The service is super friendly and our instructor goes over everything about safety and watches over us for the whole time. I really appreciate his patience! I was particularly scared but he called me up front and made a shot right in front of my face to ease my anxiety & I was successful after that. We tried six guns and they got bigger each time, but the whole thing was very interesting, exciting and safe.

We only paid $100 to try out about 6-7 different type of guns for about 1hr and 15min. You can’t beat that. The entire staff was lovely. Will definitely be coming back. Curtis Knight: I am a professional DJ and I had the pleasure of being part of a wedding at the Maynard rod and gun club. It's a wonderful spot to have your wedding. The ceremony takes place right beside the small pond that is behind the main building and the pavilion. The pavilion is the outdoor covered structure where the reception follows and part of the pavilion is restrooms and a snack bar and kitchen. The highlight of the entire celebration was Julie who I believe is the entertainment coordinator or the manager of Maynard rod and gun club and her personality is so upbeat and so kind and so nurturing and so helpful it made the entire difference between having an average ho hum wedding and a spectacular happy wedding day. Usually when I ask the bartender or manager if we can adjust the lights they are not happy to be bothered and they groan and obligatorily will help you once or twice and then you are usually on your own and they will not help you if the lighting needs to be adjusted. But Julie continued to ask me if the lighting was to our satisfaction and she adjusted it several times and each time she waited on somebody she would give them such kindness and such happiness and she was so upbeat it really did affect the entire tone of the event. Because of her and what she brings to this facility I would recommend this venue for a wonderful wedding experience. Just call ahead and make sure Julie will be on site running things on the day of your wedding :)

sdw96: The Maynard Rod and Gun Club is an awesome place to enjoy the shooting sports, learn the shooting sports, and meet some fun people. The club has 2 skeet fields, 2 trap fields, outdoor rifle and pistol ranges, indoor rifle and pistol ranges, archery, trout fishing, a bar, pool tables, darts, game supers, great special functions, and a cool hall you can rent out too.I like to shoot with the skeet and trap group. We meet every Sunday for a few rounds of skeet followed by breakfast cooked and served right on the skeet field. Thursday nights there is Trap league. Halloween the zombie shoot is awesome. After it all you head into the bar for a beer and to watch the game.Best part of all the members are very inviting and willing to teach anyone how to safely handle all firearms. I have been a member for three years and love the place. Come down and check it out. If you shoot skeet come down to the skeet fields at 10AM on a Sunday and say hi. We are usually there till 1pm and we are in the process of putting in a 5 stand!

They have a very kind, helpful, and informative staff that can answer just about any firearms question you may have. All around great people. They have a wide variety of firearms rentals(tons of pistols to choose from) the best part is they rent by caliber, you could try out every 9mm they offer for only 20 bucks. Also give you a chance to try before you buy. If your a new shooter they'll help you out with your first experience too. They make your firearms purchase quick and painless. Overall an amazing place and I look forward to every range day here. Strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Marco Chavez: On Target was my first stop after getting my LTC given the good reviews and reputation online. Sean, the employee who helped me, was terrific. I was dead set on a Smith and Wesson compact handgun which he let me try, but he gave me some fantastic alternative suggestions and I walked out with an HK VP9 (Which I much preferred after trying both).I'm a total newbie to firearms so I was pretty intimidated getting into all this, but the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive which helped a ton. Would strongly recommend making the trip out here.

Matt Greil: First time at a gun range, and I was pretty nervous. Tagged along with a friend who recently got his LTC and we used his Sig Sauer and a 12-gauge shotgun. They a really big selection of firearms that you can either buy or rent on the range. Pretty sure it was about $25 to rent a range and all guns cost different amounts to rent, and then you had to buy the ammunition of course. The clerks were very friendly and made the whole process very easy and were incredibly knowledgable about all the guns and were able to answer all our questions.We also rented a 1911 Colt 45 and an AR-15 that had a laser sight scope on it. After a few shots rotating through firing the rifle, one of the clerks came in and was chatting with us about different guns and even assisted us to help shoot better at the targets, I thought that was really great customer service and helpful for beginners like us. As nervous as I was with all the huge guns people had in the range room, I eventually felt more comfortable with it all, even though the gun shots were WICKED loud and we definitely need goggles and headphones.Looking forward to the next time shooting some other guns there!

Samvith V Rao: Everyone behind the counter was very attentive and helpful as this was my first time at a shooting range. Not gun snobs or know-it-all's. We went in a group of 7 people, but 3 amongst us didn't have a US drivers license nor a US passport (they had an Indian Passport) - so they could not enjoy. But I highly recommend this place for first-timers.

Red: I made an online purchase that needed to be shipped to a FFL dealer. They made it painless, answered all my questions and kept in communication with me through out the process. I ended up receiving my order much sooner than I expected. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be ordering from On Target again.
