Gillian Culff: What a wonderful place! The museum was closed, but I had a great time on a beautiful, sunny spring day walking the grounds, enjoying the sculptures, grounds, and wooded trails. It's very thoughtfully laid out, with art on different levels of gardens, attractive, winding stone pathways and dirt trails, lawns, and gorgeous views everywhere you look--of art in the landscape, of a beautiful lake lined with trees, and the museum building itself.I do wish more of the sculptures were interactive. They all had signs telling you not to touch the art. I understand about preservation, but I'm sure the big metal sculptures would hold up just fine to touch, and some of them--the giant hearts, for instance--are so textured they beg to be touched. They are all outside exposed to the elements, after all, so how bad can human hands be on metal? One exception to the "no touching" rule was the interactive musical sculpture by Matisse--a kind of xylophone-type instrument made of metal tubing you could play with sticks. People were playing it, and it sounded lovely on the breeze.I went into the shop, which was a good size and had all manner of beautiful items. It would be a nice place to shop for a gift. The cafe had outdoor seating and a corn hole game, which was welcoming. All of the people I encountered--from the woman at the ticket gate to the two gals in the shop--were all very friendly. They have free admission for people on public aid, which I thought was great.I highly recommend the deCordova if you enjoy sculpture gardens.
Erin Caldwell: Really fun place! Only wish there was more touching and interaction for the kids - not all, but having some exhibits touchable would be good. Also, the current bathroom situation is rough (only one so very long lines).
twin peaks: On the day we visited the gardeners were using mowers and leaf blowers and then on the other side of the park there was construction going on with drilling and hammering. It wasn't a good environment to walk around an art park. The park should get this done on closed days.Leaving this aside and reviewing the art - there is a good variety of sculptures but they're mostly very small and do not make the most of the outside space available. The Yorkshire sculpture park in England is way better for example.

MIT List Visual Arts Center: what do users think?
COSTER SCOTT: Was enjoyed a Sung Tieu show at the List recently (Wednesday April 5th 2023), - it’s quite beautiful and moving. My thought was that the work didn’t elicit a feeling of isolation - the effect (mostly due to dark ambient music) was pensive, yes, but the space was also quite open. See pictures. The List desk lady told me dismissively that I didn’t understand the work (and couldn’t) because I wasn’t a refugee or seeking asylum. I’m not seeing a whole lot of people seeking asylum here, and quite certain nobody would “get” this work if it didn’t have an essay explaining it. The place is like that these days.
Amy Ouyang: I highly recommend visiting the MIT Arts Center! I enjoyed my time there and the staff were quite helpful!
Van Trieu: This is my third time came here. Lex Brown’s show is great. The staffs also very helpful and answered all my questions.
anulak phanekham: Really enjoyed my time here! Nice staff and great exhibits.
Sara McDevitt: MIT campus is a wonder! Amazing outdoor spaces, architecture, public art. Staff in the Visual Arts Center was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we were there during exhibition changeover but loved the video installation by Allison Nguyen. ❤️ MIT!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …More
Chris “Snellinstein85” Snell: Amazing art pieces
Kā'ai Fernandez: It's a fun and quick exhibit—they change the exhibit every couple of months, and the whole thing will take you about 10 to 30 minutes to get through. Good for a side stop on your day out, but as the main event.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
ggboom: Great!
Arthurious: While the building is massive & modern and the admission is free, there's barely anything to see inside with a few smaller rooms scattered through the corridor. The current exhibition "Symbionts: Contemporary Artists and the Biosphere" was not impressive
Annie Lee: 偶爾有展覽這次去是關於現代藝術的酷
Jun Zhuang: creative
John Ta: The space is really nice but This place is barely functioning. They call it bio art but all I see is sand on the ground and vomit on the windows. This place must be a money laundering or tax haven loophole cos I see nothing. Word around the campfire says it was funded by bill gates and Jeffrey Epstein. 2 stars cos it’s free.
Elisa Cortés: very nice space, is never crowded and everyone that works here is just beyond wonderful!

Juanita Nin: Un lugar vanguardista con edificios con identidad propia. Es un gran privilegio los que pueden estudiar ahí.un placer conocer lugares así.
Trey Color: It is a beautiful building but they had some very strange artifacts in the art gallery. The woman who let us in was very helpful in telling us about why they were in such a closed status (covid precautions good for them) and recommending things we should do.I want to go back but I surely would not visit the same gallery once again. I'm sure if I had to pay for it I would have been upset with the trip to the gallery. Maybe if I had read the description it would have been more clear, but I could not even be bothered to do that.

Cyrus Dallin Art Museum: what do users think?
Chester Liu: Wonderful little museum, free with suggested $5 donation. The volunteer gave us some great background on the artist then we spent about 45 minutes looking at the sculptures and paintings.Dallin is probably the most famous local sculptor that you've never heard of. I see his works everywhere but didn't know it was all him.
Chris Taylor: Wait time 30–60 min Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $1–5More
Kevin Blanton: Dallin is the most famous "local" artist you don't know the name of, who created the Paul Revere statue in the North End, the Appeal to the Great Spirit in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, and many more around the world. Interesting, fun, informative museum all on one level in an historic home.
J Geise: With his sculptures displayed around the world, quite indulging to visit a local and intimate aspect of Dallin.
Billy Stephen: It's a small museum, but very nice.
NCkilted: Historic house that has the collected prototypes and works of renounded artist Cyrus Dallin. His works include the Mormon Tabernacle angel in Salt Lake Utah and the Paul Revere statue at the Old North Church in Boston. Wonderful guided tour is available.

Sara: What a gem! We were fortunate to have a guided tour with a very knowledgeable man. Amazing that even the home itself has a history! Plan on spending at least an hour.
Keith Poland: It was great
Filippo Napoli: Great piece of history
cawag98: Arlington's museum to Sculptor Cyrus Dallin In the relocated Jefferson Cutter houseThe museum is only open limited hours and depends on volunteer support, but it's a great place to see Cyrus Dallin's works.
Hasan Khalil: Not much of a park but generally a great place to meet up for a ride down the minute man trail.
Dana Burns: I just discovered I am Sam's descendent.

Busch-Reisinger Museum: what do users think?
G S: Upon entry into Harvard Art Museums' Busch-Reisinger Museum, German/Austria venue, an original Wilhelm Lehmbruck sculpture (Head of a girl c. 1913/pink-tainted plaster) rests dignified. An absolute representation of his period works. Of note, (opinion) Mies van der Rohe's Krefeld Villas and Tugendhat Villa once prominently displayed his close friend Lehmbruck's (Torso/girl turning) which showcased MvdR's movement/assimilation towards modern architecture.Further into the venue are Bauhaus alumni displays: Laszlo Maholy-Nagy, Josef Albers, Marianne Brandt, Samovar, Wilhelm Wagenfeld, to name a few (largest collection of Bauhaus artifacts outside of Germany). Of note, this visit was precursor with a visit to the Walter Gropius residence, Lincoln MA. (Largest collection of Bauhaus furniture outside of Germany).Caveat: 22 mile distance between Gropius house and museum.Highly endorse
Benoit Bennetot: Intéressant, en complément du musée d'Harvard. Entrée gratuite.
Hector Caceres: Absolutely beautiful architecture by Renzo Piano. Worth a visit to experience the atrium. Come check it out!
vivian Liu: Such great , in love it. Most remarkable German Expressionism collection
