Super fresh and delicious, with generous portions for a great price.I had ordered just before they closed, and they had missed the order. There was a bit of confusion, but instead of saying I ordered too late they kindly prepared the order and even threw in a baklava to apologize. Above and beyond customer service, they deserve a 6th star!!! :D

Mohaideen Abdul Kadar: Easily the best mediterranean / middle eastern food you could find in Cambridge! I love the delux kabob plate ( kabobs of chicken, lamb and kafta). The salad which comes with the plate is so fresh and filling ... a healthy diet! Also I would suggest to go for moroccan cheese burger which is a must try! Kids would love the chicken tenders without doubt.. and, its pretty pocket friendly place .. cant ask for more.. big thumbs up!

Sabrina Abrams: Yikes... This place is listed as "MiddleFeast" on Uber eats. The food was some of the worst I've ever tasted, and was not edible and thrown away.Very dry salty jerky like kabab meat, rancid babaganoush, clearly premade frozen falafel and canned grape leaves that were very dry and flavorless. The fries are not hand cut as advertised, they looked like frozen McDonald's style fries and I got about 15 of them for $5.There was the option to pay to add sides which I thought would be a fun way to try things out, but they removed the salad that was supposed to come with the platter and piled the additional sides all on top of each other, only adding one falafel when I ordered two which was really disappointing as well. They also didn't include utensils which I had requested.I only got two bites in, and I already am feeling sick. Absolutely not worth it, even if it was free!!I did get a baklava I didn't order which was a sweet touch, however did not make up for the inedible food or missing items that I did order :(

Steven Sullivan: Where should I start? This was awful. The meat was dry, cold, no flavor, tasted like it was days old. And it was burnt to hell. The rice was over cooked and old, and I found a FINGERNAIL in my falafel!!! Outrageous. The Naan bread came shredded up and they only sent us half of our order.. stay far away from the place. Shame on you, should be shut down

Evmorphia Stratis: Delicious & fresh! I got the chicken kebab pita with pickled turnips. The chicken was cooked perfectly and covered with just right amount of tahini sauce stuffed into a thin pita bread. I love the thin pitas! It was served with a fresh side salad delicately seasoned. The Arabic coffee was fabulous with just the right amount of infused cardamom. I usually take Greek and/or Arabic coffee with sugar - but this one didn’t need it. The pistachio baklava was divine, not too sweet with flavorful buttery layers of fillo. I can’t wait to go back!

Leila Claire: The food at Sam's was so good, it took me on a trip to memory lane!I'm from a Lebanese family in Paris France and I'm picky about my food. I went to Sam's after reading reviews and I was expecting good Falafel and good Mediterranean food, but not GREAT Middle Eastern food. Sam is a great chef and cooks the best homemade style dishes from his native Syria.The Falafel was refined with just the right mix of spices (not loaded with cumin as people from other regions make it), a crispy exterior and a moist interior. It was sitting on a bed of tahini sauce that also had the perfect amount of seasoning. The foul madamas brought tears to my eyes because I haven't had one like this in so many years. It was the perfect warm temperature, the Middle Eastern fava beans were flavorful, cooked to perfection, and again seasoned with just the right amount of garlic, lemon and olive oil. The olive oil itself had a great flavor, a sign that this kitchen uses quality ingredients, which makes all the difference.I also tasted a roasted eggplant in tomato sauce that was delicious and not as acidic as I expected.My husband and a friend had Shawarma sandwiches that were huge and they said were outstanding, with all the trimmings including pickled turnip. Another friend had "Sam's Special Falafel" which he absolutely loved although it was really spicy.Another sign that he knows his food: Sam's had 2 different of pita breads, including what is called "mountain bread" in Lebanon, a paper-thin type of pita that has a slight sourdough flavor. My only comment would be to add whole-wheat pita bread to the menu for those who eat only whole grains. Apart from that, everything was perfect!Shukran! Thank you so much, Sam, you made my day! I will be back for more!

So happy to be back and enjoying the amazing lamb & beef shawarma plate! One plate is enough for both lunch and dinner for me!It’s about $18/plate (worth it) and I see a lot of people complaining about an added 4% they didn’t know about. There’s a flyer indicating that clearly at the counter - they just don’t read! Also, after going through this pandemic and seeing how much meaner customers are, no wonder he’s standoffish!! Absolutely love this place!!

justin shields: The lamb shawarma plate is delicious. The meat is tender with some crispy parts and seasoned perfectly. It comes with a good variety of sides like pickled red onions, cucumber/tomato salad, hummus, pita bread and of course rice. In addition to the tatziki they give you a side of garlic sauce which was delicious. $18 but nearly enough food for two meals.

We stopped in for lunch and each had a falafel plate and my toddler son had a falafel sandwich. The falafel plates were delicious and filling and they were very generous with offering us extra pita bread which my son loves. We didn’t get hungry again until dinner time!

Elliot Borenstein: We usually order from a different shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try.The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap.My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.

Mike Leukam: I ordered an assortment of hummus, falafel, shawarma, and bread for a crew of movers and a hungry family. The owner got on the phone and figured out what we needed, made it all quickly, then lent me a cooler to get it all home. He made sure I would tell everyone they were not to skip the pickled turnips and mint with each falafel. The quality of the food exceeded expectations, and was really delicious. The hummus was extremely smooth and rich. The meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. The falafel was light and pillowy inside, crunchy and flavorful outside. It was plenty to feed everyone, and everyone took down the name of the restaurant to order again. Now that I live close by, I will definitely be stopping in regularly.
