First United Presbyterian Church: what do users think?
Bennett Chaney: I’ve been attending services there and have volunteered a good amount of my time since 2007, and it has been a wonderful place with a congregation made up of people from all over the world. The messages and studies are top notch, and you will always feel welcome and accepted. A recent (less than 10 years ago) update is an extensive renovation that included an elevator, so this is a mobility-accessible church building.
Caty Jones: Amazing church and the people become your second family. I have had so many childhood memories here and I love this church so much! And just so people know the church has been updated and has an elevator now!
David Ambio: I was told it is an excellent preschool! Children grow as individuals with the love and care given at Little Folks Fellowship. And little folks fellowship nursery school has an extended hours from 8:30 AM EST to 2:00 PM EST. Lots of experiments via the weekly science instruction; and art yard paint training. Clean facility, friendly service.
Becky Williams: Excellent Preschool! Children grow as individuals with the love and care given at Little Folks Fellowship. So thankful for the teachers. My children learned about experiments through weekly science instruction. They had a wonderful unit on artist and even painted on their backs to try painting like Michelangelo! I could not recommend this preschool more! Low child to teacher ratio. Super clean environment! Friendly, welcoming, loving staff.
Laura Rauscher: Not wheelchair accessible. How is it that you just exclude that part of your flock? I was not able to attend a family funeral there. How painful to be excluded at a time like that. Please work on this!
denise keegan: Many happy childhood memories. Many of congregation have been active members for generations
Jérémie Guignard: When I moved to Cambridge, I knew very little about the various types of churches of the neighborhood (and America in general). I decided to walk in the First United Presbyterian Church because it was close to my place, just to give it a try. It was a great decision. I discovered a welcoming and lively community of kind and cheerful people, and a place I dearly miss now that I moved out again. I warmly recommend this Church to people who are looking for open-minded, thoughtful and supportive fellow churchgoers. There is great music too, both classical and contemporary.
Linda Griffith: I was raised as a Methodist in the South then quit going to church in college and grad school. When my husband and I started looking for churches we visited several in Lexington and Cambridge (we both work in Cambridge). We fell in love with this church for so many reasons. It has a mix of people from all walks of life, and many have been going to the church their entire lives and have unshakeable faith in God that is inspiring for the new-comer, especially the newcomer who is feeling her way back to faith. The service is classic in structure and very thoughtful and educational - scripture readings followed by a sermon that puts the text in context and makes the scripture come alive. There is always a "coffee hour" after the service where most people stay and chat over ample refreshments (we all rotate bringing food & making coffee). The music director is fantastic - she is part of the band, the Porch Party Mamas, and has nudged/encouraged many of the shy congregation members (including my husband) into joining the choir and the band (guitar, clarinet, trumpet, various other unusual instruments from time to time, including bongos). There is a mix of west african music with more traditional music and praise songs, as many congregation members have ties to Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ghana. The church yard is currently dug up as we are renovating the interior and re-landscaping the yard (in part to separate the storm and sewer drains, as required by Cambridge). We are looking forward to a much improved landscaping to brighten Inman Sq - we are also building a children's garden.

Suryadi Hertanto: Matthew 5:14-16 (WEB)You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Jesse: Great people and everyone is nice.
Igor Danciães Almeida Silva: Attended the service in Portuguese once. It was very nice. Nice and friendly people.

Shawn Trautman: Wonderful, and welcoming congregation. Reverent, warm and passionate worship. The preaching was a faithful and practical expositional sermon. Great message.
Dirk Pomp: A good Biblical preaching, and very friendly people
Kb N: Liked the message preached , good interpretation of text. Hebrews 13 was read. But sadly no one tried to talk to me when I left. A foreign stranger.

Seven Hills Presbyterian Church: what do users think?
Tim Wiggin: Seven Hills is a great little church. Genuine people, tight-knit community, and some really good kids programs. Causal atmosphere on Sundays and welcoming to people who aren’t from a churchy background.
Annalise Kontras: We found true connection and community here. Seven Hills is a welcoming church with great music, relevant messages, amazing children's programming, and many opportunities to get involved and build relationships. Also, you can't beat the snacks in the back!
Bart Tocci: Great, welcoming community of people who love Jesus, care about Somerville, and care about one another. I’ve been there for a couple years and I’ve grown a lot and met some very good friends. There’s no lights/smoke machines/heavy production—music is simple but really good, with lots of new takes on old hymns. Lead minister is David Richter: he’s smart and thoughtful and really good at helping you think through difficult questions. His wife Kelly is hilarious. Ask her about all her famous friends in Nashville. There’s childcare if you have kids.I’m super biased so I’m giving it 5 stars.
