The best part is that they only make you pay for the snacks/drinks when you're leaving (if you don't get anything, it's only $7 an hour per person). Also, they have a snooker table in the back, it's massive. One day, I'll have the precision and concentration to play...

A great place to come and play a quick game of pool, a little quiet but enjoyable. I would totally recommend everyone to come, but do not be intimidated by the dark dingy building and parking lot.I also got to meet a nice man named Jacomo (probably butchered his name) who taught us a nice lesson of snooker! Kind man and got to have a tour.Park in the lot and come up through the stairs, eventually you'll see the grand hall! :)

It looked like a private area, which we enjoyed.Although it was an old building, meaning not a fancy place, it was full of player with many tables to play.Possible to buy drink, or small snacks.Not pricey.

Richie Leng: By far the best and one of the few proper pool halls left in the Greater Boston area. A good variety of pool tables which include cushion, snooker, and many well maintained 9 footers with competition-grade felt and balls for any discerning pool player.This hall hosts BCA leagues and tournaments often so you'll always find great competiton and players here. Don't worry if you're a beginner-- the atmosphere is competitive but very open at the same time. They offer cue repair services and some basic concessions but they do not serve alcohol or meals there.

Cal Pernicious: It’s a dark, basement of a pool hall with a bar and few video games. Its open late and definitely attracts the local riff raff, which I would say is part of the charm. Guaranteed to be entertained by a drunk Bostonian looking for a fight on a weekend night, so you’ll want to keep your eyes open when that show starts. Decent size pool hall with full size tables, but most are pretty shabby. If you need a late night drink, this might be the place!

Luca Bares: This is a decent place for anyone looking to casually shoot a few balls around. It does offer an interesting experience for any pool player though since the felt they use on the table is like that of a snooker or chinese 8 ball table with napped cloth. The tables there aren't chinese 8 ball tables, but the one I played on probably had 3.5 inch pockets which was an interesting experience.The also have a 10ft snooker table in the back which is probably worth checking out, but I wasn't able to while I was there. A couple hangups is that playing there will be reminiscent to playing in just about anyone's basement. I.e. in certain spots your cue will run into a pole or bit of the wall that's too close to the table.Not a big deal, but it is noticeable. Overall it's worth checking out I think. If it weren't for the pole/wall situation I'd give this place a 4.5.Also, I saw a comment above about cash only. This isn't the case anymore since they accepted my credit card without problems.

Francisco Verón Ferreira: Great vibe! Laid-back and fun, this pool hall is accessible through the drop-off next to the parking lot in the back of the Mixer eSports/Boda Borg building. It was $14/hr for 2 of us. Tables are disinfected after ever game. They have good tables and cue sticks, and it also has an arcade machine and a claw machine. Great place to chill with friends, play some rounds, and eat some snacks, while listening to KTV songs.

Dalton Stewart: Great place for the casual player. Not to loud, very clean (they sanitize all tables after play), and very affordable (for 2 people, 1.5 hours was $20). Good assortment of drinks for purchase, and great interior decor. We'll be back for sure!
