Myles Awai: One of the best hot pot experiences I’ve had in a loooong time. Happy Lamb has a great assortment of meats and other items to include in the pot. The food is decently priced and there’s great service.

Gloria Ha: I hadn't been to Happy Lamb in over 3 years (I did love their lunch special) but I was inspired to go since they offered free AYCE on your birthday (or the day before or after, with purchase of another AYCE). It seemed like a low-stakes way to try out the AYCE I've been seeing advertised online. I'm so glad I went. I had a wonderful experience and Happy Lamb is now my go-to for hotpot in the area.Currently the promotional price for AYCE is $27.99 on weekdays and $31.99 on weekends including Fridays. It looks like their normal price is $35.99 -- not sure when they'll return to that. In any case, unlimited meat and seafood at $27.99 is amazing for this area. And the quality is amazing! We arrived around 6:30pm on a Wednesday and were lucky to get seated -- there were people who arrived soon after that were waiting for a looong time. The restaurant was packed.I was surprised to see how the restaurant has completely changed to AYCE only -- it was such a good move. They manage to fit a huge variety of seafoods, vegetables, and noodles/tofus in a small amount of space, very efficiently. It's compact and designed smartly to keep the ingredients in their best state (eg having some things in individual plates).Everything was very fresh and tasty. I especially loved the shrimp paste -- it's airy and light and makes for delicious and fluffy pieces of shrimp goodness. The fish fillet (probably swai) is delicious and the marinated fish fillet had a nice coating that kept it more tender after cooking. Those were definitely my favorites in the seafood section. The thinly sliced meats (you order these separately) were amazing!! It made me think that thinly sliced meats are a win-win for the customer and the restaurant. The restaurant can give you less meat by cutting it thinner but it will taste better because it will melt in your mouth more. Both the fatty beef and the thinly-sliced pork were amazing -- just 10 seconds in the boiling broth to make it a melt-in-your-mouth bite. The marinated beefs are thicker and tougher with some weird parts -- I would not get this again when there are so many better seafood and meat options. They had all the different types of tofu skin and tofu -- love the wrinkly tofu skin and the porous tofu. The bok choy was very fresh and clean. The drinks are a bit sweet but you can always dilute them with water. Of course the broths are amazing as always. The spicy is not as oily as I remember and it's so good! I love the garlic in the broths too -- they end up getting nice and tender.Happy Lamb literally has everything I've ever wanted in a hotpot place (shrimp paste, fish fillet, fatty beef, delicious broth, tofu skin) and it's unlimited! I was very happy. This was a big improvement from the previous version of Happy Lamb (where I never ordered a la carte because I saw the $$ going up). You can definitely eat enough here to be done with hotpot for a few months (or until your next birthday...). I'll definitely be back! I would definitely choose it over Spring Shabu Shabu -- location-wise much more convenient, probably can avoid crazy waits, and unlimited meat and seafood.
Michael Metz: A good selection of items for the hotpot are available at the buffet. I also appreciate that they include some basic fried rice and spring rolls to have alongside the hotpot if you want. I also love the music they play here, though that of course will be a matter of personal preference. Overall both my visits here have been pleasant, I'm sure I'll be back again in the future.

Kevin Wang: Summary of my experience1. Soup base was very salty.2. Sauces were also very salty.3. 1.5h time limit - This is the first time I could not finish my meal at a AYCE place within 1.5h4. They ask you to basically self serve everything.. side items fine, but even napkins and water5. There’s a line to get side items.6. The meat that they do serve comes very slow, so we were constantly waiting. We didn’t finish eating.I gave a lower tip that’s not 18%. First of all, I was not happy. Second of all, was there even service?I think I should have not tipped because I got “lectured” by one of the waitresses and questioned about my tip. And I was stared out.

Spring Shabu-Shabu: what do users think?
Do Yunkyung: Overall the all you can eat experience was great. I especially enjoyed the wide selection of vegetables, noodles and fishcakes. The serving staff were also friendly. I took out one star because of a couple of things. The greeter lady was not very friendly explaining the 3-5pm closing time on the weekend. The table cleaning staff’s stacking dishes was quite noisy and disturbing to other guests around that were still dining.

SungHwan Lim: Been here more than ten times and it was my first time to see more than ten little flies flying around the food. The most disappointing part was that I saw no effort to make it better after I talked to the guy on the front desk. The photos were taken 20 minutes after I talked to the guy.
최may: You can eat vegetables in a healthy way, and you can season them to your liking! It's fun and the soft-serve ice cream after dinner is good. You may have to wait an hour or more on weekends. Anyone should go once.

Kaze Shabu Shabu: what do users think?
ee ee: Recommended dishes Tom YumMore
Marjana Akter (Peacefighter): The servers are always very kind and helpful. The food here is incredible, as someone who regularly visits different hot pot places.... this hot pot place is the BEST. The noodles are great, the beef is great, the broth options are great and the veggies never disappoint!!!!Vegetarian options: There's vegetarian options
Rachel Wu: just wanted to warn that this place is not gluten free and generally unfriendly towards customers in crisis. We walked in and asked the hostess if they had gluten free options or if the hot pot itself was gluten free and we got an enthusiastic yes so we sat down. They told us to ask the waitress specifically which things were gluten free so we ordered and then checked with the waitress if everything we ordered was gluten free and she nodded but then came back to tell us actually none of it was gluten free and and nothing on the menu was gluten free. Then when we asked them to give us some time to decide what to do they told us that there was a party waiting outside for our table so we decided that it would be better to leave. However on our way out we noticed that there were several tables open and no one outside waiting for table. We were very disappointed in the way they handled our situation and if you have a food allergy I would recommend not trying this restaurant.
Tanya Ko: I honestly don’t understand the great reviews for this place! We stopped by at an odd time of the day so we expected it to not be so busy anywhere we went but when you walk in around 3pm and there’s absolutely nobody in there, it kind of makes me wonder. But there was nobody at the front to greet us right away and then the older lady stepped out and you can tell she was so happy to be there *sarcastic voice*! There was so many gnats in the restaurant!! I’ve been to many hot pot and shabu shabu restaurants and this restaurant is lacking on the sauce bar. We ordered their Tom yum soup base and it wasn’t Tom yum, I don’t know what it was but it didn’t have the flavors that I’m use to and it was super greasy. I ordered bok Choy and it looked like lettuce. We were hungry so we ate and left as fast as we could. But I do not recommend this place.

Jusstyce Barrow: The worst service ever. i religiously go there A LOT & the service gets worst and worst. mind you i’m spending $70+ on food. Yesterday was the worst of the worst service i ever got. first they forgot 2 of the peoples drinks that I was with, so they had a whole dinner without any drinks, then we had to ASK for them to give us food because they completely forgot about our table. Then it was time to ask for the check & we had to ask someone to check us out, tell me how we left a bad tip only because of their service, which i felt they didnt even deserve one, the AUDACITY of the server to open the check and point to the tip because she seen her tip was low. I told her no the service was awful, and she proceeded to argue with me. Ive never dealt with a restaurant with terrible service & to think I go to this restaurant often!!! 0 stars.
Michael O'Mara: Auténtico en todos los sentidos
vishak vijayakumar: Bustling place with your choice of Chinese cuisine. Had the hot pot experience and it was delectable. One of the places on Chinatown that remains open late.
Sasha Svetlov: This place is a staple for late night food. One of the only places left that are consistently open late and even when it’s 1:30 am they welcome you in as if they just opened. The options are vast (and there’s non hot pot food). The broths are delicious and the sauce carts come in handy. All of the food is fresh and they’re sizable portions for the price. I love this place and I always recommend it. Thank you guys for the consistent good food:)

Alexander Kodak: Great experience! Went out in group of 4, about a 10 minute wait, and seated in the booth. The broths were great, strongly recommend the Thai Tomyum. Experience is the best to have with friends. Prices turned out to be around ~25 per person (in a group of 4) and we were stuffed. Great dinner option.
