Charles Hayden Planetarium: what do users think?
Justin Kwiatkowski: Classic, still educational & entertaining.
Dustin Lemke: We saw the Laser Floyd show on a Saturday night and it was so cool! They played the whole Dark Side of the Moon album and then did Comfortably Numb as an encore. The place was almost completely full for a 9:30 show, which surprised me, but that just shows how good it is!
Cass: I used to go here all of the time for date night a couple years ago. We love the variety of shows they provide, educational or not. Especially the music ones, like Pink Floyd & Rihanna. I plan to go back soon to try out one of the kid friendly shows during the earlier hours!
Alex C: I saw the Radiohead Musical Experience here and it was amazing! The sound and visuals were amazing and it really was worth the $10 admission. Seats were comfortable and the whole experience was really memorable and totally recommended. We'll be keeping an eye on the schedule for the musical "experiences", for sure.
Manuel Ando: Excelent
Joseph Tavano: Lots of updates since 2010. Watched a really cool very immersive film about Mars. Highly recommend seeing a show here as part of the MoS experience.
Rafael Peña: Excelente
Moises Reyes: Awesome, it was an unforgettable experience, I recommend it 100%.
Tatiana Rios-Castro: the show we saw on saturday at 12:30 was horrible. the live presenter had no idea what he was talking about and the only thing entertaining about it was if what he said was going to match up to the constellation that was on the screen, 50% of the time he was wrong. Waste of money and time.
J Grech: I went to the Fleetwood Mac Experience and I cannot emphasise enough how much I loved it. While I do enjoy Fleetwood Mac's music, I would not consider myself a fan as I can barely name a single song of theirs. The decision to go to the Experience at the Planetarium was purely because I happened to be in the area and wanted something to do.It is incredibly well done and I loved it more than I can accurately describe here. The only problem there is, is me not having a good enough memory to retain every second of the Experience. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Anne Thorpe: Very comfortable seatsUnfortunately missed some of the very interesting presentation on exoplanets due to being so relaxed I fell asleep!Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Gerald Gregones: It was a neat show! I love stuff like this and it was super cool. Definitely recommend. It's good, clean, interesting and visually stunning fun for all ages. It's educational too!
Diana Rodriguez: My kids loved this place!!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Elisabeth “Liz” Mortimer: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $6–10More
Laura Michalski: Fantastic museum staff. Informative and interesting presentations.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Matthew Brenner: Modern digital planetarium shows are wildly beyond what you remember from your youth. The Charles Hayden Planetarium produces some of his own shows, and the quality is exceptional. Bring your kids so they can learn about the universe and our place within it. Bring yourself so you can remember that magical feeling of marveling at the wonders of outer space. Shows are affordable.
Alex Johnson: Went here about 9 years ago. Absolutely breathtaking. So incredibly immersive and real. You completely lose yourself. I almaot fell asleep in the reclined seats, thats how comfortable they are❤❤ I love the narrated space documentaries watched on the domed/curved ceiling. The dome shape really feels like there's stars raining down on you and comets coming right at your face. Absolutely incredible planetarium. I need to go back here so badly💓
Stephen Kwok: Lots of different variety of things for my kids! Lots of activities and some live animals/insects to see. Electric show is always great to see. Right now there's an Artic ice wall and area that's very cool!
Nathan Blair: It was good.. but the Nasa data is out of date. I would think there is more up to date material they could use.
Don Shade: This museum has excellent exhibits produced by Harvard and MIT scientists.

Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory: what do users think?
Francois Kapp: Check for public access or open talks before going. Fascinating place with rich history.
Abdol Rahman: Had a terrible conversation with Dr. Francesca Civano. What a terrible professor! Such a pity for a university like Harvard to hire people as rude and offensive as her.
Robab Hashemi: Great and peaceful center to work! Love the friendly atmosphere there.
A.GARCIA PHOTO: The bees knees
R M: Very nice spot. Thought I could get in and see the deck but it was only open to public on Thursdays. Worth a visit but on the public days.
Chris Madan: The public talks are great! See what's coming next on their website! I was there for the talk on "What is a planet?"

Judson B. Coit Observatory: what do users think?
Joseph Bourque: Great for kids and general public, but staff is volunteer and not up on latest information. Limited by Boston's light pollution and would be a good spot to encourage a campaign for better lighting solutions for that part of Boston.
Wayne Geiser: It can be very difficult to get tickets. Although the tickets are free, they "sell out" very quickly. It took a number of tries to get tickets and we had one week that they canceled due to clouds. They had three small telescopes set up on the roof, each pointing at a different object with volunteers to answer any questions you might have.Being in the city, the selection of objects to look at is smaller than if they were under darker skies, but it was a fun evening!Parking can be a bit of a problem in the area unless you have a BU parking sticker.
Makeba Murray: I was told to confirm the Wednesday evening viewing event 2 hours to start time. I did. Then upon arrival there was signage that the event was cancelled due to cloudy skies. Information that was posted 48mins prior to the event. After bringing my family including my four year old daughter to attend I was very disappointed. Not only did I have to let down a very excited child but I had to take the 40min drive back into our town after getting to not experience what we signed up for. I am hesitant, but may consider signing up again for the observatory, only to make up for my little ones disappointment!
Pete Fleurant: During Spring and Summer, the BU Observatory is open to the public. It's a chance to see Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, or just the Moon up close! The lines are short and it makes for a great evening out.
Broken Laundry Door Hernandez: I got free tickets here to check out the stars at the observatory. They just put 2 telescopes on the roof and some guy who has given up on himself tries to tell you fun facts about the moon and most likely prays for a clear night just to keep himself happy. The view of the city is cool, just don't expect to be wowed by the stars in the city.
Joe Pondaco: 3 telescopes great guides
R. Schuyler: It is free, so do not expect much. They had three Meade telescopes. They where 10", but where hard to see much because they were mounted on the grating that you walk on so they were shaking making it hard to see clearly through them.
Roman: Excellent view of the city in all directions, seeing the plants through the telescopes is amazing as well.
