Orinoco Harvard Square: what do users think?
William Weber: Excellent vibe with friendly staff. The food was good, especially the ribs! Arepas are good, but won’t blow your mind. Could be a little more moist and the white sauce was quite garlicky. Yet we enjoyed our time and it’s a great find for Harvard square
Kenneth Mallon: The availability of menu items is hit or miss but it's delicious when they have everything. Limited drink menu.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Plaintains with Cheese, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Costillitas, Tostones, Plantain and Cheese, Datiles Bacon-Wrapped Almond-Filled Dates, Pork Erapas and Chicken Ensalada …More

Shiran Soholitsky: Cute little restaurant on a sided street, feels like a family restaurant. I liked the design of the restaurant that felt very authentic. The food is delicious, very tasty empenda and steak. The only thing that bothered me was that I got the feeling that we were rushed to leave. We barely finished what was on our plates and served the bill.Besides that experience, this is a great place to eat, especially with family, in my opinion.
H: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: YesMore
Richard C: Authentic, homey, delicious Venezuelan food. The environment is cozy and the staff is very friendly. Love bringing friends and family here.
P S: Cost little restaurant with absolutely amazing empanadas! The only catch with this place is that it closes too early.
Curt Raffi: Intimate, awesome and authentic... Tucked in a side alley right off of JFK Street in Harvard Square, Orinoco serves authentic Venezuelan food and serves it in an intimate and personal way. It's a perfect place to go on a cold winter's night to connect with friends and enjoy some wonderful food. Overall I rate the service and food an A-.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Costillitas, Pork Arepas …More

Ellen: I don't have much useful things to add beyond what other reviewers have said/taken photos of. It's a cozy space with great service and amazing food. I got the arepas, ribs, and Cordero. Everything was delicious. If you're still trying to decide where to go for dinner, and you aren't veg, try it out.
Tim Sheng: gorgeous Latino foods had off harvard campus! they are truly representing the culture and arts! must go there again.
NISHAT NYC: The food was good, but the man who was training a waitress was very rude. 3 of us went last Saturday, August 20th, 2022. We asked this person for menu and specials, he was very mean. It’s not a nice environment to have a mean server :(
Marina Mozak: Good food, pretty place. But there was a really bad smell while we were there.

Gordon Fu: Pretty good, the chips and mole sauce for the duck were a bit too salty but overall it was nice.
Mark Miller: Things have changed for the better. We arrived during a slow part of the day. Had the chicharron, soup, and fish tacos. The fish batter was oily, but the flavor was fantastic for everything. So much better than the last time we visited many years ago. Quick friendly service. I'm glad we have this place another try.Parking: Olé is down a very narrow street. There is parking next door, but managing to and from may be tricky.

Jeremy Moy: This has to be the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been too , I order a mushroom with bread item , got zero portobello mushroom in it , just a burger bun and very few veggies , I can’t imagine how this place stays in business , plus rude staff. Went there Valentines night , place was empty , big red flag
Nineveh O'Connell: Eaten here twice — once dine in, once take out to give it another go — and it was just alright both times. My La Milpa tostada was really dry and rather flavorless, and my friend was also disappointed by her chicken burrito. The veggie chiles rellenos were a bit better when I dined in, but still nothing exciting

Isaac Santelli: Great place to go with a group!Recommended dishes Chips and Guacamole, Chiles Rellenos …More
Jea Kim: Great casual Mexican restaurant with great food and service.Recently came here for dinner after work. Olé seemed like a typical Mexican restaurant, so I initally didn't have high expectations. Yet, most of the menus we ordered were fantastic and the portions were also good for the price.Topped with crispy braised pork belly, chicharron was an excellent bite to start off our meal. The fried fish in the fish tacos was also perfectly crispy, but it would've tasted better with more jicama slaws. Carne asada came out like an American steak with Mexican sides, but this was my favorite of the meal. Not only was the meat very tender, but also the guac and the jalisco salsa added interesting flavors to the meat.Either you're looking for a place for a casual hangout or a delicious Mexican food, I highly recommend trying them out.
Maya Bingaman: I ate in today and the food was top notch and fresh! This is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend the guac and chicken taquitos

Corazón de Frida: what do users think?
A. Makela: I got a chicken quesadilla for lunch and it was delicious. the chips and salsa were pretty doggone good too! Service was tops, with attention to detail.
Phoenix Mayet: Picked this place based on the good reviews. They were right! Very good food, beautiful presentation, and friendly service. Recommended!
Sami Laine: A good place to have a cold beer and delicious Mexican food during hot summer days. Luckily I happened to cross the street while wondering around the streets during conference week.
User User: They do not pick up the phone and orders online is awful
Ada Dogrucu: In start contrast to the nearby Ole, Corazon de Frida offers a wide selection of very tasty grub which they nail every time.
Rahul Ramesh: Great food! Really loved the decor and it was a fun place to go with a group of people
Archana Sondhi: Great place with fun ambience, nice people and awesome Mexican food
Gerry Hallahan: Went here for lunch. The BBQ chicken quesadilla was steamy large and delicious. Our server Lady was friendly and helpful. Service was slow since Lady seemed to have too many responsibilities.
Dr.Ahmed Farhoud: Nice popular Mexican restuarant where you have outdoors and indoor seats ,the outdoor is literally in the street which is very nice experience ,food is tasty, staff are helpful and friendly ,value over price is moderate, guacamole especially the spicy is very tasty ,fajitas is fine but not super needs more meat in it ,as a whole it is nice restuarantParking: When we arrived at 5 pm there were parking available in street ,it was Friday BTW
Alejandro Nuñez-Jimenez: Delicious and abundant food in a friendly atmosphere with lots to choose from. The best was the table guacamole, prepared in front of you with a fresh avocado and on a volcanic bowl. Steak fajitas were good and great quantity. My friends had tacos that also looked yummy (but, to my taste, a bit less Mexican than the fajitas). I had a michelada which was good but not great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices were fair. There's an outdoor seating area with quite a few spots and many more indoor. Overall, a good, uncomplicated option.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options but not many.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access.
Albert Gnadt: Al Pastor tacos were on point
David Alvarado: It’s a good place for drinks. Free chips and salsa is served before your main course.
Julia Moreland: Delicious mezcal drinks! Fun outdoor seating in the summer.
Victor H: Friends and I went here for Mandatory Margarita Friday :) Was not disappointed! Everyone got something that they enjoyed, and, as a gluten free eater, lots and lots of options!
Keira Leal: This was amazing! Really good food. Service was fast and great. Spent about two hours here gouging ourselves with food. Would highly recommend.
Mark Diethelm: The loaded nachos are excellent, Margarita's delicious and it's a great location. I'll be going back for sure.
Tom Reid: Great Mexican food. Authentic recipes and excellent service. Glad to have discovered this place.
Martha Gutierrez: As a CA native I had high expectations, Corazón de Frida met them all. From the guacamole to the birria tacos, it was all delicious. The horchata ice cream and churros with cajeta are a must. The margaritas are the real deal. Corazón de Frida is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Boston area.
Joaquin Pabon: Beautiful place. Well decorated. Great service. My only reason to give 3 stars in the food seasoning.
Kelly: I came for brunch on an early Saturday, and it was pretty empty. I got the horchata French toast, and it was delicious and very sweet. I was pleasantly surprised, but I think the other items on the menu were a little lackluster. The hash and eggs, and the huevos rancheros weren’t as great. And the abuelita hot chocolate was not authentic at all, it tasted like straight up milk and no chocolate. I think the menu for brunch is quite small, with not much variety.
Jessica Compitello: Really friendly servers and maybe the largest burrito I've ever seen

Mex Taqueria & Bar: what do users think?
Sahar Tariq: Come here for the vibes, not the food
Jaz: Sweet Plantains are great. Everything else was a disappointment. Rice was undercooked and hard. 😒Food: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Imani Majied: Mex is not a place I would go back to for food. The ceviche had way more liquid than fish. The food fell flat overall. On the other hand, the rooftop vibe is nice and I imagine it’s a great place to watch a game and have a drink with friends. Nice staff too! If you want a good meal, however, the quality of food / drinks isn’t really worth the money.
Phillip Tran: Cocktails are great and reasonably priced but the food was more expensive than it was worth. The corn tortillas of the tacos had an unappealing texture that was somewhat leathery (but you won't know the difference if you're drunk lol).Regardless, the service was great and friendly. I would recommend the sushi taco though. It was very unique. I also highly recommend the street corn.
Frenchy lim: Drinks were bomb, ambiance was dope. Empanadas was aight, churros was delicious!!!Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More
Ralph Beentjes: We weren’t expecting to find such a great Mexican here, simply because we weren’t looking. We walked by it and saw the cool bar and then the upstairs rooftop and had to try it out. The sun was great upstairs, excellent service and the food was great. Chips&salsa on point (always our first test!) and the drinks were delicious. We loved it!
Mary Carmona: Had brunch here yesterday for the first time and it probably won't be my last. We were there as soon as it opened(11am) and had our choice of seating. This place has 3 FLOORS y'all! Top floor is a small cute rooftop with a fireplace. Of course we chose to sit up there. I had a margarita(never too early) and huevos rancheros. They were both good. Everyone liked their food. Only thing was service was a little slow. Make sure you have time and patience when you go.
Ben S: I’ve been to Mex a few times but last night was the best because I met Molly who was managing the upstairs. She was doing it all! Celebrating the parties with sparklers, sitting people down, bringing out food, making sure the fire was comfortable for everyone around it…. She made it such a great experience!
Sara Van Schaik: Easily some of my favorite tacos in the Boston area! Great for sharing. Al pastor tacos in particular were fantastic and flavorful! Liked the outdoor eating option with heat lamps. Great atmosphere.Parking: Lots of open street parking spots down main street.
Robert Shoaff: Stopped in close to closing and had a wonderful time. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and food. The specialty cocktails hit the spot. The food selection made it difficult to land on a choice.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Dietary restrictions accommodated Vegetarian, Vegan Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend …More
Jessica Lee: I came here with a party of seven and sat on the upper level, where multiple people in my party complained of the loud music. The volume was not decreased (which I understand; it was a Saturday night) but what disappointed me was the manager inaccessibility and overall response to those complaints, as little effort was made to accommodate them. One of our dishes with a special instruction was made incorrectly and had to be redone. Besides this, wait time and food/drink quality were standard—nothing above and beyond. I ordered the sushi taco and was neither impressed nor disappointed. Therefore, the higher prices were not worth the overall mediocrity and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.
José Luis Escobar: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Quesadilla de PuercoMore
Peter Bromley: Needed a quick snack whilst waiting for a lift home. Quick service and they chose a good dish as I had little idea how long it might take.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kian Stone: Good
Shayene Gabriela Vieira Iza: wow perfect
Jacob Poole: excellent Mexican
Marisol Bond: good place
Oswald Gerhold: Fantasic place
Fatima Kalam: Nice looking place, really bland food. The only thing that's decently seasoned is the meat, nothing else. Got the chilaquilles and breakfast burrito. Chips are soaked in grease.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lauren Guglielmo: Carmen was fantastic and attentive. Food was delicious. Would definitely go back!

Orinoco: A Latin Kitchen: what do users think?
Jeffrey Liu: I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent take-out order from your Southend Boston location. I have been a loyal customer for some time and have always enjoyed dining in at your establishment. However, my experience with my recent take-out order left a lot to be desired.Specifically, I ordered my favorite dish, the arepas, for take-out, and I was disappointed to find that there was not enough sauce included with my order. When dining in, your restaurant offers unlimited sauce, and I have always appreciated this generous policy. However, when I received my take-out order, I found that the amount of sauce included was not sufficient. As a loyal customer, I was disappointed that the same policy of unlimited sauce was not extended to take-out orders. I understand that take-out orders may have different policies, but I feel that as a customer, I should have been informed of any differences in the sauce policy beforehand.I hope you take my feedback into consideration and address this issue for future take-out orders. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to continuing to dine at your establishment.
Alonso Munera: A hidden Gem! I chose this spot for my first date with my wife and for over 20 years this is still the first spot that comes to mind when dining out. Our 12 and 14 year old girls can't get enough of the Maracuchitos and Datiles wrapped with bacon. Being Latin American, let me tell you, if you're looking to try authentic venezuelan/Latin american food, this is the place. The Pabellón criollo (rice, black beans, pulled beef and plantains) is absolutely delicious; it's the real deal. The empanadas are great, flavorful. The service is arguably better than the food!
Kiara Ortega: Loved this place! Arepas were delicious ! Salad and Tequeños were amazing ! Def recommend the Sangria! Small restaurant but super cute and waiters were super attentive.
Sharon Coleman: I agree with MKay -- although I don't think it was racism but just incompetence. Like his experience, just ordering a bottle of wine was an ordeal- we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and the server brought a glass of Chardonnay. We even showed visuals -- the service was inattentive. Seems like Tuesday night is more of a take-out night. If you are going to only do take-out, you should say that you are only open to take-out or hire enough staff that your in house guests don't feel like they are imposing on the staff....
Mary M: Sorry I meant to put five stars
Travis W.: Love the food here! Everything we ordered was delicious. The creamed quinoa was my least favorite of all we ordered, but it was still very good. They only have two deserts on the menu, but they are both excellent. The molten fudge cake is probably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
R F: A little hidden gem. I feel guilty even writing this review because I want to keep this place to myself.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
frank gomez: I had the arepas with shredded beef and cheese. I have to said that it was pretty good. Good ambiance as well. I will definitely be back.
Ramon P.: My friend brought me here because he loves the food here. It did not disappoint. The food was really good. We got the churrasco, pollo Verde, empanadas, mini costiquillitas, and margaritas. The staff was friendly and attentive.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Bacon Wrapped Dates, Adobo Smoked Churrasco …More
Chase Hopper: Ordered dinner for take out and absolutely loved the food we got (empanadas, smoked churrasco, cachapa pabellon). Can't wait to dine-in soon!
lacholitarubia: Amazing! Such good food!

Lukas: Perfect food and service
Sara Van Schaik: Food is always spectacular, especially the empanadas. Beautiful interior and warm atmosphere. Very affordable for excellent food.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kevin C.: Outstanding service and authentic Latin food. I came here because I was craving Cubano food with my wife and we enjoyed the food and service. They are very polite and communicate very well. The rice beans plantains and the churrasco were extremely mouth watering delicious. And If you end up ordering cheese empanadas, just make sure you can overcome the addiction of the taste.
Jairo Gentil: Ciertamente los nombres incluidos en el menu son venezolanos, pero el sabor no es ni parecido. Si el deseo es comer comida venezolana este no es el sitio mas idoneo para hacerlo.
Lucas Goldman: Amazing food, great variety, very fair price, top notch service, awesome atmosphere. Will be back. Hidden gem
Ramon G: small but really nice food was great service was ok, could use little attention/poor/small drinks occionParking: off street parking
Ramon Guzman (DBostonpa'elmundo): food was great love it defanally going back soon, real small drink choices but great teste of made out for it .Parking: off street parking

I ordered the steak burrito and it was amazing. Today I ordered the chicken burrito and churros and it was worth every penny plus. There is so much love packed in the food. I could not recommend enough.
Charles Mac Fadden: The Street corn was amazing! Loved the Birria Tacos as well! This is a great place for a quick bite or comfort meal!
Justin Folkers: Some of the best Mexican food I've had in the area. Very under appreciated for the quality of both food and service. There is limited space in the dining room, but they have managed to do a lot with what they have. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

Ransher Singh Nain: Very underrated Mexican! The staff is super friendly too
X “Y” Z: I have now had many of the options from Beantown Taqueria. I have been more than happy. I enjoy their ability to bring to this area, at least to my taste, a welcome attempt in authentic Mexican cuisine. And, beyond this, they are delivering effective Tex-Mex. I am a fan for their ability to deliver this somewhat rare set of products in Boston, and their focus on presentation even at 1 AM.Furthermore, now, I am impressed with their decision to introduce the heat variability. Extra hot is certainly extra hot and flavorful. What a great establishment. Fantastic flautas.
