Katie Mc: Repairmen came quickly and were able to diagnose problem with dishwasher right away.
cherie smith: The gentleman new right away what was wrong with my washer. Then he proceeded to fix it. He was an excellent worker.
Priscilla Panos: Best place ever, called and spoke with Lenny my dads fridge died it was an 40 year old Hotpoint. Can you get me a new fridge today mind you it’s about 90 and humid. Within an hour three men show up with fridge install and remove old. These three guys were so professional and nice , just had to share they are what customer service is all about.Thank your all
Michelle Mcglashing: MARK AND PHIL JUST LEFT. THEY WERE ON TIME, FAST AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I DEFINATY RECOMMEND THEM.
Molly Ruggles: Lenny is a very nice guy, and true to his word. When they installed my new stove, they did some damage to my back door. It took a little while and few phone calls to Lenny to get the carpenters to come in, but they did come and repaired it very nicely, and also I really like my new stove.
Hyun Sul: You can trust Lenny.
Keltic34 1ThoughtYouKnuskii!!1: Friendly.
Nick Huber: The owner Lenny is a great guy.

Boston Appliance: what do users think?
Heather Fink: We ordered our Blue Star Oven in July and they never ordered it. Upon calling Blue Star and Boston Appliance multiple times, it turns out there is a hold on the Boston Appliance Account because they haven't paid some outstanding bills. They charged us the full cost of the oven rather than the half upfront that was written in the contract and it took a long time to and a lot of hassle to get the $6,700 back. When we were checking up on wether it was sorted out, they wouldnt answer our calls and give us any straight answer on what the current status is. We tried asking for a refund multiple times and it wasn't until we called our credit card company to dispute the charge that they finally started taking our call and processed our refund. They also in the end did pay for a plumber to install and uninstall our loaner stove until the over we purchased from a more reputable supplier fulfilled our order. After all of this, I feel like it was the least they can do, but knowing what I went through I can't in good conscience recommend them to anyone else knowing how stressful it was to get what we needed (and that we had to order elsewhere). We still have to have our original plumber come back and now adjust our sheet rock and our pipes because it was fitted for the loaner stove. Save yourself the hassle.
Boston Gaming: Don’t go by there positive reviews they must all be paid reviews. I inquired about purchasing a cooktop with a 6 month back and fourth with the so called manager who doesn’t return phone calls I gave up zero customer service especially from the management!!!!stay away so you don’t waste your time
Ilya Okunev: Boston Appliance has committed fraud against us. We have paid for a blue star range 6 months ago. We have still not received it. And we learned that there is a hold for nonpayment. The owner won’t take our calls, won’t talk to us. We are out $6k and can’t get a straight answer. I would highly recommend you stay away from this pathetic excuse for a company. Go to a professional company like Yale appliances.
Jasmine Arias: Although the service department has been very friendly, they are extremely inconsistent and disorganized. Months will go by without hearing a response back after sending multiple follow up emails. You really have to hound the service department to get any response. My partner & I will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for appliance repairs.
Scott Johnson: Looked around to find a good place to buy new appliances for our kitchen reno and "almost" didn't find Boston Appliance.Thank God I did. Great prices, extremely knowledgable staff and a great selection along with excellent customer service. Matt (Pickett) really went out of his way and held our appliances in storage when our project hit a delay and was incredibly helpful getting a crew to move them into place when things got back on track. Highly recommend to anyone looking to make a new purchase. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Matthew Rothenberg: Can’t recommend Boston appliance enough. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and I got a heck of a price. I thought I might have to go from store to store to redo by kitchen but Tim gave me everything I needed in one stop. If you’re in the market def go check them out ASAP!Update: 11/18/22:I went back to Boston Appliance and was super happy to see Tim still there. He helped us pick out a new washer and dryer. Went through all the options, asked us what was important to us, how we do laundry, etc and narrowed down the best choices for us. he also was able to tell me what's in stock now and what could be delivered quickly Vs what might take a few weeks. With a 4mo baby at home, we needed to replace these units ASAP so that was super helpful! The delivery team was at our house a few days later, set up everything up, tested the machines for us and we couldn't be happier with this purchase! We will continue to come back to Boston Appliance every time we need something they offer.
David Chess: I recently purchased a washer and dryer from Boston Appliance, thinking that the service experience would be more positive than at one of the big box stores. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. The sales agent was quick to process the transaction and deduct funds from my account; however, the delivery date was missed, and I received no notifications from the sales agent or shipping team as to why the machines weren’t delivered. Since then, communication with the sales agent has become completely inadequate. I am always the one initiating contact and have not once received a proactive update from the agent or anyone else at Boston Appliance regarding when my order will be fulfilled.Bottom line: great products, poor service, buy elsewhere.
Brandon Smith: I strongly recommend against buying an appliance from this company. Based on my experience, once they have your money you have to hassle them if anything goes wrong.I ordered an expensive new undercounter ice maker and paid for them to install. It was broken upon installation and leaked all over my floors. This was 2 weeks ago and it is still leaking, my salesperson won't return my phone calls, they won't provide a receipt, and every time I call they tell me to speak with my salesperson who appears to avoid me like the plague. I'm now forced to dispute the purchase with my credit card company as they delivered a defective machine that is ruining my floors.Strongly advise against buying anything from them! They appear disorganized and seemingly lack empathy and the willingness/ability to help their customers. I would go elsewhere and will myself going forward. Be warned.
Thomas Galvin: Great selection of appliances, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Deborah Cuzziere: I have purchased several appliances from Boston Appliance. Each time the process was professional and smooth. Their knowledgeable sales staff (most recently Matt Pickett) Provided all the information needed to choose the correct product. Best Customer Service ever. Exceptional buying experience.
Daniel Reid: Bought a dishwasher from them and had it installed. The price was good and everything went smoothly.
Philip Maher: Jerry saved my life today getting me a dishwasher when I needed it for the price that I needed it.
Thomas Outwater: Stay away from BA they are out to rip you off!! We had a what I thought was a broken ice maker and called them to fix it. The repair man came out took 2 minutes, hit the reset button, and diagnosed a broken ice maker that was going to cost $800 to replace. Luckily they are in no rush to actually fix anything and a month later we had a blackout. Guess what? My broken ice maker is making ice again! All it needed to be fixed was for the power to be turned off and back on again. Incompetent or fraudulent you decide.
jack silk: Chris the technician was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. Although I wasn’t happy that the stovetop wasn’t working, he made sure that he wasn’t going to leave until we had a favorable resolution. He called into his supervisor Jerry, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Very pleased with Boston Appliance customer service.
Jaci Stanley: Absolutely the best overall experience buying appliances. I’ve been a homeowner for 20 years and have never had a more reliable salesperson or enjoyable process. I am in love with the products we chose with their guidance, and in today’s world of limited supplies and delayed deliveries, Boston Appliance exceeded all expectations. I am now a loyal customer and would recommend them to anyone I know.
Larissa Putnam: Very pleased with Boston Appliance! I tried to buy a fridge from Home Depot and they never showed up on my delivery date and I'm still waiting for a refund 11 days later. My friend suggested that I use Boston Appliance and I couldn't be happier! Jerry, in the service department, helped me find an affordable refrigerator and it was delivered 6 days after I placed the order. Their delivery service confirmed with me 3 days in advance, notified me 20 minutes before arriving, showed up within the 3 hour window (!!!) and helped us remove the backdoor. Communication was on point across all stages and their client service was A+++. I would highly recommend this company.
Ikbal Lebbi: Andrew came to check for a leaking washer/ventless dryer. Andrew has great knowledge of the Bloomberg models. He identified the problem right away when I showed him a video of the leak and reconnected the dryer drain hose and tested the dryer. Andrew also was very nice and helped reinstall the dryer on top of the washer. He provided great service and a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend Andrew.
Gail Branchini: I needed repair on my dishwasher. Boston appliance sent Andrew. He was so through and so helpful. I am glad I choose Boston Appliance
Steve I: Chris has been very helpful acquiring my appliances. He has answered my emails and responded to phone calls in a timely manner. In this time of COVID-19, many appliance manufacturers are delaying delivery. Chris has been shipping appliances as they arrive at Boston Appliance.
Antonietta Coviello O'Toole: Company does not stand behind their product and warranties. When the products were sold to me they said that I would have a 5 year warranty. Now I am being told it was a courtesy warranty? Interesting never heard that and now I am being told that. Purchased 5 Jenn-air appliances 3 broke down in 2 years. Tech came out 4 times with no solution and constant misdiagnoses. Replaced a valve with my old valve admitted didn't have a new valve!! told me to higher a plumber and get the PSI water pressure. Which we knew was not the problem. Waste of money and time on my end. Tech called whirlpool for advice to fix cooktop CSR told him to go buy a pan and come back and tell me the pans are the problem not the cooktop. I heard with my own ears and tech confirmed. Reached out to owner for help never responded to any emails. Service department was has been rude unprofessional and caught in flat out lies from work done calls made...and they don't care. Final solution told me to call and deal with Jenn-air. Completely washed there hands from this issue. MY receipt clearly states 5 year warranty !!!!!Like I first said Company does not stand behind their product and warranties. When the products were sold to me I was told that I would have a 5 year warranty one of the reasons I bought them through you. Now I am being told it was a courtesy warranty? Interesting ...that simply means good luck.... . Tech came out 4 times with no solution and constant misdiagnoses wasting endless hours of mine and my husband while we are working. I don't have any more time to waste and I have kids and other schedules I am responsible for. Sitting at home watching your tech figure out their job isn't one of them.. in your last email you said the tech would have to re-diagnose!! I gave them many chances. Last week your dispatch claims I never booked app?? Another lie! Paul told me(May 25th) he would even come with Chuck to take care of the issues.. Thurs June3rd..I altered my schedule one again to accommodate. When I called to confirm they said I wasn't on the schedule. How many more chances do you need?? I have been unable to be reached? Hmm i can post all the emails and phone calls that have gone unanswered on your end not mine. This has been going on since last summer!!!!! Last visit(March 5th 2021) YOUR TECH Lied and Replaced a valve with my old valve admitted didn't have a new valve!! visit before that told me to hire a plumber and get the PSI water pressure. Which we knew was not the problem. Waste of money and time on my end. Tech called whirlpool for advice to fix the cooktop CSR told him to go buy a pan and come back and tell me the pans are the problem, not the cooktop. I heard with my own ears and tech confirmed. Reached out to owner for help never responded to any emails. I wanted to just solve this and move on... through all this the Service department has been rude, unprofessional and caught in flat out lies from work done and supposing calls made.. you don't care. Final solution told me to call and deal with Jenn-air. Completely washed there hands from this issue. You have customers from all over you should tell them if they are to far it will be in issue and not purchase from you since you cant service!! that is not my problem. I paid for these products and service. You can refund me the money so I can go buy another. I have been without a fridge ICE MAKER AND THE ENTIRE FRIDGE for 6 months!!! And a cooktop that is temperamental since the end of Aril.
Heather Loizides: My experience with Boston appliance was nothing short of great!I was in a jam and had already exceeded my warranty, but they were still willing to work with me. Both the sales rep and the parts personnel were extremely professional. I highly recommend!!

Yale Appliance: what do users think?
Michael Meys: Terrific experience. Technician was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had the replacement part in his truck and made sure that the repair was effective. Another positive Yale interaction.
Joanne Blatte: Nilton took the time to explain the best way to use our appliances and show us what was wrong (or could possibly go wrong). Very helpful
Mike Plum: An extremely positive experience. From the great sales knowledge from Eddie to the professional and careful delivery and installation, I cannot say enough about Yale Appliance. Thank you!
Charlotte Miller: Exceptional customer service - from problem solving to delivery the Yale Appliance team went above and beyond.
Vero Hall: This is among the best service we ever received from a business! 5 stars from A to Z. Good to know: you need an appointment before you go to the showroom. They are booked and won’t be able to serve you quickly if you don’t have an appointment. They have a great business model: a) they service what they sell, b) they discontinue products that need to be serviced a lot; so you know that if they carry a product they stand behind it, c) they sell insurance for the products they carry so if you need it serviced over the next 5 years, you are covered, d) they offer discounts for bundles and for items that are in working condition but were returned for whatever reason. We bought a Bosch induction range and hood, and the entire process was pain free. The range arrived defective and they sent someone over to assess and replaced it without any issues. I really doubt that such a service is available in many places. Only the trouble of carrying that big appliance in and out, etc. To us, the additional $ we paid for our appliances at Yale (e.g., they do Not offer free shipping) was well worth the price. Also, fun fact: the CEO makes these well produced educational videos that I love (e.g., Bosch vs Miele washing machine), check him out on YouTube :). In short: we’ll use them again and again.
MVP: Great customer care from beginning to end. Great Sales Representatives who are knowledgeable of the products, act as trusted advisors, are reliable, and very professional. Installation team was on time, swift, and kept my premises clean throughout the installation process. They took the time to test the appliances they installed, walked me through main functionalities and provided useful tips. Eddie and the rest of the delivery & installation team were friendly and very professional. This is my second time purchasing home appliances from Yale and am now a loyal customer! Fantastic team, great product quality, but above all - exceptional customer care!
Plum Kennard: Yale Appliance will do whatever it takes to solve the problem!I'm very impressed by how much they genuinely care about their customers. Ask for Jaylon, one of their service team members. And, no, I'm not his mom, but his mom can be proud! He's prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, patient & kind.Thank you, Yale!
Antonette Smith: We have purchased many appliances at Yale and they NEVER disappoint. The customer service is amazing. The salespeople are so knowledgeable. I highly recommend!! Dorian was the delivery person and was so happy to help!!
Robert Lieberman: Yale was great and their service department was even better.
Daniel Auger: Dave came out to service our Wolf range yesterday. Truly professional, knowledgable, and courteous. Took care of my concerns thoroughly and explained some issues that I had with the temperature of the oven and cleaning the burners. Love Yale and their service people are excellent! We are very happy customers!
Susan Cassidy: I had put off purchasing a new range for far too long (thank you, pandemic) and had a lot of questions -- the Yale Appliance chat feature was incredibly helpful and Brittany answered everything I asked. She even had me send her photos of our existing range, and confirmed that the new one would fit. I did *all* my selections online. Brittany was very communicative every step of the way, and made sure I understood the whole process. The post-sales follow up to schedule the installation was terrific as well. AND, I love the new range!
Tom Austin: Great service! We were out of town for a while and, when we got back to our condo, we were confronted with a flood from a broken dishwasher...so off we went to Yale for a replacement. Their service was great. Their installers fastidious and the experience great. I would have rated them 5 stars except I was disappointed to learn how they sold us the least-featureful Miele dishwasher sold in the States. It has a great reliability rating (from Wirecutter and Consumers) but it's really barren of features.
Chip Poli: Milton the technician was great .. once problem was fixed he explained in detail what items I was responsible to do weekly, Monthly etc.. on all appliances..
Janice Melvin: We had the nicest men deliver our appliances. They were so professional and took so much care into bring them into the house. I certainly will buy from Yale in the future.
Matt Ingeno: Quality products, with professional delivery. Definitely recommend.
Gianfranco Zaccai: Professional, on time, and polite. Great service!
Jess Mason: Excellent showroom, sales, scheduling, communication, and service for both a fridge and a dishwasher. I can’t recommend Yale Appliance highly enough.
Aimee Whitlock: guy was very nice patient and informative. He did a good job and cleaned up after.
Patricia Hoversten: Wonderful selection, knowledgable sales team and great delivery crew. Great experience from start to finish.
Doug Cahill: Disappointing experience with purchasing a new high end dishwasher with Yale's paid installation.First, the installers damaged the new appliance during installation. The damages were minor and cosmetic but still annoying for a new unit. They did acknowledge this and made a report.Second, the new unit on the day of install reported it wasn't getting water and wasn't working so the installers did zero troubleshooting and told me to contact tech support. I had to call them back a few times to figure out a time to have someone come out to look at the issue. Turns out the water line was clogged when the hose was swapped for the new dishwasher and the valve was turned off leaving debris inside the hose.Third, I had to wait three weeks to get a tech support out to replace the damaged parts. I communicated with them on the phone to order them but they never did. The tech came out with no parts, stayed for about 30min while putting in the orders for a new top plate and new front door due to installer damages.Fourth, new appoint two weeks after to install the new parts was a no-show. They called me at the end of the day to tell me they ran out of time. They tried to reschedule for another month later but I had to press them on this so they moved it down to a week.Fifth, next appointment the tech didn't make it during their 2-hour window that they set for me. I had to call again and ask what's happening and why the tech didn't show again. They made the tech come late into the afternoon (5:30PM) to complete the repair. The tech person was great and super nice but sucked they had to work late due to bad management and/or understaffing issue.Overall it took about 2 months to get my issues fixed. Thankfully it was just cosmetic but really not a great experience.
Bob Taube: Easy place to deal with. Good selection of products, capable staff and and exceptional delivery crews.

Tri-City Sales: what do users think?
Donna: We had a great experience with Tri-City Sales in Salem during our kitchen renovation. We needed a stove, dishwasher and overhead microwave, which Julie Kramer helped us with. Julie was so very helpful and very knowledgeable and always there for us when we had questions. When we received our stove, the door was scratched. I called Julie and she responded very quickly and arranged for a service call.Julie also helped us select a mini fridge while we underwent our kitchen renovation. She spent the time looking for one that would work for us.Barbara from the service department was great to deal with. She was also very responsive and helpful. The service technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. Caesar came to replace our door and while he was here, he happily answered all our questions we had about our new appliances. It is a pleasure to have a company be so welcoming and available to their customers even after the sale.
Ivan Pina: 🙏🏿
Geno Desaulniers: This is where we buy our appliances stoves dishwasher laundry all of them
Rachele V (Chely): The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful and prices are super reasonable. Don't waste your time trying to chase down an employee at home Depot that won't know anything about the product anyway; you won't regret making the switch! We bought our entire kitchen of appliances here and we couldn't be happier. The delivery and installation was top notch as well!
Robert Logan: The floor staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The process of buying new appliances was fast and easy. My wife and I really appreciated this because we had our sleeping baby with us. We got in and out without her waking up. Finally, the prices were excellent. In fact, they were so good I would come back just because of their prices and huge selection.
Ellen S.: Very helpful people. Not pushy at all.
Rick Bingham: New dishwasher delivered quickly, installed well and priced correctly. What more could you want from an appliance store?
Debra Ball: A special thank you to Julie and the delivery crew at Tri City Sales. It's been a long wait but our new replacement wall ovens are installed and Harry did a great job getting them up and running! Can't thank Tri City for helping us through this process. Julie knows her business! Purchased a lot of appliances over many years and this project went flawlessly. Many thanks!
Bobby Conlon: Julie and Judy are the dynamic duo that helped my family and I purchase a stove this morning. The salesperson helped answer all of our questions from beginning to end and set us up with delivery and removal.
William Reilly: Very efficient operation. I called for an AC on a very hot day, they called the next day to arrange installation. I was pleased.
walter lyons: Recently purchased a refrigerator from TriCity with help from associate Julie Kramer. Julie was informative, knowledgeable, and personable. She was helpful in every part of the process from selection of the refrigerator to scheduling the delivery. I will happily return to TriCity for future purchases.
David Lumsden: Julie Kramer was very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all our questions about induction ranges, convection ovens, and Air Fryers. All the latest models were available in their showroom. My wife and I were very pleased and highly recommend Tri-City Sales.
Kevin Levesque: A bit of running around, but overall a good experience.
Kate Dollin: The product is great! It was delivered quickly. The delivery men were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. I have no complaints!
Jack ass Wabbit: Got a stack washer and dryer, great customer service
Beth O: I've been shopping here my entire life and I've never had a bad experience, from appliances to air conditioners. The reps are knowledgeable and helpful. They make it easy to 'keep it local'.
Susan Solomon: Excellent service and and experience.
Colleen Kennedy: Julie and her team are exceptional! Julie got us the exact fridge we were looking for & we were in and out in a flash. The delivery team was amazing. They were earlier than the delivery window. They were efficient and nice and cleaned up after themselves. They really took their time to make sure everything was perfect. I wish I could have them for every delivery I’ll ever need.I’ll never go anywhere else for an appliance.
Linda Arcese: Julie is the BEST ! The team for delivery, installation also great !In less than 24 hours I was good to go !Soooo happy ! Thank you !
Anthony Piccione: Mike was thoughtful and a real expert. Thank you!
Jamie Lampert: Bought a new KitchenAid range. Julie was amazing. Best on the north shore. Highly recommend.

Arlington Appliance Inc.: what do users think?
Anna Papantonakis: Fantastic service. Honest and fair pricing
Anshul Kumar: I called asking for a dishwasher part. It turns out they don't sell individual dishwasher parts. However, the person I spoke with was very generous with his time on the phone to hear about the problem and make a recommendation about what to do next.
Charlotte Pierce: These guys are prompt, honest, and even educate you about your own appliances.

AAA Appliances: what do users think?
M. G.: We went with them because they are local and bought a stove for over a thousand dollars. That was two weeks ago. We still haven't received our stove. They have hanged up on us twice. Stay away. Go to the big stores. Stay away from them
Eileen Stewart: This is my third time purchasing appliances through AAA in Jamaica Plain. I am a repeat customer because not only do they give me a great price, (and will price match other competitors) their customer service is great! They are very knowledgeable about appliances and I was able to get exactly what I needed..they also provide a delivery service, which worked out great for me. They were not only accommodating and courteous, but they were there when they said they would be.
Willow Osgood: We are very disappointed with our experience with AAA Appliances.1.) AAA said a dryer was in stock and scheduled delivery in a week. Canceled the morning of delivery, dryer wouldn't be in stock for a month.2.) Upsold higher priced dryer that is in stock.3.) Installed higher priced dryer. Did not come with tools to change direction of dryer door.4.) They are now charging for a second visit to change the direction of the door.We try to support local, independent businesses but this is a racket, not a business.
Boston Rogg: I purchased yet another appliancee at AAA in Jamaica Plain. I shopped around for a French Door refrigerator that several competators were selling at the same price. When I called AAA Appliance they had the lowest price by several hundred dollars. This refrigerator was delivered within 4 days by the most professional delivery team I have seen in years. The store team is the best there is. My entire home has come from AAA over the years. I highly recommend them for your next appliance.
Frank Vila: Be careful with this store. Salesperson lies and change prices after making a sale. I purchased a stove at 12pm and when I went to pick up at 3pm salesperson made excuses and did not want to sell the stove anymore. He mentioned that he provided me the wrong item and that it was mislabed, etc. This store is a scam - becareful.
John G (John G): Rating should be 0 star. I tried AAA for a second time (they're zero for two) because they had the electric dryer we wanted in stock. I called on a Friday night a few minutes before they closed. the person said they had the dryer in stock and to go there the next morning. the next morning, i went there when they opened only to find the doors locked. I called and a person was inside but told me they could not help me and to go home and telephone in the order. clearly they didn't want my business. I was right outside! Needless to say, I went to Jarvis in Wellesley and they sold me an upgraded dryer with a good discount. The first time I went to AAA was another horror show. We purchased a wall oven (pre-pandemic). I had to call numerous times on the status of the order. When the oven was installed, the installer demanded cash for the install because he said if he didn't get cash, he would not get paid. it was suspicious then and I should've never tried to go back. Never use them! If you like to use a family-run store, go to Poirier or Jarvis.
Old Colony Masons: Go anywhere but AAA Appliance.Salesmen blatantly lie. The owner I'm told is out of the country for an entire month. They can't issue a credit card refund because the accountant is not available either. No returned calls. Joke of a business.
Glittery Bees: This place used to be a great neighborhood store, but the pandemic and supply chain issues have caused this place to become borderline suspicious. I paid for a dishwasher in June 2021. I had to call constantly for updates. Finally, I changed to a different dishwasher, which was delivered to their store in Dec 2021. They never called me. I canceled my order in January 2022. When I asked for my money back, they gave me the run around. I continue to call them for the remainder of the payment I made. In short, DO NOT use AAA Appliances. Go to Yale as they are also local and are much more trustworthy.
francie hauck: I have bought appliances from this company years ago.. I switched to the big box stores in hopes of better pricing.... Since Corvid shortages , I couldn't get an American made fridge without out a huge wait and fewer choices.I called Dean, he ordered and delivered my new GE refrigerator in 10 days.AAA PRICE MATCHED OTHER RETAILERS! - add to that, superb service & delivery was on time and they called to make sure we were ready.I'm back to using this great small companyFrancie Hauck
Amir Radmand: Smooth easy exchange. No issues
inezhedges: "Family run" in this case means that as a customer you are treated like family. We got a dishwasher that didn't run, instead of waiting for the manufacturer to fix it, AAA replaced it with a new one free of charge. They were so sympathetic to our situation! The manufacturer wanted us to wait over a month for a repair! I buy all my appliances from them.
Dean Doucet: The showroom was not open so I was able to purchase on the phone with the help of a very nice salesman. He directed me to a front load washer and dryer which I purchased. Delivery is next week and they will deliver and stack the units. They also remove the old appliances.
Princess Annette: June 2016 I purchased a freezer and a portable dishwasher. The dishwasher was on back order. I was told by the guy that checked me out , if I paid for the dishwasher with the freezer I would only pay one delivery fee. 4 months later I inquired about my portable dishwasher. O now have to take them to court.. Inquired they tell me to call one person or another.
Timothy Gosier: Great service - they go above and beyond.
Michael Small: The owner of this store is racist and rude
Lew White Appliance: High praise for Dean and his team at AAA Appliances. He listened to our needs, helped us make the right decisions and then had our purchases delivered and installed on time and with the due respect needed in these times to our home and family. Fantastic experience.
Steve Wisner: A Nightmare ExperienceI chose to purchase a new free range oven from AAA Appliances in Jamaica Plain because I thought this would be the most convenient option (I later learned this was a huge mistake). I understood that I could have gotten a better price elsewhere, but was sold on the idea that AAA Appliances would handle the scheduling of the delivery and the installation of the oven. I was even promised by the AAA Appliance’s sales representative that I could be the first delivery of the day (9:00am) three days after I made the purchase. It sounded too good to be true, because it was too good to be true.On the scheduled delivery date, I took the day off from from work, but the installer never showed at 9am. I waited until 11:00am and then called AAA Appliances to see the status of the 9am delivery. Rather than offering to help get the status of the delivery, the AAA Appliance representative gave me the phone number of the installer and insisted I do the work of trying to locate him. I called the installer and left a message, but he never called me back. Thirty minutes later, I called AAA Appliances again and the person who answered the phone was rude and demanded to know, “Did you try to call him?” After I stated that I left a message, he agreed to try to called the installer. At 12:30pm, I finally got a call back from the installer, who said that he didn’t have any help and would be unable to deliver the oven. The delivery was rescheduled a week later. On the 2nd (failed) delivery attempt and my second day off from work, I woke up to a text message from the installer stating that he was having car problems and would try to deliver later in the day. I walked to AAA Appliances to ask the delivery status. They were confused by the entire situation and had thought that the delivery was already made a week earlier (I don’t understand how they could not have known that the oven was never delivered). When in the store, I was disappointed to hear AAA Appliances admit that they had problems with the installer in the past, to which I questioned why they were continuing to contract out work to an installer who has a history of being unreliable. At the 3rd attempt, the oven was delivered and installed and the installation fee was lowered from $250 to $200 to account for me being stood up on two different occasions. There were no issues with the installation, but a few days later I was walking on my street and noticed that the covers to my old oven were left on my neighbor’s property. I visited AAA Appliances to discuss my overall experience and was disappointed by their response. First, the AAA Appliances representative excused the installer missing two scheduled delivery dates by pointing out that “He did a good job with the installation,” as if this made it ok that he did not show up on two previous occasions. I explained that I would have paid double for the oven to be delivered on the original date so that I would not have had to miss a second day of work. Most disappointing, is that AAA Appliance did not take any responsibility for the nightmare experience. In fact, the sales representative even shifted some of the blame on me by pointing out the ridiculous detail that I had paid the installer directly and that because the work was contracted out, the store was not responsible for what happens with delivery and installation. This claim ignores the fact that AAA Appliance had chosen the installer for me and AAA was responsible for all aspects of coordinating the delivery and installation. Then, as if to justify my horrible experience, he offered to refund $30 from a burner cover that I had purchased separately. I was insulted by this offer and told AAA Appliances to keep the money. My experience proves that after an order is made with AAA Appliances, it is up to the customer to deal with any problems involving delivery and installation. Had I known this was the company’s position, I would have saved a lot of money by purchasing the oven elsewhere and I would have hired someone to install it.
Kent Harnois: I came for a gas dryer and got an argument. I will gladly get my dryer someplace else. We have been purchasing our appliances here for 35 years. It has been inconvenient and while the big box stores are always offering extremely convenient pricing deals, one year no interest, etc, I’ve preferred to buy at a store where the sales people will be there tomorrow. Shop small shop local. And their repair service has always been good.We came in on Saturday at 1:00. Not another customer in the store. After a while, a long while, a salesman came over and asked what we were looking for. Gas dryer. He asked if we currently had a front load washer. Our current washer is over ten years old, it is in our basement. I couldn’t imagine why it mattered. Do some gas dryers work better with clothes that have been washed in front load washers than top load washers? That would be interesting. He explained that they looked different. I told him I really didn’t care about how they looked, sparing him the detail that we fully expect the washer we have to give out at any moment so we would probably soon be in the market for that as well. Given that the current dryer is not working at all we wanted to just address that today. The salesman pointed to a couple of dryers and rattled off prices. He mis started the price and corrected himself then said this was the electric price. Did we have gas or electric? Gas would be either $40 more or $100 more. My wife stepped in. Maybe he would respond better to her. What is the difference? “Different price ranges.” Was the reply. Nothing more. She tried again, “ls this one more efficient?” He pointed out that one clearly had an energy star rating and the cheaper one did not. I asked, as a practical matter, what would that mean to me? How much would I save over the year. “It is a federal government program. Take it up with the federal government,” he sneered. That was enough. Next stop Lowe’s. The salesman did not look at all disappointed that we were leaving.
