Charles Square Farmers’ Market: what do users think?
Brian Twitchell: Variety of vegetables and fruits, some meats and breads, and my favorite ravioli vendor, Valicenti, was there! They have continued on Sunday into the winter. Occasionally different vendors. Today they had fish and syrup and jam.
Jonathan Carey: Very cool assortment of shops. I bought a leather traveler's journal and enjoyed browsing for a while.
Byron Drury: The Charles Square Farmers Market is good. There are several farms and merchants with general produce, meats, eggs, seafood, and pasta. Flats Mentor Farm, which is there sometimes but not every week, has excellent Asian vegetables including amaranth (callaloo), squash blossoms, water spinach, and the largest scallions I've ever seen; Kimball Fruit Farm has a huge selection, especially if different varieties of heirloom tomatoes and apples; the farm at the end (farthest from Kimball), whose name I can't remember, has outstanding eggplants and other veggies.
Kveten Nerudova: Good onions
Steve Minicucci: Number of stalls can be limited these days, but there are usually at least two farms selling veggies and at least one (Kimball sic) with fruit as well. Pasta guy on Sunday is excellent.
Elizabeth Rockwell: Fresh, local and delicious produce. Shop Kimballs Fruit Stand when you are there. You can’t beat it.
Amit Amit: Love visiting and picking up locally grown vegetables.
Nydia Valentin: I recently moved to the area and I was very happy to see fresh veggies from local farmers.

Hutchins Farm: what do users think?
Brian Clarkson: Great produce! Unbelievable
lucy wheeler: Absolutely beautiful great views
Gene B.: Currently closed for the winter, but always a great selection of locally grown produce.
Jean Marie Flaherty: I love this farm stand! Everything is so fresh. I get to pick my own flowersBest pumpkins! Just made roasted pumpkin and pumpkin seeds. Need too back and get more. 😊Staff is helpful and fastPlus the road to get there is so relaxing and I love looking at all the gorgeous homes. Have gotten some great ideas for landscaping my home.
L L: We love Hutchins! Particularly, we love their seedlings in the Spring. We always buy tomato and pepper seedlings that consistently do well, with lots of heirloom varieties. Their online catalog has specifics about the various seedlings. Their apples have been less reliable in recent years. I used to buy big boxes of them in the Fall. Their potatoes are always tasty, winter squashes abundant and flavorful. Carrots sweet, and no one can match their hot peppers for consistency and variety!!!
Allan Silva: Great produce and service
Andrew Arace: Been visiting for years. If you're looking for the best organic seasonal fruits and veggies, this is where you should stop.
Crispy Chicken: Love this country store
Stephane Herwitz: always good produce
Steve Mathieu: Pretty farm.
Amanda S: Amazing!
Eva Jellison: Last week of the season is underway and there is still plenty of produce. My family has been coming for years, even when they were shut down and only putting out asparagus. Best produce in Massachusetts.
Karen Paklin: There is such a wonderful variety of greens, roots, squash, potatoes, and peppers. Everything is really bright and colorful, and it makes for a refreshing Saturday morning.
Erica F: Would give 100 stars if I could. Simply the best.
Sherry Seaver: Organic produce. Interesting varieties. Great fresh greens.
Sandra Monaco: Love this place! Was our first time and I couldn't be happier with what we bought. Organic goodness😋I am actually writing this review 12 days after our visit because I am still eating the kale I bought 12 days ago!!! I am floored at how long this farm fresh kale is lasting compared to what I get from the local grocery store...Wow! The blueberries were also delicious both raw and cooked (blueberry muffins). We also got cucumbers that were crisp and delicious and didn't give me the indigestion store bought garden cucumbers do. Not waxy and gross! My only regret is that I don't live closer so I could visit more often.
Dale Graessle: We were just cycling by and wanted to take pictures...
SelfEsteemArchitect: Sustainable organic farm. I have been going there for years and I have never been disappointed. Yes, there can be the occasional bug in the corn however I will take that over spraying my food with poison anyday. Besides a wide variety of veggies and fruits, they also carry some local products like bread, eggs, honey, spices and salad dressings--you can also pick your own flowers and there is soil and plants for sale early in the season. It's a 30-45 min drive to shop at Huchins for me but it's always worth the trip. Don't forget to walk out on the back deck to appreciate the expansive view of the farm. This farm truly has a spirit...
Alexandra Urban: Extremely fresh - grown right in their backyard here on Monument Street! Would recommend the apples when they’re in season. While you cannot count on this farm for weekly groceries (that’s what Crosby’s is for!), it is a wonderful supplement to any dinner - what better than home grown fruits & veggies! It’s not a formal place - but who needs fancy? It’s not Whole Foods - it’s a real farm & that’s refreshing :)
Karen Brady: Cannot rely on what they have posted online as available. Used to be known for their delicious garlic in early fall, garlic braids, etc. Now they are sold out first week of September. Musn't be growing as much. Not really worth the trip if you are driving from other than local address.
Robin Pernice: Best farm in Massachusetts
