Samantha Powers: TERRIBLE! Can never schedule sick visits because they are always booked. Need to book regular appointments MONTHS in advance and even then, they try to reschedule. Can never see the same doctor. Wait time is horrific. Have been trying to get the medical records for my kids to switch to a different pediatric place and that too has been a process. Have yet to receive the records and it’s been months at this point. Wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE.
sefanit Hidug: It has been 3 days to get a Dr to my daughter. She still sick have a bad fever I call this morning still wating more than an hour. I don't know what is the solution

Katrina Chu: Impressed with how easy it is to communicate with providers and how easy it is to schedule all manner of appointments such as the flu vaccine and Covid vaccine clinics. Mychart option is also great for accessing our vaccine records and latest physicals online. Very happy with our practice! Only downside is how popular it is such that you have to schedule well visits way in advance.

Thanks again for all you've done for our family.ORIGINAL REVIEW: We've been patients of Dr. Riney's for the past 13 years, and the quality of care is really excellent - we love Dr. Riney, Cindy, and all the other providers we've met. They are competent and compassionate and it's clear that they love their work.I will say that one area that has disappointed us in more recent years is that their reception staff seems harried. The last few times we have called for an appointment, the receptionists have been very perfunctory and not terribly willing to be helpful or patient. This is a change from our initial experiences here, which were always warm, and from what was attractive to us about the practice in the first place. There have also been cases where we've been told that we'd receive a follow-up phone call about referrals that never came. And around flu vaccine time, trying to get an appointment at the clinic is nearly impossible - the last few years, we've just given up trying and gone to the CVS Minute Clinic.I wonder if it isn't a case of the practice expanding too much too quickly. It hasn't yet gotten to a point where we're considering switching practices because we love Dr. Riney, but we are a little disheartened by the changes we've noticed.
Janina Matuszeski: Dr. Riney and all other physicians, NPs and staff are excellent. And we have worked with pretty much everyone over many years. Super-competent and smart, and able to easily work with kids of all ages. The advice is clear and practical. And where the science is still new, they are clear about that, too. We have brought our twins here since they were 2 weeks old, for almost ten years now, and we could not recommend it more! Get your kids into this practice if you can. The MyChart and after hours on-call response to more routine medical questions has also been very helpful over the years.
Ankur Dikshit: Extremely long wait every time we are there. Does not matter if we take an appointment 6 months in advance or a week ago. Last visit after waiting for an hour past the appointment time when I ask how much further would we have to wait as I was getting late for another thing I was told by the lady there "this is normal, trust me the doctor is not getting a manicure". How rude can someone be? We have had to wait for at least 45 mins to over an hour without fail every time I have been there for the last 10 visits.One big positive is that the pediatrician is wonderful but some of the staff being rude to this extent is something I cannot deal with
Munirih Yeshwant: We have been at this practice for 7 years and they are PHENOMENAL. I'm a physician myself, and I have been consistently impressed with their clinical skills and organization. Someone always calls you back, you can get an urgent appointment on a weekend, and most importantly, they are very very good doctors. Dr Riney in particular is amazing.
Colleen O'Vo: My 4 children have been coming here since the first one was born in 1996. Even when I lived 30 minutes away, I would take my kids no where else. They genuinely care about each child and the family as a whole.From my questions and concerns with having two kids who are adopted to my youngest child having chronic health issues, we have always felt very cared for. From Dr. Richard Goldstein who was their original pediatrician to Dr. Jennifer Gill and NP Cindy and all the others there, you could not get better care.They are like family and I will miss them all when my youngest is too big to go there.

Cami Chen: During the Pedi Meet & Greet I requested, we spoke with Dr. Mahoney, who warmly and patiently answered all of our questions. Unfortunately she was out on vacation when our 5-day old baby needed the first appointment, so we saw Dr. Gupta. He told us that in his culture they don’t wake the baby up to feed (baby-led strategy). While we were glad to hear that Dr. Gupta brings diverse perspectives and is culturally aware. Still this took us by surprise, because in our situation there’s a clear medical reason why we need to do exactly the opposite of what he shared with us. When we aligned on the chief complaint and workup plans, Dr. Gupta worked around the clock and helped us with care coordination to get specialist care which we were super grateful for.Overall, the clinicians and staff here are dedicated, kids friendly and very responsive. The biggest dealbreaker for us was that this facility doesn’t have Lab or Radiology on-site.This meant three things. For one, we had to make extra trips to get diagnostic testing. Secondly, we were informed that there was a slight (unclear) risk that certain types of blood tests could be inaccurate due to delay in transit if any. Thirdly, we had our baby’s blood work both sent to (first collection) and collected directly (a repeat test) at Mount Auburn Hospital, but were unable to view digital test results directly in MyChart because it was done at an external facility. It took us an hour to check in, wait around and have the blood drawn directly at the hospital - very inefficient. This didn’t work out for us - your typical time strapped new parents.We eventually decided to switch to a different practice with an Integrated Care Model and have staff available also during lunch hours.This practice was disappointed that we were leaving and spent sometime explaining to us why things were the way they were. It took us 3 back and forth conversations to communicate our decision to leave the practice to the Nurse/Doctor/Registration before they accepted our final decision.My partner was conflict averse, so I had to deliver the difficult message multiple times which they did not like to hear and kept pushing back. I personally found this off-boarding experience exhausting and a bit disrespectful.We were lucky that we were able to get an appointment with our new Pedi the very next day. When our new Pedi office requested the transfer of medical records on our behalf, this place were non-responsive and canceled my access to MyChart so I couldn’t provide a written consent. The office staff decided to call my partner only for verbal consent of such transfer, but left out the name of the health system we choose to go with. I had to jump in and request them to confirm the details.If you don’t mind the system inefficiencies, this practice is great and has very dedicated clinicians who are eager to call, listen, followup and help. It just did not work out for us.
Tamara O'Rourke: My kids see both Dr Mahony and Dr Gupta and we love them both!!! They are fantastic with my kids and incredibly supportive and helpful to me as a parent.
Joanne Choi: Our two children are patients of Dr. Mahony. Dr. Mahony is caring and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen to our concerns and answer any questions we have, no matter how trivial they seem. Her explanations are always clear and easy to understand. It's obvious that she truly cares about the well-being of her patients and their families. We feel fortunate to have found such an excellent pediatrician and are grateful for all she has done for our family!
Mason Uvaydov: I’m a local family dentist and was looking for a pediatrician for my two boys who understands the importance of listening to the concerns of parents and is accessible! Well, Dr. Gupta and his associates have been wonderful in both respects. Every time I have needed some reassurance, responses have been prompt and always with sound advice. They will see you the same day if need be. They accept a variety of insurances which has been helpful as we have changed ours a few times. If you are seeking an accessible team that knows what it’s doing then this practice is exactly what you are looking for.
Jay Weier: Great pediatrician’s office for first-time parents! Dr. Diskin was our daughter’s pediatrician for her first year. From our initial meet-and-greet until our last visit, Dr. Diskin was always thorough, helpful, and understanding. She has an approachable personality making parents and children feel comfortable during the visits. We trusted her with medical advice and were extremely appreciative of the extra time she would spend with us answering our questions during and after our visits. We moved from the area and were disappointed to leave such great health care team behind.We also never had to wait more than a few minutes for our appointments and scheduling was fairly easy. The office is clean and has plenty of parking. Our only complaint about the practice was that we had several issues with billing/insurance that were not resolved in a timely manner.Overall, we would highly recommend Dr. Diskin at Belmont Cambridge Health Care!
saurav pradhan: Was given less than a week notice to switch insurance or lose access to PCP. How am I suppose to switch insurance in middle of the year and its so difficult to find doctors accepting your insurance and new patients quickly. All this while my son is sick and needs to see doctor. Now urgent care is the only option. I didn't have issues before with them but this left a very bitter taste.
Promise: Dr. Gopal Gupta is a great doctor! He spends quality time with my kids answering every question and concern I have every time I've visited. He's never in a rush. The nurses have all been o helpful as well. I've called in several times for issues and they always give me a thorough answer and when needed will go to the doctor to get further advise. I'm glad they replaced some of their front staff they were the only part of the experience that wasn't great but now it's much better.
Allyson Goose: Love our kids' doctors here! Always get calls back and they're great about fitting us in quickly if a kid is sick.
Missy Roode: When I first visited BCH and interviewed Dr. Gupta about his practice, one of the things he told me was that he wants to make sure that no parent with a sick child ever has to wait days for an appointment. I can say that in our first year with the practice (with two young children), we have always been seen the same day for our concerns, without a lot of skeptical questioning to find out if my child is REALLY sick enough to be seen. This, along with the exceptional standard of care overall, has made us into very loyal and happy patients at BCH!
Rob Brachowski: Both our children go here and we have never had a bad experience. Both the doctors and nurses have been wonderful with our children and take the time to talk to us (the parents) to make sure that all our questions were answered.
Gloria Hankin: We tried one of the pediatricians there. She took my baby's hand and shoved it into my baby's mouth without reason and without asking whether it was ok to do that.When I called to cancel all future appointments with this individual the receptionist hung up on as soon as she'd cancelled it even though I was still talking to her. I do not care but I still want to mention this here because others might care.Two weeks later they call us to schedule a new appointment even though I specifically told them to cancel all future appointments and that I'd never go back there!

John Smith: Terrible bedside manner and incredible incompetence of medical care. Gave advice significantly different from other pediatricians and misreported condition of child in post care notes due to negligence.
Yolanda Dephonce: She’s a good doctor. I had her my whole childhood and did not want to leave. My family had her too. She actually listens unlike other doctors and finds a solution. She’s honest and helpful.
Saha: I don’t know about the pediatrician here, but phone services leave so much to be desired that will look elsewhere for doctor. I called at 4pm and was on hold and hung up on twice between 4 and 4:32. When I finally got through at 4:32 the ‘answering service’ said I had just missed them as they had left at 4:30 (two minutes before) and I would have to call again in the morning. Busy working mom no time for this. Looking elsewhere for pediatrician.

julie callahan: This women saved my child's life while she was managing the care of at least three other patients some of whom were not native English speakers. Our daughter arrived to the hospital with flu like symptoms. In less than 20 minutes she made an assessment of her medical needs, informed us that the CHA would not be able to handle her care and suggested two other hospitals near by that could. She arranged an ambulance,called the hospital where we were going to inform them of her case. When we arrived to the next hospital she was seen immediately without having to register at the emergency room and wait. If we had to wait we may have lost her. CHA staff including the nurses the administrators are highly professional and capable. It should also be noted that her pediatrician at CHA followed her case through the digital daily uploads from the hospital where she was being treated.
