Bennett Stehr: This place is an absolute lifesaver. Their printing capabilities cover a far wider range of features than FedEx or UPS. Their staff are far kinder, more patient, and more personable. They worked directly with me and my team to ensure they completed in a couple hours what UPS said they couldn't do and what FedEx said would take them 3 days. If you need help printing in Cambridge, you MUST use this place.

Katerina Placek: An amazing local business. I’ve use gnomon copy at least twice now, and each time the customer service has been so considerate and kind (thank you Nate!!). I had my wedding programs printed here and gnomon did a perfect job and shrink wrapped them so they wouldn’t get damaged before the wedding. I’m so glad businesses like this are still around in harvard square!

I don't need peppy or super friendly service, but I do need baseline respect. Strangely enough, his tone changed halfway through speaking to us to being less biting and even friendly. I am unsure what is going on, but as people of color, it is especially uncomfortable to be treated with hostility from the moment you walk into a business.

The next day I got an email asking if I needed any help ordering since I had uploaded the image; we worked it all out and he helped me figure out what size I could print it without cutting the edges off. I'm super happy with the whole experience.

They ask the right questions and make sure you are making an informed decision about your printing needs. Furthermore, they have come through for me in a big way--more than once--when I needed something printed the same day. If they can make it happen, they will! Highly highly highly recommend.

Joseph Majchrzak: Dara Manoach brought Gnomon Copy a very poor quality digital file from which she requested that we print her 100 bat mitzvah programs. Upon printing a proof, Ms. Manoach inspected and approved the proof. Later, her Rabbi also reviewed and approved the proof. Both happy and satisfied with the quality and page content of the proof, she instructed us to run the full job. A week later, after using the programs at her event, she returned to the store, WITHOUT the programs, claiming that she was NOW not satisfied with the quality and DEMANDED a full refund. When our manager politely explained that once a proof is approved, the customer then accepts full responsibility for the job. Realizing that she wasn't getting her way, she then bullied our manager by threatening to give us a bad review on social media unless she got her refund. Despite this intimidation, our manager again politely refused her demand. Therefore, the only individual obviously not accepting accountability in this transaction was Ms. Manoach, who clearly admits that she failed to see any of the alleged errors in the proof, but now insists on blaming somebody else for her mistake.

Dara M: Don’t use this Gnomon copy if you need something to be done accurately and don’t have a lot of time to go back and forth with multiple corrections and don’t expect accountability on the part of the management. They made a major error in printing a program, repeating a page of text and omitting another page, which I unfortunately neglected to catch in the proof. I was not happy with the quality of the printing either, but there were so many issues that I didn’t have time to fix all of them before the deadline. It was a poor quality job and when I spoke with the manager, he did not take responsibility for the error in the transfer of the text or the poor legibility of the print.

Tina Lieu: Reasonable prices, excellent and prompt sending of quotes and printing and lamination services. They've done spiral bound booklets or lamination of cards which they cut out, too. Good stuff quality lamination.

Veronica Santana: After having awful experiences at Gnomon and UPS, I have been so happy and grateful for Flash Print. Yes, they are speedy and the quality is great (like real speedy, made me postcards in under a day and they're beautiful), but most importantly they are respectful and kind when I have questions. If you upload something online they will check in by email on whether you want to go check out a proof or just print it. The emails are short and direct but don't mistake this for curtness or being rude. They are just trying to get folks their prints in a timely way while also offering the option to check out the proof.

Lourdes Vivanco: Am leaving this star because while I agree with the rest of the reviews, they are efficient, friendly, and reasonably price their printing services, their shipping services are outrageously high. $25 to ship a small (and I mean small) course pack from Cambridge MA to NY!! I pay more for shipping than the actual course pack itself. I hope they consider offering multiple affordable shipping options and not just rip people off for their money.

D Cormier: Staples returned an unopened heavy duty Scotch mailing tape that sold for $3.95 for $0.46 -- that is 88% less than I paid for it. I no longer had the receipt but the register showed the selling price and the return price. The manager said their store no longer sold that particular style. I did not recall which Staples I bought it at. I just had too many rolls of mailing tape, and they were cluttering my shelf, so I wanted to returned one. I returned one other small thing which was unsatisfactory. It is only because I glanced at the return receipt that I caught this rediculous policy. As a large corporation, they should return all unopened things at the price they are sold at in any of their stores. I would not have had a problem getting a store credit, since I shop there regularly.

nia: Went to a staples with my friends cause I wanted to look for a monitor and some art supplies. Was there for about two minutes when a worker came out to us and kicked us out for no reason. We were just looking. Another group of people were there and nobody went up to them. I’m not trying to overthink anything but a group of POC walk in and get kicked out but the other group of people who were white didn’t. Very interesting and I would love to know the reason for it.
