Lamplighter Brewing Co. - Broadway: what do users think?
Gio Mgaloblishvili: Coffee is decent but they play super loud pop music. Maybe it’s intended to get people to leave sooner so they get more customers. Anyways the music is the kind of corporate pop you’d hear at a Whole Foods or a CVS.
Karlyne Trachy: Nous avons adoré cette micro. Les bières sont excellentes et le service aussi.
Eazy: Beers are good. Bathrooms are highly confusing and made me feel uncomfortable.
Andrew Zoller: Great beer, great vibe, coffee shop hybrid as well. Date spot or friend hangout, definitely worth a visit.
Chris Reilly: Great ambiance, really nice staff, decent beer. I would definitely go back.
Jaye Aster Broder: Nice brewery that’s accessible but not super close to the T stops. It had a fun vibe with and front and back tap room. There is food available but the brewery doesn’t seem to forecast as well and sold out of most snacks before 6pm so it might be best to only come here for beer. There are no cocktails or wine sold here. The beer prices are a little high for 12 oz servings rather than a pint but the tasting flights looked well-priced. The bathrooms are semi gender neutral but a little confusing.
R H: Racist!!!I am a 25 year old black woman and this was a dominantly white bar. Keep I’m mind that many of my coworkers had expired IDs and I was the ONLY one they were watching and TARGETED! I went with my coworkers and boss for a company happy hour. They first REFUSED to let me in since my ID was a month past the expiration date. However, after speaking to management they let me go to my work event. During the event I had a drink and the assistant manager immediately snatched my drink from the table and forced me to leave. The bar didn’t even use an ID scanner to make sure IDs were valid. They also did not restrict other non Black or white attendees with expired IDs from drinking which means I was targeted on purpose.
Tanashya Batra: If I could give this place zero stars I would. They targeted my black Co-worker because she had an expired ID when two of us also had expired ids. They singled her out and treated her with utter disrespect and contempt. They threatened to kick her out of the group when we were all there for a work event. We were honestly so shocked we got up and left.
Shiran Soholitsky: Love this place, they have different food pop up every night and a lot of social activities (trivia nights, comedy shows, The Bachelor screening every Monday, art craft workshops, movie night once a month and a lot more). The Beer is great, a lot of different beers to choose from. This is a self-service bar, so sometimes the line can be a little long. There are games you can play with friends, nice music and a great vibe. Note that the food pop-up is on limited hours, so check on their Instagram or website.
Gabrielle Patick: Got yelled at for playing kings with four people over the age of 25 in a controlled setting 3
KR Marañon: Beer on tap doesn’t miss, they appeal to all palettes when it comes to their variety of selection. It’s your college bar, so the appeal towards trendier things are apparent. Good vibes!
Chris McCarthy: Good vibes, good beer. What more could you want?
Evan: Staff is so friendly and amazing, especially love the pepita coffee crew in the morning! Such friendly faces.
Sarrah Marcotte: Sweet environment, good snacks, good kombucha, and they have packed trivia nights, and tons of games there which we love from a brewery. Also was loving the artwork there, cool spot.
Howard Phillips: The brews and the atmosphere are always wonderful, even on a slow day at the start of the New Year! I do hope there’s not a return of the ‘bartender looking the other way’ trend that has thankfully vanished since lockdown era… this is the second time in a couple months where that ‘game’ seems to be creeping back - say it ain’t so! This is a such a great venue!
justin gibbs: Went there for New Years Eve, and champagne was included. I've had a lot of champagne served. No champagne ever got poured from a tupperwear drink container. Always from the bottle. Until last night anyway.Difficulty finding staff. There were no staff members in front. After 5 minutes of waiting, finally someone showed their face. The drinks here I find very sweet.
Amir Aharoni: An excellent microbrewery. A large variety of beers, draft and cans, and they are tasty and unique. Very nice staff, too. A wonderful find. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇺🇲❤️🍻(In the same space there's also a very good café. The two businesses are friendly to each other, but they have separate cashiers and they are open in different hours.)
John Salisz: The seating was limited
Danielle Gosdin: Beer: 3/5 I don’t think there’s enough variety in their selection.Ambience: 4/5 It’s nearly always busy (sometimes too busy) and the atmosphere feels light and happy. They have board games as well.Service: 4/5 Staff is always friendly but a little slow to serve the beer. There’s frequently long lines to get beer.Misc:They sometimes bring in random local vendors to serve food. My photo has cupcakes, but I know vendors have also served full meals like ramen before
Mark Diethelm: One of the few breweries, right in the city. There's a lot of space, great beers and rotating food options. Great place for a group to meet up.
Brian Rothschild: Great beers, and great service.

Lamplighter Brewing Co. - CX: what do users think?
Wyatt Prill: Good beer, slow service. Average wait time was 7 minutes for the bar for no reason. They need to hire more staff for the space
Yash Trivedi: The bartender Shannon was extremely rude. We borrowed 2 unused chairs to our table since we had additional guests who were standing, and instead of politely asking, she mocked us arrogantly saying “do I come to your home and move furniture?” And continued being rude. The person who checked our IDs was rude as well.I live lamplighters on Broadway. But the CX one was such a bad experience.
Francisco Cortez: Nice architecture, okay beers, but the rudeness of the bartenders is remarkable
Isabela Heringer: Not a friendly place.. cold beer, cold service
Jessica Perry: Cool place. Good beer. Can bring your own food from tatte which is nice
Samantha Ulan: Really cool space, great beers, very attentive and friendly service! 10/10
Rajat Ghosh: Amazing place to go drinking beer with friends. Good choice of beers, and love their hazy IPA selections. Nice ambience, and they have good board games too! Friendly staff.
Jeremy Yowell: Awesome vibes and an intimate atmosphere made this location for Lamplighter brewing a great experience. I didn't love all of the beers I tried/ordered but I do commend the brewery on the variety of options and inventive tasting notes.
Ryan Vincent: I really enjoyed this brewery. They have a nice space here with a patio. The nice fellow working there opened up a spot on the patio so we could sit and enjoy their beer with our dog even thought it was fairly cold out. You can tell they care about their beer making here. Some really good beers here. Not just a brew pub that you might typically find in the Boston area.
Kevin: Wouldn't let me into the artisan market that was being hosted there because I didn't have my license. I biked there. It's on a bike path. I didn't even want a drink.
Aakrity Madhan: Beer being amazing, I want to mention that the service didn't seem to be at all. The male bartender was clearly interested in serving white customers and that is a disappointing experience altogether.
amy whited: Lamplighter is one of my favorite breweries. I’ll go out of my way to have Rabbit Rabbit on tap. I will say, the CX location tends get a little boisterous when your there early. Lotta kids just running “amok”. But honestly it’s well worth the visit every time.
Bridget O'Donnell: LOVE lamplighter so much both locations are amazing. The beer is out of this world and the staff are the loveliest people to interact with. The CX location is our fav spot on a Saturday or Sunday (early when they open) though it can be a bit much on esp. on sundays with kids running around and screaming unattended (not sure why parents think that’s ok to do)
John West: Great beer and fantastic service. Really loved the whole vibe of the place. Relaxed, but a little upscale too. If I lived closer I'd be a regular
Jennifer Moody: Super cute space and great beer selection. We did two of their pre-chosen flights, which usually isn't my favorite, but their combinations were great. They were all out of their pumpkin beer but offered some great substitutes.
Andrew Shiah: Great place for a good beer with friends. They have an awesome and varied menu of beers, not just all NE IPAs like some places in the area! And this location is a fantastic space
oo-: Love the relaxed atmosphere and exquisite craft beers.
Sara Tinsley: Decent location - lots of free street parking. It's a very modern part of Boston, there's a neat common area and modern construction. The beer was good but a very narrow selection. Seemed like a happy hour spot. Small outdoor patio.
Pep: Great atmosphere and beer. Terrace was closed on a nice summer evening. Last call for ordering a last beer was 10 min before closing , they made me leave 10 min later so I had to drink my beer in 10 min...
Margot: Simply outstanding. Great beer choice, perfect location in the CX area, nice and helpful staff, modern and welcoming environment. Highly recommended, especially for an after-work with colleagues!
Sara Ansari: BRAVO LAMPLIGHTER, BRAVO. The only, and I repeat, the ONLY, bar/lounge/restaurant I have ever gone to that actually has signs up to keep women safe, seen and protected. Why this isn’t a norm everywhere is beyond me. See pic for details!Alongside that, they have a great selection of locally crafted beers in different size glasses. Food option is subpar and could be more options at a lower price, but they have this place set up pretty much as an after work bar with patio seating to grab a drink with your coworkers. Great atmosphere and drinks!
