Living Harmony, LLC: what do users think?
C G: Do not hire. The contract is non-refundable regardless of circumstances or how far ahead you cancel the remaining visits. “Energetic” yes in that your items will be randomly and rapidly stuffed away and consequently misshapen and broken. The talking points go on longer than the organizing. A couple things she handled have gone missing.Additional information post Living Harmony’s response as seen below:Erika left me a voicemail after I posted this negative review threatening me to take the review down and if I did not I would “regret it” and that she would give me “until Tuesday” to do so. I saved the voicemail and will hold onto it for safety.
Amy Copperman: Erika is down to earth and efficient, and worked with me to set my goals and give me direction with a few major organizing projects. And she helped me establish systems in my house I didn't know I needed! Also I appreciated that she had guidance for how to dispose of some strange things like a random stamp collection.
Stavros Macrakis: Erika is an energetic and efficient organizer. She doesn't shuffle (her word) your junk around to make it invisible, but rather pushes you to think about what you really want and why you want it. If you're saving something for the kids, she'll insist that you talk to the kids and make sure they actually want it. If you're saving something for a project, she'll force you to articulate what that project involves and reflect about whether you're ever going to find the time for it -- and if that's really what you want to do with your time. All this can be frustrating and exasperating sometimes, but that's what it takes. Someone's got to tell you that if something has been in the same box for 30 years, it's unlikely that you're ever going to do anything with it. Someone's got to remind you that even if your grandmother loved that porcelain figurine, you don't have to find a place for it in your house, and it may not even be worth much on eBay.Erika helped me declutter my house, and establish systems to run my daily life better. Very helpful.

SIFT Organizing LLC: what do users think?
Patrice Murphy: Marisa is a master of her craft: organizing, communication and service. I reached out to Marisa in August of 2022, 7 months pregnant (with my third) and feeling exhausted. I wanted my embarrassment of a basement organized before the baby arrived, my own attempts had failed over the course of several months (maybe an entire school year?). When Sift arrived, they were incredibly reassuring, kind and understanding. Marisa told me this is what she loves best- as I sheepishly looked at the mess of play doh and paper towels on the basement floor; she wasn’t kidding. Sift completed the most awful room in my basement in one work day! My husband and I were shocked! Since that, Sift Organizing have organized my bedroom, closets, completely overhauled my mudroom, two kitchens, designed and implemented a pots and pans pantry- and in addition to that we hired her to organize my Mother in Laws home. They got it move in ready for her in a very short time frame. Sift is trustworthy, professional and timely, we would recommend them as the best of Boston!
Amy Gustavsson: I cannot recommend Marisa and her team at Sift Organizing highly enough! I originally reached out to Marisa to help with our closet season transition but we wound up tackling all of the spaces including the basement storage area. I live in an old brownstone with limited closet space and the space that I do have is not very well laid out. Marisa and her team were so patient and kind, along with being extremely efficient. They helped with all aspects of the organization including sourcing all of the products and implementing them (Marisa does all of the legwork and then emails you prices and links to what she is thinking would work best). They installed new systems in our drawers to create additional space and also installed Elfa shelving. Katie picked up the product from the store and brought it to my house. Other items were shipped directly to my house. I am absolutely THRILLED with the job Marisa and her team have done and have recommended them to my friends and colleagues. If you are looking for a kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable team, you will them at SIFT! Don't hesitate and put off going through you storage unit as long as I did-I wish I found them sooner!
Rita Lewinter: Worked with Marissa on organizing our kitchen. She took my concerns and made many changes that we are still implementing. I would say she is easy to work with and takes your opinions into consideration when making changes. Would work with her on other projects in the future!
Rebecca Malladi: I hired Marisa to help organize for an estate sale and she went above and beyond. She helped me determine what should be donated/sold/trashed and was very considerate of my thought process, making a point to understand how I would have done it myself, and then making it happen! We had a water leak during one of her sessions and not only did she help sort through what was damaged, but immediately went into action by calling additional resources to help mitigate it. Jenny and Katie on her team were a joy to work with and I honestly couldn't have done any of this without all of them! Thank you Marisa!!!
Alex Karp: My wife and I are both neurodivergent and have been working with a team of 2 people from Sift over the past 6 months. In that time, they have helped us in every living space in our home, including our kitchen, basement, utility closet, bathrooms, and guest room. They have helped us with a variety of what have come to be known as “ADHD doom boxes.” Marisa and one of her assistants, Jenny, have been compassionate and efficient in their approach to each project and space. They have listened to our needs and responded creatively and flexibly to make our spaces work for us. Marisa’s custom design of our utility closet down to the quarter inch to Tetris in our vacuum cleaner is a work of art. Utilizing Sift’s services has made a significant positive impact on the functionality of our home and our quality of life. We will be Sift customers for years to come!
Julianna Allen: We started using the SIFT team last year and they have helped turn my kitchen from chaos to a beautifully functional place I enjoy cooking in. They have helped us redesign our entryway to have bins and hooks for shoes, keys, and coats so that everything has a place. Our closets were messy and disorganized and the SIFT team designed solutions for our closets that keep toys, linens, and clothes organized week after week with minimal upkeep. They also helped us edit what we keep in storage in the basement vs in our everyday spaces. The team goes above and beyond by taking unused items to be donated or recycled. They also helped set us up with new cleaners and went through the house with them so the cleaners knew where everything should go.I cannot recommend the SIFT team highly enough!
Ann Corkum: Marisa is such a wonderful resource and partner. She has helped me to organize many parts of my house and is always on time, professional, and extremely efficient with her time. She takes your lifestyle and needs into consideration (ex: kids, their ages etc) into her approach so that the end product is manageable and user friendly for actual humans. She has managed moves and coordinated painting crews… she’s amazing!
Stacey Sacks: I cannot recommend Marisa highly enough. She helped me declutter and organize our large basement after years of neglect. I was so overwhelmed I didn’t know where to start and Marisa came in and took charge in such a respectful way. After just 2 sessions I have a clean and organized basement and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait for my next project with Marisa.
Firenze G: Marisa and her team are awesome. She systematically and efficiently emptied my 4 bedroom house which after living there 33 years was a huge task! She guided me through every decision regarding what to keep to put into storage (I needed long term) and what to let go. Katie and Brian her assistants are super fast at packing, dismantling furniture, moving stuff about. She is such a pleasure to work with. She plans out every little detail of what needs to be done each day and sticks to it, incredibly organized. She manages and coordinates with the movers, charities, junk removal etc. I would highly recommend her for moving, downsizing, just clearing out your house etc. Expensive but seriously worth every penny. Couldn’t have done it without her! Would hire her again in a heartbeat.
Eliza Miller: Marissa is wonderful, not only does she come in and allow everything to be used to its full extent, she does it with such ease and allows you to be part of the process as much or as little as you want. She is so helpful and good at what she does, I would recommend her to anyone who needs some organization in their life. !!
Scott Lauder: Marisa has helped me move twice. the first downsizing from a large condo to a small apartment and the overflow to storage. The second time was out of the small apartment to a full size house in VT (from MA) but could not accommodate all my furniture in storage so there were multiple logistical considerations and several stops along the way to drop off furniture not to mention packing an apartment that hadn't had much, if any prep. Her calm, confident approach saved me from losing my mind and along with her mastery of Gentle Giant ensured everything arrived in one piece.
Nancy MacKenna-Rice: Marisa is wonderful to work with! She came in and organized our very small kitchen to one that seems bigger now! The kitchen is much more workable for me and organized! I love it! Marisa is easy to work with, smart, nonjudgmental and she listens! I will be calling her again to help with my next project...closets!!
Lindsay Hite: Working with Marisa and Beth on our first home organizing project was so much fun and so much less stressful than I imagined. Marisa has such great ideas, and really listened to our needs and tailored the solutions around us. My husband LOVES to cook, and he has an extensive array of ingredients. From rarely used to daily use. They helped us create a system that works FOR us I now view our basement as a helpful resource, instead of the dreaded pit of mess and dysfunction prior to working with SIFT. They helped us create a organized storage area so it's like going shopping in our own home when we need to go retrieve something. I look forward to having them back to work on more projects! Highly recommend.
Juli MacKenna: I have been working with Marisa for a few years now and the work she does is nothing short of magical. She has helped us organize our closets, basement, garage, and dining room. She is professional, non-judgmental, efficient, and talented. I am always impressed with how much less anxiety I have after a session with Marisa. If you need any help with organizing, this is your girl. She will not disappoint!
The Dooley's: Marissa & I have been working together for about 4 years. She has effortlessly kept my home organized & functional with ease year after year. What started out with just seasonal closet swaps has evolved into a complete organized overhaul of our personal items within storage units & our home. She has managed large stressful moves for us & created function out of chaos. We are so very grateful for her help in making our home a calming organized house where everything has a place & is easy to maintain in keeping it tidy.
AnnMarie Mahoney: I first heard about Marisa and Sift Organizing by a coworker who couldn’t say enough good things about her and her work.. This was about a year ago and even with Corona we have not skipped a beat by going Virtual with our organizing sessions. As a matter of fact she is walking me through the steps of task management and task management tools.I am getting more done than ever.Organizing was never my thing and when I met Marisa I was at a point in my life where I had tried to organize in every way you can imagine and failed. The first thing we worked on was organizing my 20 years plus of bins of paperwork and moved on to just about every room in my house including my downstairs workshop. Marisa not only is great at organizing but she studies your work habits, frequency of use, future use and current use to come up with a workflow to maintain the organization. She also has a great eye for design, especially functional design recommending the right products to buy to make it not only functional but pleasing to the eye.Marisa has helped make my life and my family’s less stressful and my home streamlined. And she is teaching me how to maintain it! I highly recommend her and her services. You will be amazed.
Michelle Weiner: Most recently I have taken advantage of Marisa's virtual sessions. Through a Zoom video call we were able to short through bins of clothes, clean out my entire closet, and set up a shoe storage system. My closet is now organized.  I look forward to getting dressed every morning, knowing exactly where I can find different items.  Marisa is a miracle worker. She is able to come up with creative solutions to transform any space. I've worked with her on organizing a basement, bedrooms, kitchen, office, family room, and entry way. Also, she's help me create systems for mail organization and to handle the mountain of paper that I used to accumulate. Regardless of the task or space that needs attention, she is thoughtful, kind, professional, and systematic in her approach to organization. I am always amazed with what she is able to accomplish in just 4 hours. She has brought a sense of calm, flow, and peace to my house that I didn't know was possible, but emerged once she was able to help me remove some clutter and create systems within my home. Love working with Marisa!
Melanie W: Marisa is an excellent organizer, knowledgeable and professional. She is now offering virtual sessions that are very helpful. We tackled a huge mound of paper clutter and reduced it to 3 manageable piles. She’s very focused and it keeps me focused.I’ve worked with many organizers and Marisa is the best of the best. She communicates extremely well, is clear and concise. Marisa is excellent at all aspects of organizing from clothes and closets to pantries and kitchen cupboards to office and paper management including digitizing to reduce paper clutter. She is creative, kind, non judgmental and supportive. I’m also relying on her for move management, which is such a relief for me due to her diligence, hard work and thoroughness.
Elizabeth Geisinger: Hiring Marisa was probably one of the best decisions I have made over the last year. Marisa is honest, creative, hardworking, reliable, she is a true professional. Marisa has transformed my house, and created systems that are realistic for me. I could not be happier!! I could not feel more confident recommending Marisa!
michael carew: What would we do without Marisa? She helped us organize our whole house including our basement, baby's room, bedrooms and our documents. Our house feels lighter after Marisa does her thing. We can't recommend her highly enough. If you need your house organized hire Marisa.

hab edit - Home & Life Organization: what do users think?
Courtney Massey: We worked virtually with Erin on several home organization projects, and her ideas and advise were exactly what we needed to get motivated and excited about organizing and redesigning areas of our home. She helped us with every step of the process--from sorting through what items to keep, to design ideas and product recommendations. Working with Erin was easy and fun, and we are so grateful to feel at peace in previously chaotic areas of our home.
Amy Piscopo: I didn't think it was possible to feel supported by my living space - but after working with Erin, I am reaping the benefits of a highly functional apartment that I truly enjoy. Strongly recommend!

Erin Does: what do users think?
Elena Papovsky: Erin did an outstanding job managing our wedding. She impressed us with clockwork operations, she had plenty of wonderful ideas and suggestions, and knew of all sorts of helpful people. The helper that Erin brought on our wedding day was incredibly useful. Pricing that Erin suggested was very fair! We really felt that Erin went above and beyond trying to make sure we have a successful event. We could not have had such an incredible wedding without Erin!
Eric Prommersberger: Erin was extremely helpful with us leading up to our wedding. She helped us figure things out that we never even considered. Day of was a breeze knowing she was there to direct everyone (including me) to where they needed to be. Highly recommend Erin for anything you need!
Lauren Colbert: Erin was the wedding coordinator for our daughter's wedding which was located at an unconventional venue where everything needed to be brought in. Erin was able to handle every detail leading up to the wedding day and, having worked with the caterer in the past, made it even better. The day of the wedding, we did not worry about a single detail. When we arrived at the venue, we were blown away at how she and the caterer had set up the tables, flowers and outdoor garden where the ceremony was held. Her attention to every detail is amazing and she is able to handle all our questions and concerns. We would not have had such a spectacular wedding for our daughter without Erin! Thank you so much!
Bree Oates: Erin is as good as it gets. If you are looking for DIY guru, look no further. She is wonderful at her craft. She's super organized, detail oriented and has a fun loving attitude. Whether your looking for event execution assistance or organizing at home or in your office - Erin is your girl!
Angela Trowbridge: Erin did a wonderful job coordinating our wedding and sorting out details leading up to the big day. Her pricing structure is very transparent and it was really helpful knowing that she was there to oversee all our vendors, and was intimately familiar with the flow, decor, and schedule of our wedding and everyone working the event. A few things came up, but I had no idea because Erin was there to solve the problems seamlessly and subtly. We are so grateful for Erin's help! From the tricky weather forecast to the multitude of vendors and bureaucratic hurdles, we cannot imagine it without Erin. Her work is both visible and sometimes "unseen" but it certainly didn't go unnoticed!
Veronica Soni: I hired Erin as our day of coordinator for our 2 day Indian fusion wedding extravaganza. I love planning and micro-managing (lol) and was doing all of the planning and decor on my own which is a lot for an Indian wedding. However, I needed someone to pull off my vision on the weekend which included 4 separate events. From the first day I met Erin at a wedding expo, I knew she would be the perfect person! All of our meetings were super organized and efficient. It's easy to get carried away when talking about ideas for your wedding, especially during the onsite meetings, but Erin was so great at directing conversation and managing time efficiently (This was great because we were paying her by the hour). I always walked away from our meetings and conversations feeling confident that Erin had it all under control. By the time the wedding weekend came, Erin knew the ins and outs of our wedding plan and was able to instruct the venue staff and all the vendors on site. She put up all of our decor and props- moving things in and out of a Uhaul we had rented to house all of our stuff! I also loved how Erin knew when to approach me with a question & when to make quick decisions without me. Needless to say, the wedding weekend went so smoothly! I cannot express enough how amazing Erin was throughout the whole wedding process!! One of the best decisions we made!!
Debra Loevy: Erin is fabulous. She is very organized and thought of all the details I hadn't. She had great instincts and suggestions, including lots of creative ways to approach things. Erin is also very kind and fun to work with -- I enjoyed her company and was so grateful for all her help. She manages to just get everything done seamlessly without ever getting ruffled . Her rates were very reasonable and worth every penny.
Abigail Hammett: and tight budget constraints. But the wedding came together better than we could have imagined, in large part due to Erin's tremendous organizational skills, sage advice and calm under pressure. The two areas where I think Erin most excelled were:1
ojus patil: We started our planning process thinking that a day of coordinator was unnecessary. Our wedding was 75 people and we were very organized. But all our married friends told us we were wrong and needed one. Now, we understand and are so happy to have hired Erin. Our wedding was super DIY and everything would not have come together so wonderfully without her. Erin juggled countless roles working 11.5 hours the day of the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly. She set-up our entire ceremony and reception space. For example, we handed her a pile of glass bottles and grocery stores flowers along with a rough sketch of what we wanted, and she turned that into these stunning centerpieces. She also coordinated with our various vendors throughout the day -- making sure they arrived on time and had everything they needed. During the wedding itself, Erin was toiling away behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. She queued our ceremony music, directed guests during dinner, coordinated clean-up, and so much more.Erin has a great work process for making sure she has all the detail she needs the day of the wedding. All of that planning and organization enabled us to relax and just enjoy our wedding day knowing she had it handled. We wanted someone who would come in to execute our detailed vision, and Erin did that beautifully. However she’s also able to help brainstorm and help organize the planning process if that’s what you need.Hiring Erin was easily one of the best decisions we made and worth what we spent a million time over.
Deborah Bass: Erin was my wedding coordinator and she was fabulous. During the weeks before the wedding, she was always very responsive and reassuring. On the big day, she was a force of nature- overseeing all the setup, wrangling the venue, the other vendors, and a small army of relatives, fixing and preventing a dozen little disasters. Erin has a remarkable gift for both advance planning and on-the-fly problem solving, and my wedding required both. From redoing the whole floorplan to fixing a cupcake stand DIY disaster, Erin handled it all. I had a wonderful, virtually stress-free wedding day because of her skills.
R Berteau: When I moved into my new place I left behind a basement storage unit and I was completely at a loss for how to fit everything that I once had in storage into my new room. I contacted Erin in sheer panicked desperation because my Aunt was coming over I wanted her to see my place and see the room of a young adult and not a tornado. I had called two other people, seemed like they could help one lady even said to have an honest talk with my aunt about the mess and to hide as much as I could. So after having spoken to that "professional" about the problem I had low expectations for what could be accomplished. But let me tell you Erin is a freaking miracle worker. The mess was just straight up gone in two hours. She did what two other organizers said couldn't be done and was totally chill with me hiding the fact that I needed professional help from my flatmates pretending to be "Mandy's older sister." She was SO helpful. And SO nice honestly I hate cleaning but we were just chatting the whole time which made it a bearable activity. I've already contacted her about helping me with my next move. She's a gem and I'm glad I found her.
