Nate Gilbert: I came in looking to do three valuable sports items, including one jersey. I came in with lots of phots of what I was looking for, and after I worked with them for about a 1/2 hour, I figured there was a solid understand of what I want going to get, especially for the price. I had seen some of their work on the site, so I felt conferrable bring in such valuable items. When the pieces were delivered to me, I couldn't have been more disappointed with the jersey. It was wrinkled, uneven, and did not look presentable. The two signed large prints looked fine.We brought the jersey back to BFW, and were met with much hostility and rudeness. The gentleman rudely said to someone accompanying me, "Oh, are you a framer?", when they mentioned something about previously framed jerseys in the home .We presented him again the photos from before and that this wasn't what we paid for, and asked for it to be redone. He reluctantly agreed, but I should have asked for my money back as well.I recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

Mitchell Tutein: I give them 100% completely satisfied by the hard work that is put into each frame that is made! The price on the other side is the downside! If it could be about $100 cheaper than progress of clientele will evolve more rapid! Word of Mouth goes longer ways in local cities!

They explained all the options clearly, offered great suggestions based on the photos I brought (of the picture to frame, the room it will be in, and the wall we will hang it on), and walked me through the various pricing options and variables without any pressure. Everything you could want. They sent me home with some sample and we will likely make a purchase next week.

I did not catch that in their online listing and the sign on the door was not visible because previous customers were holding the door open. I was rudely chased out. No big deal, but I didn't think the degree of hostility was warranted.

Jon Camp: I was taking part in a fundraiser for a non-profit animal advocacy group in Boston. We had a framed drawing that was donated to us for a raffle, and, when carrying it, I accidentally dropped the bag containing it, and the glass cracked. I took this to Big Picture Framing, and told the friendly woman working there what had happened, and asked if I could just buy the glass as opposed to a full frame. She not only allowed me to do that, but donated the glass and services, since what I had received was a donation. She did a flawless job with her work, and this very generous gesture was incredibly heartening. I highly recommend this store.

I got a custom frame for a 12"x12" at this store and the girl there was very helpful, friendly, and patient in making suggestions for my frame.I've yet to find custom framing that I'd call cheap, and this place wasn't cheap either. But, the employee was always careful to note when something was a higher price, and she didn't even mention the more expensive types of glass before I asked for one.Standard wait time was something like 2 weeks, which is the same as the big picture farther out mass ave (arlington, I think). I don't know if they could have done it faster if I'd asked.I'd have no hesitation in using this place again. My 12x12 photo came out great, btw.
