Sadira Persaud: A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I came to this location (we usually go to the Salem location but were in the city). At the Salem location, I have ordered the Romantic wrap without broccoli, and the staff there have never had an issue with this. We get to the counter to order, and I ask for a Romantic wrap without broccoli. The male employee takes it upon himself to tell me he has an “issue” with that. Seriously. He goes on to tell me that without the broccoli, the romantic wrap would not really be a “wrap.” He tells me I can get a quesadilla instead of I want. As someone who is not confrontational, I feel bullied and just order the wrap with broccoli. Fast forward to my boyfriend and I getting our food at our table- this wrap is basically 95% broccoli. I use a fork to pick some broccoli out of the wrap, and this same male employee is essentially hovering around the area of our table. Never have I ever felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant setting.As someone who has worked in retail for close to a decade, I get the stressors and difficulties of working in the service industry. However, I am a customer, and I deserve to get what I order regardless of others’ opinions, and I definitely deserve not to feel so uncomfortable while trying to have a meal.Also, this worker had the audacity to approach me when my boyfriend and I were leaving the restaurant to tell me he hoped I enjoyed my stay- I’m sorry, what?!I should add, however, that all other employees at this location were lovely.
Gio Mgaloblishvili: The food is not very good, seems like they got the vegetables from a can and put them in the microwave with store bought sauce. I got teriyaki tofu bowl and it was super high in sugar and processed ingredients, tofu was not seasoned it just had teriyaki sauce poured on.

Allison Hughes: Best restaurant in the world. And THIS location is THE BEST one in Cambridge. (The Lowell location is the best overall but central square location is a close second). Highly recommend!
Zachary Chaves: This place lost a lot of its warm boho vibe through covid. Has a more modern feel now. But the price of food is exceptional for this area. So I am glad to see its maintaining that level of access.I like eating outside and if its nice out someone may ask you for money. It happen to us. But in one way I kind of prefer this as it reminds me of Pushkar. Recommended as places like this are not to common in this area.Vegetarian options: knowledgable about veganism and can accomidate special diet requests

N Neil: This is a hard review to write because I feel like the food quality depends on who is working that day, and what time you go in.When it was good, it was so good, and I was super happy. I got a salad, a bowl, kombucha, some pressed drinks for later, a smoothie. It was amazing. I grabbed my meals for the day at one place, and the food was delicious. I came back two more times. The first two times I came by in the morning.The 3rd time was a different time of day, more busy around the lunch rush and different staff were working. The 3rd time the food was definitely not good, nor was my house made kombucha. I had liked the kombucha so much the second time I was there that I bought a entire bottle instead of just a cup.The 3rd time everything was off and did not taste as good. Only 1 of the salads tasted fine.I would recommend going in the morning and during off peak hours and you may have better luck. Because when it is good, it is great, but when it is not, you will end up seriously disappointed.
Sanjana Shetty: I have been to this Life Alice at least 5 times in just 2 weeks. The staff here are not bad. I always go there mostly for their turmeric latte. The spices in the latte always helps me clear my sore throat and of course it tastes amazing.

I really liked the tacos so I tried the harvest bowl. very mid, i felt like the flavors did not blend. i’ve made vegan mac & cheese before and it was not this bland. Tempeh was too salty.idk I think this place has to do a lot better to compete with the Sweetgreens down the road. Come for Mas Veggies tacos, pass on the bowls.

Robyn Boyland: We came near close and I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding that I was interested in ordering, but it did take several minutes for our order to be taken despite being the only ones in line. After a decent wait, we got our food. The Beyond burger's distinct taste was discernable, so I would've preferred the burger to have more flavor/seasoning to cover that taste up, but I suppose that's what I get for ordering the most basic burger on the menu. The fries were nice and crispy, pretty standard. You get a choice of ketchup or chipotle sauce on the side. I went with the chipotle, and it was rather runny, but made for a creamy, mildly flavored dip. Great place to go if you're vegan/vegetarian/plant-based, want to limit your meat consumption, or just want to try something new. Since we came near close, they threw in a cookie free of charge!Vegetarian options: All of it
Heavenly Child: I love Veggie Grill! Thank you for being an all-vegan restaurant. I've tried many items on the menu as well as your sister store Más Veggies Vegan Taqueria and they were all tasty. Thank you for being cost friendly as well! Especially for being in the Boston area.Will note some of my current favorites. Katsu sliders, BLT Avocado croissant, Nashville Hot Sliders, and the loaded burrito from Mas Veggies.Also, worth noting that the staff members are nice!

The boss or manager, Manuel, was super friendly and informative (as a new veganer 🌱), he even came around the very clean dining room and gave us samples of their buffalo chikn’… bombbbb ☺️The staff was super attentive too, I wanted to stay for dinner Will be back, and getting the app !

I thought vegan food was less dense in spices bc they’re so “limited” but OMG this place made me think otherwise. The manager or owner was a delight. Very amiable and informative. Oh yeah they also have weekly bogo specials! Complete gem for plant based eaters and vegans. They even came around giving samples of food Buffalo chick’n. Nothing was overly sweetened or overly seasoned, it was just right, totally coming back here again 💕🌱Their tofu inspired carrot cake was very yummy especially bc it was vegan. Tried the Beef on Weck today at lunch.The menu online: Beef on WeckHouse roasted beef, extra hot horseradish, real au jus on a kimmelweck bun (warm and thin, sliced to order). Served with coleslaw and dill pickle spear.My sandwich was terrible.Cons. The bun was stale. So stale that when I picked it up, most of the salt and caraway seeds fell off. There was no horseradish. There was no au jus, no coleslaw, no pickle per the menu. The beef was so over cooked and dry that after 3 bites I threw $14 worth of sandwich in the trash.Pros - They offer Beef on Weck. It was still warm.If your menu says what is in/on a sandwich, why not make that sandwich?

shoffing: Ordered delivery twice, a bit underwhelmed both times. Burgers were fine, Mac and cheese was OK too. Shoestring fries were delivered soggy in a paper bag. Cubano sandwich had too much meat. Tomato and mozzarella sandwich had thin bread that was just plain wet, soaked through by the aioli. For $15/sandwich you can find better elsewhere.

Octavio Vega: Absolutely terrible place. Not only is the food mediocre, but the staff are indescribably horrid. I visited this location on the evening of Thursday, October 13, 2022 with a few of my friends. A moody young woman with short hair served me at the cashier. She was disrespectful and clearly did not want to be working there. Shortly after, when it turned out that one of the items I ordered was not available, she became irate and began urging me to choose another item. This was difficult, because at the same time, one of the other workers was yelling my name, indicating that another part of my order was ready. I was trying to listen to both of them loudly calling for my attention from two directions at once, somehow unaware of one another. When I tried responding to the woman with my food, the cashier became angry and started yelling at me for not responding immediately. She also lambasted me for sipping my water while she was yelling, and held me responsible for being overwhelmed by two people yelling for me. The belligerent cashier also did not offer me any options to replace the unavailable item, so when I suggested a replacement, she became even more angry because they were different prices (as if I could have known that). Overall, terrible experience with terrible workers, and I could not possibly recommend this fiasco of an establishment any less.

Mainly had broccolis and chicken with lettuce, green goddess dressing, and hot sauce as a side. The taste was good, chicken was also good.BUT BUT BUT why the hell is the brown rice so heavily undercooked? Is it always like this or It was a bad batch? It was literally hurting my teeth. Duuh !!
Mirae Parker: I really like this sweetgreen, they always get my order ready quickly and the people who work there are always great! I will say (perhaps unsurprising) - if you don’t order during the lunch rush the food is ready faster and you also seem to get more of it?
