Cliff Winters: Ha, well it’s rare that one gets a chance to rate one’s own seminary; but since I’m visiting my alma mater this week, it seems a reasonable time to do it. 🙂GCTS is an amazing school. I got into my PhD program on the strength of only having an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell. What’s more, I did very well in my PhD studies because of the excellent grounding I received there. I’m a pastor as well, and operate comfortably in that role because of my school. And, really, I got so many lifelong friends from there, the fellowship may be the single strongest reason I’d recommend it. It’s a beautiful campus, with wonderful faculty, staff, and students. World-class. If you’re thinking of going to seminary—or even if you’re just looking for a nice place to stay a few days—Gordon-Conwell should be on the list!
