpful. Definitely will be coming back here again. Very clean and good parking
Karen McCracken: The thing I like least about TJs is that there is no location close to me.
Jeffrey Ohl: They have the best fruit and veggie cleaner here!
louis crescenzi: Great stuff good prices nice store
Brett Woofter: Lol, did you know Trader Joe's doesn't sell American cheese
rodney alejandro: It’s Trader Joe’s. Best grocery establishment in the grocery industry.
john payne: This one really holds it down.
Kim Miles: Always great prices and pleasant customer service food is impeccable.
Ms.toyya handy: Places very clean easy to get to has a lot of parking and the employees will give you information about products or look it up for you if you need it to be looked up basically go out their way but that's only if you ask close mouth doesn't get feed

Star Market: what do users think?
C S: I wish the woman working the self checkout at night would be even ruder to me for no apparent reason. I want the full Porter Square experience. No imitations.
Aili Jin: This place is very conveniently located, and the 24-hour opening time can be lifesaver sometimes. They have a good variety of products, and we especially go there to get vegetarian stuff. It's not the cheapest place to get groceries, so it's not our regular store, but we shop there frequently for specific items or when it's on our way somewhere.
Mike Powers: Good selection, little expensive
Nancy Fernandes: it's very expensive. Not a great trip.
Kira Pilat: What a wonderful grocery store! I especially want to thank the very talented artiste Manuela in the Bakery department who created my beautiful birthday cake!
Paula Frye: I enjoy shopping at the STAR MARKET in Porter Sq Cambridge. It's cleaner, prices are lower, and employees are nicer
super sonic soul supreme: Good range of products
Thomas Farrell: Star has ok selection. Prices are higher than other nearby supermarkets.
Erin Kayata: They've done a lot to improve their pickup service and it works like a charm now!
JP Shero: I really do appreciate that they open until midnight, not just 11 pm or even 10 pm like the other Star Markets. And I like the store overall, and most or all employees I've encountered at night in past year or so seem nice.
Wanda Sanchez: It was my pleasure working at your store. Most of all, I enjoyed assisting the customers without prejudice or competition. Being that customers is your business. I respect them and my mission is to assist the customer other than just a paycheck. I have happily worked here in the middle of obstacles, stalkers, and other drastic cases. But I as a business student, having the passion for it got to this job while attempting to work with myself and losses. It always nice to ask about people's issues, causes if they know and solution for a descent conversation. Speculating and carrying on makes it immature and disrupting for those who has needs and wants likewise you. Want to say to every Good customers that it was my pleasure working with you. Where there is a joy that a door shuts on you. Another open and with drug test. Wish every respectful customer the best of all. The ones who hand me pashmina scarves, those who persist on tipping me and did. I happily shared with baggers. And then co-workers who never had a problem that I work there. Made enough fund to start a business if I had no crazy expenses. Always remember. Got to move on. Get ready for my things to do list and new job. My original sentiments
Richard Guinn: I enjoy this store.
R Fox: Great fresh variety of foods
Karen Aldred: Always HSS what I'm looking for. Produced dept. always has fresh food and store is very clean
Doug R: Not cheap but ADA friendly & free parking.
ernani delfino: Perfeito
manik kawsar: Good place to buy groceries, but they are slow in billing.
Barış Bilgi: Nice market
Gloria Ha: Star Market and I have a long history together. One of my greatest regrets from my first year living in Cambridge was that I didn't have the Star Market app. I could have been saving so much money! I could have known when the shrimp sales would happen instead of checking in person every day! But hindsight is 20/20, and I'm happy to be a loyal user of the app today.Yes, Star Market is on the more expensive side for most things. I will usually go elsewhere (Trader Joe's, Costco, Hmart Burlington) for necessities that are overpriced at Star Market. BUT their weekly ads and app-exclusive deals can be amazing, and you can get ridiculously cheap or free things. 25 cent 5lb bag of potatoes or pack of blueberries? Free kimchi with the Saturday Sampler? 67c/lb stone fruits?Whenever something I want is on sale (or free) at Star Market, I stock up. Especially during shrimp sales (it goes down to $4.97/lb, so I wait for that). And there's usually at least one good deal in produce so we're never lacking. So yeah, Star Market is expensive if you're not using the app and buying everything from there. But if you use the app to plan out exactly what great deals you'll take advantage of, it can really enhance your food supply. This location itself is spacious and nice, and I've always had a good experience interacting with employees. I always use self-checkout which works just fine. I would also recommend going earlier in the day for produce (especially if it's on sale), because usually at the end of the day only the beat up stuff is left (I'm looking at you, jalapenos).
John Correia: It's good because it's close to my house
omar bensaid: Awesome management, and awesome customer service staff and, yummy healthy food very well displayed and easy to locate for new customers.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Russell Ives: Other than being really nicely laid out I want to specifically thank Chris in the meat department for being an absolute homie. I had come in to grab some steaks and saw that they did dry aged steaks as well. Unfortunately they were out when I got there. I asked if they took preorders and Chris said no but that he'd be happy to give me a call if possible whenever the steaks were cut. I told him I was looking for a ribeye and he said he'd let me know. What do you know, he calls me today to say that they cut some this morning! So I swooped by and grabbed one. The steak was absolutely excellent but Chris really sold it for me. He was super polite, super congenial, and went out of his way to help me out and make me happy. 10/10 service from a 10/10 dude. Thanks!!!
Patricia Torcello Catalina: They don't carry Hershey's Chocolate or M&Ms!! 🤨
Nambians: Great organics
Madalina Petrovitch: Idk if they just hire anyone but I tried paying not having my wallet and asked if I could type in my card number with my card in my hands being present… and they cashier and supervisor tell me they don’t know how to do that and start laughing rudely!! If you’re going to have workers make sure they are nice and welcoming and know what they are doing !!!!
Mitzi Morris: A great store we expected, with a very good seafood selection. Unfortunately there were only two registers open, and 2 of the self-checkout registers were not working. I had to put my ice cream back.
Diane Ellis: Great food to choose from but way too expensive
JW T: I go shopping in this Whole Foods quite often. Most of the time the butcher Dept refuses to cut the meat that the customer requested, although they offer meat cutting services. By doing so, they made many types of excuses, such as machine broken (6 times), machine already cleaned (3 times, at 3, 4 pm? Even at 11am?), butcher was sick (3 times, only one butcher work?), butcher didn’t work (4 times, even though I went to the store at AM), etc. I reported this situation several times to the front desk, but nothing improved.
Charlene Cormier: Although I have a Whole Foods closer to me, I prefer going to this location as it’s bigger and has a bigger selection. They also have a large hot and cold food bar back in business after Covid, which is super helpful on those nights I don’t want to cook.
Juro M: One of the best locations in our area outside of Fresh Pond.
Martine Janvier: Little pricey but good quality
Susan Bottari: It's ok. Their prepared foods section is lacking compared to some other stores and they never have pizza!
John Leavitt: This Whole Foods is a great store.
Chuck Bunting: Typical Whole Foods now with self checkout
Gabriele Manganaro: Fantastic variety of foods. Excellent for quality fruits and vegetables. Also great variety of cheese, meat, fish. It's got it's own coffee shop, Gelato, pizza brick oven.... Top quality supermarket in the area and well above most other whole foods market too.
Edson Jan: Great food at break time
Peter C: This store has really good fresh meat. The vegetables are always fresh. The mere is two downsides to this store. The price of items, and the selection you won’t find your normal food selections you would see at other supermarkets.
Jackie Kong: sold expired granola...
Timothy Phillips: Sometimes you can find mold on fruit or vegetables/cheese.
Chief 0: Well kept and stocked with high quality food
Michael Shea: It's okay friendly people
April Lauf: Love it here! It’s been awhile since I been in, but I do like the few new self-checkout kiosks. Staff is super friendly and finding everything I needed was easy to find in store (as usual). Thank you!

Star Market: what do users think?
paula gaete: Love Star market
Adam Bottis: This is a great store
Jessica: Star market is a very clean friendly very convenient supermarket
Han: The drive up service is extremely convenient and fairly priced.
Neil Judell: We go here for the commodity staples of life: toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, detergent, etc. There are so many, many better choices for things like bread, meat, fish, fruit and vegetables
Edward J: Great variety! Love the staff there!
Yvonne Raia: Well stocked, clean store with lots of parking.
Mr. Maurice Evans Jones: I went to this location and the toilet overflow into the main shopping area. You couldn't walk anywhere. A nightmare
Iris Geller: Very nice supermarket. Very well stocked. Even a good amount of health food products.
Jocelynn Holland: So I ordered from the app store market and I said 2:00 to 6:00 it is now an hour and a half late I called them up three times in the first two times they put me on hold for 30 minutes to an hour.... The second time when the manager finally picked up I asked him where my order was and he said no one ever picked it up well if no one ever picked it up why didn't you call me or call the company to find out why that's not happening I called them and I live chat and said where is my order and they said that to deliver is going to be on its way find out they never picked it up.... I had to run down to the convenience store just to buy mac and cheese so my kid could eat tonight cuz this groceries for tonight.... I don't suggest anyone ordering from the app... And I think this is the last time I'm going to shop at Star market because I've always had problems with them the one in Porter the seafood guy is extremely rude and doesn't care about cross-contamination.... If my order does not come in tonight's then I'm going to call corporate and talk to them to get my refund my full refund and I'm going to take my business elsewhere to whole foods or stop & shop....
Ron Trial: Good selections moderate prices.
Lorraine Magarian: Easy to find items - comfortable atmosphere - lighting is shopper-friendly. Prices are a bit high, but the location is very convenient.
Richard LaTores: Too expensive
George Torres: The manager was rude and unhelpful.
Adam West: Absolutely some of the worst store management I've experienced in the area. No one ever knows what's going on when you ask for help, the produce is often way past it's prime and prices are not competitive. Recommend you find an alternative whenever you can.
Tayo spoonzess: Good prices
Dylan Callahan: Overall pretty expensive, but I love that they stay open till 2300.
Nicolas Rios: Una tienda con excelente servicio y buenas ofertas
Luis Cruz: Mucha variedad
Gary Luongo: Cashier Check out person David and Emelia are Always Positive, Friendly and Professional. Sincerely, Gary 😀
Timothy Nelson: Prices are out of control here, nothing is ever put away, and there’s random displays in the middle of already narrow aisles. Only go here when I have to.
